Life & Patreon Update (November ‘22)

Hey there everyone, hope everyone is doing well. I’m happy to announce that my mourning hiatus is over and the blog will become active once more starting this Friday with a new request story. I look forward to posting that story along with my submission for @thegreatstoryteller’s TF Exchange the week of Christmas!

I ADORE Max Brinly just because he’s so sweet and kinda goofy, but in a cute “I wanna be your knight in shining armor but I’m more of a puppy” kind of way.

I absolutely LOATHE Abigail Blyg—she reminds me too much of myself sometimes, but her naivety and her just general demeanor the majority of the game makes me want to punt her across a room. I’m not exactly sure why I feel that way so bad, because I can tolerate and sometimes like her when she’s around Emma, but without Emma she annoys tf outta me.

Favourite chapter and least favourite chapter. Why?:

I gotta say my favorite chapter is prolly Chapter 5: White Noise—I just love the growing climax with the tension of Nick’s impending transformation and the cute scenes between Dylan and Ryan. I will never NOT drool over those two, I swear.

My least favorite chapter, however, has to be chapter 10: Bricks & Mortar/The Final Girl—I love max so very much and the fact the he got barely a five minute segment to be played out of the whole game is both incredibly frustrating and completely unfair. I dislike this chapter simply because I feel Max should’ve been given more gameplay time and had a better storyline in his end, since it was almost like he was completely disconnected from the actual story we get to play through.

How would YOU survive “The Quarry”?:

That’s a tough question. I personally believe I’d have the same level of resilience as Dylan does with his infection and be able to fight it off most of the night. Due to this, I’d gladly allow myself to become infected towards the beginning and I’d use it to my advantage to protect the rest. If it came down to a point where I would put them in danger or I was likely to turn, I’d head for the food cabins from the first segment of the game(where Emma and Jacob raided the cabin for alcohol, watermelons and a shotgun—yes, I remembered the cages in it) and have myself locked in a cage, informing those I was with beforehand of where I was going and why so they could free me in the morning.

My favorite writer prolly has to be @drylan because their headcanons and ficlets are absolutely TO DIE FOR. Y'know how many anon asks I've answered since starting this blog? with all the themed nights I had? When you go to my blog and go to the #asks tag, there's over 200 pages soooo I honestly don't know if I can give you *the* definitive iconic anon ask.

Also, what do you mean when you say iconic? Are we talkin' the most memorable? and is it in a positive or negative light? because not gonna lie, anon, the anons that I remember the most are negative. Isn't that how it always goes? You could get 10 asks, 9 positive experiences and 1 negative and it's that one negative that's gonna stick with ya. Awesome, right?

I do think I have an experience with a certain set of anons from the same person that I suppose you could say is "iconic" or memorable in a shitty way? In fact, they're a set of anons that I never even publicly answered.

I believe I shared some of the story once before when I was promoting The Writer's Guild? But not the whole story, just the part that explained why people had to directly message me if they wanted to join.

I dunno, maybe it'll be good to fully share this, get it off my chest and all that. It's probably the most bizarre thing to happen to me in this fandom, and not a good bizarre.

Y'know how I used to do T5F on this blog? They were a lot of fun, I loved making them! But, the very first one I ever did about the top 5 dumbest things about TFS not only got me yelled at by an anon, but they kinda sorta spied on me in an old discord chat. It's a wild story, most of the chat was present for it and it was an overall uncomfortable and unbelievable night.

I wish I had taken screenshots but it didn't occur to me at the time, and I'm not apart of that chat anymore for this reason, but you can even ask @pi-creates or anyone else who was present.

So, the reason this anon was upset with me and this T5F I posted was a joke I made about Violet.... because of course this all happened because of Violet sksksk. I don't exactly have a happy history when it comes to interacting with hardcore Violet stans, they don't really care for my takes on her character or her relationships.

The 4th entry on that post was about Abel's shotgun and how it doesn't make sense that Louis was the only one hit by it. I said the following:

"Soooo…. I guess the buckshot swerves around and above Violet to ONLY hit Louis? Like, I know she ducks a bit but I still feel like something should’ve nicked her as well?? At least?? Like, are lesbians immune to shotguns and that’s why nothing hit Violet?? Am I only learning this now??"

I made this joke as a way to show how absurd the whole thing with Abel's gun was, I was being hyperbolic, didn't think twice about it, right? I post the T5F, it's well received, I'm already planning for the next week's T5F.... but then I got the first anon. It was mostly in all caps yelling at me for being lesbophic, hating Violet, telling me to shut the fuck up and get out, etc.

Here's the deal, if this person was genuinely upset with my bad throwaway joke about Violet, then that's fair. If they had sent me an ask that was like "Hey, that joke you made about Violet made me uncomfortable, you shouldn't make jokes about lesbians like that, especially if you're not a lesbian." then I would've responded with an apology and a promise to do better. Because yeah, I am truly sorry if that did rub some the wrong way, and I've tried to watch myself, make sure I'm not making jokes like that after this whole thing happened, getting second opinions, doing what I can to not make anyone else feel uncomfortable.

That person didn't do that, they were aggressive and I've learned that aggressive anons are not worth responding to, so I didn't. But back in that old discord server, I used to share those anons with the group and we would talk about them. This person sent me another ask that was super passive aggressive, I remember it going something like, "hey bestie when are you going to respond to my ask calling you out for being lesbophic?" which I shared with the group to get their take on the joke and this anon.

As we discussed this, more anons kept coming in from the same person, all about the same thing, written the same way, all aggressive.

It stopped being all fun and games when the asks started responding to the things I was saying in the chat. We figured out that either this person was in our chat, or someone in chat was sending them everything I was saying.

What's funny is we all had a clear guess on who it was- someone joined the server under the most generic name of like "Anna Smith," they had clouis fanart as their picture, and they were never online... until that night. That night was the first time they have ever shown up as online, they were online the entire time we were talking about this, and when Pi messaged them, they responded but then went offline and the asks stopped coming in.

Like... cut and dry, right? They got caught. It was clearly this random person who was never online, who never interacted with us, who randomly joined and was in the server for I dunno... weeks?

Maybe it was them. I don't actually know and I never will, and it made me so paranoid to be in the group that I eventually left.

But the part that gets me the most? This anon made me feel like I had to explain myself to the chat about my sexuality, something I never shared here on tumblr or with the group for personal reasons.

The ask that kickstarted the realization that this anon was spying on our chat simply asked "are you wlw?"

which again, I didn't publicly answer, but brought to chat because I was pretty sure this person was expecting/hoping for me to say I'm straight so they could have their "GOTCHA" moment, y'know? or they got ahead of themselves and had an "oh shit, what if she's not straight?" moment after calling me lesbophobic, a bitch, whatever other insults they called me that I can't remember.

After I shared that, I felt like I had to justify my sexuality? in a way? I don't know how to describe it, it felt a little bit like I was in a corner with ample room to get out but I had to decide which direction to go but once I went, there was no going back. I was worried that my friends would end up thinking that I was just some straight person making jokes about lesbians, that I didn't respect queer women because I wasn't giving the anon what they wanted... So I told the truth that yeah, I am wlw, I'm bisexual.

Then I got an ask that was something like "and being bi isn't the same as being lesbian, you can't talk about lesbians" so on, they said something about how no one jokes about Clementine's bisexuality [which isn't true, people joke about Clementine being bi all the time and if I had made the same exact joke about Clem instead of Violet, then I bet that anon wouldn't have said anything to me] so don't make them about Violet, same stuff they've said before... which set off alarm bells because it was almost like they saw exactly what I typed in chat.

It's just not something I put on display, y'know? My bisexuality is mine, it's personal, and that was definitely not the way I wanted to tell my friends in chat but it's how it went, it's how people found out, and now here we are.

I'm pretty sure all of us were weirded out, uncomfortable, it was.... an experience, lemme tell you.

fave piece of clothing: I have this red dress/shirt I bought from Rebdolls about a half a year back. I love how it looks on my body and even though I never imagined I could pull off red, damn it does give me a boost of confidence every time I pull it on.

comfort food: Salmon cooked over an open fire, potatoes and herb butter with lemon. Simple, perfect and never fails to make me feel million times better.

George made his way back up to his dorm in a surprising cool calm manner. It was not until late the next morning did what he did sunk in.

What George had thought was a very nice, vivid dream- one he wish he would have the courage to act upon in real life, had actually happened, he panicked.  ‘OH MY GOD! OH MY-YOU KISSED HER! YOU IDIOT!’

Fred, who had just arrived in their shared dorm, toast in hand, laughed at his very dishevelled twin queries. ‘Kissed who?’

‘Y/N. I kissed Y/N’

‘ohhh…’ George’s forwardness made Fred drop his toast. ‘FINALLY!’ He exclaimed, scooting George over.

‘wait What?’

Fred places his palms under his chin. ‘Now tell me how this all went down. Y/n made the first move, didn’t she? Please tell me she did or else I owe Ginny 5 galleons.’

While George had a rather peaceful slumber, you on the other hand, did not.

Twisting and turning, mind still stuck on the same sentence. Ranging between the perplexity of ‘George Weasley kissed me?’ to the absolute euphoria of ‘GEROGE WEASLEY KISSED ME!’ .

You touch you lips, gently as if by the feeling of his lips on yours would be washed away if not treated with care.

“I’m not asking you to write all of it. It’s just I’m busy studying for these stupid OWLS exams.” Ron reasons.

“Please…” You roll your eyes on his bullshit. “As if you actually study. Hermione don’t fall for that-”

“I’ll do the introductions that’s all.” Cuts in Hermione.

You can’t help but roll your eyes again. It was the same every time. Ron doesn’t do his homework and asks Hermione to help him last minute. Hermione gets annoyed but ends up doing it anyway. Ahh young love. It’s so obvious that your 2 best friends like each other but even the brightest witch of her age is someone not smart enough to see it.

“Hermione, you are honestly the most wonderful person I’ve ever met.” Ron boasts, raising 3 fingers to promise. “I’ll never be rude to you ever again”

Hermione shakes her head, not believing him for a moment “You’re only go back to normal”

This now reaches your daily limit of third wheeling. You quickly scan the common room for possible refuge, there sat on the sofa near the fireplace was the one and only ditcher, Harry Potter.

At times like this when Ron and Hermione are playfully teasing each other, you and Harry would confide in one another, both not wanting to be the third wheel. During dinner however the boy was not present, though he does have a get out of jail free card- being that he had to spend detention with that ugly toad of a professor.

“Harry!” You called after him, pushing your way towards the fireplace. “How was detention?”

Harry shifted in his seat, shrugging.

You squeeze into the spot he freed up while Hermione and Ron sat on his other side. “Here I got you your favorite.” Handing him a paper bag that contained a slice of treacle tart that you nicked off during dinner. “Knew you haven’t eaten anything…”

Taking the bag with his right hand. “Thanks, y/n” Harry places it in his lap, and hastily devoured the tart.

“Ahh!”

“What’s wrong?” You question.

“Nothing. Just hot.” Harry lied.

Just hot? You wonder, just hot? Dinner ended a half hour ago, yet it was still hot? You glanced over to Hermione, which too seemed to sense that something was off with Harry. Lying isn’t one of Harry’s strengths.

“What’s wrong with your hand” quipped Hermione.

“Nothing” Said Harry nonchalantly, holding out his right hand to prove his point.

Hermione ignored the outstretched hand, grabbing his left instead. “The other hand….”

The 3 of you were not prepared for what came into view.

Harry’s left hand was swollen and red, it was like it was burned. In the middle there were white scars forming, it ran across his hand. It seemed to look like words, but you can’t yet decipher them due to the redness and swelling around it.

“You’ve got to tell Dumbledore” Worry evident in your voice.

“No, Dumbledore has got a lot on his mind right now,” Pulling his hand away from Hermione’s grasp. “anyway I don’t wanna give Umbridge the satisfaction.”

Ron would always have his friend’s back no matter what, but even he knew that this was another level. This isn’t the usual ‘be the hero, save the day’ type of ordeal.

“Bloody hell Harry, the woman is torturing you. If the parents knew about this-”

Fred is leaping up the stairs, 4 steps at a time, daring to take as many as his long legs would allow.

George no doubt closely behind. Fred doesn’t dare look back, confidently on the panting heard on his left.

Both boys are speeding as if their lives depended on it- it’s a bit exaggerated but if caught, they would be facing a whole month’s detention in the Forbidden Forest at the very least or worst suspended- Molly would be furious.

No, the boys were determined to not get caught.

Yes, they love causing chaos and pranks- sticking mostly with temporary to not so serious consequences.

The one rule they hold themselves to is ‘No suspension and explosion.’

There were currently 5 Weasleys attending Hogwarts so imagine the total cost for school tuition.

They would just have to make it to another more floor then they would make it to one of Hogwarts secret passageways that would lead them to the safety of the Gryffindor Tower.

As they reach the flat landing, the unmistakable figure of Fred’s favourite person appears.

Focused on trying to neatly tuck away your notes into your book bag after being haphazardly kicked out of the library by Madam Pince near closing, having your feet lifted off the ground gave your heart a drop.

You feel a warm presence wrapped around you from behind, “MWAH” A kiss lands on your right cheek. “Hey there love!”

“FRED!” You scream, shoulders relaxing now knowing that it was not the Azkaban escapee that got you but instead your lovable yet unpredictable boyfriend.

“Sorry love, can’t talk!” He said, gently placing you back down before running again.

“And by the way y/n.” George called out, jogging backwards. “You DID NOT SEE US!”

Just as they rounded the corner, Snape appears in hot pursuit.

In his blind red anger, almost runs into you.

Regaining his composure he asks, “Ms. L/n did you perhaps see 2 bumbling idiots pass by?'

You can feel your face warm from blushing earlier but you can feel it get redder

Clearing your throat, you replied. “'No sir.”

“Are you sure ms l/n?” He presses on, staring you down. “And are not lying on behalf of your boyfriend and his immature twin?'

“Mm hmm”

It was the only reply you could muster without bursting into laughter.

Snape no doubt called your bluff... you were a well behaved student but you are still one of the pranksters girlfriend.

Thanks so much for the tag @hms-chill​! It was hard to make sure I was picking from different things haha. I’m excited to see what other people choose. 

1. Simon Snow, Carry On. Okay, so I relate to him on too many levels.. and have had long in-depth conversations with my friends about it. Mainly I just love my idiotic dragon boy. I’ll leave it at that lol. 

2. Paige Matthews, Charmed. Does anyone here watch charmed? No? This is the OG series, not the new one they pushed out. I grew up on this, and when I was young I latched onto Paige. The new kid who was just trying to help people. I actually ended up with a slugbug (I affectionately called it the ‘strugbug’) as my first car (she drives one) and dyed my hair red for most of my youth (which could also be a result of a love for a character lower on my list.) Idk why I liked her so much. Maybe I liked the idea of discovering there was magic in my life? Maybe I wanted to make a difference like she did through social work? Maybe I just wanted the ability to orb to different places around the world. Idk. 

3. Alex Claremont Diaz, Red White and Royal Blue. AGCD... my boi. I love his chaotic nature, and to have someone else who was allergic to tide detergent was nice for me haha. His realization of being not straight is something I believe most of us who aren’t straight can relate to. It made me emotional, and to be on his journey with him hit so many parts of my soul. Like I made out with so many girls when I was a teen and... never once... thought I wasn’t straight?? Like tf?

4. Darcy, Heartstopper. I just mainly love her because she is hilarious. I love her and Tara so much and I think they’re adorable. I feel like in my future relationship I’ll be the Darcy. (My bio on dating apps literally says ‘just a fun dad looking for a strict mom’ so... yeah. Strong Dara energy.)

5. Jake Peralta, B99. I am, like Jake, also a mess. He just wants to do well by others, handles emotions poorly, and the shenanigans and such are exactly like what I’d do. 

Also, his mother’s comment of “houses don’t burn down like they used to” is verbatim something my mom has said. 

6. Luna Lovegood, Harry Potter Series. I almost decided not to choose any character from HP because there are so many that I love. Like Remus? Sirius? the list goes on of course. But I loved Luna’s energy, and how she kind of fit the Ravenclaw vibe without being the ‘stereotype’. She loved learning.. it just maybe wasn’t the things that school was trying to get her to learn. 

7. Ariel, The Little Mermaid. Okay, so I’m the first to admit that this movie has a lot of issues. I KNOW THAT OKAY. But I LOVED The Little Mermaid when I was little (and now). Like if these mermaid tail blankets were around when I was a kid... I would have had 7. 

8. Percy Newton, The Gentleman’s Guide to Vices and Virtues. I loved this character in the book. He was calm (yet still so stupid), and he didn’t want to be fixed! He was totally fine and was managing! I loved his representation and everything about him. 

9. Wei Wuxian, The Untamed.  Okay I know I’ve just started this show, and I know that he goes down a dark path or whatever (I think?Idk stay tuned). But I just cannot help myself but enjoy a chaotic bisexual when I see one. 

10. Nick Miller, New Girl. I love Nick. Grumpy curmudgeon and unable to properly get himself together. A vibe I truly understand.

Nancy Drew 1x15

I HAVE FINISHED THE NEW NANCY DREW EPISODE AND NOW NEED TO TALK ABOUT IT.

LET’S GO.

Okay I will start with my three disappointments. First, I was hoping when they were going down the “you don’t have first-hand exp with the Aglaeca spirit” path they would bring in Victoria. They did not. WRITERS. WHERE IS MY DYSFUNCTIONAL CLAIRVOYANT. Two, they went to the historical society. They MENTIONED HANNAH GRUEN. And then she just wasn’t there, and I was Let Down. Three, Owen and Nancy had sex.

No further comment.

Alright to break this down, I thought this episode was fantastic. Nancy coughing up teeth was so metal (the seaweed was a little gross) and they brought back fan favorite Ace’s dad. Side note, I really love what this show does for sign language, just how it is so casually interwoven. And also Ace and his dad’s shock to see Nick knew it, pointing out how uncommon it is which is kind of sad when you consider it’s one of deaf people’s only means of communication. Maybe now that Karen is you know ARRESTED Ace’s dad whose name I do not know will be our point person on the police since the writers have apparently become allergic to Chief McGinnis.

Speaking of Ace, him and Nick being all dude detective duo this episode was fantastic and I loved it. Pair them up more often. And even though I have no idea if they’ll ever be written romantically or not, Nancy has exponentially more chemistry with Ace than with Owen and I would much rather see them explored. I also want to know if anything has even really changed since the last time Owen and Nancy kissed. He asked her out and she said no, and we didn't see what happened the morning after this time around but she clearly spent the night. Bess is bound to bring it up since she spent the night at Nancy’s house and Nancy wasn’t there, and also Owen is her cousin.

I love the bond between Nancy and her dad, it has grown so much and is so beautiful. Her absolute faith and conviction in his innocence and belief that she will get him out of this, especially when he seems to have given up. *chef’s kiss*

I will say going back to Ace and Nick’s detective work, why didn’t they just go ask Claire in prison? “Hey you know how you murdered a bunch of people? We’ll knock like five years off your I presume lifelong sentence if you tell us if you sold this guy poison.” Like admittedly she didn’t, but they didn’t know that at the time. And CAN WE TALK ABOUT KAREN? As soon as it was revealed it was her, I knew she must have known about Ryan and Lucy’s fight before Nancy gave her the emails. Lucy started drawing away after the Velvet Masque but she and Ryan were already dating when he took her, which is probably something Lucy would have told her best friend. And honestly I feel the poison was a little justified? Like at this point Ryan obviously didn’t kill Lucy because the writers know that’s what we’re expecting, but he was involved somehow and if my best friend had been murdered twenty years ago, the case was still unsolved, and her billionaire ex boyfriend was involved and untouchable? I may have also slipped the friend’s brother an untraceable poison. On that note, I love how the writers brought back the Claire episode. At the time we were like, oh it’s just a fun little killer of the week one-off episode, and now a few weeks later here they are like “PSYCHE. What, you thought everything we did wouldn’t have a meaning? Fools.” And honestly, more power to them. I support this kind of intricate planning it speaks to my obsessive perfectionism.

Everything except the Mr. Drew x Karen romance apparently 😂. Like they really did just include that in the pilot to create more drama between Nancy and her dad didn’t they?

Since it turns out Bess is a founder’s descendant, maybe she will be more interested in Marvin family history, get involved in the historical society and we will see Hannah Gruen more often. Make it happen writers. On the topic of Bess, please tell me someone gets that girl a therapist for her kleptomania before she breaks into a museum. Or a bank. Or a mausoleum. Or something high profile.

I did really want to see the Aglaeca, I was looking forward to seeing how costume and makeup pulled it off, but the blackness spreading through the water was really cool too. And considering this episode ended with Nancy like coughing up seaweed for not paying the toll, maybe we will see the spirit next episode as the gang tries to appease it? Let’s talk about the toll for a minute. Did the Aglaeca want to kill Owen or just like want a blood donation? Why? And if it demands a victim for every favor it grants, I can see why the ritual was not handed down through the generations.

NANCY AND NICK. Oh the moments were sparse but they were quality. At the beginning, watching the fight footage when Nick tensed up and Nancy looked away, and she almost rested her head on his shoulder. His continued concern for her. Nancy’s immediately going to the police station when he texted, compare and contrast with episode 7 when Nick kept calling and she kept ignoring. Nick’s reaction when Nancy was about to drink the “poison”.

CAN WE TALK ABOUT ACE’S LEVEL OF TRUST IN NANCY TO STRAIGHT UP DRINK POSSIBLE POISON. COME ON NOW.

George had a very small role this episode which is not exceedingly unusual, but she was funny to watch, falling for Nick, and a great friend to Nancy. All good things. I just hope she doesn’t fall too hard for Nick, since he and Nancy will most likely eventually find their way back to each other. Maybe she can get together with Ace since I ship him with literally everyone apparently. I also like how they brought back that blood bucket she kicked I was beginning to wonder if they’d forgotten about it.

One last thing guys where tf is Josh? Like he walked into a cabinet thing and vanished, maybe Karen is storing him somewhere. Also HOW DID HE SURVIVE GETTING FUCKING ELECTROCUTED. HOW.

Could we really be solving Lucy’s murder next week in The Haunting of Nancy Drew? We will now discuss possible suspects and where the show could go after this.

The episode summary reads “blah blah using forensics and spn stuff Nancy unravels what happened the night Lucy died.” I am going to discount the Hudsons as suspects since we already know they’re involved via the seance.

Owen Marvin. We know the Marvins have family secrets and shady pasts, he is about the same age as Lucy/Ryan and if there was some sort of love triangle

Holy fuck.

Hear me out.

Okay what if Owen was in love with Lucy, and he somehow broke them up (there was a fight and Lucy broke up with Ryan, but in the emails Ryan calls Lucy the whore, so I’m thinking there was definitely some sort of misunderstanding) and he went to profess his love and she turned him down and he killed her? AND NOW, assuming Nancy is Lucy (and Ryan’s) daughter that’s why Owen is so determinedly romancing her? I have absolutely no proof for this theory and it probably didn’t happen since he is helping them out with the investigation but I like it anyway.

There is Lucy’s mother, who I am now convinced was involved because of her trance thing last episode. You can read my last review for more detail (it’ll be under my Nancy Drew tag) but basically upon seeing crime scene photos of Lucy she started singing the Lucy Sable song and was very focused on how Lucy is in the water. And sure parents go crazy over their children dying, but this feels like a little bit more than that? In the transcripts Lucy said if anything happened to her it would be her mother’s doing, and we know they had some kind of falling out before she died over her dating Ryan.

Katherine Drew 😈. Again no evidence but I like to speculate. She was Lucy’s guidance counselor, it gives Mr. Drew a reason to not try very hard to defend himself, to spare Nancy the pain of her mom being a killer. It would make such great drama. That’s it those are the reasons.

Let’s take a moment to examine some untied threads that could be pulled upon in the solving of this murder. Lucy and Josh are only half-siblings, but we don’t know via which parent. So maybe Lucy’s biological mom/dad could have somehow been involved. There are the emails between her and Ryan following the unknown betrayal (you’re a whore like everyone says). I think this one could be tied to what Candice Weaver (sea queen runner up) mentioned, about how there were rumors Lucy slept with the judges to win the title. Maybe Ryan’s parents, especially his mother, were trying to discredit Lucy or frighten her off? Ryan was scheduled to meet with Lucy the night of her death, maybe he saw something he hasn’t come clean about. Back to Josh, right after Lucy died some developers offered Josh and his mom a LOT of money for their house. We know the Marvins deal in real estate, maybe they were trying to get them out of town to cover up for Owen? We also still don’t know for sure how Lucy died, maybe she wasn’t even stabbed at all. And finally, the crown Nancy’s forensic chemist friend examined proves that a woman was up there on those cliffs (KATHERINE DREW) with Lucy because the hair that wasn’t Lucy’s came from a female.

Assuming we do indeed find out who killed Lucy next episode, here are some things the writers could fill the last six episodes with or use to set up season two/things I really want to happen. The episode where Nancy broke into the morgue Ace mentioned Lucy haunts it, looking for her body. Three kids broke in a few years ago, one died, one went missing, one went insane. It was mentioned once and never picked up again. Since Lucy apparently knew where her body was this whole time, maybe a different spirit haunts the morgue and Lucy just gets the blame cause she’s famous. There is George’s blood bucket, which I admit was brought up this episode, but aside from that has not been touched since episode 4. George and Nick’s relationship, Nancy and Owen’s relationship, the Bess/Lisbeth/Amaya love triangle. Whatever sort of closure Mr. Drew needs from Karen or something idk. George could start to become psychic like her mother. There’s the trial of Mr. Hudson for the sinking of the Bonny Scot, along with the haunted dude who survived giving testimony. Maybe he will be killed and Nancy and Co will have to find another piece of evidence really fast like the urn from the Bonny Scot that Ryan is still hanging on to. MAKE BESS AND GEORGE COUSINS WRITERS. MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Even after Nancy solves Lucy’s murder, I want Lucy to stick around. She is my favorite character on the show. She and Nancy can be roommates, she’d be a really great security system. Some guy tries to break into the house only to be greeted by a drowned girl screaming her head off? I’d drop dead. And from next week’s trailer, towards the end when she says “I am trying to solve your murder!” Is it just me or does she sound a little exasperated? Maybe because Nancy is working her ass off here and all Lucy does is scream at her and make her cough up teeth 😂. Yes I want Lucy to find peace, but I also just really really want her to stick around.

Last thing before I wrap up. I know the show is astronomically different from the books but Nancy traveled in the books. She went to different cities, states, countries. As much as I love the creepy superstition loving town of Horseshoe Bay, I am hoping maybe in the later seasons the show’s location branches out a bit? It probably won't because it’s the CW and they use sets and yada yada yada but a girl can dream. See you next week!
