Hugo: Do you have a child?

YD: No, I don't have children but I have two puppies

Vox x a reader with chronic pain strikes me as interesting. Like you know how people use tens units to help with pain? I raise you: Vox’s claws

Vox can be. . . a fucking dick sometimes and at first I could see him not entirely taking you seriously.

He grew up in on the early 1900s. . . There are men today who are insistent that people with periods just make it up.

I don’t think he’d understand the gravity of things until it became debilitating.

Then he’d take you seriously. Then he’d do the research. Then he’d realize you weren’t making shit up.

He’s a very stubborn man. It would take him a while to apologize if he did it at all and didn’t just try to make up with it through gifts and acts of service.

It is was a late night when he got home and saw you in the bed curled up in pain.

He’d sigh and push down his own struggles from the day enough to walk over to you and sit beside you on the bed.

“Where does it hurt? I want to try something.”

He would place his hands were it hurt and you’d feel a pulse come from his fingertips.

It would go in a steady stream and then it would ebb and flow. He’d settle on whichever felt better to you.

He would encourage you to grab hold of his wrist and control where he was focusing.

During these sessions the two of you would talk about everything and nothing, complaining and encouraging.

There would be small breaks every so often. He’d get you water and something to eat. He’d bring it to you on a little try, serve it to you in bed or a chair, whichever you like preferred.

You would not have to get up to get a thing.

So, yeah, at first he’d be a real asshole at first but in the end he’d wait on you hand and foot.

i have played hollow knight for approximately 80 hours in the past 11 days

also quite obsessed with karl being as detached from the story as he is. there's nothing that makes him have to be the detective that has to be involved, but he unknowingly dooms himself by agreeing to work with the KYAL cult. every other detective basically deals with elias head on except weissman, who only meets him right before he kills him. like he's right when he says "by my choices" because everything that leads him to being mixed up with the mannix cult is himself. it's the gambling debts and the choice to do the dirty work for an organisation he knows nothing about. he's the only one that doesn't encounter that body doing police work and it's specifically because he's told to cover it up. he gets himself into the mess and eventually fixes it but the fact that esther always dies in the doomed timelines and he's always too late even if he starts wanting to change things ("till this child. esther.") it just makes me very ill
