Like....maybe people just...don't enjoy that? And don't see shipping as an expression or a practice of morality and instead it is a fun activity to do in their free time? If YOU wanna spend your free time talking about how certain ships and characters are evil and bad and nasty, then far be it from me to stop you but if people don't wanna play in the same way as you, that doesn't make them bad or weird. Just different.

the way they use criston's cape to showcase the nuances in his relationships with rhaenyra versus alicent is so fascinating to me. rhaenyra takes his cloak off without asking. alicent puts his cloak on, but only after criston asks her to. rhaenyra does not understand the weight of what she takes from criston; while criston trusts alicent to return what rhaenyra took. getting at the ways in which both alicent and cirston have been in unbalanced dynamics with viserys and rhaenyra respectively and how criston respects alicent because he knows she can truly understand what it's like for him in this regard.
