A zine piece for the Hqxpkmn travel zine that i genuinely thought i had posted before but after looking through realized i had not 😭😭 i hope yall enjoy the piece and my hcs for what pokemon people have!!! (Ukai/ampharos, takeda/bewear, daichi/arcanine, yamaguchi/cyndaquil, tsukki/mudkip, akagi/flygon but only bc i wanted to add flygon who is my favorite)

Also some backstory: Giratina was somehow wreaking havoc in the distortion world and this group of people got sucked in. Absol, being the disaster pokemon, sensed this and went looking to warn people and try to help. Takeda and ukai are basically telling the kids to go back to the gateway and escape while they go running towards absol to try and help buy time for everyone!!!

thank you!! hmmm, after checking my notes again i kinda want to talk about teru!! let me take this opportunity to give him a team. i never ended up giving mob a full six so i'm just going to stick to five for teru too.

galarian ponyta (psychic), swoobat (psychic/flying), kirlia (psychic/fairy), oricorio, baile style (fire/flying), & furfrou (normal)

so, originally i wanted to stick with all psychic types for him but i honestly wasn't a big fan of any of the fire/psychic types for him and i really wanted him to have a fire type! i wanted to try to represent some of the moves he learns from other espers.

these are mostly really just pokemon that felt right for him? i picked swoobat bc it's part psychic and it evolves from woobat with high friendship. i remembered talking to you in dms about him maybe having a zubat/crobat to indicate character growth.

i feel like you can probably guess why i picked a furfrou too lol. they probably try out different trims a lot but i really like the star trim specifically for him.

So, with the new legends there's a neat way we can take a guess at some of the time frame. Although it's largely aesthetic and hard to gauge the intended historical parallels of, the not-Eiffel Tower at the center of the city could presumably have been completed in the late 1880s like the real thing. Interestingly that places it pretty concurrent to the construction of the Hokkaido Government building in the 1870s that served as the basis of the Galaxy Team HQ in the first Legends game.

But with the keywords being "urban redevelopment" the setting could only possibly be Haussman's renovation of Paris that took place from the 1850s-1920s. So given that the tower is already standing, that places Legends Z-A between 1889 and 1927.

And I doubt it would play into the setting of a Pokemon game but I think it's neat that it would mean taking place firmly in the 3rd French Republic, as that's not typically the most romanticized period of French history. (Kind of shocking given just how much Japanese pop culture loves to fixate on the Ancien Regime and Rococco architecture.) It's right at the height of the French Colonial empire and their rivalry with the British... Even if they don't address the history directly, certainly not the darker bits, I wonder if we'll see an ancestor of Rose* and some mention of Kalos and Galar's relation as a hint at the Pokemon world's equivalent of India. (Elephant, what elephant...)

Also I know a lot of the stupid "leaks" that were just running with any/every rumor they could find had been talking about Celebi, despite there being no signs of it in the direct, but it's possible that the Z-A title and the fadethru of the sort of sci-fi looking city diagram into a pencil and parchment one is indicating going back in time --backwards, from Z to A, end to start.

and just so long as I'm just picking at edges of things...

The unknown are an anagram of, "POKEMON PRESENTS"(oh and the SOEYUE one at the end is just "SEE YOU") and the ""confidential"" stamp on the documents likely reads "Gokuhi" as in gokuhi[極秘]: "Top Secret," but the rest of the text doesn't seem to match either Japanese, French, or English,

Hito to POKEMON no kyouzon o yumemite[人と ポケモンの共存を夢見て]: "Dreaming of people and Pokemon's coexistence" Toshisaikaibatsu hassou MIARE CITY[都市再開発発想ミアレシティ]: "Urban Redevelopment Concept Miare City"

The obvious exception being that redacted text is clearly the romanized MIARE from the Japanese MIARE[ミアレ] and the English CITY, which is the Japanese name for what was localized as "Lumiose."

Curiously the word "Pokemon" is very clearly missing from the passage, and also in both cases there are too few "Galarian" characters for how long the phrases are in any actual language.

and finally, given some of the existing examples of handwritten Galarian in SwSh, I'm guessing the text on the big logo is as i've transcribed into the more standard Galar font, although I'm really uncertain about that second one, and a bit iffy about the big "X"s, but the little cyclone O, the V with the underbar, and the E seem certain enough.

Also there's a logo I know I remember seeing that looks like this one but I can't remember where it is or what it's associated with.... It's the logo on the Macro Cosmos power plant. Not Rose's personal logo with the stylized rose, and not the Cosmos business logo with the big star system orbital ring Cs, but the power plant in Hammerlock where you go to fight Eternatus specifically.

It would be really neat if whatever this organization is was tied back to an ancestor of Rose and Peony and the origins of Macro Cosmos somehow.

I finally solved a musical mystery! I kept looking for the Emotion theme from ORAS but I couldn't find it on YouTube or the official soundtrack. I could find the emotion remixes for Wally, Zinnia, and Brendan, but not the generic one. But I finally found it! It's a remix of the emotion theme in Black and White that was in X and Y and later carried over to ORAS. I know this cause it's playing in Black 2 as I write this and the moment I heard it I looked it up on YT and the first video that popped up was Pokemon X/Y - Black/White Emotion Music (HQ) (shout out to Pokeli, btw, they have, like, almost all the Pokemon music archived on their channel plus some remixes) with the version from BW directly below it.

For now i drew these two bc im pretty solid on what i think their main partner pokemon are!! There are some characters like tanaka and nishinoya where i have decided on their main pokemon but for others i just have vague ideas of what pokemon i think would be on their team...

I also drew rougher sketches of daichi, kageyama, takeda, and makki if yall are interested EHEHE 👀👀

Honestly idk what else to say other than these pairs make sense to me AHAHHA noya and pikachu JUST MAKES SENSE is it cuz of rolling thunder?? I do not know but the friendly electric energy is just too good to pass up ⚡️⚡️!!! Im not sure if noya would ever evolve pikachu into raichu tho so thats smth i have to think about...

And then tanaka and monferno AHHHHH originally i thought about him and infernape, which i see happening when hes older, but i think at high school age tanaka and monferno would have the best dynamic since theyre both growing and such!!! Their fiery... primate energy just goes so well together HAHAHAHHAHA 🔥🔥🤣🤣

A little future fic with adult Jack working at the BAU. His partner Agent Smith, I just chose that name cuz it’s... well, common.

You ran when you entered the HQ, and the elevator was closing. When you sighed as the elevator closed, it opened again. An agent with a black suit was holding the elevator for you.

“Thank you,” you thanked the agent, who gave you a small smile.

It was a quiet journey to the BAU floor. As soon as the elevator opened, Jack was there. 

“D/M? What’re you doing here?” Your son asked with widened eyes, looking back and forth between you and the agent. “You know Smith?” You didn’t miss Jack’s already widened eyes widen further. 

“No, here to see your father,” you snorted. “This agent held the elevator for me.”

“Oh, right,” Jack awkwardly brushed the back of his head. “Of course, you wouldn’t know Smith.” You raised your brows. “I mean unless dad talked about agents from other teams.”

You just hummed as you knew Jack wanted to just run away from there. You knew Jack was up to something. But you also knew it wouldn’t be bad. He was, after all, you and Aaron’s kid.

“Then, I’ll leave you, agents, together.” You took a step back, heading to your husband’s office. “Bye!” You quickly waved your hand and rushed to Aaron’s office.

“Wait, D/M! D/M?” Jack called you behind, but you ignored it.

Before Aaron answered the knock, you entered his office.

“I didn’t say ‘enter’,” Aaron frowned as he didn’t look up from the papers.

“I’m running away from Jack.”

“He knew you were coming?” Aaron finally looked up from the paper. 

The former BAU chief was now the section chief. You smiled at your husband. He was aging handsomely, especially with that glasses.

“Nope, I think he was waiting for Agent Smith.” You shrugged and sat before your husband. Aaron took off the glasses and looked at you with a smile lingering on his lips.

“Agent Smith, huh?”

“They’re dating, right?” You asked in a whisper as if something might eavesdrop.

“But they think they’re hiding well,” Aaron chuckled. He held his hand, and you put your hand on him over the table. Aaron started to rub the back of your hand with his thumb. “Jack thinks he can hide from me because he’s a profiler now.”

You laughed with your husband.

“You’ll always know what he’s doing, aren’t you?”

Aaron smirked. “Who do you think Jack’s trainer was?” Aaron grinned and stood up from the chair, gently pulling his hand out from yours. “Whether he’s 20 or 50, I’ll always know my son.”

“Besides,” he stood beside you, holding his hand out. “I always know what you want.”

“Do you now, Section Chief Hotchner?” You lazily made circles on his hand with your finger.

“Let’s have dinner, and we can do whatever you want to do.”

“Jack and Agent Smith?”

“Wanna invite them? They gonna choke on their food.” Aaron gave you a teasing grin.

“Then we can’t let that happen, can we?” You finally grabbed his hand, and he pulled you from the chair. Your lips lightly brushed. “Have I told you  I love you today?”

“Not in the evening,” Aaron smiled boyishly.

“I love you, Aaron.”

“I love you, F/N.”

Team Rocket fanfics ideas Part 1. Team Rocket’s ideas – PART 2 : The ship Giovanni x Ariana

- Madame Boss tell to Giovanni he will team up with Ariana. Giovanni is not happy but he must obey to his mom. Ariana don't want to treat him as the precious Team Rocket's heir/Boss-to-be, she's rather amused to make fun of him by call him "Monsieur l'héritier" and not by his name (she only do it in few occasions), she want Giovanni to proove his value on the field and not eating his boots like others. She has a proud but calm attitude, she love doing crimes, she's good as pokemon trainer. She has ambitious goal ; not staying a grunt but level up to become executive/commander (to tied this to the canon game).

- Giovanni and Ariana relationship is chaotic ; they don't get along, Giovanni trying to get Ariana to recognize his superiority/value, Ariana don't take him seriously/scold him when he doing mistakes. Even if they bickering a lot, their missions are still a success. They do lights missions (steal evolving stones or burglaries) but they also do important missions to foreshadowing some Kanto or Johto events (the Lune Stones at Mt Moon, Slyphe Co.'s products, Saint-Anne's boat, Johto's HQ). They don’t flirt openly because it’s not how they are. It doesn’t stop grunts and Petrel to still make bet and rumors about them, tho.

Their feelings for each other growing SLOW. It's only in the middle of the story they start to get along little by little... before their ambitious self goal kick-in and Ariana decide she'll be better without him. Giovanni, who started to warm up towards Ariana, don't take it well but he's agree because it's the right thing to do. Their duo get separate and they walk on their own route (they still bickering or provoke each other when they cross path tho). They admit their feelings and get together almost at the end of the story, like two or three chapters before the last chapter.

- Madame Boss is proud to have Ariana as daughter-in-law and she made a little ceremony to welcome Ariane in the familia, mafioso’s style.

- The final chapter ends on a slight timeskip and centers on Giovanni's succession to Madame Boss as leader of Team Rocket + announcement of Ariane's pregnancy.

They’ll have 2 childrens (but not at the same time) : - Mars (who’ll become commander Mars in Team Galactic.) If you’re a rocket fans, you’ll probably fall on this headcanon or idea or fanart at some point because of how similar Ariana and Mars are. My friend and I made up a backstory for her too. We slighty change her name : we decided to take Marcia, it’s the french name of her ancestor in Pokemon Legend Arceus. So it’s suit her perfectly. - Silver. Trivias : - Ariana has 3 Pokemon ; Arbok, Glom, Murkrow. - Giovanni has 4 Pokemon ; Persian, Rhyhorn, Nidorino and Nidorina.

- Ariana’s earrings triangles form she wear in the games were Giovanni’s gift for her commander grade ; of course, they’re stolen ones.

- Mars and Silver have 7 years of age gap. Ariana has 20 y/o and Giovanni 23 y/o when they have Mars. Ariana 27 and Giovanni 30 when they have Silver. (since Giovanni has 40/41 at Kanto-Johto series and that Silver has 10/11 old. Ariana has 37/38). For this, we don’t count the 3 years from the games because it’s too complicated, instead we stay on anime’s pattern of 1 region = 1 year.

Read your Irida head cannons and I loved it! Could you please do a Cynthia x Reader? Like you were once a part of Team Plasma but she talked you out of it. Maybe you were fending her off for your teammates to make their escape. Of course you would loose but you did impress her. I also imagine you would help her take them down. At first you were hesitant giving only information but later you would help and along the way things click with you two. Also on another note we had gotta be high enough in that organization so that we don’t have that bowl cut every grunt had to have.

The team name typo confused me at first but now I get that you meant team galactic lol. And damn, Ya'll really giving me characters I didn't pay much attention to/haven't written before right off the bat huh? An explosion rang out through the trees as Honchkrow and Starly flew from their positions amongst the canopies.  A fight was raging on in a clearing nearby Lake Verity, you and a group of grunts were on your way to assist in the capturing of Mesprit, however your plans were ruined as the Sinnoh champion herself met you halfway. With a swoop of her Garchomp's claw your teammates' pokemon were out, as they panickily retuned their pokemon to the pokeballs they turned to you for assistance, as the one in charge of your group you understood what had to be done. Refusing to take your eyes off the champion, you yelled out an order for your grunts to leave and call back to HQ with an update on the situation and why you were retreating, as the words left your mouth your team reacted quickly, scooping up the things they had brought while you pulled out one of your partner pokemon. Bronzong was quickly let out of it's pokeball, and while Cynthia was distracted with the escaping grunts, you immediately yelled out a command. You instructed your Bronzong to use Hyper Beam, a move that could only be used to it's full power once.

Cynthia was not expecting that and therefore Garchomp had no time to react or defend itself as it was hit head on, causing it to be flung back into a nearby tree. Cynthia quickly collected herself from that surprise attack and gestured for her pokemon to use earthquake in turn. That was terrible news for you and your pokemon, as that move would be a type weakness on your behalf. And as soon as the battle began with those two pokemon, the battle was over. You quickly returned your pokemon and went straight to looking for another, quickly you pulled out and then fumbled with your next pokeball, letting your serious façade slip for only a moment before letting your next pokemon out, it was a Staraptor. Quickly as that, the process repeated, you would get as much as one small hit per pokemon until your entire team was defeated. At least all of the grunts have cleared out, and quickly after you returned your final pokemon you turned to run off as well.

You didn't get much of a chance to do that however, as you were quickly grabbed by the back of your shirt and flung back to Cynthia, hitting your back the wind was knocked out of you, and you gasped for air as Cynthia's Garchomp loomed over you.

You were frozen in fear, as you realized you had no way of getting away from the champion and back to base now. No way of the other commanders and your grunts would know what happened. No way for Cyrus to see anything or know where you had gone. You simply covered your eyes and curled up as a last resort, you didn't know what you were expecting, but you were expecting something bad. After a moment of nothing happening, the uncomfortable silence was broken by Cynthia finally speaking up "You aren't going to die, I'm not a savage if that's what you were expecting to happen." she stated simply, and you opened your eyes again to her standing closer to you. You waited a few more minutes before sitting up, then holding your head and groaning. "Did you get hurt?" Cynthia asked, crouching down a bit to your level "Just because I'm fighting you doesn't mean I meant for you to be injured, that's not my intended goal." She glanced you over, and when she saw nothing externally wrong right away, she went to reach for you, and you quickly moved away from her, causing the champion to pull her arm back.

"Do not lay a hand on me." you hissed at her, which she rolled her eyes to a bit but refrained from touching you anyways "You're pretty strong, and your battling skills were sharp." She complimented while you just sat there, trying to think of some form of escape plan to get away from her.

She simply sat there with you, as your panic increased, she said nothing, almost as if she was taunting you in doing so. At least that's what you imagined it to be like. After minutes of uncomfortable silence, she decided to speak up again.

"I don't quite understand you." she began, making you slightly turn your head to her in curiosity "...What do you mean?" you asked "Well, you're quite strong, your pokemon seem to really like you, and you looked to have somewhat had fun battling. Not only that, but you cared enough to sacrifice yourself in order to allow your teammates to leave and get to safety. You don't seem like a bad person. So why are you working with people who are bad..?"

It's been a few months since your first encounter with the champion. She had bailed you out of getting into deeper trouble due to what you had done, in turn that you assist her in the taking down of Team Galactic. For those months, you hadn't budged. You had repeatedly told her that you'd rather perish than have to turn on your own team. You were a stubborn commander, no way would you allow Cynthia to get away with stealing information from you. But, she was charming, and interesting to talk to. Her words were constructed and soft, she seemed to care about how you felt, and why you did what you did, and she cared about your pokemon just as much as you did. You found it strange that somebody cared about the things that you did so much, but after time, you accepted it, began opening up, and learning new things. Mostly things about your old team. You soon rejected their goal and made your own. To battle along Cynthia and assist her however you could. And maybe that side smile she'd give you when you trained would grow into a full one. Maybe, one day.
