Y/N L/N and CHARLES LECLERC: ALL WE KNOW ABOUT THE BREAKUP SO FAR. by Poppy Corinthia

When Y/N L/N first began dating Formula One racer Charles Leclerc more than seven years ago, the internet was not shocked. The pair first introduced each other as childhood best-friends, both growing up in Monaco, until L/N's eventual leave to NYC.

A love story like theirs did not stay behind closed doors.

Their relationship was first confirmed by an instagram post made by Y/N L/N (which has since been deleted following her karma album) that is captioned "the love of my life" with a picture of her and Charles Leclerc kissing passionately in Turks and Caicos.

This was followed by back-to-back appearances in the racing paddock, as well as Leclerc's attendance in all of L/N's concerts. July 10, 2024 the streak of attendance has been ruined. Leclerc has also not liked any of L/N's post about her Liverpool concert. Y/N L/N also liked a twitter post speculating their breakup.

nobody asked but i am Making A Post About It Anyways Because I Asked Myself If She Wanted An Update And They Said Yeah I Want An Update Thanks For Asking, Me. and i said No Problem, Me.

a lil update on my new baldur's gate 3 dark urge drow character Zore (pronounced 'Zor-ah' i always feel the need to include that alongside her name lol) that i made a post about the other day!

so i had mentioned previously that i'd had a specific like, purple/blue/pink kinda general color scheme in mind when i was first making her in the character creation screen pre-gameplay and that, because i can't play on a fancier more modern type of TV that has those super hd/more detailed color/resolution etc. type of options, the way colors look on the 10+ yr old regular flatscreen Living Room Family TV are pretty different than how everything looks in screenshots i take on my ps5 and then save to my camera roll or any other non-ps5 device. and because of that, Zore's skin tone (which i had attempted to make like a light blue with a lil bit of a grey undertone) just looked completely grey in pics i've been taking of her even though on my screen it was much closer to that blue tint i wanted her to have.

anyways i used one of those magic mirrors in my camp to go back into the character creator and made some tiny tweaks to try and fix that with.....Limited Success? she is still showing up pretty grey in certain environment lighting especially in screenshots, on my tv screen shes like undeniably light purple or lavender, but. frank sinatra voice Thats Life ! comparison of how her skin tones looked in screenshots before and after adding more purple:

this was the original one (Wisteria Tone 4), looked like much more of a subtle blue/purple overlay on my tv than how grey it is in the screenshots,

this is the newer color i ended up going with (Violet Tone 1), obviously shows so much more of that exact kinda blue/purple/slight grey undertone in screenshots that i was going for originally and looks like a brighter blue/purple on my tv....idk why she's still kinda showing up as mostly grey in so many of the actual gameplay screenshots i've been taking of her but i think its probably just certain areas of the map with bright daytime lighting that wash the non-grey colors out or something, its annoying. LOL. especially since i think the newer violet tone rly compliments the pinks i used for her hair and eyes and makes those pop a lil more and its very pretty, maybe once i get to a spot in-game without the light of 1000 suns hitting her directly she'll actually look purple/blue in more of my screenshots of her fnsjsgssgsgshshsf

one more 'character creator' screen view of her followed by an in-game pic (i think u can def see the blue and purple tones better than all my other pics of her in this one thankfully so thats why i feel like its probably just a bright lighting issue that sometimes turns her completely grey lol)

got to the area of the map where u recruit Karlach before i stopped playing last night (which i have been going back and forth feeling hesitant about whether i wanted to recruit her to my camp and/or party at all because she is my absolute fav companion and in my main save file shes my character's girlfriend so i KNOW.....that she has the sweetest most compassion filled heart of gold......and i KNOW my girl Zore will make so many decisions and actions that Karlach will absolutely not be approving of 😭 but i rly didnt want to leave any of the main act 1 companions behind so i'm just crossing my fingers that maybe if i have her stay behind at the camp most of the time she won't get so disappointed in me that she'll just leave all together 😭😭😭😭😭😭) and took a million screenshots of the whole introduction scene bcus i love Karlach so very much, so. please enjoy these two silly pics i edited of that scene as well

also accidentally took a pic of this dead npc floating in the air while Zore took his brain tadpole out for herself and it cracks me up so much, i was trying to take pics of Zore but the scene kept switching characters too fast it makes me giggle every time i see it

Aforementioned long ask post please excuse me while i try to figure out tumblr's new text editor. I’ll get into the art meme questions first and then the rest at the end.

Ok first of all thank you all for sending in questions! Giving me an excuse to talk hehe. I’ll address these in number order. Here’s a link to the ask meme for reference but also I’ll restate the question for ease of reading.

1. When did you get into art?

Super cliche answer but I don’t remember a time where I WASN’T the weird art kid! I started keeping a dedicated sketchbook when I was about 12? But here’s a page from my kindergarten journal about what I want to be when I grow up.

2. What art-related sites have you ever signed up for? 

LOL this is a weird question. Not sure why so many people want to know. Anyways I definitely had a dA. more than one dA account. I used to browse oekakis when I was a kid but I think I was only signed up to some small ones that internet friends owned. What else...? Mangabullet,Tegakie, Paintberri, iscribble back when that was a thing, instagram if that COUNTs, I used to post art on livejournal and dreamwidth too. Patreon, I guess. Gumroad, inprnt, bigcartel, storenvy all for selling stuff.

In terms of resources.. I have a schoolism account that I’m sharing with friends. Used to take classes on coursera for free. I signed up to textures.com for work recently haha. I can’t remember if I ever had an account on posemaniacs. Did they have accounts...? I definitely used to visit all the time.

3. Show us your oldest piece of art you have on hand.

Alright here’s me actually logging into my old deviantart account. These are from September 2008 So I was 13 years old. I don’t have a deviantart account from before then because 13 was the required age for having an account and I didn’t want to lie about my age because I wanted people to be impressed by how young yet clearly incredible at art I was LOL.

4. What defines your artistic style?

You guys are probably more equipped to answer this than me but uh... I wanna say... Focus on colors. And... a slightly heavy hand? Like confident... not always well-considered mark making HAH...

Also I think I have a pretty healthy mix of american comics/manga influences. I feel like people who are into american comics always think my art is too manga and people who are into anime/manga always think my art is too american. And I’m taking that as a good sign.

5. Do you practice other styles/have you tried other styles in the past?

I like to think I switch it up a bunch! I mean, these are pretty different, right?

I think I’ve mentioned this before but one thing I really took away from art school is that, for an illustrator at least, art style shouldn’t be consistent. Your greatest weapon is changing the aspects of your style based on the task, the emotions and message you want to illustrate etc. So depending on the project I’m working on, the fandom I’m drawing for, whether I want something to be funny or serious or dramatic, I’ll change things about my style all the time.

One thing I don’t rly post on here is really tight polished work and that’s because I do that for my day job haha. If you’re not paying me... I’m probably not gonna color in the lines.

6. What levels of artistic education have you had?

I have a whole ass diploma LOL. Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration. from the Rhode Island School of Design. And I had a great college experience tbh. Besides the student loans. If any of you guys are thinking about art school feel free to e-mail or message me questions or concerns, I’ll be happy to help. Be as honest as I can be.

7. Show us at least one picture you drew or sketched recently that you did not put on a public site.

8. What is your favourite piece that you have done?

Well, obviously this is gonna change all the time and generally it’s gonna be my most recent piece LOL. So yeah, why the hell not. I’ll say it’s this one. I have a pretty short memory which I count as a blessing for an artist. I don’t dwell that long on older work and it keeps me moving forward.

10. What do you like most about your art?

I like that it’s something that only I would make! I had this thought fairly recently and I wrote it down in my sketchbook, it’s pretty cheesy and rambling but it felt revolutionary at the time:

So yeah. I like my art best when it’s the most me and for me. And I like it least when it feels like I’m just making something for social media or for other people’s expectations or whatever.

14. What do you like drawing the most?

Kids in baggy clothing are like my go-to LOL idk if that’s obvious. but also I like being challenged so lately I’ve really loved drawing multi-character compositions, environments, weird angles, etc.

oh i LOVE drawing the underside of shoes lol. And bandages. People that are kinda beat up.. I think it comes from getting a bunch of cuts all the time. I’m always patching myself up and I want to patch characters up too.

15. What do you like drawing the least?

mmm I try to find something to like in every drawing but lets see... I don’t like doing commissions of people’s dogs. Just because it’s normally like... a family friend and my mom volunteered me without my consent and I don’t even really know what they’re expecting me to draw and I don’t even get to meet the dog. Also I’m not that great at dog anatomy. Trying to learn though.

18. What is your purpose for drawing?

This could have a million answers! Uhhh to GIT GOOD??? But also to express myself... and also to make money... I mean it depends on what the drawing IS. I draw fanart mostly to connect to people in the fandom so if you ever see me drawing fanart please take it as like an open invitation to talk to me about the character haha. 

20. How would you rank your art? (poor, mediocre, good, etc.)

Good!!! I have a lot of self-confidence primarily born out of ignorance and a short attention span. If I don’t think too hard about how many other artists are mindblowingly unfathombly good... its easy to think I’m good too! LOL

In all seriousness though, I think the opinion a person has of their art is like a crazy balancing act, right? Like you have to think you suck enough to want to get better but also you have to think you’re good enough to not want to give up. I think we’re all walking that line, I know I am! But also I’m a glass half-full type of person so. Most of the time I feel good about it.

22. List at least one of your “artspirations.”

This is a good question because I’ve been trying and failing to put together one of those “influence map” memes for like a full month now. What’s giving me a hard time is I feel like none of these are actually really obvious “““influences”““ in my art? Like it’s hard to see a lot of them in the work I make...? But idk maybe you guys’ll see what I can’t.

And these are just a couple! God there’s so many more. I could talk about other artists for ages, from all different genres of art. Daumier, Rockwell like every illustrator out there, Dana Gibson, Alex Toth, Hiroshi Yoshida, a lot of the Brandywine School. Lots of current working artists too, Karl Kerschl, frikkin Masashi Kishimoto lol, Jake Wyatt, Richie Pope, Edouard Caplain, Matt Cook, Sachin Teng, - lots of big internet artists, Sophie Li, Freddy Carrasco, Milliofish, Angela Sung... like all my friends from art school too. I could just keep going but I’ll stop for now lol.

24. Do you have a shameful art past? (recolour sprite comics, tracing art, etc.)

and that wraps up the delphi arc! our first true ‘arc’ of mtmte, and a fantastic one at that. short and snappy and fresh, with some very clever writing and cool new characters, and a lot of great plot threads to be picked up later. plus, we got to see the beginnings of drift and ratchet’s whole thing (and ratchet and pharmas whole thing). and the lost light gets some much needed extra medical staff, so everyone wins! 

well, we’ll see how fort max feels about this all pretty soon.....

How do you become the best version of yourself? I’ve come to terms with my own selfishness and egotism recently but I don’t know where to start or how to change. How do you do the real work instead of the surface-level work that fades after time?

hi i’m sorry this took me a million years to respond to, i rlly hope you see this!!!

and this is still something i’m working on figuring out!!! some things i’m trying:

1) i honestly just scold myself like a parent. whenever i find myself thinking something mean & petty about someone or wishing bad on someone & or being a little happy when i see something bad happen to someone who has done me wrong or anything like that, i literally just scold myself like i would scold my child if i heard them say some shit like that 

2) being gentle on myself at the same time tho!!!! everything is a process & things don’t happen overnight. and obviously i’m responsible for myself & there’s no justification for being as mean as i’ve been, but i’m still especially gentle with myself bc a big part of the reason i’ve become selfish & mean & irritable etc lately is the way that i’ve been treated by a handful of different people. the same way i would tell somebody else “i understand why you’re like this & that’s a normal way to react, but you’re still a person in society & you’re responsible for becoming a better person,” i tell myself the same thing

3) really just notice & correct yourself CONSTANTLY. one thing they always talk about on the meditation app i use is that it’s okay and even a GOOD thing when your attention drifts, because every time you notice that you’ve drifted & pull your attention back to the present moment you’re building up your ability to focus. so i feel like it’s kinda like that, you know? 

4) i’ve been trying to better myself in general lately! for me that means more reading, more time outside, more yoga, more physical activity in general, more baking, more meditation, more cleaning, less screen time, less dwelling on the people who have hurt me, less sitting around feeling bad for myself

5) i’ve been trying to do good things in the world again where i can 

6) practice gratitude!!! this could be something like a gratitude journal (never tried this personally). personally i try to actively notice as much as i can about the present moment (”this candle smells amazing, the way the light looks on that wall is so beautiful, i feel so loved right now, the wind sounds so calming in the trees, i’m so lucky to be able to cook this meal”). for me it also means that when i’m being bratty about something i’m actually very lucky to have, i talk to myself in my head like i’m telling a bratty 6 yr old version of myself what she should be grateful for 

7) something all the yoga teachers at my studio talk about all the time are “the stories we tell ourselves (about ourselves).” that could be anything like “i can’t do this because i’m not good at it” or “people don’t like me because i’m shy” or “i’m not the kind of person who would do that, so i won’t try.” i’ve been learning lately that they can also be “i’m not affected by anything, so even tho i feel like my feelings are hurt they obviously aren’t” or “i don’t have an issue with [x] so i obviously have nothing to work on.” i’ve been trying to identify these stories & actually find out whether or not they’re true & address them as necessary 

8) not everything is an attack or a reason to get your hackles up & it’s unhealthy to view the world that way. it’s also unhealthy to view the world as something to win or as relationships solely as something to gain something from. i’ve been rlly struggling to relearn this.  

9) take a beat before you react to things. whether it’s to avoid snapping at someone, or taking something personally, or viewing the situation through a selfish lens, just take a sec to let your emotions pass before you say or do something you can’t take back 

10) i’m examining all the relationships in my life. obviously i’m responsible for how i act & treat people, but certain people in my life just inherently bring out the worst parts of me & i’m either gonna be removing these ppl from my life or severely restricting our access to each other 

i rlly hope this helps!!!! i rlly think the key to breaking past surface-level change is not to shy away from things when they get hard while also being kind to yourself. anyways, best of luck, i think we can both do it 💖💖💖💖💖

Another random thought brought on by today’s therapy session:

I was 12 when my ed started. 12. When I look back on my life it doesn’t feel that young but when I see other kids who are 12 they are incredibly young. One of the kids I nannied first was 4 when I started watching him. He’s 13 now. He’s in middle school but that’s still so young!

My therapist today asked me to think about what my life would have been like if, when I was 12, my parents took me seriously and got me help. I couldn’t really come up with an alternative story but we did conclude that my life would have been vastly different than what it has been.

There is a local ed treatment center that has an adult unit, an adolescent unit, and then they team up with the local children’s hospital to have a children’s unit. They have also put out tons of research on FBT (Family Based Treatment) which has been a widely successful treatment for EDs in children and teens so it’s one of the things they specialize in. I didn’t get real ed treatment until I was in college and lived on my own. I can’t imagine what it’s like to have a parent involved in your ed treatment. FBT-never in a million years would my parents do something like that. Actually participate in my treatment? They wouldn’t even do that today!

I’ve said this before but it took 15 yrs and 3 residential stays for my Mom to admit that I maybe probably had some kind of an eating disorder. Then add another 10 yrs and a serious suicide attempt for her to actually support me in seeking mental health treatment. I remember in the Fall of 2018 when I told her my psychiatrist recommended I start ECT she rolled her eyes and sighed. I can’t remember if she said anything but her general response to my treatment plans, until recently, was ‘You’re an adult. Do what you’re going to do. I can’t stop you.” Even now that she’s more supportive than she’s ever been, when she takes me to ECT, instead of coming into the waiting room she waits in her car in the parking lot and the nurses have to walk me out to the parking lot since safety protocol means they can’t let me leave the facility on my own. It’s a huge thing that she even drives me there so, even though I rather her be in the waiting room, I get that it’s a pretty big deal that she takes me.

I truly can’t imagine having a parent encourage or even suggest treatment. My parents were so mad the first time I went to residential they wouldn’t allow me to come home for the summer (I was in college). Although they would say that decision was based on other things but even then those ‘other things’ were mental health related (my anger at them-well yeah, of course I was angry-and my depression). The third time I went to residential my parents refused to talk to me for a few days. To their benefit my hometown was experiencing a massive wildfire and it’s possible the phone lines were down. But say your hometown is burning down, you’re in residential treatment, and you don’t hear from your parents for several days-that was pretty rough. There were a few moments I thought my house had burned down and that’s why they weren’t answering. I really can’t imagine what it’s like to have a parent actually want you to get treatment. For it to not be such a battle. I think if I had gotten serious treatment for my ed and the underlying issues when I was 12, when everything was just starting, my life would have been completely different. Maybe it wouldn’t be 25 years later and I’m still purging dinner. It makes me sad to think about how it’s been and I still have a lot of hurt and resentment but I am also grateful that my Mom, for the most part, actually takes me seriously now. I wish it didn’t take me basically almost dying to get her to believe me but at least things aren’t like they were anymore. Anyway, enough rambling. Sorry for the rant. I didn’t know I needed to get that out.

Edit: I don’t mention my Dad much when it comes to these things but that’s pretty much because his presence in all of this is non-existent. Except for when I was in the hospital for my suicide attempt he has never once talked to me about anything mental health related. And honestly, talking to him about it would be incredibly awkward. It’s clear that it makes him very uncomfortable and he can’t bare acknowledging it. I’d rather he just act unaware than talk to me about since it would be so awkward. The difference between him and my Mom is that my Mom outright accused me of lying and has invalidated me for decades but my Dad just fails to even acknowledge that mental health exists. I’d rather that than to have someone actively accuse me of lying.

I dont care what people say in this fandom anymore. "I dont want to hear spoilers" " no spoilers" " you should tag your shit as a spoiler" NO IM NOT GOING TO! Ya know why?? Because Carina herself wouldnt have shown her shit if she didnt want SPOILERS OUT!! DUHH! And Im ranting because Im sick of the headgames with this show..it ridiculous..no wonder why people in this fandom are dropping like flies.

And Im sick and tired of the back and forth between M/M and M/A. Im sick of the headgames with the showrunner as well! One day its " Oh its Maria..shes his light" and whatever else is spewed. And the next its " Ohh Michael and Alex there journey is from darkness to light" and whatever other bullshit is spewed. Cause in reality its all Bullshit to keep Malex fans and Miluca fans to keep watching and fighting. If you ever cared to look at the ratings for season 1 they were abysmal. Only the first 2 episodes got over a million viewers. Which is horrible..but in full disclosure Theres only 1 CW show that has really any kind of following ( and hint hint its not Supernatural..That shows ratings are going down faster then a hooker on payday). Believe me I did the research. I dont understand why they are putting it after a tanking show if they want more viewers ( No disrespect to Supernatural, my daughter and husband love this show). But I digress..

The show runners know where there bread is buttered on this show and it is with MALEX fans. It even overshadows the Liz/Max shippers and Definitely over shadows Michael and Maria. Hell Vlamis and Tyler realized it pretty quickly..Vlamis made a sold out Merch line because of it. And they are the captains of this ship because they see the potential of how big it can be. Hell even the CW pr team figured it out! Thats why in the trailer we saw Malex and no Miluca?? Its not rocket science to figure this out!

So why now are the showrunners literally shitting on the LGBTQ+ community by taking away the only couple that represent that population on that show?? Then placating the community with "ooh Alex gets a new love interest" and the obscure and downright awkward " oh someone who Identified as straight in the beginning of the season will not be at the end". What a FUCKING FARCE! Like really?? As a community are we that desperate or obtuse?? Did nobody roll there eyes at this bullshit? Or am I the only one? We have a perfectly "cosmic" gay ship in front of us! Yes with baggage..no denying that..but thats the drama of TV I get it.

The reason is because the showrunners have no plans to make Malex anymore. There I said it and I SAW IT FIRSTHAND! In 2x01 Michael told Alex straight up they "were done" it was pretty cut and dry and lasted all of 2 mins...good to know Malex fans get two mins of heartbreak..that should tell you something. While Michael and Maria had 3 scenes..maybe more together. Granted they were not together at the end of 2x01 but According to Heather they will be trying to " ignite the spark between them" for the entire season. And that they're love is " exciting and blah blah blah".. No one gives a shit. Least of all me. But you can clearly see thats where its headed.

Also in season 1 there were some big hints too that I myself overlooked but they were glaring but subtle like the Max/Cam love scene intertwined with the Michael/Alex scene and the song playing in the background..that was telling... You dont see Max and Cam together. Or 1x12 prison scene " Cant love me" playing in the background and the words Michael spit at Alex..I dont think they were complete lies. Michael felt them on some lvl. And Alex's own words " Sometimes the world ends with a wimper, Guerin".. Those were all meant for Malex shippers as well.

And what about this "see if we can " be friends" or " we didn't even know each other" bullshit! I hate those lines..Like really?? Michael moved back to Roswell when he was 11..which meant that they went to school and living in a small town grew up together. At least for 7 or so yrs. They must have knew each other just for the simple fact of the Liz/Max dynamic..I grew up in many a small town i know this dynamic well. EVERYONE LITERALLY KNOWS EVERYONE! Maybe they didn't really hook up till the end of senior year. But they knew each other and I can almost bet that Alex admired Michael's protectiveness and Michael admired Alex's strength. And they also must have known about each others abusive pasts to a point..logic dictates that. And relationships have been built and survived on less.And if the showrunners wanted to make them " friends" for a time I could even tolerate it..tolerate being the operative word.

But no Michael's gonna "light the spark" with Maria..because in reality thats what the showrunners want. They dont give a shit about Malex working through their shit like logic adults would. And that's fine It just frustrates me that I was sold a lie..and every Malex shipper was too. Wake up fellow shippers and see it too. Or dont..Lies are comfortable like a warm blanket on a cold night. Everyone has some delusion they cling to..much like hope.

My last frustration with the ending of this ship will be that it is laid solely at Alex's feet. "He kept walking away", " He abandoned Michael for 10 yrs", "He left him behind", "I love him, I probably always will..but hes tied to all these horrible memories in my life. All the things his family did to mine. Coming back to him always feels like a crash landing" or the newest and deepest when Alex was giving him the file from Caulfield " Manes men did this to her".. Its always going to be Alex's fault. I wonder if Tyler knew the full extent of the way Alex was gonna be shit on. I dont think Tyler being openly queer himself would be ok with that kind of representation of the Gay community. Its pretty jarring... Honestly I can almost guarantee they probably " promised" him a more normal gay relationship with this new " character" Forrest. Whatever the case may be its still bullshit. Michael seems to hold no responsibility to it.

And Michael will still get the girl and be in his hetero relationship with Maria..because Im asking the question..is he really bi? Evidence in the show doesn't specifically back that up. The only man we see him with is Alex..I havent heard or seen him with other men. Even Michael himself said "Its just him..screws me up".. So maybe "Pan" is a better description?

So RIP Malex! It was good while it lasted.."cosmic" even..but the showrunners killed you off before you even got the opportunity to take flight! ( This is a rant about the showrunners and writers for the fake promise of Malex. I seriously have no issue with Maria or the actress per se...and if the showrunners wanted M/M they should have just started in Season 1 with them).

Man, I have a lot of thoughts about endgame! One, I agree that Tony's death suited his story well, but you can bet that I'm still devastated by it. But I feel like a lot of the characters were out of character, like Thor and Bruce/hulk, and even Natasha at the beginning (although I didn't mind exploring her emotional side). And I feel like the convoluted time travel plot makes more problems than it solves - like peter going back to school when everyone is five years older, etc (1/2)

(2/2) as much as I liked parts of the movie, like all the callbacks making it really feel like a wrap up to the first 10 years of this franchise, I feel like the film just didn't end everything right. I definitely agree that Tony’s death devastated me, and that Thor and Bruce were ooc––it was like the Russos took Ragnarok and thought they could apply the absurd sense of humour and somehow make it work in Endgame, but they failed?? like good luck trying to reach Taika’s state of mind and humour. Ragnarok worked because he made it work while keeping all the characters heroic and in character. I never even thought of the time travel issues. In most fiction I just kind of accept that time travel can be up to the writer to make the rules, since I’m not a quantum physicist and can’t really argue over the details of how it works. "Hyung, please... Remember that she's fragile, Ok?" he was nearly pleading at the doorstep, with a hand lingering on your back as you sent him and Jin off. Taehyung was just dismissing him without a word as he started meddling with something else around the walls.

In this dorm?"
