this is my hundredth post i never thought this my journey would turn out like it did ?!

It's about going from the bottom to the top - from paying with food stamps to paying with hundred dollar bills (the new ones have a blue stripe, "blue hunnids" or "blue hunnits").

Thank you for this correction— I was doing it by ear because I don’t have all of his lyrics memorized. I think this context and analysis is a great addition. In the context of his performance though (as I’ve been trying to show by sharing notes people have put on the reblogs) there have been a lot of different takeaways from these lines and I think many of them are valid, especially given the overarching Great American Game theme. I know there were several people who mentioned it made them think of Confederate/Union dichotomy as well.
