Heya!! Welcome to this silly little project I've been working on for the past month or so. Yes, this is Homestuck Mario Kart. I 100%ed Mario Kart DS and wanted more so this is what I made.

This blog is mainly to just post my WIP updates and screenshots, as well as hopefully reaching out and getting others to help! I am a good programmer, an alright artist, a subpar 3D modeler, and a horrendous musician (And also a shitty speller lmfao). So if anyone would like to help fill in my shortcommings then feel free to seen a message or an ask!

I'm working on a Homestuck fangame

In case anyone's interested, I'm working on a Homestuck fangame made in the Godot Engine. For the time being, it's merely a tech demo. You can watch the trailer I made for SAHCon 2022 here:

A young man stands in his bedroom. It just so happens that today, the 12th of April, 2009, is the day before this young man's birthday. Almost thirteen years ago he was given life, and tomorrow it will change forever. Though the adventures that await him are far greater than anything that will happen today, he doesn't know that just yet. Today will be just another normal day for him and his friends. What will he do?

Part of me wonders whether the difference in art-styles in Distantquest was to make it painfully obvious that the Dolorosa adopted the Signless. I understand wanting all artists to do their own styles, but I also think that the team should have agreed on what interpretation of troll (insectoid, furry, basically humans, etc.) to use before letting the artists loose. Having only 1 troll be insect-like just makes her look out-of-place when with the other characters.

I don't think so since other volumes have different trolls with contrasting art styles. Dualscar + Darkleer and Reglare + Grand Highblood are one such cases. I can't even say hemospectrum is what determines the differences in looks/appearances. So the higher a person is on the hemospectrum, the uglier they get? I feel bad for how The Condesce will look when we see how GHB and Dualscar looked.

But yeah, they should have a set base outline of what all trolls should look like (based on insectoid, furry, grey human, or the base troll character with different clothes/height) before giving it out to different artists. I'm also on the side that it should be one artist doing all the sprites or the artists doing one kind of style and committing to it so we won't have these jarring contrasts. I can somewhat forgive them on not doing this because they are indie compared to something like WhatPumpkin. Though it doesn't change the fact that these kinds of inconsistencies are still present as the project continues despite the number of people being present and able to communicate with one another that they don't realize or see certain flaws that aren't just coding.

Hey, did yall know I made a game?

Paradox Lost is a planned 12 volume sequel to Friendsim on a new Alternian colony with 12 new trolls to befriend based on the eastern zodiac! Once friends, they've drifted apart after a tragedy, and only you can help bring them back together in time to prevent disaster!

The first volume is already out. Volume 2 is 99% done and stuck in limbo at the moment because I've been too broke to commission the music for it, but hopefully that'll happen before too long, and in the meantime I've already started volume 3!
