Here are some homemade face masks for dry and oily skin

If you want to find the right mask for your face skin without wandering around the shelves of stores and spending loads of money, this article is for you! Although some formulas and targeted ingredients are found only within the commercial masks, you can make compounds directly in your home just as effective to achieve the desired goals. Let’s see together, specifically, some homemade masks excellent for two types of skin, or for dry and oily skin.

1. Dry skin

• Mask with honey and olive oil: Olive oil and honey are known for their moisturizing properties. To make this mask, mix two tablespoons of olive oil and two of honey. Then, apply the mixture to your clean face and leave it on for about 15 minutes.

• Mask with honey, argan oil and shea butter: This mask is a true booster of nourishment, softness and brightness. To make it, mix two teaspoons of argan oil, two tablespoons of shea butter and a teaspoon of honey. Once mixed and blended, apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse with a little warm water.

• Avocado and honey mask: Avocado contains vitamin E and carotenoids, essential to give elasticity, as well as many other substances that protect tissues and promote cell renewal, restoring the normal hydrolipidic film of the skin. What you need to do is take the pulp, mash it with a fork, and then add some honey. After that, mix everything and apply it tothe face and leave it on for 20-30 minutes.

• Mask with banana, yogurt and olive oil: For this super moisturizing mask, you need half a banana, 2 tablespoons of yogurt and 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Specifically, you have to cut the half banana into thin slices and, with the help of a fork, crush it until it becomes a purée. Then, add 2 tablespoons of yogurt and a teaspoon of olive oil, and once ready, apply the mixture to your face for about 15-20 minutes. Rinse your face with plenty of warm water.

2. Oily skin

• Exfoliating mask with honey, sugar and lemon: These two ingredients perform an exfoliating and astringent action. It is prepared by mixing 1 tablespoon of honey and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Once you get a creamy mixture, add the lemon juice little by little until you get the right consistency. Once ready, apply the mask to your face and leave it on for about 20 minutes, then rinse with plenty of warm water.

• Purifying mask with honey and cinnamon: The action of this mask is purifying and is achieved by combining 2 teaspoons of cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of honey. Once the two ingredients are mixed, apply the mixture on the face with circular movements of the fingers and then rinse with plenty of warm water.

• Honey and coffee mask: The combo of these two ingredients will treat the skin acne-prone, giving it at the same time hydration. In fact, honey will leave your skin nourished and soft, while coffee will gently exfoliate your skin. To prepare it, just mix a teaspoon of honey not too liquid with two of ground coffee, leaving the mixture to rest for a few minutes before applying it. Then, go into action: massage the mask gently, and then rinse with a little warm water.

• Green clay mask: To make this type of mask, which is purifying and sebum-normalizing, you will need honey, jojoba oil, infusion of chamomile (cold), ventilated green clay and a few drops of the precious essential oil of tea tree. First,mix the clay and gradually add the cooled infusion of chamomile. The result should be a compound with a spreadable consistency. Once this consistency is obtained, let the mixture rest for a few minutes and then continue to mix everything until you get a thick and homogeneous paste in which you have to dissolve 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of jojoba oil (the latter must have been diluted with 4 drops of tea tree oil). When everything looks like a homogeneous and spreadable mixture, you can apply the mask to the face, precisely to the areas to be treated, and let it act for about 15-20 minutes, until the product is completely dried. After the set time has passed, remove everything with a gentle massage or with a cotton pad, and rinse your face with warm water.

Conclusion

As you can see, everything you need is already stored in your kitchen cupboard. Now, you just have to use it to give your skin a moment of beauty in a natural way but at the same time super effective.

hey so i have a new fic coming (gimmie a month) but in the meantime heres images of my childhood bedroom

i took some of them when i was trying to be happy there and i took some of them when we were trying to run away. i think about the second to last picture often. the sign above it said things worth believing in. i had been trying to fill it for months. i never got the chance to finish it.

every time i thought of something, if i stopped to think about it through goggles that acknowledged how vast and wicked the world could be, in that way you are overwhelmed by evil when you’re little, it never seemed worthy of putting faith in. i only ever managed to add to it when i was blind with happiness, and that came rather irregularly. i always felt guilty about it later; how dare you find bliss in pretty boys and sweets and silly indulgent giggles. i still feel that way sometimes.

i try and find bliss in it anyway now. i think to the voice in my head, “you’re just a child. there’s no sin in happiness. there’s no sin in happiness. tonight you will nick yourself while cooking. tomorrow you will spill a drink. those aren’t sins, either. they’re just reasons to find your bliss now.”

and then the voice says back, “you’re being very silly.” and i think “i can hear you trying not to laugh. it’s beautiful. you’re so beautiful. happiness isn’t a sin.”

the sign was hidden in the corner, with my hope chest and my closet. it was six pages of white construction paper. i never filled up more than 1/8th of a single sheet. i looked at it every night. the first few days, when it was empty, i’d stare at it till i fell asleep kneeling on the floor. my knees would wake me up with stabs of pain, and it felt like penance for being alive. i can’t ever convey how wonderful first putting a marker to that paper felt; the turquoise ink spreading fat, welcome.

i went to sleep in my own bed that night and i woke up the next morning and wondered if the world was really as bad as it felt; and i decided it couldn’t be all that bad. i forgot the decision quickly. for the seventeen minutes i held it, i felt peace.

OKAY so in canon theres like. not alot known about them, backstory wise. theres also not alot known about them in present canon (not counting the comics) either? besides like, pyroland (i really really dont like pyroland for causing the fuckign "pyro is a child/has the mentality" of a child shit in the fandom. they are a grown ass pyro and they Kill People), which is something to do with their goggles/lenses thing making everything look like

and its canon (in meet the team videos) that everyone except like. engineer is scared of them (i dont like that part of canon either </3) but like. i really like that pyro and engineer are Buddy Pals. they even have matching cosmetics <3 (and as pyro you can protect engineers sentries n stuff with certain weapons)

but like overall theyre Really Silly and i love them. also they were confirmed to be "post-genderific" on reddit by ellen mclain i believe? which is Awesome. im really glad that the fandom (atleast on tumblr) is like, moving away from treating them as "Child/Pure Bean" BUT also keeping them silly. they deserve to be sillay

seth could easily pick naomi up and throw her (considering their job as a ballet dancer is... sometimes to do just that) (not with naomi, though, naomi's a herpetologist and lives in a different state)

anyway not done with the full thing i'm drawing, but the juxtaposition (and height difference) between Seth and Naomi's upgraded costumes, stylistically, was really funny to me so I wanted to put them side by side... i'd like to think this shows the difference in their personalities and theming pretty well, even with them having such similar structural elements.

details and closeups will come later when i post the whole thing

Update: made her gloves fingerless again so she can envenom people and added the mask version for comparison.
