Bought a bunch of totinos cheap pizzas and ramen noodles to help make it food wise with the last of my money. I have $3.20 left in my account. After seeing what I do have and adding in that food then it cut about $25 off what I will probably need to make it till payday. So I have my phone bill which is $50, then gas which will be another $15ish assuming I only go to work. But I'm completely out of money. May need another day or two worth of food but I can probably stretch it by skipping one of my meals (I eat twice a day on a budget) once or twice which is fine. I've done it before.

So I'm trying to work this out to where I wont really need help or itll be bare minimum. Maybe I'll get lucky and someone else will commission me for lyrics or poetry since I'm still $70ish short on making it to payday. I can technically go without my phone, though. But the bill is still due and idk what they do with late payments or how that works. I paid my credit card for the month, I'm struggling to get meds for March since this pay period probably wont cover rent and I'll be a bit behind and have to use my mid march check with all of the one next weds to pay rent for March (I get paid biweekly so idk what I'm going to do for food at the start of March or anything yet either but that's a bridge I'll cross when I get there). But if I can make it to next weds then I can budget and find out what's going on from there.

Can i pay you to design a tattoo for me?

i’m not currently doing commissions rn but i would be open to it depending on what design you’re wanting and what you’d pay tbh cause i don’t actually know how to charge for tattoo commissions. I’m working on being a tattoo artist myself so in my head I only know how to price doing the design along with tattooing it if that makes sense. So it’s p much like if I think I’m capable of your idea and your offer is good I’d potentially do it :) 

a lot of people have asked this specifically if i could do a tattoo design and the main reason i’m not doing commissions for that rn is basically just the time and money aspect because i really need money for rent and just existing but at the same time i really don’t want to over charge or over work myself for too low if that makes sense, it’s just a huge dilemma lol so i’m basically just nit picking commissions depending on the design concept and price. hmu if you want though i’d love to hear your idea regardless of if i’d do it or not :) x

hey heres an update on my life

Soo in late may, after a doctors appointment and literally around the corner from our home, my mom was pulled over. 

we have no insurance on the car and luckily she wasnt arrested and the car wasnt impounded but we arent legally allowed to drive it and if she is caught driving it its grounds for arrest. 

she has a court date on July 13th iirc (im not home and cant check the exact date right now) but we have no way to get their other than my grandmother who is 

really fucking pissed off at my mom for some reason? but like the options were pay rent or car insurance and a house is more important to us and i guess she thinks thats offensive

ANYWAY we're hurting for money because we need insurance as well as extra cash for whatever the court fees may be. and like, my mom has a job but she cant go to it because we dont have a car. (and my grandma, once again was hounding me but this time behind my back, about getting a job again, LIKE BITCH HOW WOULD I EVEN GET TO WORK YOU DUMB FUCK) 

on top of that jazz we have no hot water. again. this time its likely a pipe burst because theres just a steady stream of water and the sound of running water constantly. now granted the pipes are as old as the trailer which iirc is from the 70s so like. yea this was always gonna be an issue but its at the literal worst time. 

we also have gotten shut off notices from the gas company, electric company, and internet provider. which is the least concern right now, ive been using our neighbors internet (bless them) and thats taken care of for now (of course we will have to pay it anyway or else theyll send collectors after us but it can wait honestly). the electricity is the highest priority because if you have ever lived in an old trailer you'll know theyre made of metal. 

and what does metal do when the sun beats on it because the trailer park cut down all our shade trees? it heats up like a fucking oven. (it was literally 92 in our house one day even with all three of our fans and AC on high.) its so unsafe for my mom and i, because of our medications, and our poor cat who has super thick fur so even just a bit of relief with the fans and AC is a godsend, hence the need for electricity. 

on top of that i have no proof ive quit my job and while the government had no problem finding out i had a job and cut our food stamps, they suddenly cant read or invade our personal lives to find out im unemployed again so our food stamps are still super low as though im still working. 

my mom and i live on her disability check which is barely $800, our lot rent for our trailer park is a little over $500 and we're just having a hard time. 

ive opened commissions for half price, i cant go lower than that though, its just not worth it if i do, i mean, im already offering my art for literal pennies at this point because im so desperate. 

if y'all could spread this around i would be super grateful. im hesitant to take donations because that feels like stealing to me sorry;; at least this way im working for any cash i may make

So, my current roommates (my sister and her bf) are having to move back to Biloxi because our apartments have been screwing us over hard (which is a whole other story) What this means for me is I have two weeks to scramble to find a new living situation. I'm trying to get a second job but I don't think I'm gonna manage it in time to avoid struggling and I'll have to be out of my apartment within two weeks (oct 13) My current course of action is to try and get a one bedroom apartment, quickly, and also to pay a 400$ car note monthly because having my car repo'd would just like. Be some shit I couldn't handle TBH. I can probably afford rent and my car note with some skipped meals and what not, but I still need a tag for my car (500$) and enough money to put down a deposit on a new apartment. So like. edit: ok so, as of right now, i did get a one time project to do for this company doing data entry and that has helped me a Lot and im a lot more stable than i was when i first made this. it should get me thru the rest of the summer until i can find a job on campus or if im lucky, find a job before the summer’s over. thank u to everyone who helped me, i truly appreciate it. if u still wanna help, u can hmu for a commission or buy my poetry book ! 

i hate that i need to make one of these but im in a difficult situation rn. i went thru some financial trouble recently and while i was able to get it resolved for the most part, i still was not able to get back all the money i was supposed to. right now i dont have a job and it’s pretty difficult for me to find one due to the fact that i keep looking but no one seems interested in hiring me after the initial interview. if i cant find anything soon, i will be probably without a job until i am back on campus which will be in the middle of august (and even that isn’t guaranteed but itll be a bit easier to find something then).

while most of my fees for college are covered by loans and scholarships, they dont cover textbooks. im going to do my best to find the cheapest ways to rent or get them for free, but at the moment i dont have a lot of money to be able to buy any of the books i need for next semester.

also, my mom is going through the process of getting a divorce and because of that, things will be tight due to my dad refusing to help pay for things. in the worst case scenario, he will refuse to help us pay for any of his debt and in that case i’m going to really need to try and contribute more, which is difficult now without a job. because of that, i’m asking for any help i can get. the following are some ways anyone can help:

oh wow ok i need to get this in the open, venting about money under the cut

my mom used to get a little over 800 dollars a month from SSI but since the insurance is now charging copays and such they lowered it to barely 700 dollars to pay for some insurance premiums

i just the cable/internet/landline bill on my email since its in my name

218 dollars, and our rent is 530 (ish im rounding everythong here so its not exact but u get it)

already we're in the red because we dont have enough for that

and thats only two bills

thats not including the 30 dollar water charge every month, or the electricity and heat which powers our AC and hot water respectively

and thats till not including other non food necessities

we had to use tissue instead of toilet paper one time, we just couldnt afford it. we cant afford gas in our car to get appointments, we cant afford dog food (or thats actually a priority before rent so scratch that) 

i feel so utterly useless right now bc i cant get a job anywhere

im trying but i just dont get responses and i cant (like physically and mentally CANNOT) call places bc phone calls make me spiral into panic attacks

plus no one wants to commission me for writing or editing so thats out of the question

and now im sick, and if i get put on antibiotics thats more money to spend (for co-pays) that we dont have

guys im so scared and i keep crying because this is becoming too much
