Blitzø 👏 and 👏 Stolas 👏 both 👏 used 👏 eachother 👏 to get 👏 what 👏 they 👏 wanted:
Antis: Stolas is a coercive r*pist!
Me: Okay, first of, Unhappy campers clearly showed that Blitzø knew how to get to the human world without the Grimoire.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He just decided to use "the easiest ticket to earth" instead.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Therefor, he didn't actually need the book and hasn't been forced to do anything. He didn't need to steal from Stolas to get his buissness going.
Antis: But he blackmailed Blitzø into having sex with him!
Me: 👀...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Antis: B-But Stolas started it!!
Me: Stolas was teasing him and Blitzø choose to use that to his advantage:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is what I mean by "They both used eachother to get what they wanted". They are both at fault. They were both missleading the other.
And honestly, can you blame Stolas for thinking this was a mutual thing. He thinks that this is what Blitzø wants.
Tumblr media
And then, he was litterly blindfolded when Blitzø started to leave. He didn't know about his real intentions yet. He still thinks that Blitzø was there to ravish him and that this is all part of some kind of roleplay (something we do know for a fact that they use in the bedroom thanks to Full Moon). Like, when Blitzø was flirting and teasing him like that, what was he supposed to think?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Antis: ...But Stolas made Blitzø feel bad in order to get him to stay!
Me: Again, Blitzø was the one who STARTED to flirt with HIM. So Stolas saying this (see screenshots bellow) had nothing to do with blackmail or making him feel bad, but instead as a way to show Blitzø that he is so exicted that it's HIM, his first ever friend, that he gets to share this very first intimate moment with.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And thaaaaat's just facts.

Blitzø's mask was so good that a lot of antis fell for it too 😗
Blitz- Sex, Love, and Stolas
Tumblr media
In order to understand how Blitz has romantic feelings for Stolas, you have to understand Blitz's complicated relationship with sex in general.
Sex is a weapon
Sex is a tool
Sex is enjoyable and pleasurable
Sex is something he can get lost in when things are tough, and he doesn't want to be alone
Sex is a means of getting what he wants
Sex is what he's good at
Sex is one of the only things he finds value in himself in
Sex is a way he can get his feelings out
Sex is the only way he knows how to show love
Unlike Stolas, who fell for Blitz almost instantly and saw sex with him as a way of being close with him. Blitz isn't like that.
Yes, Blitz can automatically find someone sexually attractive, but finding someone sexually attractive isn't the same as falling in love with them.
For Blitz, it takes time for him to fall in love with people. It doesn't come easy to him because, for Blitz falling in love with someone is the same as showing weakness, and Blitz doesn't do weakness.
Blitz puts on this mask of bravado because he uses it as a defense mechanism to keep people at arm's length. For Blitz, he's had this mask on for so goddamn long that it just comes natural to him, it's the same as breathing.
As a result, sex in a way, became one of Blitz's only ways of getting his emotions out, without the need to talk and communicate his feelings. Blitz can't talk his feelings out because that's scary, but he knows how to fuck people, so he uses sex to show he cares.
That's why Blitz sought comfort in the 'transactional fucking' he had with Stolas because it was a way for him to be close with Stolas, and be in a relationship, BUT it was also an excuse Blitz could use to keep Stolas at arm's length.
Because of the nature of their relationship, Stolas ended up becoming one of Blitz's longer lasting relationships. And that is how Blitz was able to slowly, and subconsciously develop actual romantic feelings for him.
Through sex with Stolas, through the complicated nature of their relationship, Blitz was able to delude himself and get lost into his very own fantasy where he could have one thing he truly wants, but he doesn't think he deserves: a 'boring as fuck monogamy'.

Blitzø's Name In The End Credits
A while ago, I saw someone point out that Blitzø's name on recent episodes (in the credits) had an X over the O and went to check it out. It turned out to be true and decided to keep track of it until it'll change again.
I wasn't going to search deeper than that, mostly waiting on how it'll go but I decided to check if it was any different than the ø that we're supposed to know. So...
Tumblr media
When I saw this in season 1 episode 1, my jaw was on the floor.
I'm sure people have pointed this out before, I've only seen about the recent X over the O but I'm sure this ain't new. Part of me had noticed but when months pass between episodes and you don't actually pay attention to the credits, the change is so minor that it kind of never happened in my mind.
But the fact of the matter is-
Tumblr media
all of season 1 had Blitzø's name written with the o. No "silent O", just Blitzo. Until...
Tumblr media
Queen Bee.
If people were around, they know Queen Bee did not release after Ozzie's but we're pretty certain it was done way before season 2 began (even though it released in the middle of it). Anyway.
Maybe the change from the o without a line and the ø with the line wasn't so weird when it happened, especially since season 2 was out and the change had already been implemented, as seen below ↓
Tumblr media
But it only lasts up until Western Energy. After that...
Tumblr media
The X appears.
This is definitely on purpose, I simply can't figure out the purpose. My only theory is that it's supposed to represent Blitzø's declining mental health and severe self-hatred/low self-image taking a hold. I do not know. I can only point out the events on the previous episodes before the changes were done.
Ozzie's/Finale: Blitzø was faced with his past in the most disastrous way, ending with the start of his relationship with Stolas falling apart. His self image crumbled further.
Western Energy: Blitzø was faced with the fact that Stolas can get/be hurt. His view of the immortal/untouchable Stolas crumbled. Assumption, he might blame himself for not being there.
I don't know, I'm just thinking and I'll probably be obsessed with this until we see what else they do.

Striker-stans (Not dissing normal Striker fans who knows that Striker is not as innocent or heroic as the toxic stans think he is) wants him to be like Blitzø so bad 😒
I'll admit it!
Tumblr media
I prefer Striker as the fraud that he's showing up to to be than the completely capable jerk that he was in his first episode.
Because that's what he is: a hypocritical faker that is basically Blitz's foil and antithesis.
Tumblr media
Compare the two, if you will.
Both are very ambitious imps who don't take no for an answer, hate being told what to do and don't intend to let society or classist views tear them down. And they're both very charismatic leaders to boot.
There's a reason why Blitz was impressed by Striker, and the latter considered the former a "credit to his race": game recognizes game.
Tumblr media
But that's where the similiarities end.
Because there's one element that makes them VERY different characters, and makes sure Blitz would NEVER join him.
Tumblr media
Blitz may believe that he ruins lives everywhere he goes, but the truth of the matter is that his proud charisma has charmed others to take charge of their own destinies, and his belief in others (Moxxie included) has changed their lives for the better.
Moxxie escaped his mafia family, Millie found the courage to believe that she could achieve much more in life, Loona was saved from a sure death in the pound, Stolas took charge to make his own choices in life, and Fizz is living a happier life with Asmodeus rather than the awful circus run by Cash.
Blitz lifts others up to let them achieve more than they would've ever believed.
Tumblr media
But Striker?
He kicks his fans, brutalizes Millie and especially Moxxie, he fancies himself to be worthy to work for the royals he so "wants to bring down". He views ALL imps as inferior to him, and only Blitz could match him if only he could join him.
Tumblr media
Striker isn't a hero for imps: he's a buffoon with a huge ego who constantly builds himself up by bringing everyone down. And Blitz does NOT take kindly to anyone who disrespects his team.
His modus operandi isn't to benefit imp kind, it never was: it was all about him and his pride.
And this makes him a LOT more compelling.
Tumblr media
-Sincerly, a Helluva Boss fan who thinks Striker is much better in his following episodes rather than his debut.

I genuinely GENUINELY believe that throughout the entire fight at the end of full moon, Blitzo genuinely believes that this is about a book and sex.
Tumblr media
I fully believe that when he begs Stolas, he truly truly believes that it’s for the book. He is genuinely panicking about the book.
Tumblr media
(As opposed to popular opinion, that he was using “I need the book” to disguise wanting to say “I need you”)
And it isn’t until the LAST SECOND
The VERY LAST
Tumblr media
In the calm of the storm, it finally hits him.
Tumblr media
This (the fight, his anger, the transaction) wasn’t about a book at all. It really wasn’t even about good sex, either.

I am absolutely convinced that when Blitz was pulling everyone out of the portal it was just Brandon going completely off-script and naming whoever he could remember or think of.

I'm increasingly perplexed by why Cash (and by extension Blitzø ) has spikes/spines when AFAIK no other imp does (please correct me if Im wrong!!)
He also has these massive claws and Barbie seems to have gotten that gene.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So what's this dudes deal? It's such a dumb detail to agonize over but I wanna KNOW WHYY, or at least see other imps with this shit going on lmao.
bc it's kind of sexy (ON BLITZØ AND BARBIE. ONLY BLITZØ AND BARBIE I SWEAR 😭)

This is what I have been saying too!
Why Stolas did not mention Stella at all during the trial, a sort of in-depth answer.
Short Answer: Stolas was not aware that Blitz was accused of forcing himself on Stolas and that Blitz was also accused of hiring Striker to assassinate Stolas, meaning that Stolas assumed that the only charge against Blitz was in regards to the illegal use of the grimoire and nothing else.
Long Answer:
Before I start, please do not say anything like this: 'but Stolas could've done this-', we are not talking about what Stolas could've done, we are talking about what Stolas actually did in the episode instead.
Pay attention to exactly when Stolas is made aware that Blitz is on trial, it's a bit after when Satan starts to broadcast Blitz's execution to all of the seven rings, you know, after all the charges Andrealphus accused Blitz of stuck.
By the point that Blitz's execution appeared on Stolas' TV screen, Satan had long since finished reading out the charges that Blitz got sentenced to death for.
Tumblr media
When Stolas arrived, there was literally nothing to suggest to Stolas that Blitz was accused of hiring Striker during the trial, mainly because by the time Stolas had arrived at the trial, Striker was already far away from the courtroom.
Plus, the discussion regarding the accusation of Blitz forcing himself upon Stolas had been long over by the point when Stolas arrived as well.
Tumblr media
Also, Andrealphus' plan relied on keeping Stolas in the dark about the court proceedings, keeping Stolas specifically in the dark about the accusations of Blitz forcing himself on Stolas and the accusation of Blitz hiring Striker to assassinate Stolas.
So, there was no reasonable point in time where Stolas could've actually learned about said accusations.
It also makes complete sense as to why Stolas assumed that the only charge against Blitz was the illegal use of the grimoire if you think about it like this:
Just imagine you're Stolas in this scenario, Blitz is an imp you've had completely consensual sex with quite a few with by this point, you also know that Stella was the one who hired Striker, and you also know that the grimoire arrangement you and Blitz used to have is also incredibly illegal, something of which you've pointed out directly two times by this point in time.
"Less than legally."
Tumblr media
"Without breaking demon law."
Tumblr media
So it's quite natural that Stolas assumed that the only charge against Blitz was the illegal use of the grimoire, aka 'accessing the mortal coil without clearance or procedure', because there was nothing else other than the illegal use of the grimoire that Stolas could've reasonably thought about that would've sent Blitz in the same courtroom with Satan, and warrant a death sentence at the same time.
Not to mention that the whole song Stolas did would've made literally zero sense if Stolas was aware that Blitz was accused of hiring Striker to assassinate Stolas, because as many people have pointed out by now, Stolas is implying that he hired Striker to assassinate himself, but again, Stolas is not aware that Blitz got accused of hiring Striker to assassinate Stolas.
So that's exactly why Stolas never mentioned Stella during the trial.

Just in case you forgot...
Tumblr media
Sometimes I feel like people forget that Blitzø is the titular main character of the show. He is the hell of a boss. The show is about him.
Sure, Stolas may be getting a lot of focus episodes as of late, but it's only because he's this red lizard's main love interest.
Did people forget that? Like, seriously?
Yes, Stolas is an integral part of the show. That much is obvious. However, one of the primary reasons he's so important is because he's being built up as Blitzø’s love interest. These guys are endgame, they have always been endgame.
I need people to understand that if Stolas completely moves on from Blitzø, then that's equivalent to him being written off the show.
You guys know Bojack Horseman, right? One of Viv's all time favorite shows? You guys know Holly Hock? Let's just say if Stolas pulls a Holly Hock, than we won't be seeing him anymore.

Keep thinking about an argument I had with a Stella defender who said that Via "doesn't give a fuck" that she's growing up in a dysfunctional household? I just... what? Was it not everyone else's assumption that she was just emotionally numb as a trauma response? Figured that was kind of obvious from the fact that she doesn't react much to what's going on around her, but the song she's listening to is literally singing "my world is burning down around me."
Tumblr media
What an odd way to try to exonerate Stella and brush off her traumatizing Via by abusing Stolas in front of her

Out of context for this post but, GOD Octavia is so CUTE! I get serious cuteness aggression whenever I see her, I swear to god 🥰
We don't talk enough about just how excited Via was on the morning of Seeing Stars. How there doesn't seem to be a single cell in her body that would've thought Stolas could've possibly forgotten about the stars. Showing us how rare (this is possibly the first time?) it is for Stolas to forget their plans.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I will die on the hill that if it wasn't for Stella and the divoce being on his ass (and eventually the worry of looking for Via), Stolas would've 100% remembered Azathoth's Tears, because it only took Via saying "the stars you promised" for him to remember.
