fic writer interview!
shamelessly yoinking from @karliahs bc this looks fun as hell to do :]
Tumblr media
How many works do you have on AO3?
32 fics total, between my main and rough draft pseud!! which feels like a really small amount, honestly-- i think my private WIPs list is MUCH higher 😂😂😂😂 if we're counting my very first (and very abandoned) ao3 acct too, then that number is bumped up to 35!!
What's your total AO3 word count?
163,211, and a good 65k of that was written this year somehow??? according to my statistics ._. lowkey crazy to think about
What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
paid for it with all of my blood (BNHA | 8,452)
at times so self destructive (BNHA | 4,554)
lost in the dark (he's got a heavy heart) (HC/LIFE | 3,618)
or we can just have conversation (MSA | 1,834)
the art of rawgabbitry (BNHA | 1,609)
if youve been following me since my bnha fics in 2018 you deserve a veteran's discount
Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
i used to answer every single comment i got, honestly, unless it came by years after i posted it-- the only reason i dont as much anymore is because it gets REALLY overwhelming for me to respond to everyone after the initial barrage 😅😅 the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak etc etc. but i do read every comment and appreciate them SO SO MUCH, and whenever i find one particularly moving or want to just reassure people im still working on something i'll respond to those :]
What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?
not counting the wips that just never got finished and left off before their main shit could resolve, id say at times so self destructive (BNHA)-- i mean i LITERALLY ended it with izuku potentially dying 😭😭😭😭
What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending?
tbh i dont think i write happy endings so much as i write hopeful, bittersweet, or open-ended ones-- i tend to like catharsis more than fluff when it comes down to it. but out of my fluff fics i think honey it's starting to storm (HC) is one of the genuinely sweetest ive written. my runner-ups on that would probably be when the smoke does finally pass (TMA) and or we could just have conversation (MSA) :]
Do you write crossovers?
not typically, and ive never published any, but i am definitely not immune to them 😂😂😂😂 i think my most niche crossover ive actually written (never to see the light of day) was a Nine Lives of Chloe King and Supernatural fic that was the definition of self-indulgent rot. only a little less niche than that was a Mortal Instruments and Supernatural crossover (theres a running theme here lol) lying in snippets on an ancient google doc in my oldest gmail acct. reread that one recently and its shockingly coherent for being written in like. 2016. id even call it decent (though theres a lot id change up if i were writing it now)
Have you ever received hate on a fic?
idk if it'd be considered hate but once i wrote a fic inspired by someone else's when i was very new to ao3, let them know (i didnt know about the "inspired by" option back then), and they got mad at me in my comments section because in their words, "its better than mine" 😭😭😭😭💥💥💥💥💥💥
Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Tumblr media
YOU COULD SAY THAT
as for what kind, honestly whatever strikes my fancy-- usually character/relationship studies, or just a fun focus on character intimacy. love 2 be asexual<3 love 2 write asexual sex<3
i had a discussion with my qpp recently about how in all honesty the smut i write is pretty tame, its just the character emotions written behind it that makes it feel a bit deranged. smth smth scarian is a chemical explosion. u understand
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
not to my knowledge!!!
Have you ever had a fic translated?
yeppers!! the art of rawgabbitry (BNHA) received a translation to Russian, which i always found a bit funny because rawgabbitry is. one of my least favorite works ive ever written, if only for the type of comments it tended to receive back in the day 😭😭😭😭
Have you ever co-written a fic before?
ive never managed it honestly-- i get a bit precious about my process, which can make it hard to collaborate on that level. but its something ive always wanted to grow enough as a writer to try :]
What's your all-time favorite ship?
not so much of a singular OTP type of guy as i have favorite pairings per fandom im in-- that being said rn its scarian :P
What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will?
pretty much all of my dsmp wips honestly. i may surprise myself someday, but for now i just have zero urge to actually finish any of them
What are your writing strengths?
like my pal karliahs im gonna rip these from the comments ive received 😅😅😅 but id definitely say imagery is my strongest skill!! i have a very strong imagination, and tend to see fic scenes as movie scenes in my head which i then transcribe into written format. id like to say im also really skilled at characterization and realistic dialogue that captures character voices very well!! and frankly i just love emotional realism so much i cant NOT write it, its always leaking into everything i do
What are your writing weaknesses?
i tend to get a little too funky and abstract with my descriptions sometimes-- that can work for some scenes, but grounding everything so that it feels more real and makes actual sense to the reader is something i often have to do on the second, third, and final passes
also to every person who has to crack open a thesaurus to understand what i write, i am so fucking sorry😭💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
no thoughts beyond if its not a language you're proficient in you should probably get that checked over by a native speaker, just in case :P
What was the first fandom you wrote for?
fairy tail..... ff.net was a dark place
What's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to?
crying sobbing wailing as i desperately beg my brain to start writing that post-canon siffrin and odile relationship study. unfortunately i dont think i can have more than one longfic on my docket at a time so it shrimply must wait
What's your favorite fic you've written?
to the surprise of absolutely nobody, i'd have say lost in the dark (he's got a heavy heart) (HC/LIFE) :]
Tumblr media
No obligation, but im tagging: @raichett, @kayawolfhorse, @boonbeenblade, @sillyfairygarden, and @grimfey !!! And anyone else who wants to do this ofc :]]]❤️❤️❤️❤️

How to Create a Coloring Book in CANVA | Earn $2000 Monthly by Creating Coloring Books with CANVA
Tumblr media
**HTML Headings** In today's tutorial: Creating a Heat Coloring Book in 3 Simple Steps and Earning $2,000 to $5,000 per Month Step 1: Creating the Image for the Coloring Book Using Leonardo AI First, we'll start by creating the image for the coloring book. I'll be using Leonardo AI, a free software. To access the dashboard, go to the Leonard website (link provided in the description) and create an account using your Gmail or email account. Once you've created an account, click on the "Launch App" button to access the dashboard. On the left-hand side of the dashboard, you'll find the "Image Generation" option. I have tried different prompts, but the best result came from a specific prompt that I'll include in the description. You'll need to keep the entire prompt the same, except for the main character. Feel free to change it to anything you want. Leave the negative prompt unchanged. After making the necessary changes, go to the "Finetuned Model" section. Among the different finetuned models, I found that Leonardo Diffusion Excel gave me the best results. On the left-hand side, you can choose up to four images. I'm choosing two here. Make sure "Alchemy Dogle" is turned on and select an aspect ratio of 3:4. Finally, click on the "Generate" button. If you're satisfied with any of the generated images, you can use the "Smooth Upscaling" option to enhance the image quality. Note that this option requires 5 to 8 tokens. Once the image is upscaled, you can download it by clicking on the "Download Image" option. Step 2: Creating the Coloring Page Using Leonardo AI Next, we'll move on to creating the black and white sketch for the coloring page. Again, I have tried multiple prompts, but the best result came from a specific prompt that I'll provide in the description. Paste the chosen prompt and make sure the aspect ratio remains the same (3:4). Out of the different results obtained from trying various prompts, select the image that looks most satisfactory to you. You can upscale the image from the Leonardo AI platform and download it according to the instructions provided earlier. Step 3: Designing the Book Cover and Interior Illustrations Using Canva Now, we'll design the book cover and interior illustrations. To begin, we need to register with Amazon KDP, so click on the provided link and create a KDP account using your name, email ID, and password. After agreeing to the terms and conditions, navigate to the "Help" section and select "Format Your Paperback." In the "Cover Template" option, choose "Paperback," "Black and White," and "White Paper." Set the dimensions to 8.5 inches for width and 11 inches for trim height. Enter a minimum of 24 pages, but it can be more if you prefer. Click on "Calculate" and download the template. To create the book cover, we'll use Canva. If you don't have a Canva Pro subscription, use the link provided in the description to get a free 30-day trial. Once you're on Canva's website, go to "Custom Size" and enter the dimensions 17.43 by 11.25 inches for the cover. Upload the template file that you downloaded from Amazon KDP. In the "Elements" section, select a shape and place it on the cover to frame the design. Adjust the shape's position to cover the desired area. To enhance the image, go to the "Edit" section and apply a filter or make further adjustments using the available options. To add text to the cover, go to the "Text" section and choose a suitable font. You can either use the provided Carson Script font or explore free Disney fonts available on fonts.com. If necessary, upload a font by selecting the "Upload Font" option. To add a Disney princess or other relevant illustrations, use the "Edit Photo" and "Magic Grab" features, if available. Adjust the position of the illustrations and use the "Color" section to modify their appearance. You can also add additional elements to enhance the design. Once the cover design is complete, save the file as a PDF by going to the "Share" option, selecting "Download," and choosing the PDF print format. Now, let's move on to creating the interior illustrations. For the interior illustrations, set the custom size to 8.625 by 11.25 inches and create a new design. Import the previously created designs and position them on the pages. Apply filters and adjustments, if desired, to improve the quality of the illustrations. Save the interior illustrations as a PDF by following the same steps as before. Congratulations! The design process for the heating coloring book is now complete. To publish the book on Amazon KDP, please refer to the official Amazon website for a detailed step-by-step guide. Publishing a book on Amazon KDP involves a series of simple five processes that you need to complete. Now, let's explore an additional way to monetize your skills and earn more from creating coloring books. Many companies outsource the creation of coloring books because they lack the time and resources to do it themselves. By creating coloring books for other companies, you can generate income that can be further used to promote your own books on Amazon KDP. Platforms like Fiverr offer opportunities to sell your services as a book cover or interior illustration designer. Many sellers on Fiverr charge different prices based on the complexity of the designs and the number of pages required. By utilizing this trick, you can earn $2,000 to $5,000 per month by designing coloring books for other companies while also promoting your own books on Amazon KDP. If you're interested in learning about different AI models and tools, visit our website ww.wacpmedia.in. 3. From the options at the top, scroll over to Security. Under Signing into Google, select Password. Now, type your current password to verify it’s you and click Next.
4. Now, you’ll be prompted to enter a new password twice. Make sure that your password should be at least eight characters. Now, select Change Password. You’ll be then shown a confirmation screen that your password successfully changed and You’re done!
How to Change Gmail Password on Android
If you’re using Gmail on your android phone using Gmail app, here’s how to change Gmail password on android:
1.Open the Setting of your android phone. You can also open the Settings by swiping down from the top of the home screen and tapping the gear in the upper-right corner.
2. Now, scroll down and tap Google. It may also present with “G” on the Google option.
3. Under Google, click on “Manage your Google Account” at the top, and this will open your Google account settings.
4. Now, click on Security. Under Security tab, scroll down and tap Password. It’s under the ‘Signing into Google” header.
5. Now, you need to enter your current password to verify it’s you who are trying to change the password and click Next. Doing so will take you to the “Password” page.
Note: If you forgot your password, click on “forgot password” to reset your password.
6. Once you verified, you can enter the new password into the provided field. Make sure your password contains at least 8 characters, using a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
7. Type the new password into the “Confirm new password” blank. Make sure to type it exactly as you entered it into the first box.
Once you’re done, hit tap Change Password.  You’re done!
How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication
Increase the level of security on Gmail with two-factor authentication. Two-step verification creates an additional layer of security that you can add to your Gmail account. Once you enter a password, Two-step verification will ask you to enter a special code sent to your phone number via text, voice call, or the Google Authenticator app.  Each code is only usable once and expires within minutes, so it's very secure.
You need to make sure that you do not share this code with anyone and choose the source (phone number, email) which only own and control by you.  This Two-step verification dramatically increases the security of your account.
Here’s how to enable two-factor authentication.
1. Open Gmail on your preferred device and make sure you already logged into your account. Once you’re in, click on the “Profile Picture icon.”
2. Now, Select “Manage Your Google Account” and then select “Security” from the left pane.
3. Select 2-Step Verification and this will open the next screen that explains 2-step verification.
4. Click “Get Started” and enter your password and click Next.
5. Now, you need to enter your phone number, choose whether to receive codes via text messages or phone calls and then select Next.
Note: if you want to use other options, such as a physical security key or a Google prompt on your phone. To do so, “Choose another option,” and then select it from the list.
6. Now, enter the verification code, and then click next. Click “Turn On” to enable the Gmail 2-step verification. Once it’s enabled, you’re done.
How to Enable Google Authenticator App
If you think 2-step verification isn’t enough to secure your Gmail account, here’s how to change the second form of verification.
1.First of all, open Gmail on your preferred device and sign in to your Gmail account. Once you’re in, select your Profile picture or icon.
2. Select “Manage Your Google Account,” select Security.
3. Now, select 2-Step Verification. Sign in to your Google Account if prompted. Now, scroll down to “Add more second steps to verify it’s you.”
4. Once you verified, choose from backup codes, a Google Prompt, the Google Authenticator app, and more.
5. Now, select the option to set it up. If you want you can also add a backup phone to the account, as well as request a physical security key that plugs into your computer’s USB port.

Help an (ex???) S*x Worker
So, given that we got largely banned from this platform despite being very cool and smart, I’m not sure how many ppl know about what’s going on in the digital adult industry...
To be concise, every now and then credit card companies apply regulations to what can be sold via adult sites, often affecting what terms we can use. Usually this is generally a good thing as it limits the sale of problematic content- there’s more to say on this but I won’t bother here.
Anyway, Mastercard recently made some changes that also included how models/artists IDs are verified along with term requirements, and requirements on how the sites verify the content complies- the content now must be manually watched (albeit by AI) to make sure it is compliant.
This is industry wide, and has applied to every clip site, as well as slowed down the time from uploading to publish, but on one of these sites- arguably one of the 2 biggest, if not THE most high-traffic site- seems to be absolutely and catastrophically fumbling this transition.
Currently, their compliance efforts began around the 2nd week of October and since then I and many others on the site have not been able to make a single sale because our stores have been pulled entirely offline.
Why? Well, IWC has to put all content ‘In Review’ and either approve it and publish it again, or send it back to the artist to be corrected. When content is ‘In Review’ it is not published, and stores with under 5 published clips do not show up to buyers.
My stores have been offline now for about 3 weeks, and IWC says this issue will take ‘a few weeks’ to start resolving.
I do not currently make content as I left that in exchange for building other income streams and improving my life/mental health but that has largely only been possible due to the passive income I get from clip sales and a good ~80% or so of that was coming from IWC. Given that this could take up to a month or two more to resolve and it has already been happening, the financial fallout from this will be long and ‘considerably fucked’ to say the least.
Many of us are pretty badly screwed. I’m being optimistic and light with my speech here but please understand: this is pretty serious.
If you’re familiar with my blog you may know about all the work I’ve been doing to create a sustainable income for myself that works with my needs, and this sudden change is a hard blow at an extremely inopportune time after 2 years of this pandemic which has devoured my savings and left me in a tough position.
In the short term I am asking anyone who can comfortably do so to donate so that I can afford to live through this. Additionally, after Jan 1 2022 I probably won’t be able to as easily take donations due to the IRS changes. But here are my links:
p*yp*l.me/ellipsislux v**mo: awingedserpent c*sh**p: $moonseye
In the long term it would be very helpful if you could support my work/businesses:
Tumblr media
Patreon to support me, my organizational work, ASMR, my recipes and writing as well as meditational videos
Tumblr media
Onlyfans for QTBIPOC audiences where I post full meditations, pictures, and talk cultural/spiritual/sensual subjects
Tumblr media
awingedserpent shop for intentional/cultural jewelry (like waist beads, earrings, bracelets and more)
Tumblr media
and you can email me at iamthatwhich(at)gmail(dot)com to book live tarot, guided meditation, spiritual consultation and relaxational hypnosis sessions- see my site for more info.
Thanks for reading and have a peaceful week <3

okay, I know a lot of you are starting college/university this year, so here are some things yall need to know/understand (I’m a first year academic advisor FYI):
no one is going to hold your hand. Many places consider you a legitimate adult at this point. Nothing will be spelled out for you completely.
GOOGLE IS A THING! I know when you don’t know something your instinct is to email someone, but often times if you Google the name of your college + whatever you have a question about, you can find the answer that way
Please remember that your professors/advisor are people too! A lot of us don’t check email on the weekends or after certain business hours. Please don’t ask to meet them on a weekend, or during the noon lunch hour. We need to rest too.
Your professors aren’t going to email you about every little thing, they’re just not. Some might, but most won’t. READ YOUR SYLLABUS! CHECK YOUR COURSE PAGES! As far as buying books? Your college bookstore website should have a search engine for looking up what you need for each class. Start there, then you can go onto Amazon, eBay, chegg, etc to find the best deal. If it’s a gen ed, just rent. If it’s a book for a major course, buy it. And listen, I know we all hate amazon, but but amazon student is amazing, less expensive than a regular amazon account, and you can save way more on books and supplies.
JOIN CLUBS, GO TO EVENTS! You’re not going to make friends sitting alone in your dorm room. I know it seems scary to venture out, but trust me, getting involved in campus activities (even if you’re commuting) is the best way to meet people and not feel alone.
UTILIZE CAMPUS RESOURCES!! Have an IEP or 504 plan? GO TO YOUR CAMPUS ACCESSABILITY SERVICES! They can give you what you need. Get tutoring right away, SEE YOUR ADVISOR, go to the counseling center if you’re not feeling well mentally!! All of this stuff is included in your tuition, use it!
CHECK YOUR FUCKING SCHOOL EMAIL!! I know yall like to text, but please. Don’t email using your personal email (gmail, iCloud, yahoo), USE YOUR SCHOOL EMAIL! Read things through carefully. Departments on campus email you for a reason.
REGISTER FOR CLASSES ON TIME!! At some point you’ll meet with your advisor to discuss classes for the following semester, and they will give you a registration date. WAKE UP EARLY ON THAT DATE AND FUCKING REGISTER! Then you don’t have to worry about getting into the classes you need.
Exercise. Get out of your rooms. Even if it’s just a walk to get some fresh air. Your diet/eating habits are going to change drastically. Please don’t skip meals. Make sure you’re eating. I was a very unhealthy student and would barely eat. PLEASE EAT!
GO TO CLASS AND YOU WILL PASS! Your parents/guardians won’t be there to nag you. It’s on you to get into a routine and schedule. I know it’s tempting to skip, but unless you’re sick, don’t skip class. You or your parents are paying for that class. And if you fail, you have to retake it, which means paying for it again, and paying for an extra class to make up for the credits you’re missing.
CHECK YOUR BILLS! If you’re paying for school on your own, please check your bills. Financial offices will put holds on your accounts if you can’t pay. STAY AWAY FROM PRIVATE LOANS! You’ll be paying off the interest for the rest of your life, it’s not worth it. Most schools will help you set up a payment plan. I recommend calling those offices directly as opposed to emailing, you’ll get more direct help.
Save your money for doing laundry.
Don’t pack a ton of shit. You can go home and swap out clothes at some point.
Get a lanyard for your student ID, idc if you think it makes you look stupid. If you lose your ID it can cost a lot of $$$ to replace it.
Never leave your room without your key. Taking a shower? Great! Your roommate left and locked the door behind them. Good thing you had your key in your shower caddy!
SHOWER SHOES! Get a cheap pair of flip flops to wear in the shower. Girls, yall are gross. I can’t tell you how many times there was hair all over the shower, or a used tampon flung into the corner. Please clean up after yourselves. Don’t leave makeup in the sink. Bathrooms are a COMMUNITY SPACE, be courteous.
If you want to go out and party, that’s fine, but keep your priorities straight. Are you at school to party and drink, or are you there to get an education and eventually a job?
GO TO CAREER SERVICES! They can help you with your resume, and do mock interviews.
GO TO YOUR ALUMNI OFFICE! Alums love helping students find internships and jobs. The people in that office can help you get in contact with the them.
This is all I can think of for now, but for the love of god, heed my warnings. College can be a wonderful time to learn and grow as a person, but it can also be really depressing and tough. Seek help, get involved, and go to class. Good luck! 💕

WOOT WOOOOOT!!! TO CELEBRATE THE FINAL CHAPTER BEING RELEASED, ME AND MYSTIC THOUGHT OF A BUNCH OF QUESTIONS TO ANSWER IN REGARDS TO LFAY!!!!!!!!!!! TO SHOW OUR GRATITUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What was your overall experience / journey reading the fic?
esper / melop-sia: when i started reading, i was instantly hooked. i genuinely don't think i have liked a fic this much as this one. i loved it so much that id actively check my gmail inbox every hour or so to see if a new chapter was posted 🥲 the most chapters i read in a row was 6, and that was when i first discovered the fic!!! after, i became a slow reader and soaked up every little description you wrote because i didn't wanna miss anything– thats probably why i noticed so many parallels 😁!! doing that also let me take it your writing and it's awesome! even awesome enough to get me back into reading stuff! hell, this fic was a reason why i bought gregory maguire's wicked novel 😅 it lit back a love for reading that i hadn't seen for a few years at least! and back to parallels, they were undoubtedly a key part of enjoyment in my journey with lfay! i always got so excited when i found one and wouldn't hesitate to kick around all energised 🥳🥳 im so glad that you went the extra mile by adding the parallels, it vastly improved my reading experience!
mystic / mystic-oni: Okay I've gotta admit I'm not usually the romantic type but they r so cute omgggggg 🥺
I think if i could change anything about the story or my experience reading it i would leave everything the same. It was just something fun, exciting and immersive i could go to after a rough day and although I am guilty of sometimes having one or two chapters stacked up after forgetting to read 😅, I was never finding myself not wanting to read it unless I was trying to savour it for a time when I would need it most. Plus gave me something extra to talk about with esper/melop-sia 😁😁😁
Especially if we were both reading a chapter at the same time. O ye and the characters are so well done and like the ones we all know so sometimes i just forget i'm reading something fan made because it's that good. I actually sometimes finding myself just melding the two together on accident (i mean thats probably expected considering i'm still somewhat new to the wicked fandom but still it wouldnt be possible if the characters weren't portrayed accurately)!
What about the AU stood out to you (in comparison to the adapted material)?
esper: i think what really stood out to me was how much more you fleshed out each character in comparison to the musical. i loved how you gave everyone another layer of personality along with the ones already set by the musical, yet keeping dialogue and interactions so on point 💓! one thing that is so important to me is a character's personality being accurate. i have so much less enjoyment with a fic when characters are written completely different to their "source", so it was a relief and delight to see the consistent characterisation ⭐️⭐️⭐️!!! a bit off topic but i also really liked how you included some references from the book!
mystic: Well, i've only seen one of the musicals on yt (so far, might read the book cuz esper has it and she said she could lend it to me after they had finished it 😁😁). I really felt though from my experience with wicked (not much but anyways 😅) it really fleshed out more of the characters, like how elphaba has nyctophobia cuz it just added another like, obstacle and really added to her character and existing challenges. Also like the letters were a crucial part of moving this fic away from the original material, im rlly proud of myself because while it was in the part of the story where letters were most important, i noticed a lot of familiarity with something but i couldn't figure out what. Then i remembered i had seen the movie "You've got mail" and it was one of the inspirations which i love and made me enjoy the story even more just because it felt familiar in a way.
What was your favourite chapter? Why?
esper: wooof that is a hard questionn 😯😯 i have a few favourites, but ill try to limit it to one or two...... after a bit of thinking, i think i have to say 11 and 19: each for pretty different reasons admittedly 😅. for one, i loved 19 particularly because of how sweet the fiyeraba date was!!! it was the [infodumping gf] and [polite listening bf] dynamic that i lovee so much 🥺🥺🥺 it was so cuteee!!!! the angst was saddening to say the least, but i really enjoyed how you wrote their dialogue and how they finally came to an agreement.
and. onto 11. that chapter was just insane /pos. it was so good i reread it multiple times and thought about it for a while and, at the same time was utterly speechless. i can say one thing though: the yearning. THE YEARNING!!!!!!!! the yearning was so good dudee!!!!!! i usually don't even like yearning but it was just wild how caught up they were both getting and the suspense was palpable. it was so impactful and therefore one of my favourites. close runner up for most favourites is 9 i loved how it finally broke down the established initial barrier and tension between elphaba and fiyero in an engaging way!! another runner up is 21 for an awesome sequence of scenes that made me feeeellll 🥺 soon to be elaborated on!
mystic: Oke im gonna be honest, in order to answer this question i found myself skimming over a lot of chapters that i had remembered i liked and i cant decide on one because they were all so great or had an important event that i couldn't compare to other chapters. I was planning on going into specifics but since i'm so torn im gonna save it for the moments question 😭
Tysm for the indecisiveness cuz all ur chapters are soo good u should be proud. Also it gave me a reason to look back to try and find my favourite and although i didnt get a clear result it was really refreshing reading the older chapters again.
What was your favourite scene or moment? Why?
esper: I HAVE A FEW FOR THIS ONE TOO!!! the first one that comes to mind is fiyero getting to kick jozsef's ass 😁 i absolutely loved how he got back at him after so long and im just a sucker for people getting what they deserve 🥳!!! it was an awesome inclusion and i was so satisfyed with how that turned out. alsooo i loved fiyeraba's bickering pre-museum break in, it definitely wasnt the first or last time i audibly laughed at something in this fic! and elphaba playing go fish with dorothy was hilarious and not near anything i expected for the last chapter of the main story 😅😅😅 that as well as her warming up to dorothy was simply amazing to me!
onto a more wholesome moment, i loved the dance between fiyero and elphie in the empty ozdust, it was such an intimate and romantic moment between them and i couldn't help but love them more after 🥺 following that, the scene of glinda and elphaba making up with each other and becoming friends again! it was just amazing and all around so pleasant to read!!! another few follow ups, glinda confronting fiyero and forgiving him, as well as starting the party! it was a nice flow of funny to touching and then hopeful!
mystic: oke for me its gotta be those bits where elphie does something cool or funny, like in chapter five when Jozsef was tryna splash her with water and she just dumped it all back on him, like that was pretty badass. Also the petition bit in chapter 7 had me dyinggggggg 💀💀💀 (especially the intimidation and fear, i found it pretty funny and also smart how they used that to get people to support their cause). Also the closet bit in chapter nine was really memorable, and exciting to read and I think most people really liked that part. Just the awkwardness and tensionnnnnn aaaaaaah!!! 😁🥲👏👏👏
Okay, and im sure the Ozdust in chapter 13 had everyone on the edge of their seats (Depending on whether u were sitting 😅) when all the secrets were revealed and the truth was spilled everywhere. Ending with quick escape and a great cliffhanger that kept everyone wondering about the chapters to come. There are so, so, so many more but I end up forgetting where after I try to reread (maybe i should have written notes or something idk 😆). Once again thank you so much for making these truly ✨magical✨ moments for people to enjoy.
Thoughts on the ending / last chapter?
esper: i know i already wrote my thoughts in a comment before, but now we have the epilogue so i can talk about that too!! for one, i don't think i would've had the ending any other way. 34 just had a great balance between presented aspects: it was heart-warming but bittersweet. not to mention such a satisfactory read after keeping up for the last month or two!
honestly im so happy about 35!!! honestly after the roller coaster of the "act 2 chapters" im glad we got a tonn of fluff. it was a wonderful peek into fiyeraba's new life and it was sooo cute 🥺🥺 genuinely loved it so much, another one of my favourite chapters❣️ im glad their story got to continue on into a fulfilling lifestyle for both of them 💗💗💗
mystic: Perfect. I didn't think too much about the last chapter before I read it because i didn't really want to go in with a predetermined idea of what I thought would happen because I just knew it might ruin the experience although I was very excited for it and did ponder for... maybe a minute or two 👀, and I came to the conclusion that I wasn't really sure where they would be next, but the fact they got to be together in the end without disturbance was good enough for me. I feel like the mood and especially the dialogue at the end of the chapter and just everything was more than I could have wanted, it was really good and never did I expect she would still be able to help the animals even after she moved and decided to try and just live a quiet, worry-free and normal life with Fiyero. Also just about the chapters before the epilogue, which i also really enjoyed, like how well Elphie got along with Dorothy, how she ultimately beat her final obstacle - her enemy since the beginning, the dark. Also Glinda in charge and Morrible in prison 😈✨🥳 yayyyyy 🎊
Final thoughts
esper: i thank you so much for this fic, it has really helped me through these few weeks and i commend you for making a fic worth all the praise given and more!!!!! im a little sad to see this journey over now, but im glad i was able to be part of it and get my friend into it too! ill likely be rereading as well as consuming some of your past content in waiting for your next project!! i really hope to experience that too 💖 sending much love and support
mystic: One of the only times that I can't help myself from writing "also" way too much because there are so many things I loved about this. Love, Fae & Yero was an adventure that I really felt apart of, and I hope I'm not too attached to let go of it now 😭😭😭
Me and esper spent a while writing this and they and I really want to thank you for your hard work, we tried to have this finished by a certain time and spent a while thinking of our questions as well as the most important things we should say. Hope we weren't too late 😅
AGAIN THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR WRITING!!!!!
FROM ESPER AND MYSTIC 💚❤💖

Company Town
There was a woman being pulled out of the freelance line. I was trying not to stare. It'd been on the news. Only three out of the two-hundred and seventy-five freelance countries had been represented at the last UC meeting. So the law to revoke un-corporatized passports had gone through.
If they'd wanted to be able to fly without guest certification from a nearby company town, they should have elected a representative from their country to attend the meeting. After all, they'd been invited. Google had sent gmails to everyone with a gmail on earth. It was an important meeting after all.
The woman was making a scene. Apparently her passport’s authentication had been revoked between flights. That was unfortunate.
I checked my gmap. Chicago was a corporate town for Airbus. They'd be able to go into the city since it was just an extension of the airport. But they wouldn’t be allowed to leave without a guest visa.
Guest visas weren’t that expensive. Only about 30ccs for one on average. Disney’s guest visa was 75cc, but it came with a lot of perks, after all.
The problem of course was that an expedited visa couldn’t be bought with company credits. You had to use coin - the stable intermediary.
What was the exchange rate for coin right now? It didn’t matter. I didn’t know this person. But I frowned thinking about it anyway. Last time I’d had to make a conversion was when my wife’s cancer had been deemed a pre-existing condition, since she’d changed companies to marry me.
I still had the 10,000 coin I’d traded my retirement fund out for to try and cover the cost. But it hadn’t been enough.
Since the death has been ruled “refused treatment,” the company had only paid for the barest of services, and my rental on Cindy’s plot was deferred for five years. I would have to start paying on it pretty soon. If I wasn’t already. It was only 5cc; it’s possible it had gone through without my noticing. I couldn’t remember how long it’d been. Was it five years, or four?
“Sir. Your passport.” I snapped back to the here and now. A flight attendant was holding her hand out. I handed the card over.
We’d already gone through security once. The double-doors would light up green for people who had a corporatized ID. But not all company employees had bothered, when it was still optional.
Red lights for un-corporatized IDs just meant you had to go through the TSA scanners, which was a huge waste of company resources. Company employees were monitored 24/7 anyway, and a corporatized ID provided real time updates on a person’s threat assessment level, so it was far cheaper to just do away with the TSA agent and ban the un-corporatized IDs altogether.
A little green light appeared above my passport, and I took it back with a tired smile. Apparently, I’d not done anything concerning while in the airport.
I strode onto the Airbus calmly. But that woman was still on my mind. It wasn’t my problem. It shouldn’t have been my concern. But it just made me think of all the other freelancers who would be in this situation now. How many people’s business trips had just been interrupted? How many families missing their loved ones couldn’t see them now?
It was their own fault of course. The guest certification program had been in place for years. But would there have been a way to ensure more onboarding before the vote? Was there a way they could have forced the certification through a payroll deduction like they do with rent and car registration?
The person seated ahead of me coughed, and I adjusted my mask slightly, out of nervous habit more than any real sense of concern. The last breakout was six months ago, according to the Times, but I didn’t mask up very often, so the papery fabric felt strange against my skin. Adjusting it, my fingers skated across the slightly raised logo on the right side. It was good of Amazon to provide personal use masks to their workers. Not all companies did. At JP Morgan, they made their employees buy them at the company store, since the work was remote so the town was fully quarantined. That’s what I’d heard from my foreman Greg at least.
Packing away my carry-on and sitting down, I checked Meta one more time. I didn’t want to be intrusive with a video call in front of all these other people, so I just recorded a gif to send to Penelope. She was sixteen now, old enough to help out at the company store, with parental approval, so she probably wouldn’t get the message until break time.
I was shocked, then, when Penny responded with her own gif.
She wasn’t at work. I didn’t recognize the location. There were tears on her face. “I love you. I’m sorry.”
Wait… why did this feel like a goodbye? I tried calling, but it didn’t go through. I stared at my screen. There’s no way her batteries could have died.
She was a teenager now, prone to rebellion. Did she… had she figured out a way to turn her phone off?
No, couldn’t be. They could be restarted. But the only time a phone powered down was if the batteries died, and even then, a foreman would provide a docking station for you to recharge at work at the very latest.
I tried calling again, but midway through an announcement came on saying that the plane would be taking off soon. Maybe it was just airplane mode kicking in early, then. I’d never tried making a call right before a flight.
But something about the whole situation felt off. I fidgeted restlessly for the rest of the flight, worrying about my daughter.
Penny had taken a long time to recover after her mother had died. She’d been moody and withdrawn, not even talking in therapy, the company doctor had told me. I'd tried reaching out, but she’d shrugged me off for years before finally talking about it.
Even then, she hadn't been the same. The Penny I remembered as a child had been creative, artistic. We’d debated doing a Disney internship, back before...
But Penny lately had expressed a lot of interest in staying in the company town, even going so far as to request the cashier job.
Had it all just been an illusion, hiding a deep depression? Was my little girl okay?
The traveler beside me had started to attempt to make idle banter, but I couldn't focus. I eventually just pulled up a book on my a-reader. Something to make me look sufficiently distracted.
A four-hour flight was enough to feel like it took forever in the best of circumstances. I finally managed to fall asleep around two hours in, but it was restless and fraught with bad dreams. My nerves were frayed by the time we landed.
I zipped out of the plane as fast as possible, which even on a loosely packed plane wasn’t very fast. I tried calling Penny again once I was in the lobby, but it still wouldn’t go through. At this rate, I would have to call my foreman. I had a bad feeling about this.
I checked my watch multiple times as I waited for my bag to arrive in the carousel. The biometrics informing me that my heart rate was rising were unhelpful. I knew that. What I needed to know was how much longer it was going to take stuck in this airport.
Bag finally in hand, I rushed for the door. I’d call Greg once I got to the hotel, and he could check on Penny for me. The exit of course had someone checking for visas, and I handed my passport and guest visa over, trying not to think too uncharitably about how if I were still in Chicago I’d be halfway to the hotel by now, not waiting for yet another green light to flash my status as an approved company vacationer onto the screen.
The light flashed red. I was already halfway to reaching to take my passport back before I realized it.
My hand fell. There was no way. I hadn’t even done anything other than read a book between the last scan and now, and it was a book I’d read before, obtained from the a-reader store. Why on earth?
The teller gestured me to the side. She still hadn’t returned my papers. I watched as other passed through the security checkpoint without issue.
I wasn’t going to make a scene. I wasn’t going to be like that freelance woman, complaining about a system she’d never been told about and hadn’t bought into. There was no use arguing anyway. I’d talk to security, they’d double check whatever nonsense had raised the false flag in the first place, and then I’d be on my way.
The security officer took my paperwork, then led me to a private office. If I was supposed to feel intimidated, the colorful carpet and bright Airbus logo splashing the wall certainly didn’t express that. But the officer was frowning seriously.
Moment’s later, another uninformed man walked in, but this wasn’t Airbus security. This was a police officer.
“Agent Gorman. United Corporations Enforcement Division. Nice to meet you, Mr. McGraff.”
I nodded silently, not scanning the ID card Agent Gorman flashed towards me, waving it off. “What’s going on here? I’d really like to get to a hotel so I can check on my daughter.”
Gorman leaned against the desk in what was probably supposed to be a friendly way, but felt overbearing.
“Your daughter is who we want to talk to you about, Mr. McGraff. There’s some evidence she’s been involved in some criminal activity. Can I ask you some questions about a video you got earlier today?”

Hi , I see your post about how to buy gems for Android , and I want to ask you if you know how buy gems for Apple/iphone , because buying apple cards is almost imposible or really expensive because I don´t live in Japan
At first, it’s the same as here for iOS, but things start getting different once you try to approve the payment.
Tumblr media
If you’re not on the Japanese Store, you’ll get this message once you try to approve the payment:
Tumblr media
So you need to enter the Japanese account used to download Twst first and, thankfully, everything should be in your phone language, so no need to guess what is written.
You can add a payment method, but it has to be Japanese and you probably don’t have those as you’re not a Japan resident.

Your only option to directly buy gems is to add credits with a Japanese iTunes Gift Card/Code bought from a reputable site, get sent the code by e-mail and redeem it. But, as you already know, it can get quite expensive.

The only other method would be to find another person (with Android phone or that actually lives in Japan/has a Japanese Credit Card) to buy the gems for you and you pay them back.
You’d have to trust them enough to give them your Transfer ID and Password so they can access your Twst account and buy the gems for you.
Never give your linked account info (such as Gmail or LINE), only the Transfer ID and Password, and remember to change the password once you get it back if you don’t want them to access your account as they wish.
Your Transfer ID is different from your Friend ID and can be found in the Config Menu, 4th tab:

The big purple button is used to reset/change your current Password.

So many of the coping strategies you mentioned are online/ And indeed, it is difficult escaping the internet what with how ubiquitous smartphones are. I used to love discovering new music and making playlists on a music streaming app. But what if the “abuser” is tech savvy and mostly gets to you through networked devices? And you don’t know enough to figure out if changing passwords, phones, laptops, etc is enough. At this point, I feel like I am violating the privacy of anyone I reach out to.
A lot of that depends on whether or not the person abusing you knows you’re aware she’s tracking you. If she thinks you’re not aware of what’s going on this advice will work better. If she’s told you she’s tracking your behavior I have different advice. (We’re going to call your abuser Alice for the rest of this post.)
Okay, so if she doesn’t know you know - Cellphone first:
You’re either going to need to go to a public library or get a prepaid phone and go somewhere with wifi that Alice isn’t aware of. (A starbucks or mcdonald’s or the public library)
On a library computer or on the burner phone create a new account for your main phone. If you’ve got an android create a new gmail account, if you’ve got an iphone create a new appleID.
WHILE STILL ON THE LIBRARY COMPUTER OR THE BURNER PHONE add your new gmail or appleID as a recovery account for your previous accounts and delete any other recovery email addresses associated with those accounts.
Log into your old account from the library computer or the burner phone and change the password.
On the monitored phone back up and sync your photos and messages; manually write down the numbers of the contacts you want to keep because you will not be restoring from the backup; the backup is just so you can keep your photos and messages, they are not going on the phone again and you are going to lose all your apps and message history and contacts and settings.
You only have to back the phone up if you want to keep your photos and messages. If you’ve got them saved elsewhere then don’t worry about it because you WILL NOT restore from backup.
While the phone is backing up create a Protonmail account and begin the process of switching your online accounts to the protonmail address (do this from the burner or the library computer); change the passwords as you go and prioritize from most important to least important (banking first, socials last)
Once your monitored phone’s photos or messages are backed up to your old account’s email address change the associated account by using the instructions at the links bolded links above.
Do a factory reset of the phone (here’s how on android, here’s how on iphone).
Once the phone is reset *do not* restore from backup.
The first thing you should do is encrypt your phone. This may make your phone slower, but it will also make it safer. Make sure to set a passphrase or pin instead of using biometric IDs like thumbprints or facial recognition.
Once you’ve done that disable or uninstall junk apps and restrict permissions on all the remaining apps to only what is appropriate for those apps (for instance tumblr doesn’t get access to your microphone or camera). Here’s how on android, here’s how on apple.
While you’re still someplace that isn’t your home and using their internet manually reinstall the apps you use that you know are safe. Install an encrypted messenger like Signal, use that instead of your phone’s default messaging apps and ask your friends to use it too (feel free to tell them that you were being spied on and that this is for their privacy too). Install firefox focus instead of using the default browser.
Subscribe to a VPN for your phone; NordVPN is pretty inexpensive and overall well regarded.
From there on out never, ever let anyone use your phone. Never hand it to anyone unlocked, don’t use charger cables someone else gave you, and don’t use wifi without the VPN.
The advice for a desktop computer is pretty similar: go outside of the monitored network, change email addresses and passwords, and reinstall your computer’s operating system and programs manually. Purchase a VPN, use a complicated password to log in to your desktop, and install some variety or other of very aggressive antivirus.
Once you’ve got spyware or stalkerware wiped off your device it’s largely just a process of making sure that no one else can access your device. Like. If you have a laptop consider putting it in a knock-off otterbox case from Harbor Freight and padlock it closed when you’re not using it. Encrypt everything. Don’t let people plug stuff in to your computer, don’t download anything anyone has sent you.
It’s paranoid and exhausting but it works and it also does a good job of teaching you to be more about tech stuff so you can protect yourself better in the future.
So all of that is if Alice is not aware that you’re aware she’s spying on you. That process only works if Alice isn’t going to see you get back from the library and say “give me access to all your accounts again or I’m throwing you out on the street.”
If Alice DOES say that then a lot of the same advice applies just slightly adjusted:
Make a completely separate set of accounts for everything and only ever access them from phones that Alice doesn’t know about or from safe computers (like those at school or at the library or at work) and never use a network that Alice has access to.
You’re still setting up a protonmail, you’re still encrypting your burner phone and never letting anyone touch it, but now instead of changing your facebook password you are creating a new facebook with a different name and a different photo and putting everything on private and adding only the friends who you know can keep it secret.
Anyway, what you’re dealing with sounds super shitty and I hope this is helpful for creating a space where you feel comfortable online again.
