I'm actually not over the person last week who got in the notes of my "stopping the drug trade completely all at once would actually be very bad for addicts, so getting pissy at Jason is silly" post and said with their whole chest some variation of "Ah HA so he took drugs away from CHILDREN just admit you have a weird version of Jason in your head" like. I mean, I guess if you really want to, you could be mad that he didn't give children who were already addicted the proper support. And we can get into the difference between addiction in children vs. Adults and I can give you my real actual anecdotes about patterns I've noticed with these situations. But I am like 89% sure that you do not care about the reality of addiction or actual addicts. You just want to hate a fictional character. And like. Go ahead and do that, but it's really embarrassing for you to advertise your lack of knowledge so loudly.

what if myrna is/was a sex worker? and robby did sex work to get himself through med school? what if they knew each other and maybe kept an eye on each other?

while it's a part of his past robby isn't particularly proud of, myrna isn't ashamed of it; maybe never retired. she’s very confident in her promiscuity and while robby doesn't like being called fruitcake it doesn't pull a huge reaction out of him like it would for most straight men

even when she called him cocksucker his reaction was just "fruitcake has a certain whimsical quality"; he never tries to deny it, he just doesn’t like it

it puts robby being willing to do a technically illegal abortion on a minor in a new light. maybe he looks after the other workers when he can; anonymously getting them in for std treatments and abortions and vasectomies, looking out for them when he knows they'd be discriminated against or even arrested if they came in at the wrong time

that he would be discriminated and arrested for just trying to keep himself above water

and it wasn’t not all bad, sometimes it wasn't even all work; your brain doesn't know it's a stranger you're cuddled up to after being awake for 30 hours studying for an important final, surviving on coffee and whatever power bars you can grab if you thought that far ahead. it just knows there's a warm, soft body in your arms that wants to be there and wants you to be there and sometimes robby needed those arms around him even more than he'd ever care to admit

and it wasn't all that strange for those arms to be myrna's

myrna was the one who taught him what to wear and how to wear it, how to suppress his gag reflex and get cum out of his clothes, which streets to avoid and which were fair game

and it's myrna he fast tracks in the er when she comes in with a busted face and a long story about a short fall

…was just hit with the realization that Brom never gets to see Eragon turn sixteen. He gets so close but Eragon’s birthday is a few weeks after Brom’s death. AUGH.

And Eragon doesn’t tell Murtagh about it, Saphira surely knows her Rider’s feelings about it but there’s no mention of her wishing him happy birthday or anything—hell, the kid nearly had the family he didn’t know about there for his cultural coming-of-age, but one of them died and the other one doesn’t know they’re related. He doesn’t even KNOW about the missed opportunity until well after the fact, he’s just stuck on the road with a stranger stressed to the high heavens. It’s no wonder he’s so prone to depression when he gets his back injury, he was basically pre-gaming depression without time to wallow in it!

And then the rest of the series moves so goddamn fast, he can’t be much older than eighteen by the very end if he IS even eighteen… I know I’ve talked about this before but oh my god. He’s so goddamn young. Can someone please get this tall child a college scholarship—and do NOT let him apply to be an RA he needs some time without responsibilities—has someone made sure he knows how to ask for help and not burn himself out with Tasks—

I feel like my main sticking point with a lot of Post-CH2-12 Hu!Culprit theories / Hu lied about her alibi theories is that in all honesty, I simply cannot imagine Nico just... letting that slide. Especially if everyone's lives were on the line. If any Hu!Culprit people can sorta explain that thought process to me I'd appreciate it a lot
