there is absolutely nothing wrong with someone rediscovering their faith but joshua basset’s instagram stories are giving me in a psychotic episode trying to find a measure of peace.

What I mean by that is there is a certain vulnerability that you can experience when you’re very unhappy or unwell and faith can fill that void in a genuinely dangerous way. It says all this pain you’re feeling well, I have the answers and it’s so alluring. Particularly as a queer person with a touch of fragility who has openly expressed contrary views on faith and how it hurt him. Idk knowing the childhood context of his religious trauma/abuse it does honestly make me a little worried

Idk maybe im in my delulu era or being too optimistic but i think sydcarmy is gonna have their first kiss this season by the last episode like in my mind makes sense cause ive watched a serie that also had this will they won't they dinamic and the antis were like "they are platonic, they're friends, sibling vibes" and all the blablabla and in my head their story has other similarities with sydcarmy and by the end of s3 they kissed after a lot of disbelief, exes and miscommunication and if anyone is wondering im talking abt hstmts which is a silly show but they made a really good teen romance at it like i wasn't expecting what i saw from a disney teen show anywayyy they finally had their moment in the season finale so yeah im hopeful that sydcarmy will follow the same path, I think later im gonna write abt Ricky and Gina and explain why i think they're so similar to sydcarmy, honestly i think i see sydcarmy everywhere now 🤣 they are in the keith and watts dinamic, they are in a disney teen show, in a netflix italian teen show, they are in a novela couple i watched, they are in richonne, anyway i need them to happen

Ok, at the end I am only mad at four things I am mad about HSTMTS finale (and most of them, I mean, I wasn't expecting anything else):

EJ/Gina/Ricky wasn't a two people thing GOD FUCKING SHAKE PEOPLE HAVE MORE THAN ONE HAND (especially with messy theater kids that are IN NO WAY STRAIGHT)

Honestly, same goes to certain two teachers and one student's dad (plus, Ricky's three parental figures together? FUCKING HILARIOUS). Also, by getting both his parents back together they destroyed something I LOVED: a couple no longer together, with their issues but mutual respect and both caring for their kid

The plot of the alleged HSM4: TAYLOR AS A SIMPLE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL?! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! (though having Mo was such a pleasure...) It almost made me forget the whole let's take Ryan out of the closet but not even acknowledge the whole thing with Chad... that being said: I think both cast and crew understood the assignment and both the songs for Taylor and Chad and the one for Ryan and unnamed partner pretty much felt for Chad and Ryan

And, now, the one that actually made me MAD ANGRY PISSED: Jen passing on WICKED. I don't know how I would have made it but...she deserved it and really REALLY WANTED IT. Though, the moment Kate began singing For Good...CHILLS I LOVE HER SO MUCH

the romantic conflict is so TIRED. like why is it every season there's a relationship issue? this conflict feels so out of place with gina wanting to keep it a secret. i get that it's bc of what her mom said, but i just don't think it makes sense and it's really frustrating that we have this every single season.

You make them sound like Rina from HSTMTS and it's getting me so emotional you might not watch the show but the character Gina had that line in the show to her love interest saying with him she feels seen and understood after not being able to feel that for so long I'm crying sorry I love BellyJere so much

I don’t think the sparks are gone with Portwell I just think they are out of their honeymoon phase and now things are getting serious for them. I still have hope for Portwell. I believe Portwell realized they are deeply in love with each other and they haven’t said those three words yet because they are scared to say it.

 Because the first person he was looking was Carlos with Seb and Gina and the camera went first to the teacher asking what were the most interesting interview, then to Ej reaction and then Ej looking at Gina...

But maybe i’m just hoping in something that would never happen...
