I cannot believe that season. truly just. there was not a single episode I didn't sit down to without a genuine conviction that *this* would be the episode where they spit all over everything I loved about the show. I braced constantly throughout the episodes as they kept setting themselves up for Very Stupid story choices only to pull the rug and go "HAHA surprise, idiot!!! We've given you exactly what you wanted <3". until the final episode which was NOT what I wanted and also exponentially better storytelling and character development than any of the ideal scenarios I'd constructed.

something deeply meta about it all. truly a chaos season for the chaos god, where the most chaotic, unexpected, transformative thing they can do is to be good.

Spent the day processing my love for this season only to have your message sum my thoughts and feelings up perfectly, thank you so very much for sending it 💖

Same as you, not for a second did I go in truly expecting anything from s2. Owen and Mobius have my heart, always will, so primarily the show was a vehicle to provide whatever crumbs of his scenes and chemistry with Tom I could get and with the start of every episode I braced for the moment that would get ruined in some way, only to be continually hit with everything I've ever wanted in a show or pairing right up until the finale. Which, while not what I would've chosen, was beautifully crafted and an almost Shakespearean tragic romance that will haunt me for the rest of my days and is still infinitely better than the nightmare scenarios I'd been floating around in my mind so at least there's that and it's impossible not to be thankful for eps 1-5 for giving content anyone could dream of and more 😅

Besides the obvious ending, I'm mostly crushed our Loki and Mobius didn't get a proper goodbye but honestly believe Loki decided to seek out s1 Mobius instead knowing s2 Mobius loved him too much to ever let his sacrifice happen and it would've been too much to bear, so having made his mind up already he at least tried to visit a version most likely to validate his choice. Just wish the Mobius now waiting until the end of time had at least a similar opportunity, but I'm just thankful he didn't lose his memories and could make his own decision that his faith in Loki is what's carried him before and will continue to do so now.

The flip of their characterization from order or chaos is exactly what has me convinced Lokius will reunite because how can they not with such an open ended future?? Even in separation they revolve around each other and they're the only ones left wanting. Mobius and his life are in ruins with nothing but the passage of time and possibility of some spent with Loki ahead while Loki's surely going to find a way to meet halfway when the choice of order has not only made him potentially the most powerful being in existence but one who spends eternity looking at the only person who ever saw him back.

Jealous of his brother (Jealous!Vergil x Reader)

Vergil had a problem that he refused to talk about: he got insanely jealous whenever you were around Dante. He couldn't, and refused to, explain why he felt this way, but he did.

Maybe it was because Dante was so charismatic and easy to talk to, and he wasn't. Maybe it was because Dante didn't look as intimidating as he did, or maybe it was because Dante had the confidence to do things Vergil wouldn't even dream of doing.

Whatever the reason was, it made Vergil very insecure and envious of Dante whenever he saw the two of you together--just watching you greet his brother made his blood boil. Unfortunately, there was nothing he could do about it, except sit and fume in silence, as he was doing right now, while he watched you and Dante chat about the latter's experience during a recent mission.

"...Yeah, then one of those Hell Caina bastards came stunblin' towards me, so I leaped outta the way like this-" Dante did a backflip, pulled his pistols out, and landed on the ground with his guns extended. "Then I pulled the trigger and ripped 'em to shreds!"

"Wow, nice!" You praised, clapping. From over in his seat, Vergil scoffed. Like that was so impressive, a stupid backflip. He could do a triple-spin mid-air! "That's pretty cool, you think you could teach me to do that sometime?" You asked, making Vergil's internal temperature rise even further.

"Love to. How bout this weekend?" Dante replied. When you nodded, Vergil stiffened like a board and clenched his fists.

"Sounds great," You responded, beaming. "I'll see you then. Bye." Dante winked at you, then walked off, presumably to partake in whatever debauchery he usually did. Vergil, on the other hand, busied himself with more noble goals: following you down the streets to your shared home. Once you had set foot through, closed, and locked the door, Vergil circled round to the back of the house, and from there, opened a portal with the Yamato because he never took his keys. He stepped through it and emerged in your living room, where you were reading a book.

"Y/N." His voice suddenly echoing from the corner startled you, but you quickly composed yourself.

"Hey Verg," You responded, setting down your book and standing up to hug him. Vergil accepted your embrace as stiffly as he always did, but something felt off this time. He appeared even more tense than usual, a sign that something was bothering him. "You alright?" You asked, gently rubbing circles into his back.

"...No," Vergil admitted, after a long pause. "No, I am not."

"What's wrong?"

"I...overheard you talking to Dante, earlier," Vergil confessed, sighing and wrapping his arms around you. "I...suppose...I got....jealous."

"What? Jealous? You?" You giggled, sinking deeper into his hug, flattered by the fact that he would feel jealous of someone because of you. "Why?"

"I...well...I was envious of Dante...." Vergil cleared his throat awkwardly before continuing, "Because he...because you....seemed so...comfortable around him." You looked up at him, eyes widening.

"Really?" You asked, amazed. "You got jealous...because I was getting along with Dante?" Vergil let out a low grumble and looked away, his pale cheeks beginning to tint pink. You grinned and hugged him again, as tight as you could. "Idiot! Like Dante could ever replace you! We might be friends, but that's it! Nothing more." You reached up, cupped his check, and directed his gaze down to you. "No matter what, I'm always gonna love you, Verg. You're my favorite Sparda twin." Vergil's expression softened at these words, and he leaned down to place a brief kiss to your cheek.

"Thank you, Y/N. I am thankful for the affirmation." Vergil could now breathe easier, now that he knew his jealousy was unfounded and that you would always choose him over anyone else. The man of motivation was even more motivated now that he knew he was your favorite son of Sparda. Take that, Dante!

Hey Everyone, I hope you are all doing amazing since Christmas is almost here in a few days. I was inspired to write this and I hope you all enjoy this. Requests are Open Thx and Enjoy 💖🌸

POV: This takes place in the Modern UA and it's in Tengen house since Tengen hosted a party and He brings Mistletoe to the party. You and Rengoku are dating so Tengen decides to get you both to kiss under the Mistletoe. (Ft Hashiras and Kamaboko Squad)

It was a normal day at your best friend Kanroji house since you along with Shinobu, Kanao, Kanae, and Aoi, had a sleepover and decided to have a girls night and it was the weekend. The five of you were getting ready for the party Tengen was hosting at his house.

"I'm so excited for this party" Mitsuri said as she admired the clothes she wore and began to do her hair. "Oh We are all excited too Mitsuri" Kanae said as she was helping Shinobu do her hair. "Sister Don't try to tangle my hair" Shinobu said as she did her makeup as well. "Oh I'll be careful Don't worry" Kanae giggled.

Aoi and Kanao were doing their makeup and finishing doing their hair. Meanwhile You were deciding what to wear since Kanroji has outfits for everyone to pick and choose.

"Is everything Okay Y/N?" Mitsuri asked you as she noticed you were desperately looking for something good to wear for your boyfriend Rengoku. "Oh I'm Okay Mitsuri I'm just deciding what to wear" Y/N said as she looked in the mirror to see which outfit was best

"Somebody's getting ready for their boyfriend" Shinobu teased you. "Oh C'mon Shinobu You're getting ready for Giyu" You responded to her. " Oh that's true I'm getting ready to see Giyu What about the rest of you Who are you all excited to see?" Shinobu asked. "I'm excited to see Tanjiro" Kanao said "Well I'm excited to see Inosuke" Aoi said "Oh you mean your king of the mountain" Y/N teased her. "Oh Yes Y/N please stop teasing me I know he has to always say that" Aoi said. "I'm excited to see Sanemi He is so lovely" Kanae said as she was thinking about Sanemi. "Oh I really can't wait to see Iguro Oh I love him so much" Mitsuri said as she was finished getting ready.

"What about you Y/N" Mitsuri asked you. "Oh you know I'm excited to see Rengoku Oh I want to hug him and kiss him" Y/N said as she was thinking about Rengoku. "Yeah we all know You two are the cutest couple since Highschool" Mitsuri complimented. "Yeah I'll never forget the day he asked me out it was around Christmas week It was a true Christmas Miracle" Y/N said happily remembering the day.

"Well we should head to Tengen house Iguro messaged me If we're on our way there" Mitsuri said as she checked her phone. "You're right Mitsuri because I got a text from Giyu asking the same thing" Shinobu said as she also checked her phone too.

"C'mon girls let's go in my Car the boys must have already prepared everything at Tengen house" Mitsuri said as everyone grabbed their Purse and headed to Mitsuri's car. Once everyone got in, It was time to head to Tengen house for the party, Y/N kept thinking about her loving boyfriend Rengoku.

During the car ride it was fun. Y/N along with all the girls were taking selfies and playing their favorite music on Mitsuri radio.

At Tengen House

Finally they arrived at Tengen house and the boys were happy to see their ladies and went to greet them. Mitsuri hugged Iguro, Kanae hugged Sanemi, Shinobu hugged Giyu and kissed his cheek, Tanjiro hugged Kanao, Aoi kissed Inosuke, and Rengoku came to you, hugged you, and picked you up; swirling you around and finally he kissed your lips passionately.

"I missed you so much yesterday. My Love" Rengoku said and caressed your cheeks. "I missed you too Kyo. How was the sleepover with the boys?" You asked him

"Oh it was amazing My love We did many fun stuff and how was it with the girls?" He asked you "It was amazing Kyo" You responded with a smile. "Aww I'm glad you had a fun time" Rengoku said and looked at you. He loved your outfit a lot and couldn't stop looking at you. Finally after five minutes Tengen came outside He was dressed as Santa for the party. "Alright lovebirds C'mon the party is about to start and let's make it flashy" He said with a smile.

Everyone went inside before it got cold outside. Once everyone got inside there were other friends too like Muichiro, Yushiro and Tamayo, Genya, Zenitsu and Nezuko, Gyomei, and Tengen's wives. "Alright let me put some music to get the Flashy party started. Tengen said as he headed to put the music on. He put on Christmas Carols and everyone got comfortable but as the party continued Tengen decided to bring the Mistletoes later on in the party.

He decided to go for Iguro and Mitsuri first so he snuck behind as they were talking to Y/N and Rengoku along with Giyu and Shinobu. "Hey lovebirds" Tengen said behind Mitsuri and Iguro as they jumped. "Oh Tengen are you serious man why did you come behind me and Mitsuri like that" Iguro said "Look up Iguro" Tengen said as Iguro and Mitsuri looked up and saw the Mistletoe . "Do I have to do it in front of everyone?" Iguro said giving Tengen an expression. "Hey it's a Mistletoe and you know the rules buddy" Tengen said smiling. "Alright I'll do it since I'm with Mitsuri C'mon here Mitsuri" Iguro said as he kissed Mitsuri in front of everyone.

"Oh wow Iguro that was a lovely kiss" Mitsuri said as she blushed and hugged Iguro. "Hey Tengen May I ask why Mitsuri and Iguro kissed when you showed them the Mistletoe?" Y/N asked curiously. "Oh Let the God of Festival and Flashiness explain that to you Basically every Christmas the Mistletoe is special because you stand underneath it and kiss your lover since it's a symbol of your promised love to them" Tengen explained smiling.

"That's a true Christmas Miracle" Gyomei said as he clasped his hands together and prayed. "Oh when will we kiss under the Mistletoe Nezuko" Zenitsu asked as Nezuko just looked at him. "When you deserve it" She said teasing him.

Yushiro looked at Tamayo and blushed "It would be amazing and lovely to kiss you under the Mistletoe Lady Tamayo" He said in his head. "So everyone be on the lookout for Mistletoes because this will be flashy" Tengen said smiling.

"Oh so you're going to hang Mistletoe everywhere during the party buddy" Rengoku asked as he sipped on some hot chocolate Y/N gave him. "Um Yeah best buddy Of course to make this party flashier than ever" Tengen said happily. During the party it wasn't that you didn't want to kiss Rengoku under the Mistletoe, Sure you wanted too but you wanted it to be a special moment where it was just you two.

The party was getting better and better, Tengen had been putting Mistletoe everywhere. He got all the lovebirds to kiss under the Mistletoe now all he needed to do was to get You and Rengoku to kiss.

As everyone gathered around the fire it was warm and cozy since you had Rengoku by your side. He put his hand around your shoulders and wrapped a blanket around you two to be comfortable. Tengen decided to bring the Mistletoe in and he put it in front of Rengoku and Y/N. "Alright you two lovebirds you know what to do" He said.

Y/N and Rengoku looked up and it was Mistletoe, Rengoku looked at Y/N who was nervous since she hasn't normally kissed Rengoku in front of people. "Do you want to kiss me My love" Rengoku asked wanting to be sure you were comfortable with it

"I do Kyo, but I wanted it to be somewhere special where it was us under it" Y/N said as Rengoku hugged her. "Aww My love If you don't want to it's Okay"Rengoku said as he held your hand and kissed it. "Um Excuse me Romeo it's a Mistletoe so she has to kiss you it's the rules" Tengen said.

Rengoku looked at you as You looked up at the Mistletoe again. "Kyo Do you want to kiss me underneath the Mistletoe" Y/N said blushing and smiling. "Of course My love, always forever" Rengoku said as he pressed his lips against yours and began to kiss you passionately as Everyone began to clap.

Mitsuri took a picture and showed you. "Oh Mitsuri Thanks, send it to me so I keep it" Y/N said as she gave Mitsuri a hug. "I will Y/N" Mitsuri said and sent the picture to you. "My love I enjoyed that kiss" Rengoku said and hugged you. "Me too Kyo We should do this every year" Y/N said and caressed Rengoku cheeks. "We should My love, your kisses are a true Christmas Miracle." Rengoku said.

"Aww Sure we can My love I'll be happy to keep you warm" Rengoku said. "Anything that you desire I shall do My love" He added. "Can we cuddle with blankets too" You asked "Of course with blankets My love" He said.

"Can we also drink hot cocoa too" Y/N asked. "Sure My love, all your desires and wishes will be granted" Rengoku said happily. "Then let's get to it" You said excitedly.

Once they got home Rengoku went to Y/N side of the car and picked her up. "C'mon My love, I have been waiting to cuddle you" Rengoku said as he took Y/N to their room. Once they got into more comfortable clothing, When Y/N was done brushing her hair, Rengoku came back with Hot Cocoa he made for them, They sipped on the delicious hot cocoa, and then laid in bed as they cuddled.

"I love you so much My precious flame" Rengoku said as Y/N touched his chest and Rengoku pulled the blanket to cover them up. "I love you too Kyo" Y/N said as Rengoku kissed her lips passionately. This was a true Christmas Miracle for them as they cuddled in the beautiful night sky.

Also I'm really really sorry if his skin tone looks a bit off, I struggled a lot because 1: I have to mix my watercolors myself and I think it came off too light (it's a tricky balance between red, brown and yellow and since I'm self taught it's more of a potion of color at the end ��) and I tried my best to darken it but I promise I didn't try to whitewash him 😭 and 2: several of my pencils broke and I tried my best without ruining everything but I honestly need some new stuff for Christmas lmao

"I just don't see why I have to go and stay with my cousin," I grumble forlornly, flopping down on the sofa dramatically for effect. "Why can't I just stay here at home? I'll be fine."

My mum and dad look at each other, exchanging looks that speak a thousand words. I know damn well they don't trust me. Last month they were away in Paris for a romantic weekend break and I had a small party. Well... it was supposed to be a small party. I only invited a handful of friends. I wasn't to know that they were going to invite their friends. And those friends would also invite their friends too. All in all it could have been worse. Replacing the whole of the downstairs carpets, having the plumbing system flushed out for the whole house (what the hell were people putting down the toilets anyway?) and having new windows fitted in one of the upstairs bathrooms wasn't too bad I didn't think. The party had been amazing and my friends were all talking about it for weeks. AND I'd shagged that gorgeous guy I'd had my eyes on for months so in my head it was all totally worth it.

It wasn't that I was a bad person, it's just that I found it hard to take responsibility for things. Why worry about the serious crap when there's fun to be had, right?

And right now, the thought of being sent to stay with my cousin Larry in a shitty seaside town in North Wales for the whole summer didn't sound much like fun.

"Arabella, we've spoken about this. This business trip is very important to me and your mum whilst we're setting up the New York office." My dad's speaking in his stern, authoritarian voice that makes me roll your eyes. "We just can't trust you here in the house on your own."

"I could come to New York?" I suggest, jumping off the sofa, looking pleadingly between my mum and dad. Thoughts of a summer in New York, shopping and partying fill my head.

"No way," my mum says like she's already given it thought and she's not budging. "We need to concentrate on the business, not be worrying about what you're getting up to. Your aunt and uncle will keep an eye on you... Besides, you'll have a great time with Larry. You two used to have so much fun when we used to stay with them in Llandudno on holiday."

I pull a face, my memories going to trailing around after Larry and his friends on my childhood summer holidays and all the horrid pranks they used to play on me.

"Larry was the most annoying kid on the planet. And as for his friends... there was this one lad... I don't remember his name but he was his best mate... he was a fucking nightmare..."

"Don't swear in front of your mother!" My dad warns me, but just I shrug. "Now, you've not seen Larry for years. He's not some little kid anymore. Sure you'll have more in common nowadays."

My mum cuts in. "Well actually he's working with some band at the moment, they're getting pretty popular so I hear. That should suit you. I know you like those band types..."

She trails off, a look of distaste on her face. This makes me smirk. Hmm... well I do have a type...

"Okay... I don't suppose I have any choice in the matter do I? He'd just better have some fit mates..."

"Is that all you think of Bella?" My mum says with a sigh.

What sort of question is that? Of course it is.

A week later I'm standing on Larry's family's doorstep with two bulging suitcases, willing there to have been some sort of mix up and I'll be sent home, but no. My aunt and uncle greet me warmly with hugs and kisses, exclaiming how much I've grown.

Well yeah... of course I have... I'm 19 now, not 9!

"It's so good to see you Arabella!" My aunt says. "It's such a shame you stopped coming to stay with us for the holidays!"

"Yeah a real shame!" I reply, trying to keep the sarcasm out of my voice. When my parents' business finally took off holidays in Wales were replaced with vacations in the South of France and the Italian Riviera. "I really miss... errr the beach and the... errr..."

What am I talking about? I don't miss any of it! Thankfully at that moment, Larry appears, distracting everyone from my awkwardness.

"Bloody hell Bells! Look at you!" He exclaims, doing a double-take.

Everyone's so surprised that the girl they see before them is the same skinny, pasty-faced little girl of my past. It's true the years have been kind. My shapeless body grew curves in all the right places, my unruly hair that I used to scrape into pigtails now cascades down my back in soft waves and all in all I'm pretty confident in how I look.

Well, the boys certainly don't seem to have any complaints.

Larry's just as I remember him but a bigger version... not much though... we're practically the same height.

"Come on, I'll show you your room," he says and I'm glad to get away from my aunt and uncle fussing over me.

"So... what passes for fun in this shithole?" I say as soon as we're out of ear-shot.

"Hmm your attitude's not changed much then!" Larry quips as he opens the door to a spacious room with a door that opens out on to a small balcony.

"Come on Larry," I say, sitting down on the bed and bouncing on it lightly to test the firmness. "I'm sure your idea of a fun summer isn't hanging around with your little cousin. I'm sure there's other stuff we'd both much rather be doing."

"Oh I don't know. Was actually quite looking forward to seeing you."

"Really?"

Is he taking the piss? He looks sincere.

"Yeah, reminiscing about all the stuff we used to get up to. Remember when I put that frog in your bed?"

He immediately cracks up laughing and I shudder at the memory. For fucks sake he's not grown up then. And he's on a roll.

"What about the slime in the shampoo?" He's got tears rolling down his cheeks now whilst I look at him, unimpressed.

"And what about the spiders? You used to hate those big fat ones. Remember when Van put one in your..."

"VAN! That was his name!" It's all coming back to me now. I screw my face up. "That little shit! You two used to be inseparable."

It takes Larry a while to compose himself after his laughing fit. "Still are!"

I've started to open up my suitcase. "Still are what?" I say distractedly.

"He's still me best mate! He's in a band now and I look after his guitars. You'll see him tonight. I'm taking you down the pub to meet all the guys."

I'm not necessarily on a tumblr break, it's sorta just happened as I'm more on a break from most things in my life if I'm being completely honest. Currently dealing with some high-level things at my job, so things are a bit insane right now. I'm working most weekends, and the rare off day I get, I just try to rest as much as I can. I'd take a screenshot of my Outlook calendar if it wasn't confidential because I literally have days where I'm just jumping from one meeting to another, with barely any time to eat my lunch (unless the lunch itself becomes a business lunch lmaooo). And the no-meeting days are for doing the "actual" work and catching up on the emails I couldn't read because of the meetings. It's gotten to a point where I feel like January was 8 weeks long 😩

If I get some me time, I usually just scroll through reels on Instagram. Everything else just feels like a lot of effort. It doesn't help that I've been pretty sick in December and January, so it feels like every other week I'm dealing with a cold, some sort of bug, or PMS/period.

I should be getting a bit of a break soon(ish). I can't say more since it doesn't depend on me alone (I was given 3 different dates so far lmao). But I know you're all eager for more FTC. I miss them too 🫠

So yeah... it's just impossible to do any writing at the moment. I'm really sorry for keeping y'all waiting. Trust me, I feel plenty of guilt and anxiety over it 🙃 No one feels worse about it than I do at this point.

The fact that he was able to confront that woman without having flashbacks. Tells us what mental state he is at. He had confidence not only in Pai backing him up but in their relationship.
