Moral mustve been seriously low in the SAA for this to have happened they kept retreating left and right without trying to dig in and put up a fight. Was it desertions? Officers acting autonomously breaking the chain of command? Why did assad's plane take off fly towards homs and then turn back around before crashing? Was it shot down? Was he even on board? Its crazy how rapid the whole thing went down. What do you anticipate happening next?

the FSA and other Syrian opposition groups are suffering from factionalist infighting, with ideologies ranging from Salafist fundamentalism to Secular democratic movements. With Assad gone, there will be a power vacuum left in which various factions of the Syrian opposition will strive to control. The Syrian Democratic Force (SDF), mostly comprising of Kurdish militias in Rojava, will most likely try to reach a compromise in order to prevent any form of escalation between the Turkish-backed rebels and various Kurdish militias. However, there is no doubt that the Kurds will be forced to make concessions to the Turkish-backed rebels or face displacement from various territories it obtained during the 2014 offensive, such as the city of Manbij, unless the US backs them, which is less than likely since Trump will assume office soon. With Trump having no interest in helping the Kurds in Rojava, they'll be at the mercy of the Turks and their puppets.

Hezbollah and other members of the Axis of resistance are severly weakened and the main supply route between Iran and these groups have been cut, substantially weakening these groups and their power in SWANA, much to the benefit of the Settler state and revisionist Zionists. Hamas will most likely fight to the bitter end, while Hezbollah will have to remain in the defense. Iran's image is severely weakened and will most likely go on the retreat for now.

This was such a fun read. MC sneaks into a party to eat and drink for free and when Sans asks them how they know the birthday boy (Papyrus), they say they're dating his brother.

They pretend to date eachother, which stirs a lot of drama because the mc starts being harassed, buuut they still go with it.

I also remember this had some short underfell spin off (like a couple of chapters but written with uf!Sans instead), which I was feral about.

Underfell / Mafiafell

Overgrowth by SociopathicArchangel (I'm gonna give some context about this one before talking about it)

Only the overgrowth story is from the author. Anything else is not 'canon' to the flowerfell au.

This one is not shippy at all (despite some people considering it a frans fic) as per the author's headcanon. There was some drama involved with this story (the author was also a great artist and was making a comic of this au, but people were impatient and started doing their own versions of the comic even though the author wasn't ok with it), but what made the author delete the fic and the rest of their socials all together was that people started reposting the original story on Ao3 and claiming it as their own, which made the author really upset. The video linked in the title is the only thing they were ok with.

This story is very special to me. It shows how shitty Uf!Sans world is and how it affected him. Why he is the way he is and all that.

When Frisk comes to the underground, he cannot fathom anyone being nice, which makes him believe he's being played. The plot also heavily relies on resets, which I love.

The story is quite sad (and I love that too), so have your tissues ready!

Saving Three Ex-cell-ent Skeletons by RecklesslyCaffeinated

I believe this one is inspired by some asks answered by llama on her Tumblr. It's the same trio as in aggre

MC is a nurse at a monster prison. There are three different skeletons there, and even though they look similar they're quite different. The one thing in common is that all of them dig her.

I love the story on this one, it feels like I'm watching a tv series if that makes any sense.

Okey zu, there are some interesting law implications here.

For one Ink is set on the idea that once you've left your time line, you can just settle in a new au right? Because you need to stay with your original coded purpose.

Cross says that the timeline is his. Does that mean that him and Dream aren't just on the timeline, but they have implanted themselves into the code of the timeline?

If that's the case then does that link to the adult aim universe. Idk if those two universes are the same cannon but these two are dead in atleast one. Is implanting themselves into the code of a new timeline the cause of stripping dream of his immortality perhaps.

Something is fishy there.

Also when ink talking about the true owner of the timeline is it aim? Is it because aim was born from Cross's soul. Or is it someone else perhaps.

Also looking back on past pages, did ink do something to Killer? I have a bad feeling that perhaps there's a reason that he was all glitches and broken up on a past page.

Digging deeper to the truth as always! (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)★ You see, these two has their own truth:

Ink considers Cross & Dream outcodes cause they once left their AUs and now don't belong anywhere, so any of their interventions is a violation (For example: Cross & Dream can't become part of Heaventale just because they stayed there, right? No HT!Cross/Dream is possible since they initially didn't belong there);

Cross believes that Dream & he are no longer outcodes cause they abandoned their original roles, intentionally settled in one timeline and thus became incodes (like, you can tell them apart from their original versions by their clothes, etc., they're not what they used to be).

Ink also claims that only a character created inside their world can be an incode, and that's Aim indeed (not so much because he's Cross' son; Ink doesn't believe in blood ties, they're all just creations for him, and Aim was created just for this “storyline”).

Adult!Aim's route may be one of the other timelines that aren't considered canon;

As for Dream's mortality, that's an interesting version, we'll be back to this issue :)

She bit her thumb as she waited. A huge bottle of cranberry juice later she’d had to wee like her life depended on it. And to be quite honest? It probably did. She had known there could be consequences shagging Sherlock not once but twice on his night of reprieve, but he had needed her and she couldn’t say no.

She’d never say no to him.

But now there were concrete consequences. She was two weeks late and had been feeling nauseous at the smell of coffee, leaving her with other forms of caffeine to stay awake. And here she was at John’s clinic, waiting for the results.

John came back in, scratching his chin. “Well, you’re definitely pregnant. I didn’t realize you were seeing anyone.”

“I’m not,” she said, panic hitting her hard.

“Molly, is there someone I can call for you? Do you need help telling your partner?”

She took a deep breath. “He’s dead. Well, sort of.”

John’s eyes widened. “Sherlock?” She nodded. “But you didn’t...he’s been dead longer than you’ve been pregnant. How?!?”

“That’s why I said ‘sort of.’ You have to act like nothing has changed, John. Mycroft is going to kill Sherlock and me, but I might as well dig myself in deeper since it’s all gone to shite anyway. Sit down.” Dazed, John did as she was told, and Molly began to pace in front of him. “Sherlock didn’t die on the roof. It was all an illusion. He’s off dismantling Moriarty's network of spies, informants and criminals.”

“Is Moriarty…?”

“Dead as a door-nail. I did the autopsy myself. He’s in an unmarked grave somewhere I’m not privy to. But he’s dead.”

“Oh.” John braced his hands together. “Then how...when did you and Sherlock…?”

“He came to visit me December 1st,” she said, wringing her hands. “things...happened. I wasn’t on the pill, we didn’t use protection, but yes. I haven’t seen or heard from him since, but I know he’s not dead dead. Mycroft would tell me.”

“Of course Mycroft knows,” John murmured. “So now you’re pregnant with my dead mate’s child after one night together, except he’s not dead and we’re the only ones who know you’re pregnant. Well, other than Mary.”

“Mary?”

“One of the nurses. She saw me look confused and asked what was going on.” He slumped in the chair and ran a hand over his lower face. “Do you want to keep the baby?”

“Of course I do!” she snapped, turning to face him head on. “He’ll come back. I just...he needs to know.”

“Yeah, and Mycroft needs to know too. You need more protection in case Moriarty’s crew figures out the truth.” He stood up and then he began to pace. “You need a boyfriend.”

“Pardon?”

“You need a secret boyfriend who will play along with the pregnancy. You can’t do it alone, Molly, not even with me and Mycroft knowing the truth.”

She thought for a moment. “There’s a man on my detail, Tom Harrington. He’s friendly with me, and he knows I’m in love with Sherlock.”

“Would Mycroft let him pretend to be your boyfriend, though?” John asked.

“Probably? I mean, this child is his family, too.” She shut her eyes as a wave of nausea swept over her.

“Bin is over here,” John said gently, leading her to the corner of the exam room.

“No, no, I’m fine. It just comes and goes.” She took a few deep breaths, in through her nose and out through her mouth, until the feeling subsided. “You are taking this well,” she said as she opened her eyes.

“It’s a big shock for me to find out Sherlock is still alive, yeah, but you’re pregnant with his child and no one outside of a select few can know. I’ll deal with it later. You need my support.”

“Oh, John, thank you,” she said, reaching over and embracing him. He hugged her back and they stood there a moment. “What do I do now?”

“We’ll go talk to Mycroft together. I can recommend you to a good obstetrician, and you can see me for regular check-ups. And I’ll make it a point to be more involved in your life. I think we can say I’ve moved on enough to pick up old friendships. But no matter what, Molly, you’re not alone, okay?”

“Okay,” she said, feeling tears well up in her eyes. John reached up and brushed them away, then hugged her again. Everything will be okay, she said to herself, trying to calm her nerves. I’m not alone. Everything will be just fine.

Ringedweavers Winter Year 100

Nearly all our second floor hobbitholes are carved out now. I've started putting some beds in. Hopefully we can get them furnished soon. Getting each of our dwarves a bedroom should provide mood boost.

This one has become a bit of a command burrow. It's technially Avuz and Amost's house. But Avuz isn't going to be expedition leader much longer.

This project has been going while. I've been trying to build a town hall/meeting house for the dwarves to give the admin staff offices, but progress on making the 100+ blocks needed is slow even with a managment system set up. I order ht building of more carpenters workshops

As winter settles in the snow becomes more frequent and the dwarves build a covered shelter for the carpenters workshops. It's cold outside.

The river freezes over and we dig out Bembul and prepare for Avuz's funeral. It's a bit grim, but well with the post-mood madness there's nothing that can be done to save her.

Building continues through the snow blizzards. One morning we find Avuz collapsed in someone's vegetable patch. The woodcrafter Reg Ledraz is named as her successor. She's buried a few weeks later, due to me not understanding how the new tombs system works. Well, that had better not have any knock-on effects.

Kogan erithartob enters a possessed mood! She's one of Edem's daughters.

I wait with baited breathe. Phew her demands are only for wood and wool cloth. All I need do I get a loom built...

The Gravel of Directing celebrates. The new cup is carefully stored in the communal meeting area.

Just before New Year Reg gives birth to a girl. Our population is 23 now.

May I ask which AU's you write for and everybody's names?

Hoo boy! That is going to be a long one! Definitely something I need to post, since it's been a while. My RULES page has information (that is still up to date as far as I can tell) but it's hard to find, so I'll copy/paste some things here. (I may also make a new one soon, since I can't remember how to edit the old one...)

Active AUs: Undertale, Underswap, Underfell, Swapfell, Horrortale, G!bros, Mobtale

Inactive AUs (available if you really want them but not generally in the rotation; will return for hugs): Mafiafell, Outertale, Dancetale, Oceantale, Farmtale

I set about half of the AUs as "inactive" last year before going on a hiatus. I am fine with bringing everybody back into the rotation now. There just wasn't a whole lot of demand for some of them.

Although I mainly write for the skeleton brothers, because that's who has come into my personal AU (The Best of All Timelines, where most non-fantasy RP here is set), I also write drabbles/prompts for other Undertale characters from the different AUs. I'll do any variation of most of the main UT cast (Toriel, Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, Alphys, Mettaton, Asgore,  Napstablook, Grillby, Muffet, and Gaster).

I have a number of fantasy settings that we occasionally visit. The in-universe story is that we have a magic VR video game that lets you co-dream with someone and experience a story. I think the links on the Index page still work. Let me know if things are broken and I'll try to fix them.

he meets with her bedroom door. the scent of rotting flesh got stronger. kathy gagged at the sudden strength of the smell. "amaya. i know that you are upset about mom dying, but please. you can't just stop eating for days, just because of her death. she's.. how do i say this. just gone forever." no response. not even shuffling or a single sound. just flies.

"..please." he frowned. "just work with me, i'm really trying my best here. i want to be the best brother i could." nothing. he swore she came home. he heard the door open on his audio recorder. but it disconnected seconds later. was it the battery?

he twisted the doorknob, praying it was unlocked. it was. the door creaked, opening slightly. "am?.." he said, his voice sounding panicked. he opens the door completely, but it was stopped by something that was in the way. he squeezed through the narrow space in the door. but halfway in, he heard a thud along with the door finally busting open.

"holy fuck. it smells like something's rotting in here." he gags again, shutting the door. it felt so cold.. it's dim and he's afraid of looking away, but he looks back at the door, the bottom being splotched with.. dried blood. or he "hoped" so. he looked to his left.

blood. lots of it. a knife. the window was left ajar.

"no no no NO NO!" his hands balled into fists, his nails digging into his palms. he slammed the floorboards, sobbing violently. "i'm so fucking sorry.." he mumbled, looking up at the corpse. "i'm so sorry i couldn't be the greatest brother. i'm sorry i couldn't be the brother you wanted or would've loved to have.." he choked on his words, continuing to sob. he fell next to her corpse. "i'm sorry.. i'm sorry.. i'm sorry.." he repeated. he heard a loud ringing noise, repeating those words faster and faster as the ringing got louder.

rory startled awake. he wiped his eyes, his bandages brushing against his half dried tears and wiping the remains. he was having those stupid dreams again.. he wanted to make it stop. he wished it would never come back to his brain again. he wanted to forget what happened. looking around the room, he sees enoch right there.

"..how much?" rory questions. confused, enoch responds with "what? what do you mean?" he sighs and repeats. "how much of that did you hear?" the room became silent after. he sighs and gets up. "just forget it. we have work to do here. i don't want to get fired or yelled at again."

phillip island 2007, casey's first home win and circa his millionth win that season, by which point casey is already not happy with valentino's behaviour towards him. we've got a shake of the hands that's not really visible on camera due to the angle, followed by a classic chest pat. then there's them chatting on the way to the podium and valentino making... some kind of joke with a bit of body language I am completely unable to parse. he looks like he's suggesting throwing himself off the balcony, which I imagine isn't the case but, look. idk

donington 2008, already included above (the photo with valentino's arm around casey's shoulder) and discussed more here - worrying race from valentino's pov in that it's a proper return to 2007 form for casey. about as fast as you can do a handshake given they're both barely off the bike

sachsenring 2008, casey's third consecutive win, very much the time to start sounding the alarms for valentino as it looks like this title might slip away from him. now, obviously what valentino does in response to this threat is not something casey is a big fan of, but after the race at sachsenring they do manage to keep things cordial at least

mugello 2009, casey's the championship leader and has just taken the win at valentino's beloved home circuit, which valentino had won at since 2002. does this count as polite

phillip island 2009, valentino challenges casey for the win for most of the race but can't ever quite get past him. they hug in parc fermé feat. a bit of a helmet caress and are again perfectly civil on the podium

sachsenring 2010, can't include any parc fermé photos since the fight was for third place - but crucially they did shake hands and also valentino like? almost poked casey's eye out? at a time when their relationship was tonally going off the cliff edge in the media

indianapolis 2011, mostly just included for the curio value given they were actively feuding feuding each other by this point and valentino doesn't actually have any good reason to be shaking casey's hand (he was decidedly not on the podium and had been struggling with a gearbox problem that meant he was constantly somehow on neutral, almost retired a few times... like you'd expect him to be in a horrendous mood really)

could include more examples but hopefully this should suffice. the point isn't that valentino didn't change his tone towards casey or that relations between them didn't get chillier or any of that - it's that it's just extremely casey to retroactively read valentino being polite to him at qatar 2007 as valentino being condescending due to how little he rated him. buddy, he's polite to you when you win races!! consistently so! valentino has plenty of ways of being a dick to his rivals, but 'being a sore loser right after losing a race to them' is categorically NOT one of them. it's just not his approach at all! but as ever, casey is attempting to reckon with the mismatch between character and person, almost as if he'd prefer to simplify things in his mind. always ready to read malice into everything and everyone around him, rarely more so than when dealing with valentino

while valentino's civility to casey can be read as part of a deliberate approach to keep the conflict between them fairly muted for as long as possible, it's also a bit of a case of... well, if you're primed to read everything your competitor does as mind games, then everything they do will look an awful lot like mind games. like casey thinking valentino was deliberately hiding what tyre compound he was racing with when bridgestone had run out of paint. and of course, if you need any more evidence that casey sometimes has a bit of an odd recollection of his rivalry with valentino - look no further than the blood red bike casey remembered being "covered" in yellow. even the idea that valentino was all that dismissive of casey before casey started winning everything is... well I can't find any suggestion of it, and also feels like it actively clashes with casey Heavily Implying that valentino blocked him from yamaha. casey also believes that valentino put dodgy moves on him in practise and races in 2006 - you might put dodgy moves on someone in races for the hell of it, but doing that in practise to a rookie essentially amounts to a form of hazing, right. this is not the behaviour of someone who doesn't rate the talented new kid on the block... but that's how casey seems to remember it

it is SO notable for how much of that rivalry they were interpersonally warm with each other, because it's such a contrast to valentino's other feuds... tells you a lot, not least that casey's emotional investment in that rivalry was considerably more pronounced. casey is the one documenting the slights, casey is the one who does not forgive and forget, casey is the one who is most willing to escalate the verbal hostilities. so, yes, going by the evidence available, I reckon casey was absolutely overthinking a lot of valentino's behaviour towards him. including his quite frankly undeniable habit of consistently leaning towards casey on podiums. let's discuss

Angry & sadden about the news I heard this morning about Syria 🇸🇾, couldn't believe what I was reading from the main stream media "Assad has been overthrow" did some digging and sure enough it was true. History just keeps repeating itself, I hope Syrians understand what's coming, for those who are celebrating that Assad is gone really don't know what's coming & for those who cry they do. They need to learn from what happened to Iraq & Libya. Christians, Druze, Kurds and alawites are terrified being ruled by the HTS. Unfortunately i really think Syria will meet the same fate as iraq or even worse like Libya. I worried what's come in the middle east, Syria is going to be more destabilize, Lebanon is going to be isolated/blocked & eventually be attacked by Israel, & the people of Palestine.... well I rather not say, but I hope I I'm wrong!
