- you and jungwon have been friends for a while even before he went on i-land

- he’s always been into performing, singing, and especially dancing

- sometimes you’d stay behind at school and watch him do taekwondo + dancing

- and while he was student body president, you were the president of broadcasting too!

- you loved to talk to others and be in front of a camera and also wanted to make your own padcast, but never really knew how

- so you two were definitely in communication because of your positions!

- and… drum roll please… jungwon gets a little crush on you

- let’s just say he started thinking about you whenever you started morning broadcast for the school… or when you announced his name and his plans as student body president he went all blush-y

- he thought you were super cool and loved how effortless you were in front of everyone

- like time slows down when he looks at you, his eyes go glittery everyone else disappears..

- you two hung out a lot afterschool and sometimes at each others houses, but you also had other friends- friends who would also become idols!!

- so now that highschools kind of ending, a lot of your friends started seriously pursuing music and the idol life, but you were never quite as devoted as they were

- and unfortunately by senior year, jungwon left for i-land :(

- you tried to be close but they didn’t allow outside communication and summer left you extremely busy

- and you were really sad that you couldn’t hang out with jungwon as much, but you still had other friends and were close to many from your school because of how big your journalism class was (aka where you did your broadcasting duties)

- but watching iland was your pasttime!! you voted jungwon EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. because you knew how much work went into his skills

- and who even cares if it was biased everyone was biased in their voting

- and you loved the drama and all his other members (but god it was heartbreaking and when jungwon stood on that second to elimination stage you cried)

- when enhypen debuted, you stayed a fan not just because of jungwon, but because of his interactions and their music

- enhypen was popular from the get-go because of iland, and you paid attention to their comebacks and texted jungwon every so often

- you two weren’t able to meet because of his busy tour schedule and back to back combacks (FREE MY BOYS)

- but you always supported them wherever whenever, and even trying to get concert tickets to attend whenever they were in your area

- plus you were still a broke college student and busy with your own interests

- but it didn’t stop you from consuming their content

- and if something happened you’d text jungwon, not really expecting a text back since he was so busy, but he’d always try to respond

- special valentines day episode! you and your host shared stories about YOUR first crush and love experiences

- plus listening to jungwon is always so satisfying, especially to see him grow and explore different concepts and looks, you were not only loving the face cards being served but also his energy and love for his fans!!

- so yeah, safe to say your feelings for him were still there..

- but then they perform on music bank for xo, and you’re…THERE???

- jungwon’s looking at you, who’s looking super pretty as you rehearse your lines and the stylists are adding to your look before the show

- and he turns to his members like dude.

- and all of them are confused like ?? “jungwon what’s wrong..”

- “DUDE MY CHILDHOOD FRIEND IS HERE AS THE MC AND SHE’S SO PRETTY”

- thankfully camera crew was on break..but when they were back

- you had your own little script related to their new concept, asking a few questions and then moving onto a member specific question

- “jungwonnie! i noticed you wrote the part for hundred broken hearts! can we have you sing it?”

- THING IS…who says ‘jungwonnie’ so freely?? if you guys never met?? yeah speculation was running a little out of hand fr!

Jungwon shakes his head, dimples reappearing as he takes another look at you and nods. He sings his written part into the mic, and unknowingly, you smile too. “Ah- sorry, I’m too nervous to be singing it well.” And you scoff at him, looking around at his members. “He did it great, don’t you agree, Jake? Your voice is like an angel.” You call out to Jake, who originally sings that part.

Jake tells you, “Agh, he might steal my fans if he decides to sing that part live” and you laugh, eyes crinkling as you smile at Jake’s response to move onto the next question.

- and jungwon in that moment remembers why he liked you

- your laugh, your smile, your easy-going nature, and how much you had chased for your passions over the years

- and he’s just super super proud of you for where you are now, being a literal mc

- and he knows you love doing it

"A Green Queen" AU

Daisies

The yoshi leapt and bounded as it tried its best to keep up with the floating ship.

"C'mon, we're almost there!", She exclaimed. "Just a little bit ahead"

The yoshi huffed only to skid to the side and run to the left. "Wait, no! The ship is that way!"

She tried to steer its reins to the right, but it yanked its head back again and sped towards the open desert.

It looked up and leapt once more before an array of crimson blocks appeared, leading up to the sky.

"Oh..", she noted. The yoshi looked back at her unamused. "Hehe sorry.."

It nodded then crouched down and jumped up onto the blocks. The two came onto the final block, the ship passing it quickly, and as the yoshi bounced towards it Daisy held in her excitement.

As the foot of her ride hit the edge, the two got knocked back by a huge boulder-like figure, falling into the sand below.

"No!", She yelled as she watched the ship leave. Daisy stood up, widened her stance, and faced the stagnant rock ready to fight it.

Several Ganchans broke off from their fused boulder form and rolled past her feet towards a figure behind her. The yoshi looked over to it and hid beside Daisy once it saw him.

"Leaving without a present-" the voice coughed.

Daisy's eyes widened as she turned towards it. "Ugh, not you again!"

Prince Khufo grinned, his fur pulsed with electricity causing him to twitch and jitter uncontrollably. "Y-You know, if I didn't know any better. I'd let you go, like my poor old father did."

"Out of mercy.."

"Hah! He did it out of pity, but I know better.", He clapped his paws together and out of the ground, several Ganchans stuck to her and the yoshi, imprisoning them in stone all the way up to their necks.

"You little shi-"

"Ah! Mind your tongue there, I'm not afraid to cut it off~", he snorted. "Besides, I have a proposition. As you know, running an empire is quite boring and I'm in the mood for something... entertaining. Without the King of Koopas to play with and most of my parties being put on hold, due to the damage done to my castle. I'd like to strike a deal."

Daisy blinked then started to laugh, leaving the Prince bewildered by her reaction.

"H-Hey! Im serious!"

Daisy sniffled, "Sorry, sorry. I can't help it. All I see is a little immature kitten getting into something over his head. You don't even realize the severity of this, do you?"

Khufo's chest puffed, "Y-Yes, I do! I'm well aware of the Koopa Troopa and Bowser's army, b-but they have no king so they're weakened.", He hissed "Besides, you haven't even heard what I wanted yet. If you're so adamant about NOT listening, there's always the forcing you."

She moved her head away as his light purple claw grazed her cheek, "What do you want?"

"Simple, I want you to spy on the Queen for me."

"Queen?!"

"Yes, Bowser's husband."

"Husband?!"

"How long are you going to do that?"

"That?!", She exclaimed. He squinted his eyes as she held in her laughter.

"....By the stars, my father should've-"

"I'll.. do it. But I want to know why."

Khufo sighed, "It hasn't clicked yet? Geez, you're both stupid and ugly."

"Ugly?!"

"SHUT UP!", he yelled. His fur stood on end as he did. "Look, I know you're after the little red human. However you won't be able to catch up to them without assistance, so I'll help you get to him and you can help me find out more information on the Queen."

She looked down at the yoshi. It would take at least a few weeks and possibly a month to not only figure out where the ship was heading but also to catch up to it on time.

"Sure, what the hell.."

"Excellent! While we're here anyways, any questions?"

"You said there was a Queen? I did hear a koopa yell his name, but I didn't know Bowser took on a partner."

"It was rumored amongst his allies, but I saw it with my own eyes and they seemed...fine."

"What does he look like?"

"..... Tall, fair skin, pretty hefty, blue eyes, facial hair."

"Could you be a bit more descriptive?", She groaned.

"You'll know him when you see him", Khufo smiled. He flicked his wing, to which the Ganchans released themselves from the two captives. "Now, I'll get you a small balloon. I'll cloak it for a few hours, but after that you're on your own. Get on it before getting caught."

Daisy checked the small cuts on the Yoshi and nodded. "And medical supplies."

Khufo blinked, "what for?"

"You injured this yos-"

"He'll live. It's a few cuts, get over it."

She stood up and aimed a punch at the Prince only for a shock of electricity and magic to shock her off of him.

"Ugh..."

"Like I said. Get over it."

She glared at him as he and the Ganchans headed back towards the castle.

"C'mon, you'll need to get on before sundown."

Daisy stood up slowly, the yoshi slightly nudged her to get on but she shook her head, "I'll be fine. You on the other hand..."

She ripped a few strips of clothes from her cloak and tied them around as many cuts and gashes as she could.

The yoshi beamed at the bandages then turned to her wagging its tail. She nodded and it gave her a quick lick to the face, causing her to laugh.

"You're welcome! Now, let's get going..", she sighed. Her eyes looked over to the Prince who was waiting for them to follow.

Both exchanged a glare, but she simply walked towards him, gripping the reins tightly. Her hands shook violently, upset she couldn't do anything further.

okok so i finished the heartstopper graphic novels which is SO SAD cuz now i have to wait for volume 6 to come out (which is the final final volume. im gonna cry) i still have the novellas to read plus alice osemans other novels so wagsd

i also got the collectors editions of the six of crows duology and i shouldve gotten them through a more official bookstore and not off amazon cuz it was shipped pretty badly (like some of the pages of ck are stuck together bc of most likely heat melting the sprayed edges) but its fine, im not gonna read them and theyre purely for keepsake, they have art of the characters in the back ITS SO COOLLLK

i got super frustrated today (bunch of little things) AND THEN I ACCIDENTALLY BROKE MY BRACELET? LIKE HELLO? the beads are all on my floor and i still havent cleaned it out of spite, but i do feel better!!

i bought the final book in the agggtm series (so good highly HIGHLY recommend) and put some books on hold at my library

i also got the entire bsd manga which finally completed my collection (yes im bad with money how can u tell) but didnt realize it would be too much for my very small bookshelf so wan has been stacked on top of the manga

also learned today that ur not supposed to put egg whites in the sink.

i started taking these vitamins bc my mom thinks im low on vitamin d (im super sleepy all the time, even with good sleep) and i started taking magnesium pills to help me sleep (yeh how does someone struggle with being too sleepy and not sleepy enough. its so lame)

ok so i just finished nine liars of the truly devious series and anyone wanna listen to me ramble?

so here’s some background~ read the main trilogy all together, loved it (had a single issue will elaborate below)

when box in the woods come out, read it and also liked it!

so here’s the thing, i may have some thoughts on the books, writing or plot wise but i don’t remember anything lmao just that i enjoyed them and that’s it

now nine liars~ this was a great book! im such a sucker for friends in academia so close together (iwwv anyone?) and wish we got more of the nine! someone here mentioned that it would’ve been better if they were less people and im inclined to agree, less people but more page time developing them as complex characters would’ve been so much better; which is why when the mystery was solved it fell flat! honestly out of all the books this was the easiest to predict and it didn’t even wrap up nicely!

now one thing that was done well was how stevie was treated like a normal teenager and it was even better than other ya books! she’s clumsy, always spilling things on her hoodies (lol this was the most relatable!) and also other stuff, her not being able to focus on stuff, feeling behind everyone, being kinda self centered and all!

also kinda love her friendship with nate more than janelle? like yes i love janelle but just- ahh it’s so good to see a healthy platonic relationship between stevie and nate!

now comes the bad part hehe ok ever since the og trilogy ive hated david like so bad and was so disappointed when in the end he ends up with her, so i was so happy when they broke up, but when izzy said he broke up because he thought she’s too good for him i was like whaa no don’t get together! this is exactly like when he was giving her mixed signals in the og trilogy but she still stuck with him? like please the mysteries are good on their own it doesn’t need romance!!

also one thing that was kinda weird was how easily they were able to go to the uk? like idk much about how things in the us work so maybe im thinking too much but there should’ve been some clear explanation as to how, like some random dude just provided accommodation to four students when they weren’t even sure why they wanted to come and all?

anyway now im thinking of poor frankie on a day trip somewhere and his stomach is playing up all day but he doesn't think much of it (it's always doing something one way or another) and at the end of it he's alone waiting for a train and now he has time to think about it his stomach is getting worse and worse but he forgot his medication at home and he's trying not to think about it but all the water he's been drinking is making him feel worse and worse

he doesn't want to throw up on the station because it's embarrassing and the platform is full but he might not have any other choice he can feel his stomach gurgling and he's getting hot flashes and his mouth is full of spit and he's burping more and more frequently and he's covering his mouth to stop it coming but he's too late.....

But now that he’s alone…well, he’s far from alone like you said. There’s at least 20 other people on the platform and if they haven’t noticed him squeezed into himself on the bench before now they’re going to notice him soon when he can’t keep his stomach in place anymore. Maybe if he’s lucky no one will recognize him and they’ll just think he’s some drunk vagrant who can’t hold his liquor. That thought sends his head spinning and he thrusts it between his knees, trying desperately to calm his breaths through his teeth. It wasn’t working. He was sweating one second, dripping with it, and then flash frozen the next, teeth nearly chattering. He wished Gerard was still here -

The sound of squealing brakes broke through Frank’s thoughts and screamed into his head so loudly that his bones shook. His stomach roiled, grumbled terribly, and was forcing itself up his throat without much warning. It came in gushes, Frank tried to keep himself as quiet as possible, hoping to go unnoticed in the shuffle of boarding and disembarking. hello my interweb friends! my niece took this photo last feb 2023.

🤍 i am now in a relationship. it's big for me since this is my first real relationship. ever. in my 25 years of existence, she finally got one.

there's a lot of things i dont know about relationships that i thought i knew. as a watcher, i kept telling myself "ah i'll be a strong independent woman, if he cant handle me, then leave" but its really broad and a lot to consider as well. that sort of thinking only condones women who cannot change their problematic behavior just because it's them. in this relationship, it wasn't smooth sailing. we were completely different and he came from a long term relationship and there's a fragment of that history that he brings into our table. all im trying to say, it is so much work. i care about him and seeing him putting in the work makes me strive to be a better partner.

ive been alone ever since. there are times i don't consider him to tag along to my whereabouts or buy him pasalubongs just because i am always with my family. it was a huge adjustment for me - to make time for him. in this ever busy life, it was tough. i tried telling him but my fear of disappointing everyone (yes its a trauma response) is always on the roof. until recently we talked about giving each other a heads up rather than stood us up.

we almost broke up. it was out of accumulated frustrations. :( but alas, we power thru.

right now, we are doing well. a long way to go, yes but i dont mind if its him. hehe

After all your lessons you went to the school bathroom.

Leeknow silently followed you in the hall and before you got inside the bathroom he pinned you to the wall besides the door.

After a while he said this: “you know what? Let’s make a deal, you become my pet and listen to every single thing I tell you to do, and in return I will spoil you, make sure your dad will keep his job.

He said.

“Y-Your pet?..” you mutter out confused.

“Correct, if you become my pet nothing bad will happen to you, trust me, I will spoil you and you can spend my money all you want.” He smirks.

Gently tucking your hair behind your ears and leaning in closer.

“C-Can I give some of that money to my dad?..” you whispered.

“Hmm, if you’re a good pet then I guess it wont hurt to do so.” He shrugged.

“Okay then..” you agreed…

“Good, now come with me, we’re skipping school to go on a.. what was it?.. a shopping spree or sum.”

You silently complied and walked behind him as he led you to his car.

You stepped in and immediately noticed the expensive smell of wood and vanilla mixed together.

Leeknow gave his driver a location to go to as you put on your seatbelt.

Soon you guys were driving through the city, with the sky a mix of orange and pink, the clouds looking beautiful.
