We could make Sqq a transformer in his past life. Like optimus prime sorta transformer. Cybertronian.

He'd be the only surviving seeker (winged guy) on the autobots side (I don't know all the canons but I don't think they have, like, any). Pretty young when the war started - unfathomably ancient for humans, the kiddie of the group to them.

And he arrives on earth. Discovers the Internet. Immediately gets hooked on critiquing stupid Web novels in every language, which being a sentient machine he can do at great speed without forgetting anything. Decides to read the final chapter during a battle because he's so close to the end and airplane had better pull SOMETHING good. Is so infuriated (distracted) by the ending he messes up and immediately gets killed by some low level decepticon. After FIVE MILLION years of war he gets offed by some loser over a stupid human story that wasn't even very good. He dies SO furious.

And then he gets reborn a human.

He is, as the kids say, big mad.

What if she tried to make friends with Toralei and started to talk about Catty bc she knew that Toralei's into music and found out that Toralei also loves Catty and they talked about her all day... What if they started to talk about Catty more and more often and made merch to swap and planned to go on a concert together and all that plus other, additional things like Clawdeen helping Toralei with her mom made Toralei falll in love with Clawdeen... What if, once Catty joins the school, Toralei isn't nearly as excited as she would be before meeting Clawdeen because she's jealous that Clawdeen isn't paying as much attention to her anymore AND she's subconsciously worried that Clawdeen will start dating Catty and she won't have a chance to confess anymore... considering paxton's simple advice to fabiola - make the first move and what you say doesn't matter. how you say it is everything - and though fab herself doesn't get to make good on that advice, fabiola and aneesa nonetheless manage to overcome their weird tension with straightforward honesty.

considering you showed me what not to do and aneesa seeing ben's unwillingness to put himself all the way out there making him miserable as reason to offer that straightforward honesty to fab.

considering the way that feeds into ben being a very deliberate antithesis to paxton's proven-successful relationship advice, with his version of making the first move the indirect insertion of himself into devi's path and his how you say it mode of choice being constant negging that thinly-yet-effectively veils his true feelings.

and

he wants to kiss her so bad it makes him look stupid, but he is waiting for devi to fail at finding another option before he makes his move. he needs the plausible deniability, because if it's just a game they're playing, he doesn't have to chance getting his heart broken again. it's an insecurity-fulfilling feedback loop and the perfect way for him to both live in the hope of possibility and the heartache of rejection and i am eating it up with a silver fucking spoon.

i really do believe that duck likes and cares for yellow btw. i think duck is just like that. he treats red so similarly to how he treats yellow and he sees them as family. considering how spitefully consistently negatively he treats duncan + warren, duck is more than capable of being meaner than he is to his friends.

i think duck is just on such a different emotional and mental plane (from both yellow+red+general high empathy ppl) that thats how he expresses his feelings.

this is just my own impression though. and i am like... super autistic.
