Ban Headcanons

A/N: My first post with hopefully more to come! This is simple and something I’ve had sitting around for a long time! These are my own headcanons, please be respectful!

- Pansexual!! I don’t care what anybody says, he won’t care what you identify as so long as you can match him.

- Loves attention and cuddling from his partner and would definitely get sad if they don’t give him enough of it.

- Love languages would be acts of service and physical touch.

- Absolutely loves cooking for his partner since it’s one of the things he’s good at. Give him praise, he loves it.

- Doesn’t get jealous super easily but if someone won’t take the hint or you’re giving a bunch of attention to someone else then he’d get annoyed/jealous.

- Doesn’t get jealous easily just because he knows the person attempting to get with you doesn’t stand much of a chance.

- Protective, very protective. After what happened with Elaine, he doesn’t intend to let anything bad happen to his next partner and he’d be sure to protect them at all costs, even if they could handle themselves. He won’t take risks with this.

- Very warm, how else would you explain him wearing pretty much nothing during the winter? So if you’re ever cold just use him as a personal heater.

- Big spoon all the time, he loves being able to bring you close and hold you at night as he’s falling asleep. If you snuggle into him or something similar he’d melt on the spot, he loves when you do that.

- If you wanted to be the big spoon every once in a while though he wouldn’t mind.

- Adores it when he sees you get excited about something you’re passionate about. He thinks it’s the cutest thing in the world.

- Will gladly listen to you ramble on about whatever you want, even if he doesn’t understand what the fuck you’re talking about.

- Lots of kisses everywhere, your forehead, cheek, neck, shoulder, anywhere he can reach he’ll kiss.

- PDA, this man is not at all afraid to show how much he loves you and he doesn’t care who’s looking.

- He doesn’t have a shameful bone in his body.

- Actually a pretty decent singer, although only you’d know that. His voice would be gentle, deep, and soothing. If you ask, he’d softly sing or hum a tune to help you fall asleep. Only you would get this privilege though.

- For some reason I feel like he’d smell fruity?? It’s different, I know, but considering all the ale he drinks and his association with the fairies I feel like it makes sense? It’d be a good kind of fruity!

- Or he smells like whatever he was cooking up in the kitchen!

- Definitely likes having his partner mess with his hair. How could you look at him and not want to mess with it? Don’t you want to know how soft it is?

NSFW headcanons

- Bondage. He likes seeing you all tied up and helpless beneath him.

- Likes tying you up the most but definitely wouldn’t mind being tied up either.

- Marking, biting, hickies, etc. He may not get jealous easily but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t want others to know who you belong to.

- He’s got sharp fangs, he’s going to use them.

- Lives to please you.

- He’d let you set the pace at first if you wanted but just know he can only take so much before he’s fucking you into the bed.

- Would be willing to try anything new that you would suggest.

- Loves hearing you say his name, knowing he’s the only one who gets to see you like this and make you feel like this.

- King of aftercare, he knows he can be rough and he wants to make sure you’re properly taken care of. A warm bath, lots of cuddles, whatever you want he will be happy to get you.

Well hello and welcome to this shitshow I’ve decided to tackle.

I’ve decided that I simply cannot allow Seven Deadly Sins—a series that I still think has great potential and squandered it—to remain as bad as it is and I am going to take a crack at improving it one delusional piece of artwork after another.

Anyway, here’s my redesign of Meliodas. He can look as youthful as he wants but there will be no borderline-toddler faces in this house. Still a short king wearing heels, but this time it’s boots! Redid his vest to have coattails instead of whatever it was doing before, gave him black pants because it balanced him out a bit better, and gave him a green bow tie because the red just seemed way too out of place in the original design.

I’ve said before but I will say it again for the masses: let 👏 the humanoid 👏 demons 👏 have more 👏 demonic 👏 features. And if no one else will then I may as well do it myself. Obviously he looks more human most of the time to hide his race, but he’s got slightly different demon eyes, fangs, retractable claws and horns (still working on the positioning and proportions) and a whole tail! Because we all know that the Demon Race are probably just oversized cats, am I right lads?

In my version if canon, the Demon Race used to be Goddesses or at least an angelic race of some sort until The Fall, which I like to imagine Meliodas was there for because someone’s gotta drop the deep lore. And because I think it gives a new layer to the Demon Race’s hatred for the Goddesses. Does it contradict the canon lore? Sure, but I’m in charge here and I, unfortunately for everyone, do what I want, and I always love me some biblical imagery and themes.

Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for now, so I should stop ignoring my schoolwork now. Let me know what you think, if ya’ll are so inclined!

Hm.

If I wasn't a demon, I'd wonder if the plants my dear freelancer brought home (courtesy of our lovely friend, Huxley) had some kind of effect on me. But no. I am, in fact, a demon, and the king of the Solaire Clan, William Solaire, has, in fact, just started following my newly created account.

I'm unsure on how to feel about this, but I'll welcome it all with open arms nonetheless.

Another story idea:

One of the - and I hesitate to call them "issues" as I think the series is pretty complete on its own - but one of the loose threads from the end of Gravity Falls Season 2 I'd like to tug at is the ease with which Ford finds redemption after his return to his dimension.

On the surface, it seems like the only person he needs to work to reconcile with is his brother, with whom he can barely share a civilized conversation with until after the zodiac is broken and the elder Pines twins are left seemingly helpless in Bill's improvised prison.

And yes, Ford gets the kick in the ass he needs after his brother's memory is erased (at his own hand), as he realizes at that juncture just how much his hubris has cost him (even if he hadn't consciously valued the relationship with his brother before, there have been steady hints throughout the series and books that Ford values Stan in some way, even if he's shit at showing it).

But it's all...rather easy.

McGucket asserts that he's done forgetting and ready to forgive, even though he was probably the biggest victim to Ford's actions and ego throughout the entire series. (There was another post I saw around here about "hurt people hurt people." Bill may have been awful to Ford, but Ford was almost equally as awful to Fiddleford).

Give me a story where McGucket starts to gain back those memories - of his anxiety and panic and near-slavish devotion to a man who barely gave him the time of day. Give me a Fiddleford who won't take Ford back after this all comes back to light, who finally grows a spine and cuts ties with someone who mistreated him for years.

Give me a story where Mabel is outwardly enthusiastic towards Ford, but also afraid. Afraid that she's not enough for him, that she can't be her brother, that Ford will look down on her. Give me Mabel acting out in her most-Mabelest ways to try to both win over Ford and smooth out the relationship between him and Stan (and knowing she's a child coming from an unsettled home life, this hits all the worse).

Give me a story where Dipper realizes the truth of the old quote, "never meet your heroes." Where he finally come to terms with the fact that Ford is just a person - and a very flawed person, at that. A person who nearly sold the world for his ego and worse yet, held his grunkle and sister with little regard, held Dipper's own future with little regard except how it would benefit Ford.

And yes, finally, give me a story where Stan and Ford have the seriously hash things out. Where they ned to come to terms with their trauma from their youth (and the one thing I can't blame Ford for is what happened with the science fair project. Stan shouldn't have been there and he knew better. Stan also knew he was less than second banana to his brother his entire life, and his father made no bones about showing it. Say what you will, but an almost-18-year-old Ford was never going to react well to that situation, nor would he totally understand the consequences of Filbrick kicking Stan out at that age. Stan was also horrifically co-dependent on his brother, something his parents should have helped to sort out way earlier). Stan needs to sort his issues with both his (now-assumedly-dead) parents, as does Ford. Ford needs to come clean as to the who, what, where and why of Oregon. And Stan needs a reason to live for himself, and not for others - especially not his brother, from whom he has an almost desperate need for affection. (And you have to wonder, after 30 years...now that he's gotten Ford back, is there some kind of pit that's opened up in Stan, some raison d'être that's vanished leaving him uncertain as to everything in life, even with Ford vowing change and ships and adventures from his end. That's got to be one hell of a whiplash).

Anyway, what I'm saying is I love Ford but there's a ton he has to reckon with, and worst off, he has to reckon with other people if he truly wants to change. (And oh no, can I think of another two-dimensional being who may be going through the same thing in a time-warped psychiatric institution, hmmm, I wonder...)

When I say I will do my baby girl justice, I MEAN I will do her justice, and that starts with a redesign!

After Meliodas, it’s only natural to do Elizabeth. I had a lot of thoughts about what to do with her, because her previous waitress outfit was just not a vibe; gratuitous fanservice aside, those shirt ruffles were atrocious and the bright pink was kind of an eyesore. So I decided to take a bit of inspiration from her co-owner outfit and gave her a button up, a slightly longer skirt, actually matching shoes and another stocking for symmetry, and gave her a little bow to tie her hair back in! A little better suited for waitressing and travelling while still sticking to the same idea. Also a little more dignified for a princess.

I always think it’s a bit weird when a character’s eye is constantly covered and there’s no real reason for it, especially since it didn’t seem like there was anything up with Elizabeth’s eye in season 1 until she awakened her Goddess powers. So I decided to give her partial blindness in that eye, carried over from my plan for Liz who was fully blind in that eye due to an injury. Retaining scars from past lives and all that. Also gives her a little bit of a better reason to be clumsy rather than it just being for the “cutesy moe fanservice just because” gag. Clumsy ain’t sexy no matter what Lucky Star says.

Our girl deserves to be adorable and thus she shall be. I’ve always thought Elizabeth has some of the best outfits in the series but her main one at the tavern just wasn’t a vibe.

Obviously it’s not illustrated here, but I also plan some minor changes to Elizabeth’s arc and character—I absolutely adored her in season 1, eager to help however she can and prove herself worthy of the Sins’ aid (even though she didn’t need to) and I want that reflected more. You telling me this girl wouldn’t ask Ban to teach her how to stab someone just in case she needs to defend herself and none of them are around? After she tried to take King’s giant war spear to go stab someone herself? After she ripped the hypnotic bell off of Ruin’s staff with her TEETH and SMIRKED at him when she did? You are incorrect, because I know in my heart of hearts she would.
