I don't see this talked about often in the english side of the fandom, as this tidbit got lost in translation, but:

In the japanese versions for both texts and voice lines in the middle-aged opposites venet, kabu addresses larry with "—kun (くん)" in their second meeting in front of the restaurant. It's a japanese honorific to address someone who is a junior than you, in terms of either age or work experience/status. Inferring from this, kabu may either (1) be slightly older than larry in age (as I think they both have equal years of experience, just that larry happened be slightly superior to kabu in terms of their workplace status because he is also an elite four member), (2) be that friendly and warm as a person that he calls larry with "—kun (くん)" right away in the second part of their event's story, or (3) both.

How does Moe really feel about Caleb? Is he happy for Zeke? Is he worried about Zeke? Does he hate his GUTS-

He thinks Caleb is the most harmless golden retriever of a man he's ever met. Dude peacocks around for the customers and the servers with his chest puffed out, but as soon as he's talking to Zeke, he rolls over belly up. At first, he didn’t like the idea of some random witch (who he did have a bet on whether or not he’d sleep with Zeke) stepping all over dude time on Wednesdays, but he genuinely finds Caleb goofy and funny for how gullible and out of touch he is yet willing to learn in regards to life situations outside of his own. He’s nice in his own way, even if he’s a little full of himself, and would probably be a great buddy when he matures a bit.

Moe is definitely worried about Zeke, who’s never been shy about talking about his troubled dating life, getting his heart broken for putting it in the wrong place again. That seems like it’s going to be the case here again, but Moe isn’t going to interfere. He’s nearly 40 with a family to worry about, and Zeke’s a big boy who’s been through worse shit than this. If he needs a shoulder to cry on and a buddy to drink beer with when this goes bad, Moe will be there for him, but he isn't going to do more than give a waffley 'you know maybe be careful, man' before that.

And since Zeke is his best pal and an honorary member of the pack, the moment Zeke says fuck that Guy >:'( about Caleb, Moe will also be like yeah, fuck that Guy >:(
