apparently the rey palpatine skywalker discourse is happening again and my main thoughts are that I really would rather have not had her as a palpatine because frankly I thought and think that bringing him back without the Momin Method is hackneyed and also having to explain rey’s powers with “but she’s a palp–” kinda sucks, but if we have to have palpatine back, and have to have rey palpatine, then having her throw that in his face and turn around and take another name is pretty bomb, and if rey is creating her own legacy, why not skywalker?
