Why does Dusty gets away with so many things? I mean, for what I've seen the fandom completely blames Spider for what they did to JoJo, but he wasn't the only one. Ant and Dusty were in it too and the whole thing was Dusty's idea.

Then we have the threesome. Harper is blamed for it, even though she was high and also still really traumatised by what happened. In that scene we have two very vulnerable and intoxicated teenagers and one that isn't and the one that isn't is the one that initiated the whole thing! Why is everyone blaming Harper?

being ace and watching hbh… lord all of this hits too close to home. these two scenes BROKE ME so much but i’m so grateful they exist. heartbreak high has done a wonderful job in this season with cash’s asexuality (and they said the actual word!!! even if it was dusty who said it) so i couldn’t be happier. everything has felt so real and relatable. ALSO THE SCENE WITH NAN???

Forever grateful that heartbreaker high S2 gave us a TRUE love triangle.

Unfortunate that it had to come at the cost of one of them being a classic school shooter white boy and also the school but yk what baby steps

Just finished Heartbreak High S2 and I think the storyline I liked most was Missy and Spider.

I liked that it didn't let Spider magically change because of Missy and I liked the message of needing to change for yourself first or it's never going to stick.

But most of all - I love that Spider was demisexual-coded.

Who knows if that is how he identifies but it would make sense if he did. In season 1, couldn't get hard for Amerie and it is because he didn't care about her in the way he cares about Missy.

In season , thought he wouldn't be able to get hard for Missy but at the point they are fooling around, they are so comfortable with each other that they are farting with each other and that's when Spider gets it up- because he has finally established enough of an emotional connection with her to feel attracted to her sexually.

As a demisexual person - I'm loving the rep.

her explaining to darren that she’s just having a hard time adjusting and darren immediately saying she’s going to have to get used to change was a moment i related to more than anything.

she wasn’t saying it to imply she’s unhappy or upset or anything like that but as a way of getting across that she’s struggling and needs them to be patient with her as she adjusts because, at the end of the day, people with audhd know that we have to conform to a certain expectation most times, if not all, but it takes us a lot longer than most but it doesn’t mean we don’t want to every time, just that we’re having a hard time and trying to communicate that clearly with people without them immediately making assumptions is difficult.
