Tom has suchhhh thin skin for social dings like hello?? It feels not just sensitive but entitled. He can’t even stand a night of low level rude comments? And he angrily blames his wife for not destroying their combined position defending him each and every time? Like the real victory would be taking the rude comments in stride but then working to either not get fired or moving laterally or up to a great position anyway.
But no he has to have his ego stroked 24/7 especially by his wife because that’s literally what his “career” is about.

oKAY fine i'll talk about my obsession with 'hook' v 'killian' and 'swan’ v ‘emma' no one asked for this
(basically more thoughts inspired by this post)
let's start with emma. (forgive me if i'm wrong but) we get killian introducing himself by full name to emma and the others, but there's no scene of him finding out her surname. (i would love to see how that conversation goes, and emma's reaction to him starting to use it all the time). anyway, she is primarily referred to as 'emma', 'miss swan', 'the savior' even...but to my recollection never just 'swan' by anyone else. same way emma calls henry 'kid' or rumple calls neal 'bae'.
basically, killian is flirting 101. give a girl a nickname so she knows that you like her. so she knows you refer to her in a way that other don't.
killian is more obvious. most people refer to him by his more colorful moniker; hook. not ! that hook is not a suiting name for him. it's become a part of him and i personally believe it's gone from a name people feared to one used endearingly. but you can see it in his face how much it means to him when she calls him by his name. since i've started paying attention, i can't remember anyone else calling him killian except people he's loved in the past (liam, milah).
'hook' is who he'll always be to everyone else, but killian is the person only some get to see.
here are some examples of when they call each other the opposite that matter to mE:
emma- "you come to me, hook" during the s6 ooc engagement-call-off fiasco
killian- "emma, are you alright?" 5x02 after emma saves robin's life and killian pulls away from the kiss
both are times they feel disconnected from each other.
and!!! the opposite. like the scene mentioned previously in 3x22 where they reunite, they are so happy to see each the rouse flies out the window and they connect instantly.

Theon and Asha had to be separated as children for the realms sake. their bond would have been detrimental to the realm otherwise.
the bi on bi hostility would have killed everyone within a five mile radius. the big sister/little brother rivalry would have taken lives of anyone who came between them. they would kill for each other one second and attempt to murder each other the next.
they'd be the biggest shit talkers on the iron isles. the side eye would be insane. they'd gossip about someone to their face with no shame. they'd spread rumours like wildfire.
no one would be able to stop them.

hahahahahaha I hate it here.
Danielle Smith: I don’t want young kids to permanently change their bodies!
Danielle Smith: So they won’t be allowed to use puberty blockers, the effects of which are basically entirely reversible, until they’re fifteen, which is well into puberty and often towards the end of puberty for AFAB kids!
Danielle Smith: this makes sense and I am so smart! This will not have the effect of making trans youth even more vulnerable than they already are and that definitely wasn’t my intention.

an au where ava du mortain meets a charmingly infuriating performer at the local tavern that her and her fellow knights frequent.
an au where they fall in love and ava feels feelings she never thought she could ever feel before, an au where she finally understands what those inane poets were waxing on about.
an au where religious guilt and trauma gets in the way, shortly followed by the death of her entire family and her turning.
an au where the performer, her first and only love, also gets turned. unbeknownst to her. unbeknownst to one another.
an au where they both roam the earth for 900 long years, experiencing horrors and trials that no one human, no one being, should ever have to face.
an au where they come face to face, where one is working for the supernatural government, the agency. and where the other is working under the leader of the rogue supernaturals.

One thing k-pop fans will do is call an idol by their government name, even if they gave you a perfectly good name they want to be called lol.
Like it doesn't matter if the stage name is just a normal name, a title, silly, serious, whatever. Fans are like "No, I'm gonna call them what their mama calls them" lmao.
This is a genuine question tho lol. What is the reason?

Is it just me or did the mothers from First Kill have some insane chemistry??? Like yes they both love their husbands, love that for them, and they hate each other bc long time enemies. But if their kids weren’t together (insane chemistry there as well) then I just know the enemies to lovers arc would’ve been IMMACULATE

wait do you have a fav boys character yet ?
i really like butcher but i feel like that's a basic answer and also the wrong answer. in another world id like frenchie but i can't get over how much i hate the actor. I love maeve theres never a moment she's on screen where im thinking get this woman outta here she's always entertaining to me. i like starlight but (and this is probably a bit nasty to say) there's smth a little uncanny valley about her sometimes where when she's talking im not listening but staring at her face trying to see what features throwing me off. I hate ashley but the actress played an insufferable character in jessica jones too and I really appreciate her ability to play The Most annoying woman you know.
centrist answer i like them all (except stormfront. hated her before i even knew she was a nazi. she was on insta live and i was waiting for her to explode and die) but my fave would have to be butcher bc i find im rooting for him the most and constantly justifying his actions. but sometimes karl urbans accent pisses me off. also black noir but he doesn't Do anything so it's hard to have him as a fave bc he's barely there.

Demons being able to talk to animals made me think of Modeus getting the local murders of crows and colonies of stray/outdoor cats to bring him strawberries. (I know he probably wouldn't because that's stealing, but its still a cute idea.) Also love the idea of Modeus befriending the local pigeons, just because pigeons are cute and also pretty symbols of peace and I love them 💜
After mentioning to his animal frens that he likes strawberries, the next day, he finds that his animal frens have brought him strawberries.
Modi: "Everyone, you did not need to steal strawberries for me. I could have bought them."
A crow Modeus dubbed Ser Crowington: "With what money?"
Modeus: ...
A cat named Lady Purrs-a-lot: "Well you did not tell us this before we stole them."
Modeus: *sighs as he takes the strawberries from them.* "Well... let's not waste them, then."
Post Ep 10 (Good ending dw!) At the park:
Baul: Brother, these birds refuse to leave me alone. *a flock of pigeons are following him with the leader of the flock seemingly wanting Baul’s attention.*
Modeus: "Oh! Lord Flockington wants to know if you got any seeds."
Baul: "You named them? And tell them no."
Modeus: *is now holding an armful of pigeons* "Yes, yes I did." To Lord Flockington: "I'm sorry, my brother does not have seeds."
Lord Flockington: *sad pigeon noises.*
