Adam: Well technically, I suppose it should be the "Tristan Extended Universe," since he and Gallahad are the first in the chain. The originals.

Tristan and Gallahad: *Standing next to each other without a clue as to what's going on*

Everyone: *Turns to look at Nigel*

Nigel: Why you all looking at me? I'm the most normal-looking one here! *Points to Tony* You're a bald cunt, *Points to Hannibal* you look like a prick, *Points to Duncan* you look like a fucking Russian. I hate Russians. *Points to Lucas* You look like a fucking kiddy-fiddler.

Lucas: ... I'm not.

I was like "I wanna see a fanfic where Will has a significant other and Hannibal is absolutely furious and seething with jealousy because HE wants Will and tries to do everything he can to get Will for himself".

But then I realised...I don't need a fanfic of that...BECAUSE IT LITERALLY HAPPENS IN THE SHOW. HANNIBAL WAS ABSOLUTELY FUMING OVER WILLS FAMILY IT WAS SO FUNNY.

Will walks in on an altercation between Hannibal and Jack. Will and Hannibal had been going about their life together after The Fall so to see Jack here was NOT very good.

"Hannibal!" Will calls out to him bleeding on the floor and rushes over to help Hannibal up.

Jack just laughs.

"Oh Will...What's he done to you? Don't make me kill you too." Jack says softly with despair and regret.

Will goes to grab the kitchen knives slowly and for a moment Jack thought that maybe, just maybe, Will was on his side. But Will grabs two knives and that's when Jack knows he's lost Will forever.

He had deep down always known that even if Will was alive, he'd already lost him when he plummeted to the Atlantic ocean because he'd given into whatever Hannibal was bringing out of him. An act of acknowledgement, something he couldn't live with.

But still. A man can dream, right?

"I'm sorry Jack."

Will can't even look the man in the eye.

"...Are you, though?"

Hannibal and Will are mated and Will is very much tsundere, "don't touch me asshole or I'll fucking eat you" and acts like he hates Hannibal but everytime we touch I get this feeling and everytime we kiss I swear I could fly can't you feel my heart beats fast I want this to last I need you by my sideeeee

Will found it rather odd at how human Hannibal actually was.

The man was such a solid, calm, consistent, omnipotent presence that...no, Hannibal was not actually a God like Will kept reminding himself. But before, the concept of Hannibal was definitely not something Will would describe as "human."

It was like finding out teachers actually had lives and didn't live in school, solely existing for the children's education.

Hannibal slept. And for some reason, Will never considered the fact that Hannibal would ever NEED sleep.

He wore those dorky Pyjamas. Like, what?

He would get ill. Although very rarely, he did get sick. And Will couldn't fathom the fact that Hannibal was not immune to illness and he was merely mortal.

The fact that he was mortal. It was just quite hard to believe with how NOT mortal Hannibal seemed.

Hannibal could get angry. Even when Hannibal was angry, he never showed it. Not really. And Will had to remind himself that the man was more than just the personification of the words "calm and collected."

HE HAS CHEST HAIR. WHY WOULDN'T HE HAVE CHEST HAIR THO? BUT LIKE THE FACT THAT HE HAS CHEST HAIR?!?!?

All these things seemed so mundane, so below Hannibal, as if he would ever need to do any human things.

Hannibal was like a force that would go on forever, even long after he passed. His presence held so much weight and power that it was otherworldly and he transcended beyond anything simply human.

After Will told himself that Hannibal was not a God, he never actually went further than that to explain WHY Hannibal wasn't a God because it just never occurred to him Hannibal was an actual, physical person that had needs and human emotions.

Will has a secret talent of being able to play the guitar and sing but he only knows a few country songs but his favourite song to play has always been "Jolene" by Dolly Parton.

Abigail had started killing again.

Just animals. She was only 8 when it started. When Will had first found out, he took her to see Alana. She referred Will to see Hannibal for his own mental health and started to take Abigail hunting when Hannibal had suggested it.

But she started killing animals again.

That's when Abigails friend, Marissa Schurr, was murdered. Will instantly thought it was Abigail. But he couldn't disown her, she was his daughter and he couldn't bring himself to hate her.

Then, that's when Cassie Boyle's brother came. Hannibal had assisted Abigail in the boys burial.

Abigail is Wills biological daughter and Hannibal sees a wonderful opportunity to make them go around in circles a bit.

I am writing this fic but wouldn't mind seeing someone else's adaptation of this.

You just know that a while after The Fall, Will has a moment in the kitchen when Hannibal is out running an errand and the radio is playing Céline Dion's "It's All Coming Back To Me Now".

Like he's properly belting out the lyrics as he recalls every moment since he met Hannibal because God it fits too perfectly with the song.

It's like therapy for him as he moves around the kitchen, flailing his arms around in dance moves. Tiring his voice out to the point it breaks when hitting high notes and he kind of silently screams instead of drawing out a note.

All the while Hannibal stares with amusement and a little guilt from behind an archway leading into the kitchen because he came home and Will was just so loud and preoccupied, he didn't hear Hannibal come through the front door.

You sure as shit KNOW that Hannibal gets off on being Will's favourite, whether Will admits/knows that or not. Hannibal is so giddy knowing that the friendship he has with Will is unique in the sense that Will would never be as close to anyone like he is with Hannibal. No one can be Will's friend like Hannibal is.

AND IT'S THE SAME FOR WILL. I'M CERTAIN HE SECRETLY LOVES HANNIBALS ATTENTION.

It's very much a case of "I can, and you can't. Nah nah nah-nah nahhhh!😝"

I literally can't explain how much they enjoy how exclusive their relationship is but just know that no one else is their favourite person.

Before Hannibal got taken in by the FBI in S3 Ep7, he was outside Will's house, crying in the snow to the lyrics of Céline Dion's "Think Twice"

Will, Abigail and Hannibal are cooking dinner in the kitchen. The small TV is on a radio channel, known for playing slightly older songs.

"Careless Whisper" by George Michael starts playing and everyone stills for a few seconds.

Will clears his throat. "Abigail? Could you turn the radio off, please?"

"Huh? Oh yeah sure, let me just uh...Go to the bathroom real quick." Abigail slides away from the counter and into the hall.

"Wait, no- Abigail!" Will protests but it's too late. The girl is gone. Stuck with his bloody hands inside a skull, stuffing it with whatever Hannibal was passing to Abigail to pass to him.

"Do you think you could-?" Will quietly asks Hannibal, still chopping away and the trumpets blowing on that annoying tune.

"...I feel so unsure..."

"Oh God no please-" Will begs in horror.

"As I take your hand-" Hannibal reaches his left hand out to grab Will's wrist and yank it out of the skull, "and lead you to the dance floor."

"EXACTLY, WILL!!" Hannibal cheers his partner on, who screams the lyrics as if he was the star of a rock concert.

Will has an amusing thought.

He's not one for celebrating holidays, theatrics or making a joke out of his...lifestyle. But Halloween is coming up and Will just couldn't help but think of all the places he could go within America where he and Hannibal could make legends, myths and ghost stories a reality.

Needless to say, he becomes a bit of a fan during holiday seasons.
