Jack doesnt really know what the pocky game was to be honest, and he'll communicate as such, but he's open to trying it out.

You explain the rules to him and he tries (keyword:tries) to keep himself as composed as possible and has to constantly try to keep his tail from wagging

He agrees with little to no complaint and accepts your "challenge" he likes seeing you all awestruck after all. Not that he'd ever say that outloud.

Jack decided to take initiative and grab a pocky stick, plopping one into his mouth stiffly as he waits for your response, giggling you simply bit the end of the pocky gently and hummed happily, enjoying both the flavor and jacks expression hehehe

Deciding to be bold, you leaned closer and closer, seemingly trying to get a peck from him to tease him

Jack merely froze, his tail going stiff and eyes wide as he anticipated the kisd until-

♡ 𝐁𝐀𝐉𝐈 can promise that no one else can compare to you. He met you at a cafe where Chifuyu had taken him to and since then, he knew if he were to go to distinct path, it'd had to be with you.

- Your voice would be at the top of the things that leaves him stunned. Every tone and every lyric drawn with emotion and he can hear and see it clearly as if you were painting a perfect image.

- He'd stop by to multiple gigs of yours and every time he's attracted to everything you do while feeling starstruck when your eyes would meet. Sure, he could approach you with the right amount of confidence but there's still that stutter in his pace of moves when you're near him.

- Your aura, your presence with just an instrument in tact, it just makes him want to know you more and that he does.

- He's slow with the process of knowing you because everything about your personality was worth going through piece by piece.

- When he does get to take you on a date, he feels like he's on top of the world and as a few months pass by his admiration for you strengthens.

- In your room, his heart is foolish with how you sing in front of him, away from your bandmates, he feels like he doesn't thank the gods enough for making this happen. He's listening on every word you say, every harmony that leaves your mouth and every rhythm you make with your guitar.

- When you play, you're mostly lost in the moment just singing or playing with every bit of your energy and Baji can't help but lounge his eyes on how happy you looked to do what you're passionate about.

- He'd wave to you at times and you'd send him a wink which ignites his admiration even more.

- If you two are alone and you're still practicing with your instruments, Mitsuya has never looked so zoned out in his life with how focused he was in you. - If he feels like it, he'd sing with you which you loved to hear. He'd be looking at you at certain lines that were just meant for you, looking at you so lovingly that it makes you forget the tone.

"Mitsu, stop staring at me like that."

"I'm sorry? The lyrics had the word world in it and you're the only person that fitted that."

"You're going to kill me."

- Stage kisses. I see it happening too often with Mitsuya. He's always in the front row and you just crouch down to give him a kiss, a tug on his collar and he was sure he'd never be able to breathe properly again after it.

- Mitsuya would take the time to learn a few chords for you and once he's gotten a hang of it, he'd sing it right to you, eyes on yours with a stare that sets your heart on fire with how in love he was.

- But even so, he specifically likes it when you're on his lap while you just continue on making music. He just loves the intimacy.

- He loves hearing you sing whether that'd be in the kitchen or just doing something normal. Sometimes your voice just plays in his mind when he's in class and it just makes him smile.

Most especially when your singing to him slow and nicely, the perfect lullaby as usual.

- Once you were done performing, he realizes how stunning you looked even if you were just conversing with your bandmates with a bass slung over you in which he hesitates to approach you but the roles have been reversed.

"Chifuyu? Hey, I'm glad to see you here!" You greeted him happily, remembering how you liked talking to him—bonding over a few artists and promised to meet up more.

"You were amazing out there, Y/N." He says, a bit flustered. He can just feel how cool it was to talk to you and it's edging his confidence but seeing you smile like that to him, he relaxes a bit.

- Soon enough, you've found yourself in love with the blonde and the relationship begins.

- Chifuyu has written a few poems in the past just for random reasons and when you skim through a few of them, you're just making the most out of it by experimenting on new chords and playing around with the tone while he just stares in amazement at how you're just doing it all at once.

- You're singing his poems to him and a few drafts of songs you've written before and every time you look at him, he genuinely feels like its about to go crazy and when you finish the song, Chifuyu has his hand delicately resting on your cheek while he leans in.

"You're just a work of art on your own." He whispers before kissing you, the first kiss to many more.

- I also feel like he'd sing with you, if he's reading a manga and there's a song playing in the background then you two would sing to it.

- Alike Mitsuya, he would also put in so much effort in learning how to sing and play for you. He'd ask some help from your bandmates and try to ask if he could join your band practice just to sing for you after all the things you've done for him.

- And that day will never be forgotten by you, with his sweet voice welcoming you in an embrace and you could tell his nervousness had disappeared when he closes his eyes, in the same manner as you when you perform, while he walks to you, mic in hand with the same stare you'd never be able to express how it makes you feel before his hand is holding onto your cheek before he sings,

i’m trying to pick up writing again. i used to write when i was younger but it was the cringe type. i wouldn’t use paragraph breaks and my grammar was off. now i’m older and don’t know how to actually write something good T-T. do you have any tips? specifically on characterization. i really respect and love you because yours always turns out good.

so lemme say that in no way do i think my methods are superior to someone else’s!! i don’t want to come off as some arrogant writer that believes they know all the ins and outs to writing bc honestly... unless ur a professionally paid writer with a career for writing then we’re all just some tumblr bloggers on the same path and probably going to end up doing smth other than writing later on LOL. so pls take this all with a grain of salt and pls lmk if i come up arrogant or smth bc i don’t want to and i’ll work on wording myself differently!!

for characterization, i sometimes do tiny analyses. so if a character has done action A and action B, i put them in a mental venn diagram to figure out what the reason behind them was. is it a response to an external or internal factor? is there a consistent trait underlying one or both actions? how have the characs changed since these actions? what are the changes?

i’m big on asking myself questions bc then i get a deeper understanding of who i’m writing for — like solving a mystery case or something. i do that for hq characters and my reader/oc characters ^^ it rly helps get away from the stereotypical tropes (like shittykawa) that people use bc u can make the character yours with diverse responses and stay true to the canon. it also helps get away from writing characters as foils to one another, although there are cases where that’s unavoidable

u guys already know that i use astrology in my writing so.. that’s a thing AHAH. i try to figure out which planet, house, transit, aspects, asp patterns, etc would be most influential during certain scenarios and fics so thats always helped me have some originality with characterization.

and another thing is childhood!! not just <10 y/o but even teenage years. i think abt that stuff and how my own influences me. like there are things in my childhood that occurred that ik made me who i am today (ex: hardass narcissistic phase -> being a lot more appreciative + humble for what i have + my efforts). so characters are the same too! if there’s even a small mention of smth that happened in their past, u can use it to map out its impacts.

even no impact is impact. did they not learn from it? are they ignoring it on purpose? are they stagnant?

another thing i can think of that i do is maybe mbti? not too much tho, only with characters i’m rly familiar with.

and last thing is events! whether it’s taking place in a real world setting or a made up one, there are events that go around and shape characters. kamino ward for bnha or new technology being released in the 2010s for hq. things like that seem so small and are never considered when you can rly take advantage of them. ik i’ve experienced a diff life than some of my older friends bc of the events that went on when i was growing up vs their events (same for ppl much younger than me). so with every character being different, u can take their responses to these events, find their foundation, and use them!
