How do you feel over the situation where Anthony liked those racist comments? About the cosplayer, because there have been more allegations about bad behaviour behind the scenes (with that actress that plays queen Maeve). I’m just disappointed at this point.
i feel absolutely terrible for the fans he alienated and hurt by liking those foul comments. i feel especially terrible for the poor girl in the photo—she looked beautiful—who was clearly so happy to be there, and now this is happening.
i actually planned on addressing the incident this morning with this post in my drafts
but i delayed hoping that maybe antony would address the situation before it got too much more attention and hurt more people than it already has. that has not happened yet. you can find the tiktok video i was going to link here for more context, since the comments are now gone from IG.
personally i'm not a fan of him outside of his work, so i had no real expectations of him, yet i'm STILL supremely disappointed.

"here we are, breathing together" | huntershipping
As Silver froze from shock, he swore the looming darkness in the hotel room was driven to the very corners when Ethan beamed at him, his lover's twinkling eyes burning bright as if he had brought the very stars down from the clouded skies to gently illuminate here. All of his love, just for him.
"Lay down, then. Plenty of space for us both," Ethan reassured him, and like magic, Silver set his mug away and slowly got cozy, not at all taking the opportunity to hide the blush creeping up from his neck.
Or: with everyone on Pasio stuck indoors due to a heavy storm, it was the perfect time to reveal that a certain someone slept the best in this weather, and his lover was ready to provide.
This is a standalone fanfic.

I don't want to focus on the negative, but I found this on atheist-tok and it's too important to not share. The truth about Christianity has to get out there, even tho it's hard sometimes. It's an evil cult, focusing on control, sin, guilt and purity. If you're religious and you have even the sliver of doubt about what the Bible says, or what your church says, please get out! You deserve better, you deserve freedom! I can't tell you it's easy, because it's not! But to live without the chains of Christ is a freedom that is worth it 🩵

long time no see!!! but it is wip weds!!! azris edition!!!
Eris Vanserra’s cigarette hangs between his lips, hands curled around the end as if trying to block the wind, but it does jack shit for the dead lighter he’s trying to spark it with. Seems even riches don’t remind trust fund brats to refill their Zippo’s.
“Nice to see that money hasn’t changed you.”
Azriel holds his own between two fingers, an offering. It’s a half sized thing, so well used the patten’s been half rubbed away, leaving only smears of blue against the white plastic. He can’t bring himself to part with it. It had been a gift once.
Eris takes it and in two short clicks he’s taking his first quick drag, followed by a second, longer pull. It’s in the way his eyes slip shut and his shoulders relax, rounding out as he rolls the tension out of his neck. The performance of it all.
“You’re too old to be wearing leather.” He says. Azriel doesn’t even flinch at it.
“You’re too old to be playing boy toy at your daddy’s yacht parties.”
His laugh is effortless, practiced. Sharp in all the right places. It’s business, and a part of Azriel — a part long thought dead — curls in disgust. It tears up through him like bile in his throat. If he sneers, Eris doesn’t let on. “And here I thought you liked to watch.”

Spoilers for Alan Wake/Control games and DLCs: one of the things I really like in Alan Wake 2 is the confirmation that, no, Alan can’t create something out of nothing. There were implications in-story that supported that, but it was good to have that be a big part in the sequel. The AWE control dlc easily made it seem like Alan himself had a role in the events of the game and the formation of the FBC, and, personally, seeing it through that lens cheapened a lot of the game and Jesse’s story. Instead, having his writing influence the Hiss and try to manipulate (even out of desperation) Jesse/the FBC to end Hartman and get help, fit right into plot and conflicts of Alan Wake 2, with Alan being sympathetic, but also an asshole for trying to change and control people’s lives in his writing.

with plagiarism being a sort of hot topic now i'm reminded of how i saw that an ex-friend of mine decided to steal my concept for a persona au (which i had discussed with them COUNTLESS TIMES before and even wrote part of myself before switching fandoms last year) and claimed its their own idea they came up with when a mutual friend asked them about it for my sake.
