Do you think Rhaenyra and Daemon would work together to get the Reader? I can see them forming a shaky truce and marrying after their spouses die, but still pushing for their respective sons to marry the Reader. Jace and Daemon's son constantly compete for the Reader’s love. I can also see Luke and Joff/Baela and Rhaena backing up their respective bros and adding to the chaos. Meanwhile, Aegon and Aemond are fuming at King’s Landing.
A big reason why Leanor and Rhaenyra’s marriage happened in the first place is under an agreement to share the reader, it was also a deal made between Viserys and Corlys. Daemon and Rhaenyra while marrying out of desire, also did under a similar agreement. But while they agreed to share her they are also simultaneously maneuvering behind each other’s backs on whose son she marries.
With the marriage done so soon after their children’s death, Corlys and Rhaenys aren’t all too happy. In fact, they had hoped that they take the reader to themselves and have her reside on Driftmark.
Surprisingly, Rhaenys finds herself taking Daemon’s side, trying to persuade the reader to wed Viserion. Rhaenys even goes as far as to propose letting Jace wed Baela and Luke to Rhaena. However, even if Rhaenyra ever agrees to this proposal, she’ll continue to find ways to bring Jace and the reader close, having him accompany her whenever she goes, and even letting her ride Vermax during travels.
Daemon, on the other hand, relies on Viserion to do it himself, he is his father’s son after all. Viserion is much more forward, participating in tournaments, and vying for the honor of crowning the reader, challenging any suitors who dare come between him and her.
The siblings also choose sides, with Luke and Joffrey supporting their brother and Baela and Rhaena doing the same to theirs. Baela and Rhaena have a better advantage as they can easily enjoy girl time with the reader, akin to sleepovers where they persuade you into giving in to their brother's advances. However, Luke and Joffrey somehow find a way of tricking you to help them with something only to find yourself conveniently alone with Jace.
Despite, Viserion appearing to have an apparent advantage, it all changes when Viserys comes in. He of course advocates for Jace, in his eyes the reader deserves nothing more than to be a queen, and what a wonderful queen she’ll make. He’s also had his issues over the reader’s namesake, being Laenor’s daughter she had to have his Velaryon name; marrying Jace would solve all that without causing any problems with the Velaryons. Funny enough, Daemon himself finds weding Viserion to be a solution to that issue as well.
Otto and Alicent, predictably, oppose both matches, with Alicent seeing all faults in Nyra’s sons and Otto is vehemently against the idea of a marriage between the reader and Daemon’s son. The two are doing all they can do to sabotage any potential matches, Otto is sure that all he needs is some time for when Aegon becomes king, they can just wed them.
Meanwhile, it doesn’t take one to say that the animosity between Aegon and Aemond is growing, but it intensifies with Viserion and Jace. Whenever the family visits, it usually ends with a fight breaking out. To prevent any possible accident mishaps, no more than one can participate in any tourneys.

What you're favorite female Targ says about you
(For simplicities sake, I'll only mention the ones who have the last name Targaryen but I'll be skipping out on ones we don't know enough about from Daenerys of Dorne to Egg's daughters.)
Daenys - You hyperfixate on long dead characters who did 1 important thing that changed the history of the world.
Visenya - You want to bed her AND you want to be her at the same time. You heard "dark, sensual, unforgiving" and found it the sexiest description ever. You almost see her as a goddess rather than a person, you practically worship her.
Queen Rhaenys - You love a women with duality. You respect House Targaryen's matriarch for having hobbies, having fun with pretty boys, & burning entire armies. You also hate the Dornish.
Rhaena the Black Bride - Fat chance you aren't straight. You think she should have been Queen regnant (you'd be 100% right) & you're a Maegor & Jaehaerys's anti. You have a soft spot for sexy sad women
Alysanne - You love a girlboss who can manage motherhood & a 9 to 5 job. You also appreciate how she's the only Targaryen who fought for SEVERAL WOMEN's rights, not just her own.
Aerea - You're a rebellious teen who had a rough upbringing. Her death broke you because you know she deserved so much better.
Septa Rhaella - Are you sure your favorite character isn't just Rhaena?
Alyssa - You also want to ride 2 dragons (Meleys & Baelon).
Maegelle - You love a good nun.
Daella - You're want someone to take care of you for your whole life, except unlike Daella, you're not scared, you're just lazy.
Saera - You love a girl who serves cvnt (quite literally). You're the biggest Jaehaerys hater.
Viserra - You're incredibly pretty and incredibly petty. You know how the world hates to see pretty girls winning.
Gael - You probably have a helicopter parent.
Rhaenys the Queen who Never Was - You're a feminist & you love girlbosses. You 100% hate Jaehaerys and you have 0 love for Viserys I who you think she should have been Queen instead of.
Rhaenyra - You're a feminist & you were 100% the favorite child growing up. If you have a step-parent or half-siblings, you definitely hate them.
Helaena - You're probably a show enjoyer first & foremost. You probably simp for Aemond who you ship her with.
Baela - You might be a tomboy but not the "not like other girls" type of tomboy. You probably like at least 1 sport though & you're definitely a girl's girl.
Rhaena of Pentos - You love pretty aesthetics & Barbie was probably you're favorite movie of 2023.
Jaehaera - You hyperfixate on tragic minor characters. Bonus points if you're neurodivergent.
Naerys - You're either a sad catholic girl or you hyperfixate on tragic female chracters.
Daena - You love baddies who don't take anyone's shit. You might have grown up in a toxically religious household.
Septa Rhaena - You think Baelor the Blessed was the best Targ King.
Elaena - You like a woman with a brain.
Queen Rhaella - You hyperfixate on tragic female characters.
Daenerys - You love a bad bitch (affectionate) and you will not apologize. You also genuinely have good taste & hated GoT season 8.

Tumblr media
“Let it be known that Heirs Prince Aemond and Princess Y/N of House of Targaryen are one heart, one flesh, one soul. Cursed be he who would seek to tear them asunder.” the High Septon announced to the crowd as by Alicent’s request married you two under the Seven. “In the sight of the Seven, I hereby seal these two souls, binding them as one for eternity. Look upon one another and say the words.”
“I am hers,” Aemond said as he kept his focus on you. Though it was not very hard for him, considering you were the only thing on his mind.
Never imagining the day would come that you would be able to marry your beloved so soon, and even with the obvious split between your families, they were able to join for the day in spite of their differences. Rhaenys, Helaena, and Alicent had helped you prepare for the day and warmed your heart for your favorite loved ones to help you on quite the occasion.
You wore a light gold lace dress with a long, caped train with small emeralds adorned all around the dress. You wore your hair down with curls with two crowning braids to flow to your back with an emerald tiara sitting on the top of your head. You were a magnificent sight to see with true beauty glowing from within you.
“I am his,” you said as you looked down at your conjoined hands.
“And she is mine,” Aemond said bringing your attention back to him.
“And he is mine.”
“From this day, until the end of my days.”
“With this kiss, I pledge our love,” Aemond finished as he pulled you in a long-awaited kiss. You smiled into the kiss wrapping your arms around his neck as his hands moved to your hips. You moved forward slightly to lean more into him and he let out a groan against your mouth. He stilled in the kiss, keeping your hips in place from moving further.
You hear cheers and whistles throughout the crowd as you continued to kiss Aemond. As you two separated from the kiss you saw to your right your family with a frown on their face at the witness of the union between Aemond and you. Though as you looked to your left seeing Aegon whistle howls as Helanea cheers for you. Alicent had silent tears running down her face as she was so proud of the people you and Aemond have grown into in the past year. Even Viserys watched from his chair with a smile on his face seeing his granddaughter and son marry one another.
She would never forget the day you stuck by his side in that hall against your entire family. She was so glad that Aemond found someone who would stick by his side no matter the cost.  Aemond deserved that and so much more in your mind. You give your night stars to see them shine upon Aemond. As he would give his sun, just to make sure it would brighten your path. It was obvious to everyone that you two truly loved each other.
The only person that would make your special day even better would be your father, Laenor. Even after all these years, you would never forgive your mother for the hand she played in his death, making sure she knew your growing resentment towards her. It had gotten to the point where you thought not to have them at the ceremony, but against your better judgment, you allowed it for your siblings.
Tumblr media
Everyone seemed to be having a good time at dinner as laughter filled the room. You and Aemond sat at the center of the table with your grandfather, Viserys, and Alicent sitting beside you to your left.  Helena was seated next to Aemond, Aegon sitting beside her, and to the King’s left sat Princess Rhaenys and Lord Corly who sat at the head of the table with no one sitting from across him. Chatter was filled around the table with constant laughs of jokes.
“I would like to make a toast to my wonderful, darling granddaughter Y/N and my son Aemond,” Viserys started as he took a stand from the table leaning onto his cane for support. “I am immensely proud of the people you have grown into today. I have no doubt that when my time is to pass you both will make great rulers of the realm. You have my complete faith and luck for this union between the both of you. I, as both your grandsire and father, love you both.”
It pained your heart to see your grandfather in the significant pain he was in, but still pushed himself to tribute to you and Aemond made you feel so grateful for him.
“Thank you, Grandfather. I will make you proud” you said as you stood to give him a hug as he sunk back down into his seat.
“I know you will,” he whispered to you quietly. “You will become our savior, Y/N. You are who is promised. Do not forget that.”
“Thank you, Father,” Aemond snapped you out of the deep thought your grandfather’s words put you in.
“I would like to thank everyone for attending here today,” you stood from your seat and announced to the room. “Both my husband, Aemond and I truly appreciate all of you being here. The seven realms included all of us together, and it is my goal we are to better our upcoming future. Here is to peace and unity!”
“HEAR HEAR!”
“ALL HAIL TO THE PRINCE AND PRINCESS!” Aegon yelled from his seat with the people repeating his words. You laughed at his actions knowing it was more from the relief off his shoulders than congratulating you and your husband. You looked to Aegon and gave him a slight nod in appreciation.
“May I have this dance, My love?” Aemond asked from beside you offering his hand as he stood.
“Well, of course,” you answered with a wide smile on your face, placing your hand in his and allowing him to lead you to the center of the room.
Once you got to the center, the music started to change as they got ready to play the song of the first dance. Your hands split as the both of you bowed down to each other. People seeing you and Aemond dance to the song was quite shocking to most as they would have never expected their prince to do so. Though neither of you paid mind to be the center of attention in the room, it was your day no one could ruin that for you.
“Avy jorrāelan,” Aemond whispered to you as he leaned his forehead against yours. (I love you.)
“Se, avy jorrāelan,” you replied. (And, I love you.)
Tumblr media
Aemond refused to have a bedding ceremony and you wholeheartedly agreed feeling there was no reason to have the men of the council watch. The King and Queen respected your wishes and came to the agreement that in the morning your handmaiden, Rena would check the sheets.
Believe it or not, you and Aemond have never gone further than getting off from the other’s mouth or hands. This would your first and his. You were senselessly nervous, but not a bit of you was scared. You trusted Aemond. Nothing would change that.
“We have waited too long for this night,” you heard Aemond say as you took off your jewelry and pins from your hair.
“You are just too eager,” you giggled while he came up behind you removing your hands from your hair.
He removed the pins from the tiara and unraveled your braids letting your hair fall relieving your scalp. His hands continued to massage your scalp making you let out spews of small moans. Then you felt warm kisses alongside your jaw moving down to your neck. You tilted your head to the side giving him better access as he left small bruises along your neck gently lapping them with his tongue after he created one.
He broke away from your neck letting you turn to face him. His lips pressed against yours and his hands moved to slip you out of your night dress which pooled around your ankles. You pulled away from the kiss to step over the dress and moved on to removing Aemond’s tunic. Your hands slipped under it allowing you to feel his toned torso. Once you removed the tunic, he pulled you back into a searing kiss. Grabbing your bear hips pulling you onto him. You felt the bludge from his pants and sneaked your hand to palm over it.
He moaned at your touch, tightening his grip on your hips. As you stood bare in front of him, he took off his pants allowing his hard length to spring up against his stomach. Of course, you have seen it before but never stopped you from worrying about how it would fit inside you.
“Wait,” you muttered as he approach closer.
“Is something wrong?” Aemond asked worriedly looking into your eyes in search of any regret or hesitation.
“I would like it if you were to take it off,” you told him referencing to his eye patch.
“Take what off?”
“The patch.”
“My love,” he replied with great hesitation.
You have seen his sapphire eye multiple times before he always took it off before going to bed but it would always be when you were already asleep. Sometimes you would be able to see him if you woke up early enough before him. You loved the way he looked, but you knew deep insecurities lay with him because of his scar and eye.
“I want to see all of you.”
“You have all of me,” he said pulling you against him. Which caused you to feel him pressed against you, he let out a moan at the contact.
“You know how much I love you.”
“And my love for you.”
“Please?”
“Go ahead,” he muttered looking down at you.
You raised your hands to the back of his head in order to remove the eye patch. Once you got it off, Aemond looked away from you not wanting to meet your eyes. You pulled his chin back to you and placed your hand on his scarred cheek letting your thumb gently glide over the scar.
“You are the most handsome man I have ever had the chance to meet,” you whispered in admiration for him.
“I do not need your lies,” he muttered in sudden coldness. You knew this was a sensitive thing for him to be able to be this vulnerable with you.
You cradled his face in your hands pulling him down closer to you, so you could press a kiss next to the sapphire that replaced his eye.
“I have never lied to you.”
“I’m sorry, My Love," Aemond regretted his harsh tone.
“It’s okay, there is nothing to be sorry about,” you replied pressing another light kiss near his eye. You led him to your shared bed, and you laid down on the bed as he went to straddle over you.
“Gevie,” Aemond said letting his hands roam on your naked body sliding over your sides. (Beautiful)
He leaned down to capture your breast in his mouth while massaging the other with his hand. You moaned at the feeling of him lapping his tongue over your hardened nib. He took it between his teeth and pulled on it slightly causing you to spew out curses and tangle your hands in his hair. He moved from one to another until you were a moaning mess.
“Aemond,” you breathed heavily as he without any warning slipped a finger inside you.
He slowly pumped his finger in and out of you before adding another to further stretch you for him. He took your moans by kissing you. His tongue explored your mouth as you both fought for dominance even though you knew he would win in the end. You felt your stomach tighten and your walls clench around his fingers.
“Let go, love,” he purred by your ear kissing over the small bruises he had left on you earlier.
He quickened his pace the lewd sounds of his fingers sliding in and out of you filled the chambers with your moans. You felt like a band snapped in your stomach as you released all over his fingers. Your body shook with pleasure as he worked you through your orgasm.
“My turn,” you smirked slowly sitting up from your position and pushing Aemond down onto the bed.
You took ahold of his length and pumped him with your hand. He let out low groans at the motion. You slid yourself down between his legs. You licked a long stripe along his shaft and slipped his tip into your mouth before pulling away. Teasing him with featherlight kisses on his thighs and along his shaft wanting to see him lose composure.
“Y/N,” he warned. “Now is not the time to tease.”
“Who said I was teasing?” you joked before slipping him into your mouth. Pushing yourself down his length slowly until you stopped where he hit the back of your throat.
Aemond gathered your hair out of your face and held it to the back of your head. With his other hand, he pushed you down further until you felt your nose pressed against his pelvis. Tears filled your eyes, but they encouraged you to please him even more. You let yourself still and try to take breaths through your nose as you let Aemond take control. His hips thrust against your face, and he fucked your throat raw.
Tears flowed from your eyes freely now, but you let him find his release by using you. That was until he stopped and guided your head all the way down his length. You felt the warm substance fill your throat as he moaned.
“Get up.”
Aemond found himself losing patience, which caused him to pull you up himself and flipped you around causing you to yelp at the sudden action. He slides his length through your slick and pushed the tip into you before pulling back out. He looked back down at you to lean down to kiss you once again.
“Aemond, please,” you begged.
“Patience, ābrazȳrys,” he smirked. (wife)
He pushed inside you slowly allowing him to sink into your warmth. He stilled for a moment inside you allowing you to adjust to his size. The feeling of fullness engulfed you making your mind a blur. Aemond groaned as you clenched your walls around him.
“Relax,” Aemond whispered.
He began rocking back and forth barely pulling out of you before pushing back in deeper. He bottomed out to quickly push himself back fully into you. He repeatedly brushed against that spot in you causing you to tightly wrap your legs around his waist in order to pull him closer to your body. He grunted as he felt you squeeze your walls around him tightly. The moans that left your lips encouraged him to quicken his pace as he had a bruising grip on your hips.
“Ao issi ñuhon,” Aemond groaned against your lips. “Say it.” (You are mine.)
“Nyke aōhon,” you replied with heavy breaths as you felt your release approaching you. (I am yours)
“As I am yours.”
“Aemond,” you moaned.
“Now, love,” he commanded.
Sweat glistened on both your bodies as you released around him, Aemond searched for his own release still snapping his hips against yours. Your body felt like it was on fire from the overstimulation. You felt yourself reaching your third orgasm as your walls closed in on him again. Aemond stopped his thrusts and hilted deep inside as he filled you with his cum.
“There. Maybe in a few moons, we will see you all nice and round with my babes,” Aemond said as he pushed more into you as if he were trying to push his cum more into your womb.
Tumblr media
“Good-sister! You are glowing like the sun,” Helaena smiled at you as Aemond and you approached the table for breakfast.
“Thank you, Helaena, that is very kind of you,” you thanked taking one of her hands in yours and giving it a slight squeeze in appreciation as you took the seat beside her.
“How was the wedding night?” Aegon teased from beside Helaena with a knowing smirk.
“Brother, I will make you not able to enjoy such pleasures if you keep talking,” Aemond warned as you giggled at their banter.
“Children,” The Queen scolded from her seat. Your grandfather was the only one missing from the meal as everyone took their attendance. Even Rhaenrya and her family were there eating silently.
“Sorry, mother,” the two apologized as if they were two kids caught stealing from the kitchens.
“My sweet child, you and Aemond must visit Driftmark soon. The tides have been calling for you,” Lord Corlys told you.
“Of course, grandfather. Aemond and I were actually discussing a few nights ago,” you smiled at him.
“How wonderful! We will get your old chambers ready as soon as we arrive back,” Princess Rhaenys said joyfully.
“Baela, Rhaena, how are my brothers treating you?” you asked turning your attention to the two young ladies who still held a grudge against you but now for the favoritism from your shared grandparents.
“I do not see how it is any of your concern,” Baela snipped.
“Baela,” Daemon warned.
“What she meant was they are great,” Rhaena responded for the both of them.
“I am glad to hear,” you tried to say gently.
There was a knock on the door and Alicent told them to enter. A messenger approached the table going towards you which made Aemond quickly stand in front of you in defense. You saw a letter in the messenger’s hand, so you motioned for your husband to stand aside allowing the messenger to hand the letter to you.
“A raven came in this morning, it is addressed to you, My Princess.”
“Why, thank you,” the messenger left the room in a rush after.
You opened the letter that was a notice that someone of the name Addam of Hull was going to arrive at King’s Landing within the next moon. You wondered who the person was for them to address the letter to you. As you tried to recall the name, you noticed everyone still staring at you waiting for you to tell them about the letter.
“Does anyone know an Addam of Hull?” you questioned as you searched everyone’s faces for some sign of confirmation, but you noticed Rhaenrya and Daemon give each other a brief look of worry though you chose against mentioning it yet.
“Is that who wrote?” Rhaenyra questioned with underlying fright looking down at the letter in your hands.
“Yes.”
“I have never heard of an Addam of Hull,” Alicent told you.
“I am not completely certain, but I do believe he is the one who bonded with Seasmoke a few moons after Laenor’s death,” Corlys wondered aloud.
“My father’s dragon?” your eyes widen at the revelation.
“HE IS NOT YOUR FATHER!” Daemon shouted springing up from his seat and slamming his fists down on the table.
“He was more of a father than you ever were. He is my true father, the one who loved and protected me!” you snapped back at Daemon who stared at you with a look of hurt glazing over his eyes.
“Sweetheart, calm down,” Rhaenys soothed.
“I recommend you sit down, Uncle. Unless you want to be excused from the table,” Aemond told Daemon menacingly.
“Daemon,” Rhaenyra pleaded to her husband.
“It will do you good if you remember whose blood you are,” Daemon spat as he sat down.
“That is rich of you to say as my brothers and even myself are considered bastards,” you laughed at the hypocrisy.
“Y/N!” Rhaenyra scolded.
“What? I’m telling the truth,” you scoffed getting up abruptly and walking out of the room with Aemond following behind you.
Tumblr media
“My love,” Aemond said from behind you catching up easily with his long strides.
“Aemond, they know something,” you said in exasperation turning to your husband.
“And we will get to the end of it, but we must keep our minds clear.”
“I think I know who Addam of Hull is.”
“Who?” Aemond questioned.
“You will think I have lost my mind,” you whispered with hope filling your heart.
“I would never judge you.”
“Aemond, what if-”
“Y/N, I know what you are going to say, and I do not want you filling yourself with hope on assumptions.”
“Aemond.”
“My love, I know you miss him,” Aemond pushed a piece of fallen hair from your braid behind your ear before lifting your chin with his finger to meet his eyes.
“More than anything.”
“I do not want you to hurt your heart if it was not true.”
“I know it is absurd but what if?”
“That is exactly what it is. A what if. I am not saying it’s not possible, but it is unlikely. We held the funeral for him. You wept for weeks over the loss. I do not know if you could go through the grief again,” Aemond said taking you into his arms as you placed your head into his chest with tears flowing from your eyes.
“I do not know either,” you murmured.
Tumblr media
“Grandfather, it is me,” you sat next to Viserys beside his bed holding his hand and waiting for him to gain some sort of conscience.
“My Y/n. Hello, sweet child,” he said softly between breaths. You smiled as you noticed he remembered your name.
“Grandfather, I am here to tell you a story. Like you used to read to me,” you told him.
“What story is it today?” he questioned.
“The Song of Ice and Fire.”
“How wonderful,” he replied with aloofness.
“Aegon saw absolute darkness riding on those winds, and whatever dwells within will destroy the world of the living,” you started retelling what he told you all those years ago. “When this great winter comes all of Westeros must stand against it. And if the world of men is to survive, then a-”
“Targaryen must be seated on the Iron Throne,” Viserys said with a smile on his face.
“A king or queen, strong enough to unite the realm against the cold and the dark. Aegon called his dream ‘A Song of Ice and Fire.’” you continued. “This secret, it’s been passed from king to heir since Aegon’s time. One we must promise to keep and carry with protection.”
"From my blood come the prince that was promised, and his will be the song of ice and fire,” Viserys finished quietly.
“What was that, Grandfather?” you questioned.
“You. Are. The. ‘Prince’. That. Was. Promised,” Viserys answered with difficulty.
You thought back to your wedding night when Viserys told you, 'You are who is promised." At the time you
“Grandfather, I am afraid I do not understand.”
“You, my child, are the one to untie the Seven Kingdoms. You will bring peace to our people. Justice will serve under your reign,” Viserys said with full clarity giving your hand a light squeeze.
“Grandfather, I am scared.”
“I was too, but you will do great wonders.”
“I love you, Grandfather.”
“And I-i l-love you, my s-sweet Y/n. Y-you have done-e me proud,” Viserys coughed.
“I owe everything to your guidance,” you admitted to him.
“You are my legacy, Y/n. My gift to this kingdom was you,” he told you. “But now it is my time to reunite with My Aemma.”
“You have been an amazing grandfather and king,” you cried silently from his side as he took his last breath. “MAESTERS!”
“Y/n! What happened?” Aemond rushed into the room looking at you weeping at his father’s side knowing it only meant one thing.
“He is gone,” you croaked.
“I am glad, he left this world with you by his side,” Alicent said as she entered the room kneeling beside you.
“I am not ready,” you admitted.
“No one ever is,” Alicent comforted guiding you to stand letting Aemond take you in his arms allowing the maesters to get to work.
Tumblr media
“It is your great good fortune and privilege to be here to witness this, a new day for our city. A new day for our realm,” the day has come for your and Aemond’s coronation. “A new reign to lead us.”
Anxiousness filled your body. You were standing next to Aemond in your coronation gown that resembled a bit of your wedding dress, but now it was pure white and lacing gold. The white represented the new light within the kingdom.
“May the Warrior give them courage. May the Smiths lend strength to their sword and shield. May the Father defend them in their need,” the High Septon recited. “ May the Crone lift her shining lamp and light their way to wisdom.”
“The crown of the Peace passed down through generations for the King,” Alicent announced holding Viserys crown for Aemond.
“And a new, forged for the new Queen. Made from pure Valyrian steel and the finest jewels representing each house,” your grandmother Rhaenys told the crowd. Which was filled with thousands of people.
Standing at Alicent’s side were Aegon, Helaena, and Otto. To Rhaenys’ side were Corlys, Baela, Rhaena, Jacaerys, Lucerys, Rhaenyra, and Daemon. It was an obvious split between the two families. Conjoined together by you and Aemond who stood in the middle of them.
“Let the Seven bear witness, Y/N AND AEMOND TARGARYEN AS THE TRUE HEIRS TO THE IRON THRONE,” the Septon shouted as both Alicent and Rhaenys placed the crowns on you both. “TO YOUR KING AND QUEEN!”
All of a sudden Aemond turns to face you after the crowns are placed and kneels before you.
“All hail Her Grace, Y/N, First of Her Name, Queen of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lady of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm,” Aemond bowed to you.
You turned to look at your grandparents who were also bowing before you, and so were your siblings, Aegon, Helaena, Alicent, and even Otto. You notice from the corner of your eye that Rhaenyra had her head lowered beside Daemon as he was the one only who refuse to bow to you.
“Y/N the Queen!” Aemond finished off as he lifted his head to meet your eyes.
You lifted the ancestral dagger given to you by Lord Corlys from the House of Velaryon. The feeling was surreal. You looked to the audience in front of you who cheered in your honor. You only wished that your father and grandfather were there to see you.
“Y/N the Queen! Long live Y/N!” the crowd chanted.
“NO!”
“What was that?” Aemond sneered at the speaker.
“SHE IS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE QUEEN,” Daemon spat.
“YOU HAVE NO PLACE TO SPEAK TO YOUR QUEEN LIKE THIS,” Aemond barked back at Daemon.
You turned your attention to your husband who pointed BlackFyre at Daemon’s neck. Rhaenyra looked as if she were to burst into tears at any time. Baela and Rhaena looked at you with pleading eyes to do something to stop Aemond.
“GUARD! Please take Daemon and Rhaenyra Targaryen to the dungeons in await of a trial on the charges of the murder of Laenor Velaryon,” you commanded walking up to Aemond’s side. You place a hand on his forearm to guide his arm away from Daemon.
“You have no proof,” Daemon laughed as guards surrounded him and Rhaenrya.
“I have enough,” you said in anger.
“YOU KNOW YOU DID YOU, COWARD!” Lord Corlys shouted from his place. Princess Rhaenys stood next to him with unshed tears filling her eyes.
“Grandfather, please calm yourself. In the luxury of being royal, you are allowed a trial before further punishment. You will wait until further notice,” you pointed to Daemon and Rhaenyra who was being dragged by the guards.
Tumblr media
“WHAT THEY DID WAS TREASON!” Corlys petitioned the court in the throne room.
Aemond was very adamant that you were to sit on the Iron Throne. Not even willing to allow himself near the chair itself. He stood near the front of the clearing of swords with his hand on the hilt of BlackFyre.
“Lord Corlys, I agree with you wholeheartedly though I do want to hear their reasoning for the murder of my father,” you told him.
“YOU KNOW THEIR REASONING!” he shouted back in rising anger though it was not towards you but at the situation.
“Lord Corlys, that is the Queen you are speaking to,” Aemond warned him.
“Husband, it is alright. I understand his frustration,” you said trying to calm everyone down.
“For the murder of my son, I want their head,” Corlys sneered at Daemon and Rhaenyra.
“Grandfather, this is a trial and they will have a chance in defending their absurd actions,” you snipped in. “Prince Daemon and Princess Rhaenyra, please come forward.”
“Y/n,” Rhaenyra tried to call for you. “We never meant any harm.”
“No harm?” you scoffed. “You are responsible for the murder of my father, Ser Laenor Velaryon.”
“Oh for fuck’s sake,” Daemon started.
“We did not murder him,” Rhaenyra quickly pushed out of her mouth the guilt getting to her.
“What?” your expression was filled with shock. “No.”
“We threatened him,” Daemon shrugged.
“In what way,” you spat. “My father would have never left me.”
“With your life,” Daemon sneered.
The council gasped at the revelation. Questions floated around the room with the number one being “Was Laenor Velaryon alive?” no one knows. Daemon did not realize he just outed the truth of their actions, and that it was treason to threaten the life of the Queen. Rhaenyra looked at her husband with betrayal in her eyes. For she did not know that was what Daemon threatened Laenor with for him to “go away”.
“ENOUGH!” Aemond yelled. “I have had enough of this nonsense. YOU THREATENED THE LIFE OF THE QUEEN! FOR THAT I WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD.”
“Aemond,” you said taking his attention away from Daemon. “I have their punishment.”
“And w-what will that be, Your Grace?” Rhaenyra managed to get out.
“You will live in banishment with your families away from Westeros and stripped from your titles on the condition you must tell me, what you actually did to my father. And where his whereabouts are,” you announced to them. “If you choose not to cooperate with my given terms, I will let my husband be your executioner.”
“HE GOES BY A DIFFERENT NAME!” Rhaenyra blurted.
“Who cares where that cocksucker is,” Daemon scoffed. “I AM YOUR FATHER NOT HIM!”
“You are not a father of mine,” you snapped quickly quieting him.
“DAEMON, QUIET! THIS IS YOUR FAULT! STOP MAKING IT WORSE!” Rhaenyra snapped at him.
“And what is the name?” you questioned with your heart beating out of your chest in anticipation.
“Addam of Hull.”
The air left your lungs at the name. You looked at Aemond who had a wide smirk across his face and looked at you with a slight nod. Corlys and Rhaenys held each other in comfort at the news that their son was alive.  You did not want to believe it. Your father is alive even after all these years.
“Take them and their families out of the keep with no belongings and make sure their dragons are in the pit while they leave,” you commanded the guards.
“Y/N, you must find it in yourself to have mercy,” Rhaenyra pleaded.
“Your family has done far too much to mine,” you spat. “This is me, giving you mercy.”
Tumblr media
Everyone had left the Throne Room except you, Aemond, your grandparents, and a few of the guards and sworn shield. After the last lord left the room, you found yourself rushing to your grandparents' arms for comfort. Rhaenys held your head against her shoulder as you cried at the sudden relief in your body. After so many years of grieving for the sudden loss of your father, for it to now be revealed that he never died was unexplainable.
“Your Grace, there is someone at the gates,” a messenger came into the room alerting all of you.
“Well, who is it?” Aemond asked impatiently.
“I believe he said he goes by the name Addam of Hull? If I am not mistaken,” the messenger responded.
“Let him in,” Aemond commanded. “Quickly.”
“Aemond, what if he does not recognize me anymore?” as you made your way to your husband’s arms.
“You are unforgettable. He would never forget his daughter,” he answered.
“Introducing Addam of Hull.”
A man with a hood over his head walked into the throne room in silence. He avoided eye contact with everyone in the room until he came in close distance with you and Aemond. Which is when he slowly took off his hood showing a bald head. The man that stood before you was someone you knew all too well.
“My Queen, My King,” he greeted the both of you.
“None of that,” you whispered walking closer to him.
“I know you do not know who I a-” you cut him off with a bone-crushing hug.
He returned the hug immediately. You held onto him as if he would disappear the second you let go. He still smelled the same way he used to when you were a younger child. You buried your face into his shoulder letting out silent sobs.
“Father,” you pulled back to place your hands on his face to fully look at him. “You are back.”
“I am so sorry, my little love,” he apologized with tears flowing down his face. “I never meant to leave you, but I did it to protect you.”
“Father, what did they do to you?” wiping the tears off his face.
“He threatened him with such extreme measures, but I could not risk your life,” he cried pulling you back into his arms. “My sweet daughter, you mean for more than life itself. I would do it all again if it meant you would stay safe.”
“I have dealt with them,” you told him. “We will never have to worry about them again.”
“What?” he asked confusion filling his face.
“They are banished,” Aemond confirmed from behind you.
“My son,” Rhaenys cried out making her way to you two with Corlys trailing behind her.
“Mother. Father.”
“I will kill them,” Corlys sneered as he took his son into a hug.
“Grandfather, it is dealt with,” you calmed him. “There is no worst fate for them than my punishment.”
“They live with no title or fortune to their name, Lord Corlys. They will suffer greatly wherever they settle. It will be known even beyond Westeros that they are traitors,” Aemond reaffirmed to them.
“We will not stoop to their pettiness,” you told Corlys.
“Oh, my sweet daughter, look how much you have grown,” Laenor said softly admiring you. “I am sorry for all the time I have missed.”
“I understand, father.”
“You make a wonderful Queen,” Laenor complimented.
“I could not have done it without our family,”
“How much have I missed?” Laenor asked.
“Too much,” Rhaenys laughed. “Never again.”
Aemond wrapped his arms around your waist from behind you. You leaned back into his chest enjoying the reunion between your father and grandparents.
“Thank you for being my support,” you told Aemond.
“You deserve only the best of what life offers.”
“Aemond, truly, I love you, and thank you for sticking back by my side all these years.”
“You were by mine first,” he whispered into your ear. “I have loved you since the first moment I ever laid my eyes on you.”
“And I will love you till the end of my days,” you told him.
“Until our last breath,” he finished.
“I have news,” you raised your hand up to his scar, caressing the scar beneath his eye patch with your thumb.
“And what might that be?” Aemond raised his eyebrow at you in suspicion.
“I am with child, Aemond,” you smiled up at him. “I have already checked with the maesters to confirm.”
“I’m going to be a father?” he whispered in happy disbelief placing his hand on your stomach.
“A great one to our child,” you said as Aemond started to rub his hand on your stomach already imagining the child growing in you.
“Are you with child?” Rhaenys gasps bringing your attention back to your family which you gave her a nod.
“I’m going to be a grandsire?” Laenor yelped joyfully.
“Speak for yourself. I am going to be a great grandsire!” Corlys laughed excitedly.

𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧
Warnings: Hints of violence, character death, swearing
Pairing: Aegon ii Targaryen × OC
1.11
As you stand atop the hill of Rhaenys, watching as the masses are hurled like cattle towards the red keep, you hear the distant roar of a dragon approaching. The sky darkens as Vhagar swoops in from above, her dark scales glistening in the sunlight. It was hard to believe that the she-dragon was once ridden by Queen Visenya Targaryen during Aegon’s conquest, and after she died of a sudden illness, Prince Baelon Targaryen was the legendary dragon's next rider, followed by the late lady Laena Velaryon. A war-hardened dragon such as Vhagar deserves better than to be ridden by a kinslayer.
As you witness the dragons finally land on top of another hill, a feeling of anger begins to burn inside of you. You think about all the lives lost, all the families torn apart, and all the destruction that has been wrought upon House Targaryen. Your heart aches with grief and rage, and you vow to do whatever it takes to protect your remaining children.
As the chaos around you subsides, you feel a wave of exhaustion and grief wash over you.
Aeron, Harys, Aegon, Lucerys.
The weight of the losses your family has suffered, including the destruction caused by your own brother—your husband—becomes almost too much to bear. You collapse to the ground, tears streaming down your face as you mourn for the lives lost and the damage done.
Aeron, Harys, Aegon, Lucerys.
You mount Dallax and fly closer to the keep. As you continue to witness the coronation about to start taking place in the carriage that Aemond would be in, your rage begins to consume you. You can no longer see reason or think clearly, and all you can focus on is your desire for revenge against Aemond, which overtakes all logic.
As you contemplate the weight of the news, a dark thought begins to take hold in your mind. The memory of your firstborn son, lover, and nephew being killed by your husband, the new ‘king’, floods your thoughts. He had taken everything from you, including the life of the only person who would truly understand your pain, the only person who would be able to reason with you.
Dallax circles the castle a few times, letting out deafening roars and belching plumes of fire that set the empty grounds below ablaze, and before your mind fully comprehends your next instructions, you direct Dallax towards the part of the castle where Aemond’s quarters are and utter the words no dragon rider should say so easily.
“Dracarys.”
You arrive at Dragonstone, where your sister's army is waiting outside, ready to sacrifice their lives fighting for their queen.
The silence is eerie, and the only sound you hear is the gasps of those who see you walking through the hallways with dirt, ash, and blood covering your clothes, face, hair, and body as you make your way towards the chambers of the painted table. Hopefully Rhaenyra would be there so you could confess the outrageous act of war you had just committed. When the wind begins to blow harshly, the smell of smoke and death fills your nostrils, making you gag. You try to push forward, continuing your search for Rhaenyra.
As you approach the door to the room, you see two knights guarding it, one of them being Ser Erryk. Soon as the knight notices you, he swings the door open and calls for Prince Daemon, announcing your arrival.
As you wander through the room, you start to notice that nobody standing around the painted table can make eye contact with you. Lords avoid you, and even Princess Rhaenyes and Lord Corlys seem to be shying away from you. You start to feel a sense of unease and wonder what has happened in your absence.
A lump forms in your throat, and your voice begins to crack as you try to speak. Tears flow down your face uncontrollably as you struggle to maintain your composure.
“Empty the room!” Daemon barks before coming to stand in front of you, "Theodora."
Your words turn to sobs as you explain everything that happened to the best of your ability. “It’s my fault they’re dead,” you croak. “I tried to save Lucerys; I did; I tried to reach him in time."
Overwhelmed by emotion, you fall to your knees and continue to cry. You feel a deep sense of despair and desperation; the only thing keeping you from completely losing your mind was the need to hold and comfort your daughters. Your body shakes with sobs, and you feel helpless and lost.
Daemon crouches down in front of you and tilts your chin up, forcing you to look at him. “When word of what happened at Storm’s end reached Dragonstone, Rhaenyra immediately left to search for her son's body, but fishermen recovered a boy from the sea, a boy they swear they saw fall from the sky before his dragon crashed into the water.”
You can hardly believe what you're hearing. After all the devastation and loss, the news that your nephew may survive brings a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness. But you know it’s nothing more than your mind playing tricks on you; Lucerys was dead. You saw him die.
“He unbuckled his belt and leaped from Arrax, but Lucerys has been unconscious since he was brought home. He still may not survive.”
Tears roll down your cheek. “He’s alive?”
Daemon nods slowly.
“My son? Is he alive?"
“He is, princess.”
You fall forward and let out a loud wail. Aeron was alive; you’d get to see your sweet boy again. “Thank the gods." You notice tears forming in Daemon’s eyes when you lean back again. “And Aegon?”
“Badly wounded, he used his body to shield—Aeron.”
You scramble to stand again, but the pain in your stomach prevents you from doing so. Daemon offers you his hand to help you stand. “How bad is it?”
“The maesters say it’s pretty severe on one side.”
You wipe your eyes, smudging the soot on your face. “I need to see Aeron and my girls. Where are they?”
“I think it would be best if you bathed first.”
Exhausted, you huff, “I do not care about my appearance, uncle; I just want to see—”
“And you will,” he says, cutting you off. Daemon calls two servants in, ordering them to prepare your bath and to summon the maester. “Trust me, you need to bathe and be seen by a maester first.”
“No, I need to see my children, then, Aegon.”
“Aegon is at high risk of infection; they won’t allow you to see him in this state." Although his tone is harsh, there’s a hidden pain behind Daemon's eyes. “Your children will be scared if they see you like this.”
“I need to see them before talking to Rhaenyra.”
Daemon steps closer to you, letting out a deep sigh. “You can explain setting parts of the red keep on fire once you’ve seen them and been checked by a maester.”
Reluctantly, you agree.
The prince consort grits his teeth as he stares at the table in front of him. How many of these houses would change their allegiance now that they knew what Aemond was capable of? The lords and ladies of Westeros would say whatever it took to save their people. Not that the prince blamed them; deep down, he knew he’d commit any sin or break any oath to protect his family.
“You didn’t tell her.”
Hearing the hints of a scalding tone in Princess Rhaenys’s voice, Daemon clicks his tongue. “No, I didn’t.”
“She will find out one way or another.”
“I am aware,” he says sharply.
Rhaenys has been the voice of reason many times during council meetings; however, the princess wasn’t shy about calling others out, and now wasn’t the correct time to approach the prince, not when he was trying to figure out the blacks next move.
“Why did she need a maester?”
Daemon turns to face her, the look on his face making it clear he was already disinterested in the conversation. “The princess—”
“The princess?” Rhaenys chuckles. “What was it called her before? An insufferable Hightower cunt, I believe?”
“That was before she sacrificed the life growing inside her to try and save Lucerys.” He looks over Rhaenys shoulder and watches as the sun dips below the horizon. “Theodora’s bump is gone, and as she doesn’t have the child with her, I'm presuming the babe died. So I thought it was best not to say anything until she’s seen by the maester.”
As Daemon’s words sink in, a fleeting smile forms on the older woman's lips. It's rare for anyone to see the prince's softer side, let alone in the midst of such turmoil and tragedy. But Daemon showing sympathy to a girl he once considered an enemy was a reminder that not all is lost. Although not for a second did she envy him, as shortly Prince Daemon would need to inform his young niece that her daughter and sister were dead.

I was re-reading yan!mom Rhaenyra's hcs and read that if bby!reader was a male he would be engaged to Helaena, Baela or Rhaena (much to Rhaenyra's chagrin). So I was thinking of bby!reader as a kid hearing that Helaena may eventually marry Aegon and running to his mom to ask if the rumor is true, and his mom just says yes because she doesn't want her baby to get married with Alicent's daughter. BUT SHE WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THE ARGUMENT WITH HER LITTLE BOY.
Bby!reader with his small stature and head held high: Can we agree that Helaena deserves better than foolish Aegon?
Rhaenyra: Yeah…
Bby!reader: Do we agree that there is no one better than me in this world and therefore I am the best option for Helaena?
Rhaenyra about to have a heart attack: Baby, much to my regret if one day you have to marry it will be one of Daemon's daughters.
Baby Reader, with a smile and taking his mother's hands in his: I'm not denying marrying Baela or Rhaena, I'm simply saying that I can ALSO marry Helaena.
Yan mom Rhaenyra: . ..
Bby reader: Aegon the conqueror had two wives and Maegor had more than three, why couldn't I marry Baela, Rhaena and Helaena?
Daemon who was just passing by and heard the conversation, now glued to the door listening to how Rhaenyra is having an aneurysm: …
Rhaenyra: . .. .
Baby reader speaking with all the innocence in the world: Besides, no one is going to oppose mom, I am a Targaryen prince and rider of a three-headed dragon, as well as the second in succession to the iron throne.
Yan mom Rhaenyra, having a tic in her eye: You're not getting married, I'll make sure it doesn't happen--.
Baby reader about to cry: If I ask Grandpa Viserys, he will grant it to me.
Rhaenyra: .. .
Tumblr media
Daemon: Damn, this kid is a true Targaryen.

Polygamy is not strange to Targaryens, especially Maegor. But over the years this practice fell into disuse and Viserys is not in favor of this, but it is funny to imagine this scene happening because it is very possible.
Rhaenyra does not want to see her precious bby marrying anyone. She does not want you to have a wife, let alone three. She does not want to be replaced or that you love another woman other than her.
One wife might be accepted, much to Rhaenyra's dismay, but three wives? Oh, sweet, maybe you're going to have to deal with some issues.
In the meantime, I imagine Helaena and bby!reader would already be very close, Alicent encourages that her favorite grandson spend time with her children, especially with her daughter and she could not be happier to see you getting so well with Helaena. Rhaenyra would be irritated and as a form of retaliation, she would encourage you to spend more time with Rhaena and Baela, with the blessing of Daemon and Rhaenys.
However, I think this marriage could work out. Like, I really think this polygamic relationship would work, Rhaena and Baela are sisters and get along very well, Helaena would probably get along with her cousins and bby!reader gets along with all. It could work.
You know, we had Aegon and his sisters. Maegor and his six wives (Henry VIII vibes right there). And now we have Y/N and his cousins and his aunt.
Viserys isn't really in favor of polygamy but I can see him granting it to bby!reader as a way to please his grandson, much to the chagrin of Rhaenyra and probably Alicent. Because you know, Alicent doesn't mind marrying her only daughter to bby!reader, but she isn't a big fan of the fact that he married Rhaena and Baela either. And Rhaenyra we all know why, she is so freaking possessive of her bby.
Daemon is literally laughing at the situation, like his stepson is actually a real Targaryen. He doesn't care about the wedding, as long as bby!reader and Rhaena and Baela are happy, he's fine with that.
While Rhaenyra is freaking out about all of this-

If Jaehaerys was all about minimizing the power of Targaryen daughters but marrying them off to less-than-ideal suitors (love that idea), how do you think that applies to the match of Rhaenys and Corlys? Does it, even? Or does it need to, given expected Rhaenys's station at the time? He says she couldn't have picked a better man.
And, also, do you think this can be applied to Daemon's match with Rhea?
LETS DIG INNNN okay this got so longgggg but i was trying to be fair while also discussing like, so much sex crime-
So like the post said re: Alyssa & Baelon’s marriage, I think there's some interference from Alysanne here. Especially early on in their marriage, before she's made it clear that she can in fact live without his ass, I think we have several cases where he's ~indulging~ Alysanne's more romantic ideas about what ruling should look like and what being a targaryen should be about. Giving her wins that ultimately don’t cost him much (before she starts asking for things he doesn’t approve of).
I think by the time Rhaenys marries Corlys, Jaehaerys has already written her off as a potential heir, but if he denies her marriage to Corlys, that risks not only pissing off Corlys - who imo already has A Whole Thing about being Just As Valyrian As The Targaryens, so he will take offense - but also tips Alysanne off to the fact that he has no intention of letting the crown pass to Rhaenys or her sons. He knows this is a sore spot for her because she insisted that little Daenerys be considered crown princess and heir over Aemon, and Jaehaerys already brushed her off about that. So if he tries to marry Rhaenys off to like, a Tully who already has three heirs or some random Darry, Alysanne is going to argue that Rhaenys deserves a much loftier match given her status, and get really paranoid about why Rhaenys is getting a shitty match. I think he's trying to put off naming Baelon as his/Aemon’s heir for as long as possible because he knows it's going to be a fight, especially given that Alysanne is usually the one in charge of marriages, and this has precedent (that marriages are the Queen's domain - Visenya and Rhaenys made marriage matches as well).
But also. I think (and I can't believe I'm gonna do my man Ned dirty like this) that like Ned (bleh), Jaehaerys learns the "wrong lesson" from his sister. Rhaena married extremely beneath her and that caused major problems for her, so Jaehaerys is making sure that Rhaenys doesn't marry far beneath her as well. Because see, Rhaena spends much of her life miserable, without a direction in life, without even a castle to her name that she can hide out in. Everything that is hers is actually Jaehaerys' and it eats away at her until the day she dies. Beyond that, keeping Rhaena on as a guest is expensive because people want to see her, because she comes with her own household, and because she has a whole ass dragon that needs to be fed. So even if she wanted to live off the goodwill of others, that goodwill runs out quick due to logistics. She only gets Harrenhal because Maegor Towers is sickly and the last of his line, and even then, it's not really hers - it belongs to the crown.
I think Jaehaerys looked at how unhappy she was and what a huge pain in the ass it was, and figures he needs to give Rhaenys a consolation prize in a way he doesn’t need to give to the younger daughters, bc they never had a chance to inherit. Rhaenys has assumed the crown will pass if not to her then to her son, as has Alysanne, and I think its likely Aemon and Jocelyn also assumed that the crown would pass to Rhaenys' eventual son. Jaehaerys can’t just deny her all the trappings of being crown princess/mother to a king and expect her to take it lying down. And to be clear, I do think there’s some emotional aspect to this - I think he did feel guilty over stealing Rhaena’s crown and throne even if he felt he was doing it ~for the good of the realm bc Aegon had died. When Rhaena makes her “you are rhaenys i am visenya i have always known this” comment, she nails the dynamic, but I think Rhaena being the ~rejected bride~ does hurt Jaehaerys - she deserved, in his eyes, to grow old with their brother and have the power of a queen consort. BUT. At the same time, he’s a raging violent misogynist who believes Alysanne is the only exception to her gender, that it is simply right and natural that a woman only derives power from her husband. It’s why Baelon gets to claim Balerion when he’s young, but Alyssa is barred until her wedding. A dragon is a responsibility, a realm is a burden, and in his eyes Alyssa Velaryon, Rhaena, and Visenya all failed to live up to the challenge. So yes, he wants something good for Rhaenys - he wants her to have a happier life than Rhaena did, and he’s willing to gamble just like he did with the Baelon/Alyssa marriage, and indulge Rhaenys and Alysanne in giving her a dragon and a husband who could back her claim because she needs something to keep her calm when he inevitably usurps her, in contrast to the way Rhaena had absolutely nothing to distract her from her misery. And his gamble pays off is the thing - he neutralizes her dragon and her husband bc Corlys is off fighting still when the announcement is made, and Rhaenys is heavily pregnant and probably not really riding Meleys. He figured - bc of his love for Alyssa, Alysanne, and Rhaenys, however goddamn deranged and ultimately meaningless that love is - that he could move the pieces enough to get the outcome he thought was best and he was right!
For Daemon's part, I do think this is part of why Alysanne ships him off to the Vale yes. Notable to me that every marriage match does have a seat of their own, even if it's not an important one, unlike second son Androw Farman - Daella would have gotten the Eyrie, Viserra would have gotten White Harbor, and while none of Saera's matches were lofty they were all heirs with nice enough seats. But Daemon would run into a similar problem where it would be too expensive to keep him around if he marries some random noble lady living with her dad, but if he marries too high up that’s just as bad, so giving him an heiress and then kicking him the fuck out is a good way to deal with him.
BUT. I actually do have a conspiracy theory here that something happened at KL that caused a huge stir within the family and Alysanne dealt with it by shipping Daemon off. What happened? Well...obviously I think Viserys and Daemon got caught fucking lmao, I call myself a Visaemon truther for a reason. I do also think there's a chance that Alysanne suspected Daemon was fucking around with Gael as well - they're only a year apart, they grew up in King’s Landing together, Gael & Alysanne have been back at court a few years, Targaryens love to do that stuff, etc. I’m not saying he IS the father, the timeline is close enough that they could have fucked around but not close enough to have gotten her pregnant - he marries Rhea in 97 and Gael disappears from court in 99. But my other conspiracy about Jaehaerys being the father does kinda fit this too - that Alysanne noticed something was up but suspected the wrong man. I don't think Alysanne would ever want to even entertain the thought that Jaehaerys was raping one of her daughters, even if she realized what he had done to Alysanne herself was rape. Much easier to blame it on/suspect eternal Problem Child Daemon, especially if he's also being groomed by fucking Viserys; he's already an oversexed lecher who seduced gentle, married Viserys away from sweet Aemma, what else isn't he capable of? (and the double tap there of like, hypersexualization of bisexuality + Alysanne’s complete refusal to deal with how unhappy she is with Jaehaerys equals, to me, her constantly punishing her children and grandchildren because she can’t punish Jaehaerys, and proving this point to herself that she couldn’t have been manipulated into marrying him because look, her daughters are marrying the same way as well. And if she suspects even subconsciously that Jaehaerys is raping Gael? And punishes Daemon for ~seducing~ her poor sweet innocent Gael and stealing away Viserys from his sweet innocent wife Aemma? yeah that tracks with how she treats Saera and Viserra).
um tldr i think jaehaerys simply gambled that he could still control the situation when it came to defanging rhaenys, but also knew he couldn’t just give her nothing, if not for sentiment sake, then at least for logistics sake and to avoid a small rebellion, so when rhaenys & alysanne float the match, he can’t say no to it, so he just controls it. and i do think alysanne sent daemon off to the vale in part to defang him as well, yes, in addition to my not insane i’m right conspiracies about exactly what was cookin in king’s landing circa 97-99 ac (it was a lot of sex crimes, that’s what was cookin).

Time for some TB positive - Who are your favourite TB characters? What of TB are you excited to see in the new season? You favourite TB dynamics?
Yes, it's definitely a nice change :D
My favorite member of TB is probably Jace. He hasn't done much in the series, YET, but what I like about him is that even if he is a bastard and he knows it, he still tries to be better than the "rightful" Targaryens, which are his uncles. It was he who established the most important alliances, it was he who tried to find solutions leading to victory, it was he who tried to grow into the role of king. He didn't want the crown because he deserved it just by being the first son, but because he wanted to earn it.
I want to see all the family relationships between TB and them having to deal with the fact that the war has started in earnest and Luke has been murdered. I like drama, lol. On the one hand, I don't want my loved ones to suffer, but I still want to see how it changes them. Especially since Corlys seemed to have a favorite in Lucerys, and the war took him first, and then Rhaenys. Will he blame Rhaenyra for both of these events? Will he blame her for why she sent his grandson and then his wife alone to face Vhagar? It's not her fault, but will she blame herself and how far will it push her? Considering what a fan fiction the series is, anything can happen. And I want to see Baela and Rhaena do ANYTHING other than stand in the background.
I want to see how Rhaenyra and Daemon's relationship will develop. They lost Visenya, then Lucerys, Daemon had that weird choking episode, then B&C… Will Rhaenyra actually banish him? Daemon has been exiled by Viserys so many times that he is skilled at it… But I want to see him fight this war for her and so I can return to her.

HOTD S1 Rewatch
Ep 6 - The Princess and the Queen
Tumblr media
Omg I love my Queen so much! Look at her smile 😔
First of all... How TF did Alicent find out so quickly that Nyra gave birth?
Mere seconds after pushing Joffrey out Nyra is told that Alicent wants to see him
At 2:38 she pushes him out. At 3:20 she's told by a maid that A wants to see the baby... Like.... How??
You can see only from a couple of minutes that Nyra already loves her baby boy! 😭😭😭
A is sooo evil for doing that to Nyra! Oh you're going to the Seven Hells for that!
Laenor is so confused but he's got good intentions lol
When he says 'I thought we were past this' it implies A did this with Jace and Luke as well...
The way Nyra is struggling to get up those stairs...Alicent I am in your walls!
Also I don't understand her saying 'you may get one who looks like you' like this baby isn't three minutes old!
I mean I know why she said it but damn, let him develop some features!
HARWIN THE MAN YOU ARE! 😫
Baby Vermax is so cute!
DRACARYS! Poor goat though
It's so obvious that Aegon was the one behind the Pink Dread. Alicent blames Nyra's boys but like Luke is like 5 maybe and Jace 7/8. Your son is the oldest one so shouldn't he know better than to bully his own brother.. Oh that's right he doesn't because you let him bully his brother.. And you call yourself a mother 🙄
DREAMFYRE! THE OG MOTHER OF DRAGONS!
Helaena my little cutie pie... You deserve a better mother btw
'Your obsession with those beasts goes beyond understanding'
He's a Targaryen and his brother bullies him for the fact that he doesn't have one, ofc he wants a dragon, Alicent, pls just say you dont understand anything about the House you married into and leave
'It's a wonder to me their eggs ever hatched' Why? Their mother is a Targaryen....? So what is your point exactly? Oh she's such a bitch I can't stand her!
Like. Your kids are half Targaryen. Nyra's kids are half Targaryen. Also all of Nyra'a kids had their dragons hatch to them.
None of Alicent's did. They all had to claim dragons. Which there's nothing wrong with that it's just why are you talking such bs?
God I wish they kept Rhaenys's hair black. That way you could have plausible deniability for why Nyra's kids have dark hair, smh.
'I have to believe that in the end honor and decency will prevail'. Literally three seconds ago you were talking shit about her out in the open halls... Right, decency, sure...
Alicent yelling at her son and getting in his face - someone give her mother of the year award...
Caraxes and Vhagar having a cute little dance in the sky, oh the foreshadowing 🙃
CRISTON COLE YOU PETTY IDIOT! HARWIN SHOULD'VE SMASHED YOUR FACE THE WAY YOU DID TO JOFFREY!
Harwin, you're so sexy, if only you lived longer 😔😔
Omg Jace's little face, he's so cute little baby 😭
Why is Criston soo agressive? He's manhandling a litteral child? Like bsffr 🙄
The way Harwin holds Jace's face and encourages him - I'm fine.. I'm fine 🙂🙂
'You forget yourself Ser that is the Prince' as if you weren't encouraging Aegon to attack and harm Jace, who's also a Prince and in line for the throne... Right
I know Harwin punching Clumbo in the face was not a good move politically but he was sooo hot doing that ughh😫 I need to stop
Nyra has such a sweet relationship with her maids. You can see they genuinely care for her😭
We stan Elinda Massey in this house!
The way Nyra was looking up at Laenor as he drunkenly talks about the Triarchy, bye! 💀
The way Daemon smiled at Laena when she walked to sit beside him ughh he loved her I know he did!
Alicent pointing out Nyra's milk leaking was such a bitchy move! 🙄
Viserys I need you to grow a spine, you are the King not Alicent. If he said so Helaena would've married Jace and Alicent couldn't do shit about it.
Larys is such a slimy shady rat I hate just seeing him on my screen!
Laena, bestie, you truly died a dragonrider's death! RIP you were a true girlboss 😔
Vhagar hesitating to burn Laena ughhh my feels!
Harwin saying goodbye to the boys and Nyra holding back tears.... Ughh my heart!
I don't even wanna talk about Harwin dying... You're telling me a man called Breakbones couldn't break a door. I call bs on that.
He's alive and well he's alive and well he's-
I'm fine fine fine fine I'm fine 🙃🙃

🚨TEAM BLACK TRAILER & SPOILERS FOR HOTD🚨
Oh… MY…. GOD. This is literally all I could have asked for this is one of the best things I’ve seen in so long I’m so HYPED!!
Tumblr media
This shot… I’m literally heart broken this 💔. This is obviously at Lucerys funeral and honestly it’s just…. TO MUCH. The tears in Jaces eyes, them burning Luke’s clothing because there wasn’t a body, baby Joffrey. This scene looks absolutely stunning but also so gut wrenching. I FEEL LIKE ILL DEFINITELY CRY 😭.
Tumblr media
DRAGON TWINS DRAGON TWINS DRAGON TWINS DRAGON TWINS
Everyone knows that I manifested this, HARD. Whoever gave them a new, better wig bless you. To the person who actually put them into nice clothing, BLESS YOU TOO.
Baela is literally Laenas twin like… SHE LOOKS SO GOOD.
I’m so happy there finally getting more scenes and lines, I was praying for this. DRAGON TWINSSSS I LOVE YOUUUU
Tumblr media
MOOOONNNNN DANCERRRREEEEEEREE
She looks almost exactly like what I imagine a young Vhagar would look like. VHAGER IS HER MUMMY CONFIRMED!!!
It’s hard to see in this particular shot but I do like that they kept her a paler green colouring!!!! I don’t think you guys understand how much I love moondancer. She like two moments in the book and I decided I would Stan forever.
Tumblr media
BAELA TARGARYENNNNNNNN GETTING her own moment is something I am actually so hyped about, THATS MY WARRIOR PRINCESS.
You know I have a feeling that maybe after Rooks Rest and seeing what happens to a certain someone she mayyyyy cut her hair, like book Baela. Kind of like the thing, hair holds memories yk?
Tumblr media
Cregan stark is NOT BLONDE WHO CHEEEEREEEEEDDDDDDDDDDD
I understand that the north storyline this season will probably only last three episodes max (damn you eight episodes)! NONETHELESS, I am beyond excited.
Can we talk about how Jacaerys is free from the ugly wig??? THANK THE HEAVENS!! There doing my boy right. Seeing him a decent amount in the trailer made me so hyped, I always thought he deserved to be seen more in the first season since YK, he’s the Heir’s heir (hahah) but I’m so glad there stepping up there game this season!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
RHAENYRA RHAENYRA THE WOMAN YOU ARE! Whoever made her costumes and hair this season BLESS YOUR HEART.
I think it’s obvious she’s most likely wearing a Visenya braid and she is STANDING ON BUSINESS!
Before when I was talking about the posters I was discussing how it seemed that they gave her back her cunningness and determination from the books and I am SO HAPPY THEY DID. Because THAT is a queen of he seven kingdoms THATTTTTT is MY WOMANNNNN!!!!
Also this is a side note: but I like how she refers to Aegon as Alicent Hightower’s son, not her brother or half brother but as ALICENTS SON!!!! I feel like it probably has to do with them not being close, but it also it makes it feel like Rhaenyra doesn’t consider him a true son of Viserys. Very interesting, can’t wait for there beef to get more intense.
Tumblr media
Rhaenyra… Rhaenyraaaas EMMA D’ARCY YOU ARE AN ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS PERSON. I’m in shock, whoever made there outfits this season did they GOOOOOODDDDDD
LOTS of theories on who’s she’s looking 🙉
1. Alicent Hightower
There was a bunch of leaks going around that there would be a final meeting between the two. I think this is an outfit that she wears in the earlier episodes so idkkk buttt If it Rhaenyra why are you looking at her like that… TOXIC YURI CONTINUES.
2. Mysaria
I feel it being Mysaria would be very interesting. Maybe it’s her pleading ‘loyalty’ towards Rhaenyra. And then later on (if there keeping it like how it is in the books) helping Daemon blah B&C.
Tumblr media
This is Corlys definitely telling Rhaenys not to get involved and Rhaenys telling him she has to do what’s right for her house and what’s right for Baela and Rhaena 💔💔💔
THERE GOING TO BREAK UP MY HEART THIS SEASON.
Anyways guys I’m so excited, I’m so happy that there finally giving team blacks kids moments to shine and also letting Rhaenyra be book Rhaenyra… JUNE 16th can’t come sooner!

Am I the only one wondering how the velaryons are still on team Black's side?
Like seriously, Rhaenyra and Daemon disrespect them at every given occasion, yet they still somehow want to support her claim.
Strike 1 was Rhaenyra cheating on their son and not being called out on it by anyone.
(She and Laenor have a deal and both cheat on each other, but his parents don't know that. For all they know their daughter in law has been disregarding her duty as his wife and claiming her bastards as Laenors.)
Which is already not great at all since that means the next lord of the tides won't be an actual Velaryon.
Despite everything though Corlys is willing to overlook that because "history remembers names, not blood." but that doesn't mean they are happy with this.
Strike 2 was everything that happened with poor Laena. Daemon prevented her from going back to Driftmark to be with her family and she died far from her parents and her beloved home, which is already horrible.
Then at her funeral their former son in law starts laughing. I honestly would have snapped at that point.
But that's not even the worst part! Because not long after her funeral, Rhaenyra and Daemon have their only remaining child murdered so they can get married.
(Once again, Laenor isn't actually dead, but his parents can't know that.)
So now, both of their kids are dead, indirectly or directly because of D*emyra.
And then they get married immediately! Their spouses have barely stopped burning and they are already tying the knot, without even pretending to be grieving for their losses or wait the required period of mourning like in the books.
And all of this is without even considering how Vaemond was brutally executed by Daemon for telling the truth about the strong boys's parentage, and calling them not his blood.
The velaryons have shown support for them on pultiple occasions and got shat on every. single. time.
Yet for some reason they still think Rhaenyra should be in charge.
In the end, even during the dance they still draw the short end of the stick.
Rhaenys is killed by Aegon and Aemond because, in spite of her strength and ability as a dragon rider, she can't beat two dragons by herself, and Rhaenyra basically sacrifices her by sending her all alone to help their allies.
Corlys is damn right for saying that with more reinforcements his wife would have lived.
Oh and then we have that whole mistery affair that Jace has with Sara. Obviously it's all speculation and rumors, but if it were true, that would just be the last blatant insult to house Velaryon. They deserved much better.

The preparations to welcome the long gone prince granted the Red Keep a new life of joy and relief. The heavy tensions between the two fractions of the House of Dragon had soften on to a slight as the Queen and Princess worked together to welcome the King's second brother.
The Kind; they called him. But that didn't do any justice to his other virtues. The prince was am excellent tactician, mostly away to win wars for the crown or to aid a house which is sinking into dirt. The edge of his sword could only rival his brother's Dark Sister.
The Green Siblings had only heard of the mysterious person they were related to. Only seen him in an old portrait of their family; where he stood beside Daemon with a proud smile and a posture which was too kingly for a prince. But then again, they knew that he was one of the contenders for the Iron Throne when the Old King died.
He had gave up the throne for his brother Viserys and sister Rhaenys; pledging fealty to whosoever sits upon it and rules the Seven Kingdoms; pledging that his life and death belonged to them and so did his sword.
"Have you ever met him mother?" The dear daughter of the king asked her mother with a dreamy edge to her smile. "I have, quite a lot of times, dear. He is everything they speak and more." Alicent could see the glaze in Helaena's beautiful eyes, the admiration she held for her uncle.
Honestly, she thought that Helaena desired the best in the realm. Her gentle soul too pure for the entire world; and she needed to be protected, at any cost.
Tumblr media
A moon had passed since the arrival of the Kind Prince and the realm has been celebrated since then. The joy on Viserys and Daemon could not be contained as they united with their brother; reminiscing old memories and sharing laughter and drowning cups of wine.
Alicent was happy, to see her husband doing well now that his dear brother has returned. Viserys might not have improved but he showed no signs of discontent in the last few days; instead he was quite healthy.
But the Queen's happiness had other reasons as well. She saw how well the prince mixed with her children. He would tell Aegon and Aemond stories of victories and glorious battles; practicing sword with the former as well.
Helaena and the prince were the most close. Their sweet conversations and fleeting touches and discreet glances couldn't hide from Alicent.
"Maybe we should marry your brother to our Helaena." She had proposed one fine evening to her husband as she carefully scrubbed his hand. The stink of blood had clinched to him when he came back from the hunt along with his brothers.
"A fine idea, Alicent. But I must speak to my brother as well."
Only if they knew that both the prince and princess had already flew to Dragonstone on their dragons. A priestess waiting for them with a burning fire while the dragonblade needed for the ceremony was kept safely in the Prince's tunic.
"Are you sure you wish for this, my princess?" He whispered once they landed on the ancestral seat of their family, aiding his princess down with a gentle hand.
Helaena only smiled, turning to him, "I have only waited for you all these years, my prince. I only want you and nothing else."
"The ceremony might hurt you a bit, but the sting will go away soon," he whispered, nodding to the priestess who started the ceremony with the string of Valyrian words leaving her throat. But her words were drowned, for the prince and princess had only the sense of their intertwined hands and amethyst eyes.
As the eclipse began, the dragons bounded to each other with the gods watching from the sky and the dragons growling softly; nuzzling into the others as they watched their riders swear their lives and loyalty to each other.
Forever and after.

I’m not sure if the timeline really matches up with this, but I can see Maegor becoming obsessed with his aunt and Aegon’s youngest sister. Too young to wed Aegon when he and your sisters conquer Westeros. Maegor already covets his father’s dragon, Balerion, so it makes sense that he’s also waiting for his father to die so he can claim you as well. It doesn’t matter how much older you are than him- you were destined to be his. Bonus if Visenya was platonically obsessed and convinced that no one deserved her youngest sister except someone else of true pure Valyerian heritage (aka her own son)
I imagine their youngest to be almost like a baby sister to the other three. Even when she's no longer a child, Aegon, Rhaenys, and Visenya still adore and spoil her. After Rhaenys' death, Aegon and Visenya become even more protective of her.
There could have been a a thought of marrying her to Aenys as he was the oldest. But Aegon didn't wish to face Visenya's wrath. In her eyes, Aenys was nothing but a sickly boy and while he shared their blood; she believes her sweet sister deserves someone far stronger. Someone who'll protect and keep her safe and who better than her son Maegor.
Maegor at his own devices was already yearning for his aunt even with his mother putting those notions in his head. More so after claiming his father's dragon, Balerion. As sick as it may sound, there is some solace in his father's passing, because it means that nobody can really stop him.

I saw that you got into a scuffle with some Rhaegar stan that accused you of saying that Rhaegar abused Elia and their kids and even though you didn't say that, the stan is wrong....because Rhaegar 100 percent canonically did? Elia was reproductively abused, which destroyed her already fragile health. As for the kids, abandonment is 100 percent abuse, so yes by sheer virtue of abandoning his children he abused Rhaenys and Aegon. Fathers in ASOIAF get dragged for much, much less, but Dead Beat Rhaegar apparently is above critique. His stans are shambolic lmao.
I know exactly what they mean when they used the word abused. The only way in which they can conceive Rhaegar as being in the wrong, is if he is outwardly violent and hateful. He has to hurl verbal abuse at her and her children or physically hit her or the children. Otherwise, they will chalk the rest of it up under the label of "misinterpreting events".
I used the word mistreated, because I know it's a more broad spectrum of things that can fall under that category. The treatment of Elia to them, falls under "I can personally excuse it and therefore every other opinion disagreeing is wrong". Which is ironic, because they adamantly will try to excuse around putting Elia through two back to back life threatening pregnancies, despite the nature of Rhaegar trying to fulfill a prophecy meant he was having children as a means to do that. Not because of the terms of marriage.
You will notice they hardly ever bring up defences against the pregnancies, because they know it makes them look like they are victim blaming Elia for almost dying after simply giving birth to Aegon. The only other comment will be that maybe she was fine with it, which is an entirely speculated point of view based soley on the perception of she cant be a victim. They don't make grand arguments against the pregnancies because they know it makes them look bad, so they argue everything else.
And you are absolutely correct. Rhaegar abandoned his children. Other fathers do not have this claim, because they went out to fight a war for loyalty, oaths and duty. But Rhaegar did not leave for war. He took Lyanna in peace times, and then only after the war was already in full swing did he even join. Rhaegar's actions were the catalyst that led to war. From the moment he took Lyanna, he was no longer a figure in his childrens life.
Aerys let Rhaella take Viserys and flee to Dragonstone. But he forced Elia, Aegon, and Rhaenys to stay. Why? Because at that point Doran Martell was furious how she had been treated and was starting to offer aid to the rebels and thus Aerys held her hostage in order to keep her family from abandoning the Crowns side entierly.
A man who refused to touch his own first born granddaughter in the public court because she "smelled too dornish". That's who Rhaegar left his children with. A man who cared for his grandchildren so little he refused to even play nice and hold her in public once.
Rhaegar did not care about their saftey. He did not care to consider what would happen to them under his fathers hatred and delusions, or what would happen to them if they lost the war. He did not do what a good father does and protect his children. His best Kingsguard were under his orders, too busy keeping a helpless teenage girl hostage in a tower his own wife gifted him.
Rhaegar stans regularly criticize fathers in this series for things they don't deserve. Ned gets so heavily criticized by them, because they do not like the idea that the Stark is a better father then the Targaryean. Even though he is. Or they try to compare them and pretend they at all did any of the same things, just so they can justify liking Rhaegar. "Look you like Ned and hes flawed, and so is Rhaegar so he obviously is good."
These people do not care about anyone but Rhaegar. They don't care about Elia, or Lyanna, or Rhaenys, or Aegon, or even Jon. They do not care, because they bend over backwards to paint Rhaegar in a light that no one but purposley biased characters speak of him in.
They are Rhaegars own self fulfilling prophecy. Not caring about anyone but The Last Dragon, regardless of what destruction to other characters that results in.
Rhaegar Targaryean is a fucking dweeb and I wish Robert Baratheon crushed him to death with an even bigger war hammer.

Baela and Rhaena headcanons.(HOTD)
@princesssszzzz for the concept and idea. Our girls deserve much better.
Tumblr media
Baela.
1. She loved both of her parents the same and tried to take after both of them.
2. The reason she's on Driftmark is because she genuinely missed her mother and wanted to be surrounded by the place where Laena would tell her stories about.
3. She's the person who had Jace learning High Valyrian in a day. She made a joke about it and now he's doing it to prove her wrong.
4. Daemon was the one who suggested her and Jace after seeing that when she was on Dragonstone they'd spend the most time together outside of Rhaena.
5. She prefers to sword fight with Luke to Jace because they both get really competitive.
6. She was convinced for a while that Rhaena would hatch a male dragon and that their dragons would make clutches.
7. She now thinks that Rhaena will have a female dragon, and when it starts to lay eggs with Moondancer, they'll trade them with each other's kids.
8. She didn't think she'd marry Jace until Rhaenys declared it.
9. Vaemond always found a way to correct her, but he'd also tell her the ways she reminded him of Laena. (They seemed close during the wedding)
10. She kept a loc in her hair for Pentos , her mother and Rhaena until Rhaenys convinced her to take it out
11. She was convinced that Moondancer would be rideable before Arrax and was devastated when she wasn't.
12. The only reason she hasn't cut her hair short is because she's scared she'll look less like Laena.
13. Laena is definitely the reason she took her locs out.
14. She has plans to take up Dark Sister after Daemon.
15. She's passively good at politics.
Tumblr media
Rhaena
1. Her and Daemon reconciled on the whole hatching dragons issue they had, Daemon actually talked to her about claiming dragons on Dragonstone.
2. Rhaena got a maid from Driftmark to maintain her locs on Dragonstone.
3. She tends to fight with Jace a lot more than anyone. Especially when it comes to politics.
4. The reason Rhaena didn't go to Driftmark was because the thought of being their without her mother alongside her was too much.
5. She likes to ask the boys about Laenor because they almost always mention Laena.
6. Rhaena speaks High Valyrian, better than Jace and Luke. She also picked up the common tongue from the free cities.
7. Rhaena prefers materials from Pentos to the ones found in Westeros.
8. She goes more frequently than anyone else to look for Baela on Driftmark.
9. When they were younger, Baela had convinced her that the Iron Throne was the way it was described in the books.
10. She didn't talk to Rhaneyra or Daemon or the first year on Dragonstone. Luke acted as the messenger between Rhaena and her dad.
11. She used to go with Daemon to find clutches of eggs and chose both for her younger brothers.
12. She tends to 'style' her locs in whatever position they stay in to look 'presentable' with court styles, but it's a lot of hair that's typically just in two braids down her back.
13. She's read the entire Dragonstone library, including the correspondences between nobles (the ones the maesters allow).
14. She's slowly convincing Luke to learn to sail so he can teach her in a more appropriate way but he gets sea sick.
15. Daemon and Rhaenys carry her from island to island when she doesn't want to go on a boat.
Both
Tumblr media
1. Daemon had to sit both of them down and tell them not to ask if the boys were "actually" Velaryons.
2. They have entire conversations in Low Valyrian that only Daemon understands but never asks them to translate.
3. Rhaena took more to Joffery than her brothers while Baela is more hands on with them.
4. Rhaenyra tried to fill the maternal space at first, but they all preferred the relationship where she treated them like young ladies who she cares for and honors their mother.
5. They aren't aware of Daeron (just like us) , they hear of him in passing but have never actually met him.
6. They tend to side with each other rather than anyone else, especially when either of them are surely wrong.
7. They both tend to correct Rhaenyra and / or give her council when it comes to certain decisions. She never corrected them.
8. They both planned on naming their first daughters, Laena.
9. Rhaenys canonically corrected them both into saying Velayron correctly.
(I love the interview with Eve)
10. Rhaena was terrified when Rhaenyra was giving birth to Aegon, and Baela was distant with everyone for a few months later.
11. Neither of them like King's Landing, it's a nasty place.
12. They both don't prefer Valyrian customs, mostly weddings though.
13. Rhaenys obviously favors Baela and Rhaena, so whenever they go to Driftmark, they ask her to pick out three trinkets to give the boys.
14. Rhaena and Luke always point out when Baela and Jace mimick each other, and Baela and Jace mock the expression Luke and Rhaena share.
15. Baela is more casually political, where Rhaena is very hands-on with politics. Baela had to learn and develop her understanding with Rhaenys, where Rhaena was naturally inclined and argumentative. They also genuinely thought if they had to marry Jace and Luke, that Rhaena would marry Jace, and Luke would wed Baela, just based on their general personalities and where they stayed.
16. Rhaenys tried and failed to get them into the Baratheon style we saw Laena in during the wedding and in Pentos. They both hated it for different reasons.

Rhaenyra/DoD!Reader:
Suffocating
Surrounded by a broken family
That's how you felt, with the many travels you had to do in last 6 years of your life.
While these people tried to consume you with their infectious affection, they wanted for you to replace your dear mother in their hearts.
Unfortunately, they were the cause of why you lost her, so why should you carry this weight? They shouldn't expect you to remain a pretty doll.
You begin your personal rebellion by not doing everything they wanted, like, flying on Starfyre, you started going from a place to another with her when you were 5, much to your aunt Rhaenyra's and your aunt Alicent's displeasure.
Both tried to take your mother's place in your heart, both tried to make you feel like their families were your's too. But you refused, the only person who you sympathize the most between the two sides was your grandsire Viserys.
Of course, the last place you visited (sometimes in secret, because again, no one can confirm were you are going with Starfyre) was Driftmark, to visit Princess Rhaenys and her granddaughter and your dear friend Baela. They understood you better than many, due to fact that Rhaenys did knew what felt like to lose your family in benefits of others.
But you never told her about this.
About what you heard, when you visited King's Landing for the first time after the incident in Driftmark, what Alicent said to your uncle Larys right after you left their sight:
"I can't look at her and not see her mother...and to think of her death...i told you, i didn't wanted them dead!", the fool didn't expect you to be hearing them, but now you knew, they killed your mother for their own benefit.
One side betrayed your mother and left her in a deplorable state, the other took her life.
The children were no better, they still wanted to trap you with them, especially Aegon and Jacaerys, again, they still wanted you to replace your mother. But you never gave them that pleasure.
Rhaenyra tried to talk to you, tried to be "reasonable" but your face was enough answer for her, you would never forgive any of them for what they did.
When you were in Dragonstone, you spend your time with Lucerys, Rhaena, Joffrey, even with little Aegon and Viserys for they were the less insufferable to be around.
In King's Landing, again you took care of your grandsire, but also spent your days with Helaena and her children and sometimes with Aemond.
Sometimes, you would just fly away, no carrying much about where you would end up, since you always found your way back home, Starfyre, who was used to fly in the same directions, seemed happy for this change of pace.
You thought of all the events of the last 6 years, especially Aegon and Helaena's wedding that felt more like a funeral to you, the end of any possibility for those two to have a good life. You pitied Helaena more than her brother, honestly.
Finally snapped out of your thoughts when Vaemond, Lord Corlys' brother, declared that he was going to King's Landing to fight for his claim of the title of Lord of the Tides against Luke due to Corlys' current state could result in his death.
You understood why Vaemond was doing this, the 3 boys were only Velaryon by name, not blood, thanks to the affair between your father and Rhaenyra. However, you couldn't help but feel sorry for Luke, even if he didn't wanted nor "deserved" the throne, it was the only title he would gain...
You travelled with Rhaenys and Baela to King's Landing, by their pleadings because you wished to remain in Driftmark. You would feel suffocated again in the presence of both families, so Rhaenys suggested for you to stay by her side.
Alicent and Otto welcomed you three once you arrived, the queen even tried to hug you, but you dismissed her attempt clinging unto Rhaenys.
The same happened with Rhaenyra, you kept your distance from her. While she tried to convince Rhaenys of supporting Luke's claim. You were quiet for a time.
"You know that this is what she would want-", in that moment, you didn't control your mouth. - "Don't you dare"
Both women looked at you immediately. - "Don't you use my mother's name in your defense, you may be the princess and heir, but use the name of a dead woman is a low step even for you"
Rhaenyra lowered her head, you were to believe that it was for shame, but it didn't matter anymore, you left the garden before anyone could stop you. You spent the rest of the day in the company of Helaena.
The next day was the trial, you didn't attend it, you decided to stay with Viserys, he was in a deplorable condition, it sadden you. For a couple of minutes, until he sat up and said he needed to go.
The servants dressed the King and you followed him, worried for his health but understanding what he was doing, you stayed at his side when the guards announced his arrival at Throne room.
Everyone looked at him and at you, you were right behind your grandsire since he refused help. You stopped when Rhaenys holded and told you to stay at her side as Daemon helped his brother.
You expected Viserys to defend his grandson, of course, but you never expected the aftermath with Vaemond...
That didn't faze you as much as others thought it would.
You were attended the feast by the King's request. Sitting between Jace and Aegon, before your grandsire arrived, you didn't much attention to your surroundings.
Once the feast started, and everyone said their toasts to each, like good liars, or so you thought, since Rhaenyra made a toast not just for the Queen, but to you as well for "Keeping your mother's legacy", yes same one she helped on destroying it.
But other than that, everything seemed to be going on peacefully, even when Aegon opened his mouth to say something inappropriate, but he kepthis tongue for your sake...until your Uncle Aemond decided to open his mouth.
"Final tribute, to the health of my nephews...Jace, Luke and Joffrey, each of them handsome, wise...strong" - And hell fell on the dinner table. The boys attacked each other and Daemon to stop them from killing each other. And you? You started clapping.
Everyone looked at you confused, but you kept your straight face and looked at Aemond.
"Again? What do you wish to lose this time, dear Uncle? Another eye?" - Everyone looked shocked, then Otto answered - "Princess, it's not proper of you to threat your uncle in this moment-"
You scoffed - "A threat? Alright, then dear uncle, next time i shall ask for your tongue as my grandsire so warned you that it would be taken if this matter was questioned again" - You got up from your seat and walked to the door, but before you left the room, you finished - "That was a threat Lord Hand, see the difference?"
You leave the room with disdain, knowing that your words could be a problem for you later, but no matter now, you decided to go to sleep and return to Driftmark with Rhaenys the next morning.
----------------------xxxxxxxx---------------------
That wouldn't happen, as you wake up with sounds of someone locking your doors, you immediately knew something was wrong. You looked through the window to see many ladies and lords walking in the same direction.
Later, Alicent appeared in your room, with a small smile on her face for a bit, as if it would calm you down or something. She then proceeded to explain that Viserys, your King and grandsire was dead, and that in his last wishes, he wanted Aegon to inherit the Iron Throne.
...You didn't believe in a word she said - "As his niece, you must stand at his side for the better, even at your age" - Alicent claimed as she holded your hand.
"And if i don't? What will happen to me?" - You didn't mean to say that, you weren't thinking straight and that was your worst mistake - "Will you send my uncle to burn me like you did to my mother?"
You don't remember her words, she was shocked, yes, but angry too, she said that you had no idea of what you were saying, you accused her of something vile...
You were locked away, as punishment.

Aegon was crowned King at the presence of the people of Westeros, you heard the whispers, but no one came to save you.
A weird feeling in your gut started to bother you tremendously, you had to get out on your own accord. You started looking for anything in the room to get out.
Until you did, a map, that indicated a secret passage in the room that could lead to an exit on the Red Keep. You never liked Maegor as many other, but today you were thankful for these secret passages.
You found some old clothes you could use as disguise, you were used to sneak out, but never like this. At least you knew your way to the Dragon pit.
As you walked towards the exit, you prayed that no one would notice your dismiss and look for you, and you kept praying as you made your way in the town...
You felt relieved when you finally got to Starfyre, but your gut feeling grew when you noticed that something was missing...
Vaghar, Aemond's dragon wasn't anywhere to be found
You quickly freed Starfyre and mounted on her, both finally free from the Greens, you had no idea where Aemond could have gone, but you had to look for him, your gut was still bothering you.
You flew south, looking for any clue of where to go, until you spotted Arrax and Luke, and went after them. Then you arrive at one place that you tried to avoid: Storm's End, the home of the blood family of your late mother.
Luke entered without noticing Starfyre, soon after, you landed and now finally found the missing piece, Vaghar. Which means that Aemond was also there, and that meant trouble.
You were quickly escorted inside as you heard the argument, then the guards announced your arrival - "Princess ... Targaryen, daughter of ... Targaryen!" - the sound of your name made everyone twist their heads towards you.
"What are you doing here?" - Luke whispered - "Making sure you return in one piece...Greetings Uncle Borros" - You answered the prince and said to Lord Boros Baratheon.
"You shall address me as Lord Baratheon, Princess" - Lord Boros claim - "If it pleases you my lord, i shall also apologize for my rudeness, my actions were made out of the assumption that, since you are my mother's brother by blood, it wouldn't be a bother to call my uncle." - You taunted him - "May you tell us why you came here, Princess?" - Boros asked - "Simply to confirm your statement as a second witness for the Princess Rhaenyra and escort prince Lucerys back home"
"You took her side? You truly believe that she is capable of ruling?" - Aemond asks, sounding disappointed, you noticed the dagger in his hand...and eyepatch was gone- "Personally? No, however, unlike many, i do respect the late King's true wish, that his named heir became Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, now i believe we are done here, isn't it cousin?"
Luke nods and as you both start walking away from the room, Boros calls you out - "This is not a child's play, Princess" - Somehow, he sounded worried, you stopped for a second, before answering - "I wouldn't know my lord, i haven't played with my dolls in the last 6 years."
You flew away in the storm with Luke, you tried to follow him, but as you focused on your path, you noticed that Arrax was gone, and you heard someone shoutting in Valyrian, it was Aemond.
You looked for Luke everywhere, until you heard him not too far shouting for Arrax to stop, then Aemond shoutted too, you went higher, above the clouds where the storm wouldn't bother you, until you saw Luke...
What happened next was...shocking? heartbreaking? You didn't knew, both you and Aemond were shocked at what Vaghar did, but you knew, it was his fault.
So you started clapping, maybe it was loud enough for him to hear...
Not that you cared.
