I think that the saddest thing about Gojo is that he never really had the chance to be happy. He had to protect everyone, be the strongest, fight his best friend and then keep going, always, be the one everyone relied on. But what did he choose about that? How many of his choices actually led him there instead of in other situations? Most of the times he had to accept what was happening due to other people’s choices and act accordingly because that’s what was expected of him. My boy never really took care of himself, he worked so fucking hard to become what others wanted and needed him to be but underneath it all, behind the façade, he was lonely as fuck and no one cared enough to notice, or decided it wasn’t a priority because as long as he could do his job it was good enough.

“CHERISH THESE MOMENTS.”
GOJO SATORU X fem!reader
summary: you and satoru take the first years out on a little adventure, and he can’t help but feel like you two should really, really cherish this moment.
warnings: fluff, tiny bit of angst, teacher!reader, satoru and reader are in a relationship, mentions of yujis execution, mentions of shibuya at the end, fluff otherwise! ik we all need it after chapter 236 wtf gege..
tell me if there’s spelling errors as this wasn’t proofread and was rushed!
“today, we are doing something different!” satoru cheered as the first years and yourself stared at him, you had a happy smile on your face at his words.
yesterday, satoru had suggested to principal yaga that maybe taking the kids out on a little adventure would be good for them. reluctantly, yaga agreed with satoru’s words.
with everything’s that happened to these young kids so far, their teachers believe they deserve a break. a little fun once in a while doesn’t hurt anybody!
“we get to miss class?” megumi looked between you and satoru, confused. lately, you two had been working them to the brim to make sure they stayed strong… so he has every reason to be confused on why his teachers are doing this.
“WE GET TO MISS CLASS? WOOHOO!” yuji on the other hand, was very happy with this news.
“what are we doing? you gonna take us to a cursed building?” nobara suggested with a quirked brow, hinting to when satoru took her and yuji to a building that had a curse inside of it after telling them they were going to “roppongi”.
“no, don’t worry! we are doing something better.” you smiled at her, taking a few steps to stand beside your lanky boyfriend who happily nodded.
“we are going on an adventure… to the beach!” satoru and you said in unison while enthusiastically throwing your arms up in the air.
“why else would we ask you to pack a bag with a swimsuit?” you questioned and looked over to the boy you call your son, megumi, even though you aren’t blood related.
“okay. when are we going?” megumi held a small bag as the other two did as well, they were now extremely excited about going to the beach.
you turned to megumi and ruffled his hair with a large smile on your face as he groaned, pushing your hand away. yet, despite him looking annoyed, a small smile was present on his lips as he watched his friends and parents get excited over the beach.
-
unfortunately, satoru had gotten everyone distracted by a sweets store and by the time you arrived at the beach, the sun was setting.
the kids could still swim, is what you said with a grin on your face as you ushered them to enjoy the sun before it sets and it’s beauty.
satoru thought the exact same thing as he watched you sit down and watch the three kids he could call his children play at the beach. their happiness touched your hearts (megumi was smiling too!).
as satoru and you got more comfortable on the sand, satoru couldn’t help but relish in this moment. deep down though, satoru knew the dark futures these kids have ahead of them as sorcerers.
a replica of his personality, was to be executed. yuji wouldn’t get to live long enough to reach his full potential, that hurt satoru to think about as his teacher; the one who pushes him to grow, makes him feel normal even though he has the king of curses harboured inside of him.
he feels his fists clench as he watches the kids play, his eyes suddenly filled with dread.
you heard the sound of satoru’s teeth grinding and a scoff. furrowing your eyebrows, you look at your boyfriend.
his face was filled with dread, his beautiful eyes now holding a sadness in them that you recognized all to well.
“hey, satoru. don’t.”
your words made him furrow his eyebrows as he turned to you. your lips were tugged into a frown as you stared at him sadly.
“what?”
“don’t think about that, please. just… forget about that for a second and help these kids live their life’s to the fullest.”
that statement made satoru’s lip’s tremble slightly as he looked towards his students. megumi was currently on the ground, picking up cool rocks and shells he found while nobara and yuji cheered him on for being able to find such small yet gorgeous things.
“you know we’ll handle it, we always do.” you grinned at satoru and he felt his heart swell. he felt so much love for you it was hard to describe but in moments like these, he swears he could write a whole essay about his love for you inside and out.
“yeah. i trust you.”
“and i trust you, gojo satoru.” you handed him his tinted glasses as he thanked you, you knew him so well.
he had so much adoration for you and it couldn’t even be hidden by his blindfold or his black glasses. suddenly, the strongest can’t stop smiling as he watches the kids run up to you two, showing off everything they found in the sand.
“gojo sensei, this reminded me of you!” nobara outstretched her hand, showing satoru a rock that had tinges of white and a blueish colour. even though the colours were barely visible it made satoru ruffle her hair and thank her wholeheartedly.
“thanks, what a good eye you have!” he winks at his students as they groan at his joke while he wiggles his eyebrows, showing off the rock and his eye.
the joke made sense but didn’t at the same time, yet, it was enough to make you cackle so hard it hurt your stomach.
everyone followed suite, your laughter being contagious.
satoru moved closer to you, bending down to whisper in your ear.
“i love you, i promise to have many more moments like this with you.”
you wish he kept his promise, now you sit infront of a bundle of screens while holding your hand over your mouth, tears cascading down your face at the scene infront of you.
“i love you, satoru, please come back.”
~
hi! ive got sm beef with gege it’s insane. I NEED HIM BACK PLS ILL SELL MY ENTIRE BEING FIR HIM TO COME BACK AND LIVE PEACEFULLYYY
anyways hope u enjoyed ml’s, tell me if there’s spelling errors as this wasn’t proofread and was rushed!

Hyped Up Rambling: Spoilers for ONE PIECE Chapter 1104
Tumblr media
There are many daddies in One Piece.
But there is only one person who deserves the title of FATHER!
And it’s you, sir Kuma.
As much as I have grievances with Odachii, this is an arc written by a father for his daughter.
Parental love hurts. But still, parents continue to love their children despite the pain, loss, fear, and hardship.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Again I am reminding you all. The series finale actually began exactly two years back when Luffy punched Saint Charlos.
Kuma just continued the fight that Luffy lit the fire for! As my best friend put it, “Kuma is following in Joy Boy’s footsteps. Bringing light to the world…”
Even a “slave”, stripped and robbed of all his rights, mental prowess, and dignity and abused to the point of being on the brink of death will FIGHT TO PROTECT! A slave who lost everything rose up on his two feet to protect his child and punched the man who sits on the highest seat of power, and Joyboy aka Luffy made it possible.
Tumblr media
And do you know who the people in power fear the most?
The slave they robbed of autonomy.
The scholar they denied true knowledge.
The ethnic groups they massacred.
And the God Born Out Of People’s Despair who comes to seek vengeance.
AND KUMA IS ALL!
Tumblr media
May I also remind you all, Borsalino is worse than Sakazuki, he is a scum without any hope in him or in anyone. He is scarier than a straight-cut villain like Sakazuki.
There is a reason idealists are easier to defeat than cynics. You can’t beat a deadbeat easily.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My favourite rascals! Franky and Sanji have no chill! They went after Saturn, without any fear or hesitation, just like they went after Saint Roswald, Doflamingo and Big Mum. Their brain operates on: we are Future Pirate King’s Crew, we will kick anyone who is a scum!
I still can’t believe so many people hate Franky! The dude has literally the least count of losses and the funniest battles! Because he doesn’t fight one one-on-one guy, and he shines in the fights when minions and their bosses are involved against lone him! In Dressrosa he ran wild; kissed a girl (yes without consent; thanks scum Odachii) to defeat her, had a hard-boiled match with Senor Pink, destroyed the SAD factory and went to support the fairies on his own! And In Wano he ran his monster bike right into Big Mom’s face and knocked her out! We need more Franky love!
Tumblr media
And finally!
I don’t like to pit series against series, but this is how you utilize the most cliché theme in the entire world: LOVE. You have to show it with actions and gestures and not tell it to your readers. Yes, Gege, I mean you brat; do better.
Why do you think we the readers and viewers still crumble at the theme of love? It’s extremely simple.
Love is radical.
Love is unpredictable.
Love is powerful.
And time and again in One Piece—Love is an Anomaly.
Ace was born because of Rouge’s willpower born of love.
Sanji was able to retain his humanity because Sora did everything in her power to protect her kids.
Robin was saved because her teachers, mother, and Saul loved her so much that they chose to protect her.
Nojiko and Nami had a chance to live because Bellemere protected them.
Trafalgar Law made it through a life-threatening disease and nihilistic approach to living because Corazón bet his life on him.
Hiluluk’s love for Chopper pushed him to be the doctor who wanted to cure everyone.
Zoro’s love for Kuna is what pushes him to work hard.
Because Franky wants to protect his “Family” he becomes the face of criminal activities.
Shirahoshi never revealed her mother's death circumstances because she decided to protect her mom's dream.
Examples of love changing the course of history are endless in One Piece, hence we should remember: Love is the invariant.

Ngl I think my biggest problem rn is the fact I don’t see many people also taking into account how awful Yuta obviously feels. Of course Gojo being used and seen as a weapon even in death his heartbreaking. It’s just… Yuta cares about Gojo people be forgetting that. He was the first person to believe in him and give him a chance. He had to not only watch him die. But he also had to become something, and use someone he cared about for the “greater good”. I didn’t know what Gege had in mind, but I think this really did hurt a lot to see. Because not only is this just cruel for Gojo and the parallels with him and Geto. But because Yuta is a 17 year old boy who feels as if this act was all he could do, and is potentially ending his life in the process. Which may be kinder rather than him having to live in his deceased teacher’s body for the rest of his life. I’m just sad. Both of them deserved better. It breaks my heart to see people be so quick to demonize Yuta like he wanted this.
Sorry for the rant I’m just really sad lol.
yes to all of that. people are acting like yuuta never cared for gojo as if he wasn't the same guy who wanted to kill kenjaku so gojo wouldn't have to bear the burden of killing his bestfriend twice. not just that but the panel where he says "what about gojo sensei? gojo sensei isn't important? all of us, haven't we all kept pushing gojo sensei to be a monster all on his own?! if he is gone then the monster has to be someone else. IF NO ONE ELSE WILL, THEN I WILL BECOME ONE!!" clearly he cared so much but there was no else who could do it, he wanted to make gojo's sacrifice worthwhile, my boy hasn't had a day of peace since culling games arc and now everyone hates him??? why? because he chose the difficult decision? that panel of him saying he's also at his limits to shoko while smiling breaks my heart so much. i am just. yeah you and me, us both anon thinking about him hurts my heart.

Thoughts on Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 231 (spoiler)
Tumblr media
We start by getting the explanation on why Gojo's punches are so devastating. We heard from Uraume about it the first time and now we get the confirmation that it really is a special punch laced with Blue.
Maki, Panda and Yuji all say that they punched their sensei and Inumaki is squeezed right between the other three to signal to the reader that he's a teacher puncher as well.
Tumblr media
But only Yuta and Hakari were the unlucky ones to get punched by Gojo. Maki isn't with these boys on this side of getting punched because pre Gojo's sealing she hadn't been on their level yet. So remember, if you're a really strong student you get punched by Gojo.
Tumblr media
Nanami flashback + Ino sadness. We're all him in this moment. Also, Kusakabe, we had never an idea on what Gojo would be doing anyway other than trying to rescue Megumi.
Tumblr media
Get that bitch! Honestly, my love for Sukuna cooled a bit down after he possessed Megumi and I think it will stay on that lower level until the end when we find out what will happen with Megumi. I can accept a bad ending for him but I hope for a good one.
And because there are some people who seriously believe that Megumi is dead in the narrative (saw this on Twitter and YouTube), sorry but what manga are you reading? Megumi's story is not over yet and a blind grandma could tell you that. Yes, some characters have to reach rock bottom first before they can rise again. And Megumi's rise will be spectacular.
Tumblr media
Kagebunshin no jutsu.
After we got Yorozu's quote for a second time in the last chapter, I expected a bit more on that front in this one. But my perspective was probably a bit screwed here. This chapter had an amazing fight with the addition of new stakes and that is probably what Sukuna would understand about love. Or to be more precise: we have gotten to the "lonely" part of her quote (he has now found someone on his level) and the love part will probably come when the fight reaches it's end. Additionally, Sukuna's perspective has been really limited until now, so that might get a spotlight later on (hopefully not so late though.)
Sukuna also has some beautiful panels this time. I even saw Megumi in him here and there
Tumblr media
Last chapter, we saw Gojo defeated after he couldn't expand UV but then his own strength got reaffirmed when Sukuna's DE broke down. This chapter he's as joyful as in the beginning with the clear belief that he will win.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's really interesting how you can damage specific parts of the brain to hinder specific abilities from being utilized. You need the Barrier Techniques for a DE but not for a Domain Amplification.
That last panel of Sukuna is also so quintessentially Sukuna it's not even a joke. How Gege manages to portray a different character in the body of another without actually changing things like the facial structure is unbelievable. His eyes with the double iris too, shows us Sukuna in all his glory.
Tumblr media
As we see in the top right panel, it's now Gojo's time to go and Sukuna's to take a backseat. The next chapter will be him beating on Sukuna relentlessly. (Before it'll be Sukuna's turn again.)
On the wheel: I always said that unlimited adaptation would be overpowered as an ability but until now my thinking on limiting it was the amount of adaptations Mahoraga was able to do. My theory in the past was that Mahoraga's limit would be eight because of the eight nobs on the wheel, then the first adaptation would be overriden by a new one. Now we learn that Gege went a different route to depower Maho: by having the wheel turn multiple times to adapt to different kinds of techniques.
The more powerful a technique, the more turns it needs. UV needed 5 apparently, that's why Sukuna put Megumi through the adaptations as often as he did. Limitless needs 4.
It's a little frustrating though that we didn't get a better explanation on how Sukuna made Megumi shoulder the adaptation in the first place. "I used the 10 Shadows" is way too vague. For everyone interested in my theory on this and a succinct battle analysis for round 1 of this fight, here's my newest post on the matter.
Tumblr media
Gojo has some wild and funny expressions this chapter which brings the fun back into this fight. And is it just me, or do others miss blindfold Gojo as well?
Now that we have a time limit (the adaptation itself also takes time, no 0.001 second adaptations here) next few chapters are bound to be intense. And if Gojo doesn't manage to defeat Sukuna until then, then the King of Curses will have adapted to Gojo's ultimate attack and ultimate defense 👀
My prediction: Gojo will temporarily defeat Sukuna, that was always his plan, then he will try to separate him from Megumi, maybe with the help of the others, but even with the best precautions, Sukuna will rise back from the dead before they can save Megumi. Then shit will hit the fan.
Maybe we'll get a (one-sided) Sukuna/Megumi interaction as well.

i'm sorry for replying after such a long time but on the day you wrote back i was leaving for a week's trip and then recovering from a cold i caught during that time (playing genshin was the only thing i was capable of). when i read that you will never get tired of this topic it's a bit like hearing myself to be honest <3 i really hope that one day gege will finally have mercy, i really need this to calm my mind in some way. so part of me wants to believe that something changed geto's parents after they started to notice that he is not an ordinary boy. that, like you mentioned, something switched in him when he saw mimiko and nanako locked in this cage because of his past experiences. on the other hand something tells me that the whole thing didn't affect his contact with his parents at all. that their view on their son stayed the same, maybe because they simply didn't even know about all this, which only makes this situation more sad and tragic. its even more gege style tbh, also i'm sure he has this very well thought out. thanks that you also brought out the incident! there is another thing i'm not sure about. after the manga it seemed to me that he went to his parents right after killing the villagers, but according to the anime, it looked a bit as if the parents were residents of that village and he simply didn't make exceptions for them so they were executed along with other inhabitants. maybe i'm misunderstanding something, i haven't done any further research on this subject yet. and here i wonder again - if they knew anything? did he know why he came to them or maybe something happened on the spot that put the nail in their coffin? we're missing SO many informations that are just SO important i'm going jdfhfdjjhkj
actually i don’t think it is ever explicitly said, no, but i just assumed that his parents had nothing to do with the village so ultimately it was deliberate that he went to kill his parents right after his mission, WHICH IS SO UNSETTLING TO ME it wasnt like they got caught in the crossfire - his parents were his “first” victims. i say this because i believe that he did what he did to the villagers as sort of like.. an impulse. it wasnt thought through, he acted without thinking, instead he acted based on what he felt in that moment. but with his parents.. was it an impulse or was it intentional? still, either way, that is what makes me believe that they didn’t have a good relationship to begin with. yaga mentions that suguru’s house is completely empty, no bodies, only blood, so there’s always the possibility that it could’ve staged, however, there’s also the possibility that he just buried the bodies or got rid of them in some way which sounds more plausible to me if i were to stick to that idea of mine about how he was neglected by both his parents. i just like tragic characters so i always imaginate the worst scenario possible, that’s my bad 😭.

(leaving here the link to the ao3 version for those who feel more comfortable with its formatting)
SVSSS AU inspired by a possible animatic I could do with “Imposter Imperceptible” in which Shen Yuan is among the imposters (you think there would be just one? In a SVSSS fanfiction-more-like-quick-thought?! Fools), BUT! It’s not an Among Us AU (… an AU AU).
So! Shen Yuan gets transmigrated as little Ba, Jiu’s younger twin. He gets a Qi-ge too, of course, he’s part of the package deal. A year goes by, during which in one way or another Shen Yuan collects the hints and comes to realise that his Jiu-ge is the great but terrible Scum Villain of PIDW! Now though he’s not so bad. Sure, he’s snarky and not exactly kind, but he cares, he makes sure his didi’s fed whenever it’s possible, checks his health as first thing in the morning and never lets Shen Yuan get (too) cold during the winter.
Then, one day, Jiu-ge tells him and Qi-ge that he felt on his back quite constantly for about a week the stare of a certain wealthy man, surely a noble. He’s sure he’s about to get sold and none of them is having it. They make a plan to escape somewhere that same night, they have a whole day to get ready and inconspicuously retrieve the little money they’ve saved — how should not be investigated. Get everything you need, hide it near the the city’s gate, and when the moon is high and just the song of crickets fill the night that is the time for them to gather and leave that hell hole to find some wandering cultivator to learn from. They’re strong, already did with success some simple exercises with their qi. They can do it.
But when the time comes, Shen Yuan, Ba-di, is missing. The two other kids wait for a bit until Qi-ge gets restless and wants to go and search for the younger boy, but Xiao Jiu stops him ad confesses: that day, a wealthy family bought his didi, allegedly to adopt him. They seemed nice, he would notice a liar or an imminent danger right away… He didn’t want to get separated from his didi, even hated him for a few seconds because why Ba and not Jiu? But, but… It was better than being fugitives slaves, safer, he had to let him go. Qi-ge is sad but understands. Dried the bitter-sweet tears, they depart.
Is Shen Yuan getting some luck in his life? AH! He wishes! Nope! I know, you know, everyone know who got him though, right? None other than Qiu Jianluo, 1st place in the scummiest villains league — joint winner is of course that viscid old man, Lao Gongzhu. Even though Shen Yuan tells Qiu Janluo he’s not Jiu, hi gege (and the bastard noticed!), the man shrugs it off: a twin for a twin, their beauty is the same and so will be they’re role. So, Shen Yuan discovers in a very traumatising way the would have been past of Shen Jiu. There’s a hope he holds to, though: when he got bought, he saw Jiu-ge and his brother saw him, made a terrified expression and run away. He was surely making a plan with Qi-ge to save him, none of them would never leave him.
Uh uh.
We know the drill of this world, the Never-a-Joy universe has some preferences and protagonists are the lucky winners.
Things go too far, patience’s limit has been reached and long passed, no one is coming. Shen Yuan’s furious, Shen Yuan decides that yes, he wants to let go and go ape shit, and so he does. The qi deviation is freeing, seeing blood flying everywhere cathartic. Among the flames and the dying screams, there are no survivors this time: no one helped, everyone turning their heads either because they didn’t care or because they didn’t want to incur in the young master’s retalation. Even Qiu Haitang is left to burn. Shen Yuan is glad he’ll never have to hear her annoying giggles ever again, her blind naivety. Not to mention the bitch would then come back in the future to accuse Shen Jiu, or, well, him in this case, of well deserved pluri-homicide. Good riddance, he thinks.
Painted red from head to toes, Shen Yuan is out for vengeance.
Time skip to many years later.
Shen Jiu, Shen Qingqiu is the esteemed lord of Qing Jing Peak, he’s still kind of an asshole, but because no Qiu household, no Wu Yanzi, no scum villain party! He’s more mellow of his original counterpart, but still perceive others as potential enemies, the too good disciples as potential usurpers. That’s a no no in his life schedule. Binghe, my dear Binghe, I love you but the drama is needed here! But worry not, because there’s no escape from the SVSSS vital plot moments even for scum villains!
Our dearest White Lotus, on a day like all the others (so, it starts bad, it ends worse), runs into a very peculiar scene: Shizun elegant but - oh my! - bloody robes, is being hold by another Shizun, wearing nice but cheap and very bloody robes, a dagger in his other hand. Oh my oh my, what happened here?!
Elegant-Shizun looks quite dead, so let’s call the other alive-Shizun. Binghe is scared, sure, but he notices he doesn’t care about the lifeless body. About time that bitch kicked the bucket! Shizun who?! Ptui! Just a powerful man wanting to feel better about himself by exploiting the weak! Just like the terrible people back in his village!
There’s just the little detail that there’s seems to be a Shizun too many.
Oh my oh my, what happened here indeed!
Count me as scared and intrigued! (not horny, definitely not horny) Binghe thinks, because he’s avant-gard! [I write these things with no alcohol or funny substances in me, I’m very proud of myself! Though my friends used to say that my body itself produces the drugs that enter my system]
Alive-Shizun notices him and in his eyes there’s a glint of recognition. The man smiles kindly. “Fear not, Binghe, for I’m not your enemy”
He knows his name! Stranger danger! But he killed the evil Shizun? He cannot be so bad!
At this point Shen Yuan presents himself to Binghe (while fanboying inside because LUO BINGHE! WHITE LOTUS LUO BINGHE!), outline his and Shen Jiu’s past, says he will save Binghe from his destiny yadda yadda. [Not sooo sure how this section of the narrative would go, this is just a thing I’m writing down to remember all the ideas I thought about. Will a proper story ever see the light? If the God of Fanfiction will bless me, maybe], but long story short, Shen Yuan convinces Binghe to help him hide the truth (and the body), as he will pose as Shen Qingqiu from now on. No worries about his change of character, Qi Deviations happen (so good that Shen Yuan’s spiritual veins got ruined along the way, keeps the narrative strong!) and conveniently may erase memories, right Mu-shidi? No, this master has not forgotten everything, he knows his martial family and his disciple and the main events of his life, but more like as if he read about them in a book than actually living them, and there some holes here and there. But, oh!, he remembers being quite nasty on more than one occasion though, and he’s very sorry about that!
Mu Qingfang’s smile is so strained his cheeks are sure hurting, while Qi-ge looks one step away from qi deviating himself, but they nonetheless reassure him that everything is okay, whether he remembers or not, as long as he is okay now, they will work on them his memories. And if they won’t come back… well that’s unlucky but I’ve got a whole eternity in front of me, who has time to be depressed about what is lost? Let us make new memories! - he cheerfully informs them. Yue Qingyuan faints.
In a corner, Binghe grins entertained.
This White Lotus, does he not seems too vicious? He is, he is! If you could hear what he hears, you would know of the velvet voice in his head; if could see through his eyes, from time to time, when the voice feels in need of a bit of an outlet, in the mirrors you could see an older Binghe, with a bright scarlet sigil on his forehead. But if you could meet Binghe at night, you would encounter someone completely different - that you, Bingge? A round of applause for the man with thousands of wife and not a joy in his sculpted body! (Theirs is a situation kind of Jekyll and Mr Hide, though the shape won’t change, just who’s in control). This man from the future helped his younger self, told him about the terrible things Shen Qingqiu did and will do, how rotten this man is, how he deserves all the pain of this life and the next.
Curious then, the raw scream Binghe heard in his head when he first saw dead Shizun, victorious but also pained, though he’s sure that if he brought it up Bingge would say it was anger, he, they, should be the ones bringing every Shen Jiu to his demise! Sure gege, sure.
Binghe’s new Shizun, his true Shizun as he likes to call him making the man smile, is a marvel and he’s kind and dotes on his disciple so much. Bingge boils in envy until this kindness is extended to him as well, the kind Shizun recognising a different soul in his beloved little shit sheep. “Not even being turned into a limbless body could make me hate you” Shen Yuan says as he pats Bingge hair and the half-demon understands: this man knows, somehow he knows. He’s not a reincarnation of Shen Jiu from his world, neither his wandering ghost, he just knows and he doesn’t care, about all the blood he’s spilled, sinners and innocents the same. He brought chaos and destruction, full of regrets, pain, he’s broken. But Shen Yuan pats his head and doesn’t dismiss his existence, doesn’t try to exorcise him (he wouldn’t be able but still, the thought counts!), this Shizun showers both him and his younger counter part with unconditioned love?! What witchery is this?!
Binghe seethes with jealousy: Shen Yuan is supposed to be his Shizun, umpf! Like proper siblings, they bicker a lot from then on when it comes to who has more claim on Shizun! Harmony is reached for the well being of Shizun <3 and especially when Liu Qingge starts to appear more and more on the peak. If it was to kneel in front of Shizun to thank him everyday for saving his life they would praise him, but this shameless man doesn’t know his limits! This Brute should stay on his Brutes Peak and that’s it!
And who’s this plain guy going to and forth from Shizun’s house lately? Oh, wait. Shizun’s whacking his head with his fan again, good good. But. But! Shizun never let them stay in the Bamboo house whenever this Shang guy comes! Shizuuuuun!
The first time the man came to visit, he silently looked at this Shizun for a very, long, awkward time and than said just one word: Airplane. Shizun almost spat his tea (he actually did, but the Luo “brothers” are going to forever protect his dignity). What the hell is an airplane?!
After few weeks, Shang-guy starts coming every.fucking.single.day. Binghe and Bingge are this close to give him the Shen Jiu treatment but their Shizun placate them, with a promise or another (not even one went broken; their Shizun is the best <3).
After a month nothing changed. Well, unless you notice one less Shang going around Cang Qiong mountain (but just some An Ding disciples ever noticed there were two, a plain set of twins, to tell the truth). Everything goes much smoother though, this everyone becomes aware off. And Shang Qinghua doesn’t give off rat vibes anymore, he feels more like an overworked hamster. The Peak Lords look at the unsightly (but recently often together) pair of Shen Qingqiu and Shan Qinghua quietly talking to each other and shrug it off: if the whole Sect benefits from it, no one should think too much about going to the root of it. AND the demon lord of the North Region asked for a peace treat??? The Sect is confusion; the lost look that Yue Qingyuan gives to his second in command makes Shen Yuan burst in laughter in front of everyone. But Shixiong, is it not an event who shall be rejoyced? You should smile as well!
The only one who caught some words of the whispered conversation was Luo Binghe who dutifully later transcribed them in his notebook “Shizun’s code” (he’s sure he will decipher it one day). It went as follows:
SQH: Broooo, so much more paperwork! Double paperwork! I swear, I’m going to die!
SHIZUN <3: Is it not worth it, though?
SQH: Oh sure, didi dearest didn’t pass the vibe test
SHIZUN <3: The bitch was empty
SQH: Rightfully yeeted out of the Mountain and of life
BOTH: Good riddance
SQH: Say, bro, would you like to hear the story of Tianlang-jun? I think the Bing Bros should stay as well this time
Under the roof of the Bamboo House, drink tea the Imposters Imperceptible.
(No, Shang Qinghua didn’t avoid the fan whacking once the whole truth was out. The Bing Bros are not sure why Shizun is taking out his anger on his friend but he’s wise and surely has his reasons <3).
{Hi everyone! Long time no see! I finally had some free days, which mean enough time to recharge my writer energy juice. I haven’t abandoned my other works, especially the BNHA myths AU, but work truly sucks out all my life force. Still, Tumblr is a magical place where even a forgotten, old something can suddenly see light again, so thank you so much for all the likes and reblogs! They make me so happy (and a bit teary) <3}

You know who I haven't seen in a hot minute; The Midnight Tricksters Triplets.
You know what, you're right
Have this small part of an RP I have with @elianaroselight. It takes place right after the kits were born
Word count: 4000
At Yue Shi's house, both monkey and fox woke up to the little newborns crying.
Feng yipped softly to calm down her crying kits.
"I think the little ones are hungry." She said softly, sitting up and carefully pulling her top off so she could feed them. She fed Lin first while Yue Shi tried to calm down the other two crying babies. Yan had left to get some water and returned to find his dad with Bao and Shu in his arms, cooing softly as he tried to calm them down.
"Oh. I see you aren't the only ones in need of food" the human joked lightly. The new voice made the kits cry again and he winced.
"Sorry" He said softly before heading back for the door to not scare his siblings anymore.
"It's okay, Yan" Yue Shi tried to tell him, but the teen didn't hear his dad from over the crying, continuing to leave and closing the door behind him quickly.
The monkey frowned "Feng, can I leave you with the kits for a minute?" he asked while he set down the two babies next to his mate. "Take care of him." She says softly.
He made sure that the babies were secure on the bed before he walked out of the room, calling for his son. Yan came up to the door of his room, seeming to wipe a tear away "Y-yes?" His dad frowned softly and gently rubbed his shoulders
"Yan, bud, what's wrong?"
"Oh. Nothing. Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be helping your kids?"
"And aren't you one of my kids?" Yue Shi asked with a raised eyebrow, making the boy pause and look away, blushing in embarrassment at having forgotten that part.
He sighs. "I am just sad that I accidentally made them cry…"
"It's okay, kid. They are little and very hungry. I'm sure that a butterfly would scare them at the moment" his father said in a reassuring tone. The mental image made Yan laugh softly, and Yue Shi's heart felt just a little less heavy.
"Why don't you go keep your mom company while I make us some food?"
"I… Um… I already made some. I left some for you and mom when I went into the kitchen.
"Oh, that's good! Thank you, Yan. Then go back to bed and I'll be back with the food"
The teen nodded and headed for his parents' room. Feng yipped for him when she saw him next to the door. Yan paused and took a deep breath before walking in, trying to remain quiet so he wouldn't disturb his siblings again. Feng was feeding Shu now, and the other two kits sniffed the teen curiously
"Hi, kit. Did you sleep well?" the hulijing asked with a small smile.
"Yeah. A bit."
His brothers yipped softly, confused by the new presence. He smiles softly and reached out to pet them, making Bao squeak at the touch. But after sniffing the hand, he leaned into it. Yan chuckled softly and kissed his head sweetly. "Hi. I'm your gege"
The black kit yipped back at him, and Lin soon started to follow him, yipping just as loudly.
"You sure like yipping, don't you?" Yan chuckled, now petting both of his little brothers.
"I doubt they can do anything else" the fox said.
"I guess that's true. Is it okay if I held one?"
"Of course, kit! Why don't you move Bao to me? It's his turn to eat now"
He nods and carefully handed Bao to his mother before taking Shu and Lin into his arms. Both kits look up at him. Lin yawned after a moment and settled down to sleep again, the adorable action making the human smile slightly and kiss his head.
"Such a good big brother" Feng cooed at him.
Yan blushes but ignored her out of embarrassment. He focused on his little sister instead, rocking her gently. Shu yawned, she stretched her little bicolored paws up before she curled up in his arms.
Feng watched them with a chuckle "We need to dress them next time they wake up"
"They are going to look adorable with the onesies we bought"
"I know" she agreed softly as Bao finished eating "Everything they do is adorable already"
Yue Shi came in with their breakfast and chuckled when he saw his sleeping kits "Already asleep? That was faster than I imagined" Yan nods and smiles softly.
"Here, I'll set the food on the bed so you can eat it while keeping your siblings" his father said as he sat next to his mate.
"You might need to take at least one or I won't be able to do anything else" Yan chuckled.
"You're right" Yue Shi cooed as he got Lin in his arms. The little kit protested with soft squeaks, but his dad's purrs and coos calmed him down quickly. The little bundle settled in his arms after a while, fully curling up in the monkey's arms.
Feng smiled "I can't believe they are here already…" She said softly.
"Neither can I" Yue Shi cooed "They are so small…"
"Yes, they are."
The lunar demon settled next to his mate and nuzzled Feng "Did you sleep well?"
"Yes. I was out like a light. How did you sleep?"
"Good. I didn't realize how tired I was last night until I fell asleep"
She chuckles. "I think all of us were exhausted"
He nods and nuzzled her gently "You did great. Our babies are all healthy"
"Thank you. And thank you for all your help. I would have struggled so much more if I was alone"
"You're welcome, my thief"
The fox smiled warmly before she looks over at Yan "Thank you for all of your help as well. You are a good kid and the best son I could have ever asked for"
The teen blushed softly as he gave her a shy smile "Thanks. And you are the best mom"
As simple as the words were, they made Feng tear up slightly. To hear him call her his mom was something she was still struggling to deal with, but to know he considered her a good mom too just made her heart feel warmer. She pulls him close, careful of the babies.
"Thank you"
"Moooommm" he protested slightly when she started to lick him "You have the babies to clean now!"
"But you are my baby too!" the fox joked.
Yan whined more, making Yue Shi chuckle "Maybe eat your food first before you try to lick him again, Feng"
"Alright, fine." She smirks and lets him go, eating her food.
"Should we give them a bath?" the human asked after a moment.
"Hmm… Probably. I need one too." Feng said.
"Then, why don't you all have a bath together?" Yue Shi proposed. Feng hums. "Yan, would you be willing to pick out their clothes and be ready to dress them once they leave the tub?" She asks, hoping to give him a way to be part of this without coming into the bathroom and seeing her naked.
"Sure. I'm going to dress you in the sillies little outfit I can find" he cooed to his siblings who looked at him confused, unable to understand any of his words.
She shook her head, smiling in amusement. "Go pick the onesies out while your dad helps me to the bathroom"
He nods and pets Shu's head when she woke up "Let's go get you some clothes"
The kit yips softly, snuggling close as they walked out. Yue Shi watched them go with a chuckle "Let's put our boys on the bed so I can help you get up"
Feng nods and sets Bao down in a small nest Yue Shi made to hold them.
"We will be right back, my treasures" she kissed both of their heads before her mate lifted her up and brought her to the bathroom. She sat comfortably in the tub and relaxed more when Yue Shi started to pour the warm water. She winced when she tried to move to sit down a bit straighter, her body feeling extremely sore.
"Zan said that you will be sore for a while" Yue Shi said softly as he started to wash her "You should still try to walk, at least for a little bit"
"I can walk out to the living room to visit with family" Feng said with a small nod
"Just don't push yourself" he told her softly as he run water over her head.
"I won't." She smiles. "you won't let me."
"I won't" he said grinning.
Not too long after, Yan walked by the bathroom and showed them the little pineapple themed onesie Shu was wearing
"She's just a yellow baby now!"
"Adorable. Did you bathe her already?"
He looked at his mother in silence for a moment "I forgot about that…"
Feng chuckled "It's alright. Why don't you take the onesie off and we will wash her up first so you can put it back on right away"
He nods and carefully took the clothes away before he handed her to his dad "I'll go get Bao and Lin then" he said before leaving the other two little onesies on the sink.
Feng yips for her baby and holds her close as she washes her gently "My baby girl"
Shu yipped back quite loudly as her little tail wagged, splashing water everywhere. The hulijing laughed softly and laid the kit on her chest. "Yes, you are.
Yue Shi chuckled as the kit nuzzled her mother's chest, earning a kiss on the head "So happy"
Yan walked in with his two brothers as his dad cooed "And there are our baby boys"
Feng smiles, tail wagging "All of them." She purred happily. The human rolled his eyes as Lin was handed to Yue Shi. Feng instinctually reached out for her youngest baby, but Yue Shi stopped before handing him to her.
"Can you hold and bathe them both?" he asked.
"…. Fair point. I just wanted to cuddle them…" She admits before going back to wash Shu. The black monkey chuckled as he started to wash Lin "Yan? Do you need help with washing Bao?"
"He is doing well. Just playing with the water"
The kit was happily splashing water as he babbled, not a care as his brother tried to clean him
"Okay. Make sure that the water doesn't go in his ears and eyes"
"I am. He sure is talkative though"
"He is. What are you saying, baby?" Feng cooed at the kit, getting his attention, making him squeak happily and babble at her. She nodded with a serious expression that made Yan giggle"Yes, that is a very important topic"
Shu begins to babble back at her brother after a moment, starting up an intense and heated conversation while Lin looked at them confused. Feng grins happily while Yue Shi chuckles. "Alright you two. Save the discussion for later"
"Let them talk, love. It must be important" the fox joked.
He rolls his eyes and looked at Lin "Yeah. I don't know either, cub" It was the others' turn to chuckle as he switched kits with Feng so that Shu could be dried on one of the towels he had prepared earlier. Feng bathed Lin gently as the kit looked at her with big eyes.
"Hello, Lin. My quiet boy"
He pawed at her face with a soft chirp, earning a small smile from his mother. She nuzzled him sweetly as she yipped back softly. The sound made the little one smile and he responded with happy yips.
"Looks like he can be quite loud too" Yue Shi joked
"Seems that he can, but usually isn't. He has your eyes though. I wonder if he will be incredibly observant"
"Quite but observant, that would be pretty much what I was when I was a kid"
"I think you will end up sharing a fair bit of similarities." She predicts with a warm smile, petting Lin's face.
"If that's the case, I wonder who's going to be more like you: Shu or Bao"
She hums. "I'm tempted to say Shu is, and Bao is like a mix of us. We may also be completely wrong"
At his name, Bao looked at them confused, cooing softly. Feng chuckled at his adorable face "Hello, my hyper boy. Did you hear your name?"
He babbled at her with a mix of yips in his form of yes. "I see. That is a good point. Are you enjoying the water?"
He happily pawed at the water while Yan was trying to rinse the soap out of his fur, making his mother giggle.
"I see. You are going to be the one who gets dirty often, aren't you?"
"He's so wiggly" the human said with a laugh as he lifted him out of the water completely wet.
"Like a worm or a snake?" Feng joked.
"Like a wet rat!"
She cracks up, tail wagging in happy amusement. Bao babbled again, confused by why his mom was laughing, but enjoying it all together. "I think it's time to dry him off, Yan" his dad said with a chuckle. Yan nods and immediately does so, setting him on another towel, before dressing him. Once the kit was ready, he turned around to show off the grape themed outfit to his parents "Isn't he cute?"
Feng smiled "Yes he is. Your grandpas are going to lose it at these outfits"
He giggled and fixed Bao to hold him better "Is Lin done yet?"
"Yes. Is Shu dressed as well?
"Not yet. Can you stay here for a moment, buddy?" he sat down his brother on the baby changer and picked up Shu, who didn't move at all from her place, content with staying in her little towel cocoon. Yan giggled at her squeak when he took her out of her warm space to dress her in the little pineapple onesie.
"What outfit did you get for Lin?" Yue Shi asked once his son was done.
"I have a pitaya one!" He proudly said with a grin.
Feng laughs softly "We need a picture of them. They are one fruit bunch"
"Do you have a shirt with fruits on it too? You can pose with them"
She shakes her head with a slightly sad smile "No, unfortunately"
"Oh, well. You can still hold them while we take a picture"
"Well, I'm going to need to get dressed for that. But I can't do that right now"
"I can dress Lin and bring them back to the bedroom" her son said, already reaching out for his last brother. Feng nodded and Yue Shi handed his youngest son to the teen. Yan quickly dressed him in his new outfit before cooing over him with a baby voice "Look at you, little fruity baby"
The silly sound made Lin smiles adorably at his gege.
"Can you bring them all three to the bed or do you want my help, bud?"
"I would have to come back for one, so I need a bit of help"
"Alright. I'll be right back, my thief" he reassured Feng with a kiss before he went to hold his two baby sons and followed Yan into the master bedroom. The human made sure that the nest was still comfortable for his siblings before he set Shu down in it. When her brothers were set down too, she started to chew on Bao's ears, making the black kit squeak in surprise. Yan laughed softly as Yue Shi smiled before leaving to get his mate a dress.
"Make sure they don't get hurt" he told his oldest son before he went back to the bathroom.
Feng looks at her mate sweetly when she heard him walk in.
"The kits are already roughhousing" the lunar monkey said chuckling as he helped her up.
"They are born from the two most trickster-like creatures" she pointed out, carefully lifting her legs, going slow to make sure not to suffer from her soreness too much.
"You're right, and with Yan's influence, I doubt they will get any better"
"He is our son"
He chuckled as he helped her dry off "That's true. Do you think you can walk to the bed?"
"Yeah. Let me get dressed first. I don't want to flash our son" He nodded and helped her put her clothes back on before he offered his arm to hold on to. Feng takes it and walks over to the bed, limping a fair bit and groaning softly
"Oh boy, does that hurt"
Yue Shi winced sympathetically "I know, but you need to move at least a little bit"
"And I get that. I just felt like complaining"
He chuckled as they neared their room "Then complain all you want"
She smiles and looked at her fruit kits "Hello, my precious"
The babies all started to yip at her voice and crawled to the edge of the nest, trying to get to their mother.
"You all want mama? Alright, just wait a moment. Yue Shi, was the bedding changed?"
"Not yet. Think you can stand still with one of the kits in your arms while I do that?"
She nods and reached out to get one of the wiggly babies.
"Yan, can you hold the other kit then?" Yue Shi asked as he moved Bao and Lin into Feng's arms. His son nods and holds his sister close, purr-humming as he watched her. Yue Shi changed the sheets as quickly as he could and re-made the nest before he helped his mate to lay down on it. The hulijing purred happily, comfortably, and relaxed as she cuddled her kits close. Yan climbed onto the bed too and snuggled up to her with Shu.
A few minutes later, a knock came from the front door and Yue Shi went to open it to find Zan. The lunar monkey smiled at his youngest sister "Hey. Come in. Are you here to check on Feng and the kits?"
The pink demon nodded as she followed the other monkey inside
"How are they doing?"
"Really good. Feng is quite sore, but she was able to feed the kits well and they are already roughhousing"
Zan laughed "Oh, they are going to give you so much trouble" she said teasingly
"I don't doubt it. Bao and Shu are already talkative too."
They walked into the room to find Shu babbling to Yan again while Feng watched them with a soft smile, petting her sons.
"You weren't kidding." She said to her brother with a chuckle before coming closer to the bed, careful to not enter the nest. The boys look up at her and Lin immediately moved to hide behind his mom with soft scared noises. Yue Shi cooed softly as he tried to calm down his son "it's alright. This is my sister. She helped mama" Bao sniffed at her hand when Zan tried to show that she wouldn't do anything, while Shu quickly crawled to her and started to yell in what had to be a threatening way, for the little kit at least. Feng watched amused "Shu? You don't have to worry about her. She won't hurt us"
The kit huffed but listened to her mother and stopped her angry babble. Her stare didn't stop as she looked at the pink demon intensely. Feng yipped for Lin to come out, looking at where he disappeared. He was hiding behind her head and his little muzzle poked a bit when she called for him
"How in the world did you get up there?" She laughs softly
"He's a silent and fast little one" Yue Shi says with a smile as his mate carefully grabs him, holding him close. Lin made soft noises as he snuggled back up to her, still sanding somewhat scared.
"While you calm that baby, let's see how this one is doing" Zan carefully held up Shu in her arms and started to check her over. Feng handed Bao to Yan so she could focus on her scared little boy. Shu mostly made indignant sounds as she was looked over before Zan set her back down on the nest.
"Such a feisty personality at only a few hours old" Zan said with a smile
"She's going to be a troublemaker, I can tell" Feng said chuckling while Yan held out Bao to the pink demon.
"I agree with that"
The little black kit babbled curious as the monkey looked him over. He tried to paw at her face any time she got close to him. He managed to grab her nose and Zan chuckled
"You love talking, don't you?" She joked
"He's been talking since he woke up" Yue Shi said as his sister patted Bao's belly, making him squeak. He tried to grab her hand in retaliation but Zan handed him back to Yan before he could.
"So social and curious. You have a little explorer on deck too. May I see Lin?"
"It's okay, baby. I'm here" Feng held out her last son to the monkey, and the little kit whined softly, looking back at his mother. Zan cooed softly, trying to comfort him "It's alright. I'm just looking"
He whined more as he was moved, but he mostly stayed limp in her hands.
"Such a sweet boy." She says as she hands him back to Feng.
"He's quiet too. He only really talked when I called for him" she set him back down on her chest and the kit snuggled up to her head, curling under her chin.
"He was like that in the womb too, huh?
"Yes. He barely moved…"
Zan nodded and smiled, rubbing Feng's shoulder reassuringly "He is healthy, even if smaller. How are you doing, mama?"
"Still tired. Very sore, but extremely happy"
"Good! Sadly the tiredness will hang out some due to having babies"
"I imagined. But I have my boys to help me" she said sweetly, looking up at Yue Shi
"Anything else we need to do?" the lunar demon asked as he picked up Shu before she could wander off.
"I might be able to get some formula for you to use to help feed them. That is a lot for Feng to feed"
"And they bite too" the fox said chuckling "They already have teeth. Very little, but still"
"Exactly. It will allow Yue Shi and Yan to help feed them"
"Thank you" her brother said softly "Before you go, can you take a picture of us? I'm sure the family is dying to know what the kits look like"
Zan laughed wholeheartedly and took her brother's phone "Sure! Are you going to let anyone over today?"
"No. To be honest, I'll probably fall asleep once you're gone" Feng answered in her mate's place
"Valid. Rest up. No pressure" She says sweetly before taking the picture and handing the phone back. The lunar demon thanked her as she left the room before helping his mate settle down with her kits. Feng smiled softly at her partner before sighing and resting, falling asleep almost immediately. Her children snuggled up to her and were asleep in a matter of minutes after quite a few yawns.
Yue Shi smiles softly at the scene. "Are you going to sleep with them, dad?" Yan asked softly to not wake up his family
"No. Not right now. Are you?" He asked back, petting his head.
"I don't know. I don't feel tired, but I don't want to leave mom"
"That's okay. Do you want me to get you a book to read?"
"Yes. Thank you" he smiled slightly as the monkey headed for his room before he settled next to Feng. Yue Shi went back into his bedroom to find Shu had moved to lay between her mother and Yan, and the teen was petting her head gently.
"Seems she has a favorite brother" he chuckled
"Yeah…" Yan smiled softly before taking the book his dad was offering and made sure he wouldn't disturb his little sister before he started reading.

So I've had this picture just sitting and staring at me recently so I've decided to finish it!😄
Tumblr media
And now for the fic!
TW- bullying, wounds, cuteness that doctors says may cause diabetes, mentions of temporary character death (you know the character 🤣)
Little noses twitch as the grass sways in the breeze, long ears are laid back to show their relaxation but something causes the rabbits to startle and run to find a hiding place.
A little boy in the Gusu lan robes was on his way to visit the house near the rabbits, he normally isn't allowed to go by himself but he really missed the man in the building.
A-yuan was quietly smiling to himself as he headed toward the little house that housed his father. The little boy preferred to be with the older man since most kids his age would tease him for being an illegitimate child to the famous Hanguang-Jun, the Lan Wangji. The little 6 year old didn't fully understand what that all meant but it hurt so much because it made him think that he was never truly welcomed among his classmates or family.
Little a-yuan sees the house in the distance and couldn't stop himself from running the rest of the way to the wooden building, his safe haven.
Lan Wangji was sitting carefully on the porch with his Guqin, playing a sad melody for his beloved one who can not hear it.
"Baba!" A-yuan called out as he walked up to the porch, "Hi, baba!"
"Mm." The soft reply came, his father was mourning but even then he still tried to show that he loved a-yuan.
"I am all done with school." Now that the little boy was in front of his father he was a little bit more quiet, "Baba's gege says I got high scores on writing." The boy was excited to tell his father about his day but he was also careful not to be loud.
Lan Wangji looked at the boy with an affectionate gaze, even though the boy was not his he still felt the need to show this child the love that he was not given when he was a child. This little 6 year old was the last thing Wei Ying left for him and he refused to fail Wei Ying again.
"What were you playing baba?" A-yuan asked with a tilt of his head now that he was done going on about his day and everything else that had happened, "Can I listen?"
Not many things made the great Lan Wangji tear up but the way this tiny child had so many qualities of Wei Ying without remembering who the demonic cultivator was just caused the mourning man's heart to shake.
"What do you wish to hear?" With those words also came the silent invitation for A-yuan to sit on his fathers lap, which the little boy instantly did.
"I wanna listen to what baba wants to play." A-yuan made sure to be careful as he got comfortable in the wounded mans lap.
That was how the two enjoyed the rest of their afternoon. Pretty soon A-yuan had to go.
"I promise to come back tomorrow baba. I'll bring you a treat too." A-yuan grinned at his father from where he stood at the bottom of the steps.
"Mn. Tomorrow."
With hearing the agreement the little boy began walking back the way he had come a few hours prior. A-yuan knew this path quite well since it is the path that he has taken everyday since he arrived at Gusu, which also meant it was easy to find the child.
When the child got to the edge of where the rabbits were when he heard laughter, he knew the laughter since he had heard it so often from behind him when he was in class.
The boys were all much older than a-yuan since most of them were just beginning to cultivate a golden core. A-yuan liked to learn so he was smarter than most kids his age which meant that he was with older kids, the 6 year old wasn't able to write or read the bigger words but when it's read to him he understood exactly what everything was. Lan Wangji believed that it was because of who he was with at the beginning of his life that caused him to be so intelligent but with the lack of books for education it was why he wasn't able to read as much as kids his own age.
"Do you want to hear what my niáng says? Hanguang-Jun only took the boy in since his mother was from one of those houses, that's why no one knows who she is." One boy says from behind a-yuan.
"My a-die says that the elders don't approve of taking in this street rat." Another boy giggles.
A-yuan kept walking but then the little boy was pushed, "ow!" Was the only word that the little boy said but it was enough to make the group of boys laugh at him.
"What? Can't handle a little dirt?"
A-yuan slowly stood up and tried to dust off the dirt and grass stains but before he could begin to clean himself off the boys began to push him around their circle, laughing the whole time.
The boys pushed him but as they pushed him they would pinch him and flick his forehead with the little spiritual force they had. A-yuan cried as he tried to get away from the circle, his cries slowly grew louder when the pinching started to go from fingers to using nails.
"Hey!" It was an adult voice that seemed to scare the boys into stopping.
A-yuan began to fall but then he felt strong arms catch him and pull him into a strong chest. The little boy slowly opens his eyes to see his father holding him while glaring at the group of boys, "baba...?"
A comforting hand was on A-yuan's back to tell him that he was safe. The little boy knew that he was safe even without his father having to put his hand there but that was the thing that caused the boy to begin to sob loudly.
It was almost like the parents knew what had happened since they were there within seconds to grab their children and apologize to Hanguang-Jun.
"Not me." Lan Wangji shakes his head as he motions toward the crying child in his arms. The man was comforting A-yuan the best he could.
"Oh. Of course. We sincerely apologize to lan yuan." The parents bow deeply and force their children to do the same, "we will make sure they do handstands." Then the parents were scrambling away with their children trapped in an angry hold.
Lan Wangji sighs to let out the tension he had and looks at his son, "baobei...hush now." He says gently as he turns so he can begin the walk back toward the building he was using to heal. Lan Wangji was refused to be in the Jingshi to heal since it was to far from the healers so Lan Xichen put him in a temporary room to help with the healing, his older brother also knew that Lan Wangji needed the slight seclusion to mourn but it was also near the rabbits so his brother could watch the rabbits whenever he needed.
"Sorry baba!" A-yuan sobs into his father's shoulder, he never wanted to tell his father about the bullying because the 6 year old thought he could handle it but he also didn't want to be anymore of a burden to his father.
"No need. I am not angry nor will I punish you." Lan Wangji opens the door to his house and walks in, "Would baobei like to stay here for the night?" As he asked this he began to help the child out of his clothes and into the warm bath that was there. Lan Wangji was supposed to clean his wounds every day but the warm water agitated the marks so he would go to the cold springs to bathe.
Pretty soon A-yuan relaxed in the warm water, "Baba wants A-yuan to stay?" The little boy stares up at the older man with his big puffy eyes.
"Mn. Would love for a-yuan to spend the night." Lan Wangji softly confirms as he begins to help the child bathe, making a mental note to have the tiny boys dinner and some clothing sent over.
"Baba....baba wants to keep a-yuan around?"
"Mn."
Then the sweet and innocent grin lit up the little boy's features, "Ok! I'll stay with baba tonight."
After Lan Wangji made sure the boy had no open wounds and was thoroughly cleaned did he flag a passing junior down to get lan yuan clothing and to bring their food. A-yuan was wrapped up in Lan Wangji's towel which was far too large for the little boy so he was practically swimming in it, but he was happy and warm.
When the two were ready for bed that night a-yuan snuggled into his father's side, "thank you baba."
"Mn. Now sleep."
And for the first time in a long time the two slept soundly with no threats of nightmares or pain because they had each other and that is what helped them survive.
Years down the line when Wei Wuxian is revived, Lan Xichen would tell of how he found his brother asleep with the little a-yuan.
So when the nightmares were too much for the teenager, he would go to both of his fathers, after making sure to knock very very loudly, and he would be snuggled between the two knowing that no one can hurt him or his father.

On the third finger of his left hand was a very thin red string, and it was Hua Cheng who had personally tied it on him. This red string also extended out, long and ceaselessly connecting with the red string knotted around Hua Cheng’s finger.
Hua Cheng raised his own hand and showed him the tiny red butterfly knot that was now identical on both their fingers. He smiled.
“Now we’re joined together.
HE TOOK FATE IN HIS OWN HANDS AND CHOSE HIS OWN SOULMATE OH MY GOD DJXJXJCJXJNC
But then, to crush my spirits....
This string won’t break, and won’t grow shorter. If the string doesn’t break, then it means the person on the other end is alright. Unless the person is no more, otherwise, this string will for sure lead to the other.”
“What do you mean ‘no more’?” Xie Lian asked.
“Dead, or dissipated,” Hua Cheng explained
I dunno why but I don't like the implications of this....Hua Cheng MY BOI MY PAL I SAW FANART OF YOU BECOMING A LITTLE GHOST OR SMT I DUNNO U BETTER NOT BREAK THIS STRING DONT U DARE MAKE THIS FORSHADOWING
Heheheh live reaction of me reading this section:
Tumblr media
Just then, a hand suddenly stretched out, seizing his wrist without fault. Xie Lian was alarmed.
“WHO?!”
The moment he opened his mouth it was filled with a mouthful of mud, and he spat it out miserably. As for that hand, it clutched him and pulled, pulling him into someone’s arms, a familiar voice coming from above his head.
“Gege, it’s me!”
Hearing that voice, Xie Lian’s entire person relaxed. He hugged the other tightly, blurting,
“…Thank goodness, the red string didn’t break. I really did find you!”
Hua Cheng also embraced him back tightly, speaking with conviction, “It didn’t break! I’ve found you too.”

Ok FUN TIMES ARE OVER NOW GOODBYE CUTESY STUFF WELCOME DREADFUL AND TRAGIC STUFF
Me reading Yin Yu and Qi Ying's story:
Tumblr media
So first of all, BABY QI YING IS SO DAMN CUTE?? AND FOR WHAT????? all like YA LETS FIGHT!! and he's raising his itty bitty cutie patootie little fists and he's acc so adorable oh my god
Yin Yu took a look at the child sitting on the ground, and he crouched down. Before he even opened his mouth, this little child scooped a handful of mud and threw it at his face, his expression still excited.
Ok, this line deserves a whole essay
There must be “fanaticism” towards something before one can achieve a state of “godly”.
Like that absolute truth of the matter?? The obsession one has with anything makes them go into such nitty gritty details and observe patterns that others would overlook simply on account of FANATICISM, yknow? And it's so explicitly seen in everything from master chefs to world renowned artists to the most brilliant of scientists. Truly to be a master, you must have a madness and obsession for the craft first.
Truly one of my favorite lines in the book so far
Haha when I read this part, I had a mental image of Xie Lian and Hua Cheng sitting in a theater eating popcorn and Xie Lian is like ohhhhhh can we watch this part too lmao
Watching up to this point, Xie Lian commented, “People really shouldn’t joke lightly.”
“Indeed,” Hua Cheng said. “Half a year later when Quan Yizhen actually ascends, he won’t find it so funny anymore.”
“Can we watch that part too?” Xie Lian asked.
“We can. Hold on,” Hua Cheng replied.
This was kinda cute but I guess knowing everything now, just kinda sad...
Xie Lian had also heard that Yin Yu, as shixiong, would always gift Quan Yizhen a present on his birthdays.
ABSOLUTE MOOD JIAN YU LMAOOOOO
He called out to Jian Yu, “Help me find something, quick, something that can temporarily be used as a gift.”
Jian Yu grabbed a rag cloth and threw it onto the ground. He stomped at it twice before saying hatefully, “Give this to him."
Ok but I'm seeing such a contrasting yet parallel relationship between beefleaf and Qi Ying and Yin Yu. I will probably talk about that more next time because it's a lot lol but like this is such an excellent example of it (that I will explain later lmao)
Yin Yu’s smile became stiffer. What he couldn’t take on, Quan Yizhen took on so effortlessly.
This was very much like a situation where you just couldn’t win over a girl you loved, and she ignored you completely, but when she ran into the arms of someone else in tears, this someone else couldn’t even be bothered to spare her a look and instead turned around to tell you how she was only average, nothing to be amazed by. Truly, what a bitter feeling.
God yes I truly understood exactly how Xie Lian felt because it was so agonizing and awkward to watch everything go down between the oblivious Qi Ying and the slowly maddening Yin Yu....
And like the part where he tells him GO DIE and everything that happened after and the instant regret and broken feeling Yin Yu went through and just he gave and gave and gave and gave and got nothing while Qi Ying got everything and more and frustration of watching him act like nothing happened because suddenly it makes YOU look like you're the jerk and that youre just being over dramatic and the absolute hate that started festering simply on account of outside influence from the other disciples and later on, the heavenly court (or maybe outside influence was just an excuse and the problem lay dormant within) and to have your hubris and jealousy and pride ruin what was good or so you thought and suddenly you go back and think about all the past memories and it's like wait, was it ever good a-
Ok I'll stop lol
Quan Yizhen was still very confused. He looked back and saw Yin Yu sitting on the ground, so he crawled to stand up, seeming to want to help him up. Seeing that completely oblivious face matched with a background of his smashed divine palace, Yin Yu was still silent but his face was slowly contorting.
Quan Yizhen didn’t know what transpired at all, and asked, “Shixiong, what are you doing?”
“…”
It was like Yin Yu suddenly lost all sanity. He puffed an abrupt laugh, then shouted with eyes brimming red:
“GO DIE!”
I just... really feel for both parties, yknow? And back to classic statement I keep saying, who can u even blame? Whose at fault? Nothing is black and white here, it never was and never will be....
ALSO
I called it
I CALLED IT
I CALLED IT AND I FINALLY GOT SMT RIGHT FOR ONCE AND IM SO HAPPY BUT SO CONFUSED BUT SO HAPPY CUZ I GOT IT RIGHT HAHA I KNEW WE WOULD SEE MORE XIANLE PEEPS DJJXJC
He twitched his lips and muttered without a sound, “Guoshi?!”
The person on the other side of the stone wall had the exact same voice as the esteemed master who once taught him in the Kingdom of Xianle.
But also....WTF???? UMMM WHY IS HE HERE??? WHATS GOING ON???? IS MY WUYONG THEORY CORRECT??? I DONT EVEN KNOW WHICH ONE BUT IS IT CORRECT??? CUZ LIKE JUN W-
(Fineeee i won't speak of Jun Wu again, but like alsooooo he's sooooo a part of something I can't help it and I just don't know what it is AND ITS BOTHERING ME BEYOND WORDS)

the anon who asked about Megumi and Toji here, thank you so much for answering my question! I love your answers/posts with all that mental gymnastics and investigation, really!
I want to add something: Toji died in 2006, Megumi was even much younger the last time he saw Toji, so I understand if he doesn't remember everything about his father, especially if said father was absent. What made me think of 'repression/suppression' as you said, is the fact that he couldn't even "make the connection" with what happened in Shibuya, and we know Megumi is a smart boy. I mean ... he remembers that his father married Tsumiki's mother but it seems like he doesn't even remember his father's name? he can't make the connection between the name and the man who looks a lot like him? so I thought it could be somehing psychological? that's why I came to you with my question, to know your opinion about. I almost always see that Megumi's apparent disinterest in Toji is taken as a "normal" disinterest, and not as something deeper, with pain and anger behind it. thanks again!
P.S: the headcanon you brought up... it already hurt me to think about little Megumi, now even more.
P.S 2: sorry if there are mistakes, english isn't my language.
HEEEEEY anon! Welcome back. お帰り!
Thanks for the kind comments ;^; some times I do wonder if my mental gymnastics aren’t a bit on the deep end LOL, so I appreciate your comment a lot.
Man... all I'll say is that I'm glad I'm drinking coffee bahaha.
Put your thinking hat on because we either have a maths problem in the chronology of events or Gege has no clue about school-aged children.
Ok so... hear me out...
Regarding Toji dying in 2006, I've always wondered if that panel of baby Megumi looking all sad was Toji's last memory of him--it kind of feels like it.
It just didn't make sense in my head that it was the last time Toji saw him because Megumi looks younger than a 6 year old in the image.
Tumblr media
Again, I am going by this idea that Toji married Tsumiki's mom when Megumi was 6 years of age (or in the 1st grade). And it’s not like one can make assumptions about 2D characters and their age.
If we do the maths, per the manga, Gojo is a second year (16/17 years old) during the Hidden Inventory Arc. Which means the events in the arc took place approximately 12 years prior to 2018, or as you say, in 2006.
Tumblr media
(i.e. if Gojo is 28 in 2018, he would have been 16 in 2006)
Tumblr media
BUT... if we do the maths again, per the manga, Toji married Tsumiki's mom when Megumi was in 1st grade, which would have been around 2009 (i.e. if Megumi is 15 in 2018, he would have been 6 in 2009).
Wait... what?
Tumblr media
UNLESS, by 1st grade this is meant to be Kindergarten and not Primary/Elementary school? Which would have meant Megumi was 3 at the time, which would mean it was in fact in 2006 that Toji married Tsumiki’s mom.
Anon. either we just totally found a plot hole or I totally misinterpreted what "1st grade" is meant to entail.
It depends on whether the translators localized the text. So I went looking for Japanese raws (as I like to do in situations like these) aaaaaand.....
Tumblr media
Nope... it indeed says “when I was in 1st grade” (shou ichi no toki).
So I did some more digging aaaaaaand....
Tumblr media
According to romajidesu.com, it is a noun used for a first year elementary school student.
I also tried various google searches along the lines of “1st grade kindergarten Japan” but everything always came back to 1st grade = Primary/Elementary school.
Thoughts?
I have the feeling that since Gege revealed when Toji married Tsumiki's mom prior to starting the Hidden Inventory Arc, he probably did not think to double check his dates when he started the following arc.
It wouldn't be the first time he makes an honest mistake.
Maths aside...
Ya your train of thought makes a lot of sense!
If Megumi was indeed 3 when Toji abandoned him, then it would make all the more sense that Megumi does not remember him and we can just assume it’s because he was too young to create long-term memories about Toji (that hippocampus was still very much developing).
THIS TAKING PLACE IN 2006 WOULD EXPLAIN SO MANY THINGS TOO bahaha.
Also, I was totally thinking the same as you.
Like... Megumi, dude... you might as well be looking at your reflection in a mirror!
Tumblr media
I look a lot like my either of parents depending on who sees me, but it’s not like I'd be able to recognize myself in them.
Honestly, your ask sent me on a goose chase because I have always seen Megumi as someone who represses himself. Part of it is my personal interpretation of some of the panels, and part of it is because that’s what the Jungian shadow is partly about--a storehouse for repressed materials.
So from that perspective, in my head, it makes sense that Megumi would repress memories of Toji. Repression is baked into his character from how I see it, and he learned it from daddy.
But alas, we don’t know that with certainty because Gege has not made a somewhat canonical explicit statement about it.
Megumi’s disinterest in Toji
Yeeeees, totally. I’ve seen that perspective about how Megumi truly does not care about Toji. Evidence of it is considered to be Megumi canonically saying “I don’t care where he is or what he’s doing”.
Tumblr media
I may be contradicting myself here since I totally just wrote about what I consider to be canonical and how implied subtext is open to interpretation.
That said, my personal interpretation is very much based on real Psychological science:
From developmental research, I can tell you that a young child’s life completely revolves around their caregiver because it depends on them for EVERYTHING to survive in the world.
It isn’t until a child gets to be around school age (don’t quote me on the age, I could be wrong and I didn’t look it up this morning) that the child starts exploring relationships outside of the familial unit. This exploration of relationships outside of the familial unit becomes all the more obvious during the teen years.
So, honestly, it makes ZERO sense to me that Megumi might not have some sort of resentment or negative emotional associations to Toji since that period of time he might have spent with Toji is VERY formative emotionally and psychologically.
We’re talking about deep, archetypal emotional bonds and Developmental Psychology here. Needing to be looked after by our caregivers is baked into our human nature.
Consider how, from a Neuropsychological perspective, all of Megumi’s experiences with Toji were basically shaping his brain. And the only way Megumi would not care about Toji is if Megumi was truly unfeeling and unemotional since birth--in which case we would have a kid diagnosed with an antisocial personality disorder.
That’s also how you get a character like Tokyo Babylon’s Sakurazuka Seishiro shameless CLAMP namedrop, and Psychologically-speaking, even he is a conundrum.
But saying Megumi is, without a shadow of a doubt terrible pun intended, someone with antisocial personality disorder, is not an accurate assessment since Megumi is not without feelings or emotions. Quite the contrary, he’s shown to be very caring, compassionate and kind.
Tumblr media
While I can’t confirm that what I just wrote is exactly what Gege had in mind, Gege appears to be someone who has an acute understanding of Psychology. What’s more, Jungian Psychology, which appears to have influenced jjk, is not mainstream Psychological science and is instead considered a Depth Psychology because it looks below the surface at the possible root causes of surface level thoughts and behaviors.
All that to say that, again, I can’t imagine Gege truly meant for Megumi to be truly disinterested in Toji.
Psychologically it just doesn’t make sense.
Personal side note: I remember several years ago, one of my best friends’ dad died in a car accident.
The image of my friend sitting on the floor, wearing a weird smile on her face and holding a glass full of red wine early in the morning as she tells me “my dad just died in a car accident” is burned into my mind.
I think she was heartbroken but was not sure how to come to terms with his death.
Now. This man was not a part of her life and whenever she talked about him she often talked about him being physically abusive and an alcoholic.
I think my friend could pretend all day long that she didn’t care about him, but in the end, when it came down to it, she couldn’t help but care.
Human nature.
p.s. 1 about my headcanon
AH SORRY ANON!!!! bahaha. I am a certified Angst Merchant TM. I either seem to have a lot of unresolved grief or I just have access to a deep pool of collective human grief that I like exploring from time to time because I am also a certified masochist.
tbh I came up with the headcanon one day when I wanted to write a fanfic and I was trying to come up with ideas to write about. The image I kept seeing in my mind’s eye was Megumi sitting alone in an almost empty room, the sun going down, and Toji nowhere to be seen.
Again, going back to this idea that a child should be completely unfeeling in this kind of scenario just makes ZERO sense. Even if it’s a headcanon, if you felt something when my headcanon conjured that image in your mind, just imagine how a child,  Megumi in this case, might have felt living through that scenario.
p.s. 2 heeeeey, English isn’t my first language either. I appear to have mastery of English because I’ve been living in the US for the last 20 years.
Also, I would not have been able to tell that it isn’t your first language if you hadn’t said anything.
Cheers!
Great conversation. Thanks for reaching out :)

oh hey, this sex scene has some things changed/added too
i’m not done with reading yet, so there might be more changes after that (although i don’t think so?) but between wwx asking “does it feel good inside me” and him going “lan zhan you’re dooone for what would your uncle say if he knew you’re fucking before marriage? ;p” there’s a whole scene that’s honestly... kinda cute lol?
basically, wwx asks “does it feel good inside me?” and lwj -- who was either “stupidly straightforward” (japanese meaning) or “dull” (chinese meaning of 愚直) in love, didn’t know how to get along with others and wasn’t particularly talkative, answers by biting wwx’s lips and thrusting harder.
then, wwx goes “lan zhan, lan zhan lan zhan lan zhan -- i really love you to death! i’m yours, i’m only yo-- wait, be more gentle!”. then he tears up again, “as if he was so happy that he went round to sadness”, and asks lwj again to please be gentle, this place is sensitive, don’t just go all out on me, if you do it too hard you’ll break me i’m just a little birthday boy etc etc, THEN (honestly one of my favourite moments, WHAT an absurd man)--
“lan zhan, you’re really the best, not only you’re such a beautiful little thing, you play the qin so well, your calligraphy skills are top notch, you’re a strong and skilled cultivator, you’re so good in bed, why are you so irresistible, how can i not love you--”
poor lwj says nothing, and the narration notes that wwx has been born shameless but also had the property of getting more excited the more shameless nonsense he spouted. lol
then he spreads his legs (meekly, submissively, etc etc) and goes on, basically telling lwj to fuck him more and deeper, come inside etc -- lwj does fuck him deeper indeed, to which wwx is back at his little birthday boy act, nonono, help, that’s not what i meant, this is too much. lwj’s like YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW and wwx once again spreads his legs, once again in a meek/docile way, and eggs lwj on like “gege, lan-gege, i’m going to die, you’re KILLING ME, i’m sorry i’m sorry, this is my first time, please be gentler” to which lwj’s like well ARE you really asking for mercy or doing that on purpo-- STOP moving your hips
wwx goes “someone heeelp pleasee, hanguang-jun, i won’t do it agaaaain” etc etc, lwj kisses his tears and says with audible difficulty that he’s being serious, wwx should stop doing this because he won’t be able to control himsef, that it’s SCARY and he’s sorry. wwx, seeing this, softens in his heart and says “don’t apologize. and if you break me... i really want you to break me”
and then we’re back to the “omg lan zhan you’re done for!” thing, except instead of “…I have long since been like this.”, lwj says “we've already bowed three times” (とっくに三拝した).
i think the original chinese is 早完了 which, since my chinese skills are 50% gtrans and 50% wiktionary/baidu/pleco, doesn’t tell me much lmao. 完了 is “finished, concluded, done, over” and 早 is “early; fast” so the meaning is like “it’s too late/it’s done” but what? what’s already happened? who knows, it’s context city now!
i looked it up on tt, and japanese users are... having problem with it as well lol;;; apparently there was an interview where mxtx said they did bow three times, i think a screenshot is here and it seems she said it happened AFTER they fucked? (生命大和谐 aka “an undescribable scene” gfkjhgjfskg) but do we count the bathtub or the grass as their first time? i think she mentioned adding it in the edited version, but if she did, then i either didn’t notice it or forgot about it OTL;; also, at the end she said “everyone can imagine how it went on their own, it was probably wwx being wild” which. mxtx for god’s sake please. this japanese fan has a whole thread about this mystery, and mentions “we’ve already bowed three times”, “i’m already done for” and “we’re already done for”. hm.
EDIT: AH WAIT I KNOW.
wwxは一旦振り返ると、もう一度 江枫眠夫婦の位牌に向かって真面目に数回地面に頭をつけて拝礼してから、lwjと一緒に立ち上がった。
Wei Wuxian turned around for a moment, once again bowed a couple times facing the Jiang Fengmian and his wife’s tablets, and left together with Lan Wangji.
this one? are we supposed to assume lwj bowed here as well... mxtx you are the master of leaving things unsaid in a frustrating way

Tags: Like the last one, itll be a surpise ^u^.
Btw, the Itadori fanfics were all requested by my irl friend. If I do conflict emotional damage, I’m sorry.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Jujutsu Kaisen as it’s owned by the one-eyed cyclops of a cat, Gege Akutami.
------------
The day of execution had come. The students have gone to their missions. As for the staff, they chose to observe from afar. In case something went wrong. A lone individual enters the isolation room.
The gods must really hate you for whatever they did in their past life.
Itadori could hear their footsteps. Every step they took becomes heavier as they approach him. The individual enters the room full of talismans and few lit candles. Their sight is greeted by the vessel's body, and tired is the best word to describe his appearance. His body is covered in paper talismans, and to make sure the king of curse doesn't come out, blessed chains wrap around his body.
At this moment, they realized how cruel fate can be...
"I thought Gojo-sensei will kill me," Yuji looks up weakly at the newly arrived person. "But it's you, isn't it (Y/N)?"
Their teacher was supposed to be his executor. But the higher-ups didn't trust him enough that he'll kill the student. Unfortunately, you became one. Why? Because you can seal a person's curse energy for a limited amount of time. A perfect weapon against him.
To kill the love you found...
A nod is all you can give him, scared that your voice will fail you. You fear the resolve will disappear. The blade in your hand feels heavier than before. Was it because of the guilt you're going to bear after his execution? Was it the fear of people will see you differently?
You knew to yourself that you won't be the only one who lost someone. Your classmates, Kugisaki and Fushiguro, will lose a close friend. Your upperclassmen Okkutsu, Panda, Inumaki, and Maki, will lose a junior they look after. Nanami and Gojo will lose a precious student. Todou will lose a brother, something he's proud of despite knowing him for a short time.
As for you? You lose a love that you can never find again. You only knew Itadori for a whole year, and somehow, he manages to find a way to crawl into your heart. After his death, the warmth you discover in him will someday cool down and be forgotten as time goes on.
In the early parts of your relationship with him, you were hesitant to love him and return his affections. You knew he will die. There's also fear of the possibility that you or he will curse each other's name in death. Is this why love is the deadliest curse of them all?
"Do you have any regrets, Itadori?"
"If you smile for me," He smiles weakly at you. "I think there won't be."
Your eyes widen in surprise. This boy, even near to his death, is too fucking selfless. You knew what he meant when he said those words.
"If not for you, do it for me then. Be happy, (Y/N)."
You grabbed the handle of your katana to pull it out from its sheathe. You point the blade at his neck before you pull it away from  him.
"Thank you...Yuuji." You were on the verge of crying. But you gave him the biggest smile you can muster. How can you smile so brightly at his death? Easy, you're giving his one-way ticket to being free from his burdens.
No sound was made when a swing of your blade meets his neck. Along with the sheathe, you left your cursed tool in the isolation room and never looked back.
On the way to the principal's office, you feel your mind is numb, and your body is on autopilot. However, you bump onto your blindfolded giant of a teacher in the hallway.
Before he could say anything, you grabbed tightly on his uniform and screamed loudly in pain and frustration. You begin to sob uncontrollably as your knees buckle from the sadness you can't handle. If it weren't for your teacher, your knees give in as you fall on the wooden floor.
At this point, you don't care who can hear your cries. You don't care if your throat is hurting from the screaming and sobbing. If someone gives you an easier way to deal with this, you're not going to take it.
I hope fate is kind to you in your next life, Yuji...
If they're not, they better make sure they won't let me born in the life you existed in...
One slip of a mistake...they'll see worse than hell...

Sorry, but I need to say something I've been thinking about for a while. I found geto's death forcing. 1.he loses to a boy with no experience and the power of ''love''. 2.he was stronger and had more knowledge and experience than the boy yuta. 3. It seems that the author just wanted to get rid of geto so that this annoying villain Kenjaku could come. 4. In my opinion, Geto is the best villain. I don't understand why the author didn't want to continue with him. 5. His death was forced because Saturo already had a change in character and personality. What I'm trying to say is that in the film, Satura is already different, he's no longer that immature young man. 6. the serious work was much more dramatic if geto had survived saturo blow he would have become stronger and returned as a villain again with sukuna. Sorry if it's big, but I have these doubts that such a good and well-constructed character had a horrible ending and very little.
I have mixed feelings about this anon but first I'd clarify things point by point for you and then give my opinion if possible
1. Yuuta Okkotsu has a special grade curse, the queen of curses Rika, the power of "love" you speak tho it might sound cliché does fit here well and it was explained in the manga that love is considered the most twisted curse (if you saw the movie you'd have seen that gojo said this line to him too).
2. Yes sure geto had more experience and knowledge but yuuta is an acclaimed prodigy, his cursed technique is mimicry, rika was so scaringly powerful even before she fully evolved, geto KNEW that if he absorbed rika he'd have everything needed to form his "ideal world". He wasn't just any nobody who managed to get lucky.
3. Okay now here there are two reasons and I am trying my best to find words to explain it, yuuta was meant to be the original mc of jjk, he is the op character. Geto wanted rika (as I mentioned in the previous point) to accomplish his dream so if geto won that battle the story as whole would've taken a very different turn, we wouldn't need itadori and the whole first years and their stories. Remember how I said yuuta was supposed to the actual mc? Yeah that's were gege actually made changes so he could make a better and elaborate plot.
4. Geto Suguru was infact an amazing villain, yes. But you've also got to understand that he was sympathetic towards jujutsu sorcerers, he'd never risk harming them (his own last words being "I never hated anyone from jjk high") unless they're in his way. He had to die because we needed someone who'd go all out, no mercy to anyone, no regard and sympathy for anyone and that's exactly why we needed someone like kenjaku, who was equally powerful, evil and not shy to bring hell.
5. Geto's death had nothing to do with "changing gojo's personality", that change already happened after hidden inventory and premature death arc. His death was an important decision for future plot points (explaining why yuuji was special, sealing the strongest etc).
6. This is where I fully give my opinion, sure Suguru would've come back as stronger and even more powerful villain but would he have achieved what kenjaku did? Geto Suguru that we knew would choose any other route than sealing Gojo, he literally did not even try to protect himself and gave gojo a chance to kill him (during kfc breakup), he never attacked jujutsu high until yuuta happened, he worked with rejected sorcerers and never paired up with evil curses like hanami, jogo and mahito. So, to put it simply it was important part of plot that geto first turned evil and then died, that shaped so many important arcs of the manga and it was well thought out for long run. Sure it's sad and frustrating but that was one good writing move on gege's part and there's no denying that.

did you hear about the news with ayato? alot of fans are upset cuz it was discovered eng localization botched translation and was made so eng ayato's tone was different from cn's. iirc he's a lot more nicer in the cn version than in eng. while i agree localization should've done better and not have another xiao situation where the va's tone is off, i also wish ayato actually had a mean streak or was a "spoiled rich boy" as some people described him. it would've kept him a little interesting!
It's def interesting, because while localisations taking liberties can and has destroyed the tone of certain plots or characters (Fire Emblem, for example, or hell - Kaeya and Diluc, or Klee's Albedo-gege > Mr Albedo, which is MUCH more formal) to me it seems like ENG is desperately trying to make these bland cardboard characters at least a LITTLE interesting. It's got to get frustrating when every single character you've sold so far has been a Nice Person who does Good Things (even the villain!)... even when those characters SHOULD read as morally grey or outright villainous. It reminds me of the discourse from the Liyue chapter regarding Childe's dialogue when Osial was summoned... CN had him express concern for civilians, while ENG just had him outright not give a shit.
Which makes sense, right, the dude summoned A GOD to attack Liyue and he's an established battle maniac that Craves Violence, so he clearly can't be THAT concerned about casualities, right? He works for the FATUI, and they're screwing countries over for the hell of it, so like. Would he REALLY care that much? Isn't he a more fun villain if he doesn't? I'm usually quite annoyed at the attempt to downplay the actions of villains to make them more palatable (and if anyone tries to tell me my problematic faves Weren't That Bad I will launch myself at them hissing and scratching) so I think this is probably a change for the better from a characterisation perspective, but I also understand the frustration of those that want an accurate translation so as to experience the creators' actual intentions...
I think in Xiao's case, if he'd been translated more faithfully the western audience might have labelled him an angsty sad boy, and it's not like we don't already have the sad noble immortal niche filled by Zhongli. Making Xiao more caustic makes a certain amount of sense when you consider how antisocial he is and puts him in greater contrast to Zhongli. Why have TWO plain sad immortals when you could have a sad immortal and a sad, GRUMPY immortal? From the perspective of people trying to sell products in competition with other gachas that have a wider range of personalities in their casts, the decision seems clear enough...
On that note, Ayato's VERY mild mean streak was the most interesting thing about him, so go figure it wasn't in the original script. I genuinely don't think HYV is capable of writing endearing mean characters. Not that it matters - Genshin's audience seems pretty unreceptive to them. I heard people complaining that YAE was too mean. YAE, who is a solid lemon and herbs on the Nandos Spicy Chicken scale!
anyway eng translation you make some dumb decisions but i do feel bad for you in this regard. thank you for not making ayato an ayaka clone.

Who Do You Love?
Modern AU. XL’s friends collectively planned a surprise party at his favorite park. It’s going great so far, XL enjoying having all his friends mingle together for his special day.
Until XL overhears HC and HX talking in the bathrooms, asking “Will you confess to him today?”
“I’m not sure. I’ve loved him for so long…” HC says. “I don’t know if he feels the same.”
HX audibly scoffs. “Yes, the fuck he does. Do it. Don’t be a coward.”
“I guess…” HC sighs.
XL doesn’t stay to hear the rest. He flees the scene after that, heart breaking at the fact that the person he’s had a crush on for so long has their eyes on someone else. XL escapes the festivities and sits on a swing by himself, wallowing in sadness.
To him, HC has never shown interest towards anyone. And then he hears that HC has a crush and plans to confess to him at XL’s bday party? It’s absolutely gutting.
XL has long ago resigned to the fact that HC is out of his league. They’re good friends, yes, even best friends. But if HC were to choose someone worthy of being his partner, how could XL think with any certainty that would be him?
Yet, XL still deeply yearns for HC’s affection. It seems he will have to continue to keep his heart hidden away from a distance.
SQX brings XL back to the party so XL can blow out the candles on his cake. Once he sits down, a massive coconut cake with vanilla icing, he looks around and sees everyone but the one person that’s been on his mind for the past half hour.
On the inside, XL crumbles that much more. What if HC is confessing to his special person right now when XL’s only wish right now is to see HC?
XL takes a deep breath, preparing to blow out a rush of air. All of the candles go out in a whoosh. Everyone cheers and claps with enthusiasm, then abruptly stop when they see tears streaming down the birthday boy’s face.
There’s a whole commotion, multiple people rushing up to XL to ask what’s wrong. XL just sadly shakes his head while saying he’s fine, just a little emotional.
Finally, a familiar voice rings through the air. XL would recognize it anywhere.
“What’s happening? Why is Gege crying? Who made him cry!?” HC harshly questions as he pushes his way to XL. XL, still sitting in front of his birthday cake, locks eyes with HC, unable to mask his vulnerability.
When HC approaches, XL starts crying harder.
“Gege?” HC asks worriedly, his eye wide in his crazed expression.
XL’s squeezes his eyes shut, tears leaking out of the corners. He ignores MQ ans FX who sit beside him and reaches for HC. The taller man doesn’t waste a second before leaning down to embrace XL in a warm hug. XL sniffles, digging his face into HC’s shoulder.
He vaguely hears the sounds of protest from his other friends. XL pays them no attention, clinging tighter to HC as he feels himself being lifted into the other man’s arms.
“Wanna go somewhere else?” HC murmurs into XL’s ear, hot breath tickling the shell. Strangely, even when the person who’s caused all of this emotional turmoil is the one whisking him away, XL can’t help but feel relieved that he has HC’s full attention.
If things worked out for HC, XL’s not sure he’ll get many opportunities for this in the future.
“To the big tree,” XL says, voice muffled in the fabric of HC’s shirt. HC nods, hoisting XL further up by his thighs.
“Of course.”
HC brings XL over to the tallest tree in the park, away from the rest of the party. It’s a silent walk the entire way. Not uncomfortable but also tense. XL hopes HC doesn’t put him down.
Luckily, that thought doesn’t cross HC’s mind. He promptly turns around and slowly lowers to sit with his back against the trunk, XL still in his arms. He secures XL on his lap, holding him by the hips. HC doesn’t say anything. He softly caresses the back of XL’s head.
It’s clear he’s waiting for XL to speak up first. His patience for XL never wavers, especially when XL is upset. XL desperately wishes he could’ve been HC’s special person.
With one last sniffle—realizing with a horror that he’s sullied HC’s shirt with his tears and snot—XL asks in no more than a whisper.
“Did he accept your feelings?”
HC continues stroking XL’s hair, acting as if he expected this question. XL selfishly braces himself against HC’s firm chest.
“I haven’t confessed to him yet,” HC says quietly.
