Half asleep dumb Bleach AU/fic prompt idea where the hollow part doesn't just go to Ichigo.

So after Masaki’s attacked and everything the hollow actually affects her slightly (Not that Isshin notices because he’s never been around humans that mcuh and just shrugs off most things like ‘eh just a human thing’) so not only Ichigo but Yuzu and Karin both have hollow powers and Ichigo’s are a bit more pronounced (And masters hollow powers super quickly and way easier than other powers)

They all have just hollow tendency normally, as well as traits like glowing eyes sharp teeth and nails making growling or hissing noises, good sense of smell and hearing and being rather feral.

Isshin is a bit concerned about Ichigo having such sharp teeth when they come in but figures it may be because of the hollow side of him, when the twins have them he’s like ‘Oh ok just a human thing then...that’s odd... maybe it’s a Quincy thing?’ the growling and hissing and eyes glowing occasionally are also like ‘...wow Quincy’s are actually weird’ (He remembers Masaki doing the same thing...at the time he’d just thought it was pregnancy cravings)

Isshin: Ok kids time for bed

Twins* Feral beast like growls*

Isshin: hey don’t growl at me bedtime

Ryuken is not sure why every time Isshin visits he brings fresh meat and asks if his and Uryu’s glasses reflect his glowing eyes back and if they needed a special prescription?... he just writes it off as Shinigami being fucking weird.

Chad, Orihime and the others just write it off as one of Ichigo’s quirks like yeah he has orange hair, he sees dead people, he has fangs and acts feral at times that’s just Ichigo being Ichigo.

Rukia’s freaked out like clear hollow similarities stand out... but then it’s not just Ichigo but his sisters as well and his dad doesn’t seem concerned...just mentions they take after their mother... Rukia just shrugs it off ok just a weird human thing then.

Urahara doesn't interact with the twins so he just thinks this is Ichigo’s hollow coming more to the front after the soul chain thing.

The other Shinigami are freaked out but the kid has Shinigami powers... and really they have to deal with Aizen right now after all it’s just one substitute soul reaper and according to Rukia this might just be a human thing...none of them have actually spent enough time in the human world to say for certainty that it’s not.

The vizards are mildly concerned how the kid seems more hollow without a holowfication but then again... Urahara was involved so all bets are off and the kid actually seems to be in control...plus he acts that way normally.

It’s only when the arrancar show up and show same balance of feral and instincts and normalcy as Ichigo and the twins that everyone realizes oh not normal.

Arrancar:FINALLY A SHINIGAMI THAT MAKES SENSE.

Also hollows staying away form the Kurosaki clinic after the twins almost rip their throats out with their teeth.

Andi, in her right mind would never attack an innocent, her symbiote knew this, she knew this, but the part of her that was Hollow, the part that was currently holding the steering wheel. And right now, the Hollow was hungry, meat, souls, didn’t matter, Andi had been doing all she could to starve it, it was getting desperate. The girl with brown hair and the bag of groceries headed towards a clinic was looking pretty appetizing right now.

Just as the creature is about to pounce, it stops. It senses something, someone, spiritual pressure, a scent, it’s a shinigami!

Perched on a street lamp, it lets out a howl. She can eat later, now the Hollow just wants to kill shinigami! And the one with raven hair who just appeared would be its first victim!

grimmjow doesn’t really strike me as the kind of person who says I love you out loud, ever. partly because there’s a vulnerability to it that he can’t stomach and partly because he doesn’t put a lot of stock in words anymore. like, Ichigo’s promise during their fight, he doesn’t actually try to capitalize on it in canon, not really. maybe if they’d crossed paths before TYBW but who knows? point being he’s very much an actions speak louder than words person and when he and ichigo do get together (slow burn from hell as always) he just… doesn’t say it. but ichigo figures it out from the little things. and it’s not grimmjow being overly protective — he’ll shove Ichigo into the nearest nosy hollow and laugh if it tries taking a bite out of him because he’s well aware Ichigo’s in no danger — but it’s grimmjow sitting with him after a nightmare, a silent but sturdy rock for Ichigo to cling to until he calms down. it’s grimmjow putting the claws away around his sisters and letting yuzu boss him around in the kitchen. it’s grimmjow never looking more satisfied than he does when they clash swords, wild and fierce and hungry for whatever Ichigo can throw at him. grimmjow never says it but Ichigo knows how much he’s loved because grimmjow always comes back.

Masaki who totally gains hollow powers after the shiro incident and when she dies because of this gives the middle finger to Yhwach bach and instead Masaki ends up in Hueco Mundo.

Just super power feral vasto lorde Masaki who’s in charge of a large area because not only is she super powerful she has the Mom voice.

“OK!” Your little sister chirped. Already making her way up the jungle gym, and barely paying attention.

You sigh, but let her play, and head over to the bench like you said. “She’s gonna break her neck one of these days.”

“She’ll be alright.” Ichigo assured. “Kids are pretty tough.”

“Tough is one thing. Indestructible is another.” You feel your heart leap in your throat as you watch your sister already upside-down on the beams. Laughing in between bouts of monkey sounds. “She’s gonna give me a heart attack.”

“Relax [Y/N].” The red head replied. Leaning back against the bench with his arms spread wide. “I swear, she’ll be fine. When Karin was that age she did way crazier stuff. She turned out ok.”

“My sister isn’t your sister, and Karin has a good head on her shoulders. Besides, it’s not just the jungle gym I’m worried about.” Ichigo looked over at you curiously and you sigh. Not in your nature to be cryptic. “With everything going on, it seems that there are just more and more hollows popping up. Even if they are just small ones.” There seemed to be a new one drawn into town everywhere they looked. Ichigo did a good job of keeping them maintained, with your help and the help of the rest of his friends. But…“for someone like her, with no abilities or sense of guile, they can be very dangerous for her. I just want to make sure she’s protected.”

Ichigo pulled his arms off the back of the bench and folded them in his lap as he leaned forward. “I know. I try not to think about it but Karin & Yuzu aren’t like me. They got the short end when it came to powers from mom and dad. Somedays I’m grateful for that. Others….I worry if I’m not there to protect them, who will? That’s why I fight so hard to keep everyone safe.”

You smile softly at Ichigo’s words. Knowing that he was passionate about fighting, not for the sport of it but the need. “I guess we both have an ‘older sibling’ complex.” Ichigo smirked back at you and leaned back against the bench.

“Thanks for coming to the park with me and [L/S]. I know this isn’t the most interesting date.”

“That’s ok. The park is pretty cool.” He replied with a shrug. “Plus, there’s ice cream later.”

Somehow, across the park and over a pack of screaming kids, [L/S] heard the words ‘ice cream’ and came running. Maybe she did have some kind of sixth sense after all.

Having a mini-phase where I'm really into Bleach again, anyway:

Aizen kidnaps the Kurosaki twins when Masaki dies and has them raised in Las Noches, alternately pitting them against each other and then against minor arrancar. He wants to see how much of their Shinigami/Quincy backgrounds he can force to the foreground via constant stressors and being surrounded by Hollow energy. If he's very lucky, one of them will accidentally become a Vizard of their own volition, which he would love.

Can't let them die by way of aggressive morons, though, so they're usually in the company of an espada with self-control and maturity, like Starrk, Nel, Harribel, or Ulquiorra.

After all, what mad scientist would pass up the chance for Twin Studies?

They're still alive, and Aizen finds it funny to taunt them with just what they're missing out on. They hate Aizen, but they're also a little resentful of the fact that (at last according to Aizen himself), there are lots of people who could theoretically come and save them, like Urahara and Yoruichi and their dad, but aren't. Aizen himself oscillates between 'your loved ones are too weak to find you, because I'm a genius and can hide your reiatsu even if they do look into Hueco Mundo, muahahaha' and 'look, they don't even care enough about you to come looking.' You know, just to fuck them up in the head a bit.

There are several options:

Orihime finds them when it's her turn to be kidnapped, and then Ichigo has a (loving and resentful) surprise waiting for him when he arrives.

Orihime doesn't get kidnapped, but Aizen draws Ichigo out anyway by sending a taunting six-years-late ransom video with Yuzu and Karin in it.

Yuzu and Karin slip out when Nel gets chucked off the tower, and spend the next few years until Ichigo shows up just hanging out in the desert, because none of them know how to open a Garganta, not even Pesche and Dondochakka. (They do, actually, but Aizen's still keeping tabs on his pet projects, and is blocking that ability from the Fraccion because, well, he can't just let the girls go home before he's revealed himself to Soul Society.)

The Invasion of Soul Society causes so much hullabaloo that they (barely) manage to escape through Aizen's Negacion exit. (They aren't sure if they succeeded on their own, or if Aizen let them go to cause more chaos.)

They befriend Lilynette and at one point mention that they miss their brother, Ichigo, whom they loved the way Lilynette loves Starrk; they haven't really been told the truth of Starrk and Lilynette being two halves of the same soul, but it's enough that Lilynette bullies Starrk into kidnapping her and her human-ish friends to the Land of the Living and/or Soul Society, which Aizen actually didn't predict.

bleach but ichigo is a little bit older, and gets adopted by a yakuza boss bc she's unable to have children, which is how he meets mizuiro.

i think the clan name would be Yorugata, and the kumicho who adopts ichigo (and karin & yuzu by association) is named Seiun.

after realizing that ichigo works better as an enforcer, seiun chooses to make yuzu her successor, each of the siblings gain their own titles, too!

Ichigo earns the title of 明星死 (Myōjōshi: star death) which i will "localize" to either Star Crusher or Star Breaker (so it can be Myōjōshi & Zangetsu, Star Crusher & Moon Splitter)

so he basically grows up with a "secretly" hyper-violent vodka aunt, , and isshin is completely oblivious to his kids' involvment in organized crime.

of course, with the kurosaki siblings comes some level of morals, so along with protecting local businesses and keeping other clans out of karakura and naruki, theres the illegal drug and weapons trade. under the combined might of ichigo, yuzu, karin, mizuiro, chad, and tatsuki, several rules are put in place; no selling drugs to minors, no selling alcohol to 15 years or under, no selling weapons to anyone under 10, no selling to people at all if they have a history of abuse or sex crimes, no human trafficking, period.

additionally, all members must be taught life skills (sewing, cooking, cleaning), and successfully mentor a newer member.

kisuke learns about ichigo's yorugata affiliation after rukia arrives, when jinta tells tessai about the 'really cool super awesome guys who helped with evacuating a building after a hollow attack and i swear they were glaring directly AT the hollow!' but jinta also imediately denies ever saying anything like that.

so kisuke doesn't know for sure until after the shattered shaft, where theur spar gets super vicious, kisuke can tell that ichigo is actually trying to maim him. (yorugata supplies very good service for the injured and disabled, and ichigo doesn't want to kill every enemy he fights, but he does have to permanently deal with them.)

Once they separated from themselves Ichigo told the hollow that he can stay with them, as long as he promised not to hurt his family and friends. For the past two years, Hichigo managed to keep his promise, but instead of trying to kill everyone around him, he just follows Ichigo around and continuously work his nerves just for the hell of it. It took all the strength in Ichigo’s body to not kill the hollow, but he was surely thinking about it late at night when he sees him snoring loudly in his sleep.

The hollow yawned loudly as he continued to flick through the channels on the television, "Fuck, I’m so bored." He laid his head on the couch pillow with a frown on his face, today Ichigo left for school which means he couldn’t follow him around to aggravate him. He was about to drift off into a deep sleep but heard the door open, making his ears perk up instantly. He raised his eyebrow as he watched Ichigo place multiple bags on the kitchen table, "Hey brat, what the hell is all of this?" He jumped off the couch to search through the bags which contained party decorations, candy, and a bunch of other miscellaneous shit Hichigo didn’t recognize.

Ichigo rolled his eyes at the nickname Hichigo gave him, "My boyfriend just graduated early from college overseas, so me and my family are throwing a party to celebrate him." The eighteen-year-old snatched the party decoration out of his hands whilst muttering insults under his breath. "Boyfriend? Someone likes you?" Hichigo attempted to hold in his laughter but failed miserably, the cackling of the hollow made Ichigo roll his eyes once more. He remembered when his own family didn’t believe him when he said he has a boyfriend. "C-Can I see a picture of this “boyfriend” you speak of?" He laughed and wiped the tears from his eyes, the thought of someone loving Ichigo romantically made him laugh even more.

"You idiot! Whose house do you think we’re in? And look! He’s right here!" Ichigo clicked on the photo of you, Hichigo's eyes widened and his laughter stopped immediately at the picture of the male before him. He had a clear dark brown freckled complexion that was sparkling in the sunlight, shiny ( h / c ) hair that seemed to be well taken care of, beautiful ( e / c ) eyes with glasses over them, and plump lips that has beauty mark under them. Ichigo smirked cockily and turned the phone back in his direction and his eyes soften at the picture, he remembered the backstory behind the photo vividly, he was on a picnic with you when multiple butterflies started to surround you. When you asked for help Ichigo’s first instinct was to take his phone out and started snapping pictures.

Hichigo felt like he had the wind knocked out of him at the picture, "My God." He muttered, someone that good-looking wanted something to do with Ichigo? Impossible! Ichigo’s grin remained on his face at the reaction of the hollow before him, "He’s quite stunning, isn’t he? I know." He shrugged his shoulders and started taking out the party decorations one by one, he was always prideful when it came to his boyfriend. He treated him like the most expensive trophy in the world waiting to be shown off, the number of times Ichigo bragged about you was insane.

"Hell yeah he is, I can’t wait to see him myself."

˚୨୧⋆｡˚ "WELCOME back ( Y / n )!" The Kurosaki family yelled as they popped the confetti poppers and blew the party horns with bright smiles on their faces. Your eyes widened at the bright and colorful balloons, tassels, and banner in the kitchen, "Congrats on graduating early ( Y / n )!" Yuzu and Karin wrapped their arms around your waist whilst laughing. You placed your bags down to help the two girls as you felt a heavy weight on your back, it didn’t take long for you to realize it was Isshin hugging you with dramatic tears leaving his eyes. "We missed you so much ( Y / n )! We were depressed without you!" The black-haired man continued to cry on your shoulder whilst going on about how Ichigo would take his anger out on him just for mentioning your name.

You couldn’t help but laugh at the father and his dramatic actions, when you first met him he was quite a handful. After the family released you from the hug another pair of arms wrapped themselves around you once more which almost knocked you down in the process, "I missed you, so fucking much." The familiar voice made your eyes water slightly. "I missed you, I’m so glad you’re healthy and well." You ran your hands through his soft and vibrant orange locks, you could feel the wet stains on your shoulder which suggested he was crying as well.

"Ahh I’m sorry guys, I didn’t intend on getting emotional." You chuckled and wiped the stray tears from your eyes, "No need to apologize, we all have feelings here." You raised your eyebrow and peaked your head over Ichigo’s shoulder to see where the voice came from. "I’m guessing you’re Hichigo, Ichigo told me a lot about you!" You removed yourself from your boyfriend’s grip to shake the hand of the pale-skinned male who had a smile on his face. He shook your hand and then placed a kiss on the back of it, his grin widened at your flustered complexion. 'He’s even cuter in person, Ichigo surely knows how to pick em.'

"Ichigo come help us cut the cake!" Yuzu tried to distract her older brother who was too busy getting held back by his dad. Hichigo continued to hold your hand to upset the male even more. Karin noticed the thick tension in the air and grabbed your hand to dragged you away from him, "Come on ( Y / n ), let’s open your gifts! The first one is from Ichigo!" She gave you the box wrapped in glitter wrapping paper. Once Ichigo calmed down he draped his arms around your shoulder from behind, even if he wasn’t the type to jealous easily he was still going to make sure to let people know that you’re dating him. And even Hichigo wasn’t going to come in the way of that.

˚୨୧⋆｡˚ THE sound of birds chirping was the only thing Ichigo could hear as the sunlight temporarily blinded him when he opened his eyes, the strong smell of eggs, meat, and other products made him sit up completely. The male stretched his arms and yawned one final time before getting out of bed to make his way to the kitchen, the sound of your laughter made him smile himself from your contagious laughs. But once he reached the kitchen his smile immediately turned into a scowl at the sight before him, he watched as you laughed with Hichigo as he leaned himself on your body with the same grin on his face as well.

"Good Morning, Ichigo. We were just having a little talk." Hichigo smiled at the orange haired male who was ready to rip his head off, from the shit-eating grin on his face itself Ichigo could tell he was up to no good. "Good morning babe! I made you some breakfast!" His scowl disappeared the second you pecked his lips and handed the bowl to him, the smell of delicious food made him take his mind of the fact that Hichigo was still here, and he was close to his boyfriend whilst he was asleep. The thought still lingering in the back of his mind, thinking about what Hichigo could’ve done to you if he hadn’t learned to control himself.

"Thank you, babe, also do you mind if I talk to Hichigo for a minute?" He sat the bowl down and grabbed the hollow by his collar and shoved him down the hallway then slammed the door behind him. Once the door closed Ichigo pushed Hichigo up against the door with a nasty glare, "What do you think you’re doing?" He gritted his teeth together to stop himself from punching the lights out of the smirking male in from of him. "I’m just spending some time with ( N / n ), he even said I could’ve stayed over last night. What’s the matter?" Ichigo’s grip on his shirt tightened at the nickname he had given you whilst Hichigo pouted and tilted his head as if he was a child.

"Don’t push your luck, you bastard." He kept his grip on his shirt until a knock made him let go, "Sorry for interrupting you guys but I made you a bowl as well Hichigo!" The sound of your voice made the hollow smile as Ichigo scoffed and rolled his eyes. "I’ll be there in a second ( N / n )! I can’t wait to taste your delicious food!" He looked at Ichigo in his eyes to see his reaction, God, the pisssd of expression really brought joy into his life. This was going to be fun.

˚୨୧⋆｡˚ HICHIGO glared at the Kurosaki when he pressed his lips against yours to form a passionate kiss, he watched as Ichigo opened one of his eyes to stick the middle finger at him before placing that same hand on your waist. For the past two weeks, he’d been competing against him to gain your attention. And right now he was winning, and Hichigo was furious about it. He sucked his teeth at the couple making out before a lightbulb appeared on the top of his head, the loud shatter made you pull away from the deep kiss to see Hichigo with blood covering his hand.

"Hichigo?! Are you okay?" You took his hand to examine the large gash on his blood-stained palm which came from the broken bowl that now lay on the floor. "No, it hurts so much." He closed his eyes and winced when your finger brushed against the cut, you quickly apologized and placed his hand down on the paper towel so blood wouldn’t start to drip on the couch.

"Can you hold this for me? I’ll get the first aid kit!" You jumped off the couch to go look for the medical supplies, Hichigo's frown quickly turned into a grin when he saw how the Kurosaki stared into his soul with hatred lingering in his eyes. "Why the grim look on your face? Is there something wrong?" He spoke and tilted his head to piss off the male even more, he could tell Ichigo was restraining himself from kicking his ass. "What the hell is your problem? And I know you did that on purpose!" He gritted his teeth at the hollow who only shrugged his shoulders at his idiotic question.

"Isn’t it obvious? I just want some attention from a cute guy, is it that bad?" He playfully pouted at the way Ichigo’s glare harden from his remarks. "Well that cute guy is my boyfriend, so back the fuck off." He went to the kitchen to grab the broom so he could clean up the mess Hichigo made, once he left the sudden snickering made him whip his head around. "What’s funny? I wanna laugh too." His grip on the broom tightened in case he needed to knock some sense into the pale-skinned male before him.

"Your boyfriend? By the time I’m done with him he’s gonna be o—" Hichigo couldn’t even finish his sentence because of the broom that smacked him in the back of his head harshly, the burning sensation from his head made him groan. He didn’t even have a chance to adjust to his surroundings before Ichigo snatched him up by his shirt, "Don’t you dare finish that sentence." The grin on Hichigo’s face made him flare up with anger.

"I have the first aid k— what’s going on?" You stared at the two male who looked like they were about to rip each other apart, the tension was so thick to the point you struggled to find air. "Ichigo?" You held the hand that was still gripping the shirt so he could let go, after finally letting go he rolled his eyes to pick up the broom to sweep up the broken glass on the floor.

"I’m sorry about him. May I see your hand?" You began to pour the alcohol onto the cloth, Ichigo clenched his jaw at the hollow’s dramatic behavior, the way he would whine and cry out every time you touched his hand was about to make him blow his top. Whilst scowling to himself an idea immediately came to mind, 'Since he wants to play that game.' He smirked as he pressed his nail to his face and slowly dragged it across his cheek with a loud hiss leaving his lips.

"Babe I think I just cut myself." He held his cheek in pain as you finished wrapping Hichigo’s wound, "What? How did this happen?" You turned your attention to him with your back now facing Hichigo who had a shocked expression on his face. "I don’t know, I was scratching my cheek." Tears started to gather up in his eyes, your heart started to ache when you saw his tears. You hated seeing Ichigo cry. Once you patched up his cut you pressed your lips against his cheek, the sight making Hichigo’s jaw drop.

"Hey, I think I need a kiss on my wound too." Hichigo pouted and held his hand for you to take, whilst trying to ignore the burning feeling in his chest. You nodded your head and kissed the palm of his hand gently, his smile never leaving his lips. Ichigo frowned deepened as he grabbed your hand, "Baby my cheek is starting to burn again, can I have another kiss?" He pointed to the bandaid with a pout as well.

"No, I think I need another one too!" Hichigo took your hand and began to drag you over to him, "No you don’t you asshole!" Ichigo held your other hand and dragged you back to his side. It didn’t take long for the males to start arguing whilst pulling you back and forth as your head started to throb. The two stopped when you pulled away from them and stood up from the couch with an aggravated expression.

"What the hell is the problem here? You two have been acting funny for the past two weeks!" You huffed at the two males who held their heads down in shame. "I’m...sorry, I just wanted your attention." Hichigo lifted his head up with shame written on his face as Ichigo nodded his head in agreement. "We didn’t mean to stress you out ( Y / n )." Ichigo looked back down at his lap to ignore your harsh glare that immediately turned soft from their confessions.

"Hichigo, you could’ve just asked. You know I would spend as much time with you for as long as you like. And the same goes for you Ichigo." You smiled at the two whose cheeks turned pink at the same time. "Now that we’ve cleaned things up let’s go back to watching the movie." You sat down between them as you leaned your head on Ichigo’s shoulder and intertwined your hand with Hichigo’s. For the entire day, the two males couldn’t help but feel embarrassed by their actions.

˚୨୧⋆｡˚ YOUR soft snores was the only thing that could be heard throughout the room as you laid on your back with a small smile across your lips, "Stop pulling him or else he’ll wake up!" Ichigo glared at Hichigo whose arms were wrapped around your waist and his were around your torso. It was your idea to cuddle with the two so you could them the equal amount of attention even when you’re sleeping. "That’s because you keep hogging him to yourself!" Hichigo glared back at him which made Ichigo sigh in annoyance, of course he’s going to hog him, you’re his boyfriend!

"Asshole you shouldn’t even be here!"
