this one is basically just my sword team but with 2023 updates since i've grown to like dracovish and falinks

no real ideas for the swsh portion of the au yet besides maybe capitalism talk. idk. i'll probably adapt the gyms to be this very overglorified thing? where like it's forced on a lot of people and is not handled well, especially if you win, because the man running it is corrupt and has sorta weaponized it compared to other regions. like maybe he's using gigantamax energy for his own benefit which is why you don't join the league if you can't gigantamax.

my favorite rival thing in pokemon is when you go into the villain’s lair and you have to defeat like a billion grunts, and your rival goes down with you to fight with you. like calem/serena coming down to the team flare lab with you and pairing with you for all those doubles battles. like yes…. maybe ur my rival but we’re still gonna team up to save the world !! ur my rival but i still won’t let you go down there alone!! literally the only moment in the game i didn’t hate the x/y rivals

or hop going up rose tower with you and fighting off all the macro cosmos randos in doubles battles … idc if hop’s dubwool was useless and i was essentially going up rose tower doing 2 against 1, that’s my FRIEND
