Recently, I've just moved and are now starting a new fresh. The problem is, I'm leaving behind my friends whom i just started bonding for like, 5 months, but they've become more than my family. I still can't overcome the feeling of missing them and regretting my choice and I haven't told anyone abt these. So I've started doing some extra activities that reminds me of my old days with them, including the good memories and the bad ones. I have the confidence in overcoming my feelings, but I still couldn't shake off this feeling of anxiety, depression and loneliness. Like, everything I'm doing felt wrong. I'm still not sure who to vent to, and this could calm me a little.

I was hoping if your could do an Ikesen fic of how he would comfort me, bc the only time I could distract myself is when I'm reading abt my fav suitors. I'll understand if you won't write this, so pls don't get pressure.

Oh, and my comfort character is Kanetsugu btw. Mitsuhide is my husbando ^^

Mitsuhide looked over the wagons with interest. Everything they would need from his manor in Azuchi was packed now, along with the supplies they would need for their journey. It felt strange to know his life could fit into these wagons so neatly, as if he’d never been here. 

The only thing missing was his little mouse. She wasn’t near the wagons or anywhere in sight. 

He walked through the halls and rooms slowly, an odd sense of disconnection welling unexpectedly in his chest. There was nothing of him left here. Nothing of the life he now shared with the chatelaine. It was as if he’d never existed, as if his memories were mere wishful fictions. 

The intensity of the feeling surprised him. He had not thought to miss this place. 

As Mitsuhide turned a corner, he spotted his little one. She stood on a balcony overlooking the Azuchi castle courtyard. There were people moving around below. He spotted Masamune and Keiji joking with some soldiers. Mitsunari hurrying along with an armful of books. Hideyoshi helping a made carry kitchen supplies. 

She was watching them so intently that she didn’t notice Mitsuhide come up behind her. Tears slid down her cheeks, catching the afternoon sunlight. Her lips were pressed to a thin line, holding back any sound. 

It hurt him to see her like this. Not because she was sad, but that she tried to hide it from him. Refusing to share the burden. He knew it was one of the ways she tried to protect him - to guard his heart - but he wanted to be the one she could share anything with. Good and bad and all that lay between.

Mitsuhide put his arm around her as he came up to stand at her side. 

She didn’t say anything at first, just leaned against him. They stood like that for several moments more. Just watching the life below.

“I’m going to miss them all so much.” The words quietly punctured the silence, barely louder than a sigh.

“I will as well.” It surprised him to find that this was true. He’d always told himself the other warlords were co-workers. Tools to reach toward his ideals. Pawns. But . . . they were friends. People that had laid their marks across his heart. And he would miss seeing them each day.

She wrapped her arms around him, turning from the view to bury her face into the folds of his kimono. “I-it’s stupid to cry about it. I know.”

He held her tightly. “It is not.”

“B-but they are all going to be ok. W-we can visit. Write.”

“We can.”

“But it isn’t the same.” She wiped her at her face.

Mitsuhide pressed a kiss to the top of her head. “It won’t be.”

She sniffed. “That’s not very comforting.”

“Isn’t it?” He smiled as gently as he knew how. “Everything changes, little one.”

“Well. I don’t want it to.” She sighed. “What if we could just stay? Nobunaga would let us.”

Mitsuhide nodded. “He would. But then the life we could live together in Fukuchiyama will never happen.” He kissed her temple. “We can stay, if that is what you really want.”

“I . . . no . . . we already packed and - and everyone expects us to go.”

“None of that matters to me as much as you do.” 

She looked up again, meeting his eyes. 

He could see her emotions, the fear and anxiety, sadness for parting, excitement for new possibilities . . . this and more churned in the confines of her spirit. Mitsuhide held her tightly, knowing that she would take comfort from his touch more than his words.

“Sometimes I wish you would just tell me what I have to do.” She sighed. “But I’m glad, I guess, to have a say.”

“What will it be, little one? Shall we stay? Or are we going?”

His little mouse took a breath. “We should go. I know I will miss everyone here. All the friends I’ve made. The life we built in Azuchi. But . . . there will be good things in Fukuchiyama too. I hope.”

“And we will have each other, wherever we are.” Mitsuhide lifted her just enough to kiss her. A gentle, slow kiss that held all the love he had to give her. 

As the wagons left behind, Mitsuhide held tight to his lover’s hand. There would be sorrow, where they were going. But there would also be joy. They would face whatever came next together.

Just in a mood to recite some Ryan Parker moments I like for some reason back when I watched NP [which is only during NP 2.0].

I definitely won't sort them in order of when these moments happened, 'cause I have no clue when some of these moments happened in the hours upon hours of content.

While hunting after the man that killed George- a Lost MC biker- with Cat and Paddy, Cat got Ryan to think up a safe word in case Ryan somehow got found by this guy and were about to be in trouble, to which they decided the safe word would be ~princess~.

Another moment connected to the one above was how Ryan would be driving up and down the highway- 'cause the murderer was the Highway Man or something I don't quite remember- on his war Banshee. Some cops were undercover in a truck- trying to investigate this same murder- and were surprised when Ryan of all people are driving quickly up to them, making sure whoever drove the truck was okay as this Highway Man (I think) were also targetting truck drivers.

Another another moment connected to the two above was how- after finally the Lost got that Highway Man with the help of Dundee- Ryan wanted to torture the guy with a god damn lockpick. 'Cause listen, my man's usually a pacifist that rarely uses guns or weapons, but he will fuck you up if you fucked with those he considers family.

Ryan and OTT being trauma brothers friends after the Lost MC vs CKR war, considering they both got kidnapped and tortured by the opposite side in a war neither of them wanted to be a part of but had to be a part of. Also how- during the time the Lost needed mats [materials] for stuff and OTT had a fuckton of it- OTT would only sell his mats to Ryan (in the Lost).

Irwin Dundee helping Ryan get out of the Lost compound ('cause he was accidentally locked in and were starting to panic) after the Yellowjack meeting between the Lost MC and CKR- that happened riiight before that war started.

Rudi standing up for Ryan- during the job interview to become Matthew Payne's assistant- after months of either blaming Ryan for the war (between Lost MC and CKR) or just not wanting to be near him. It was just really nice and satisfying. That and how Ryan ended up knocking out his competitor after (I think) Matthew said the two should have a fight to see who gets the job.

While they were driving their motorcycles after the speeches in the funeral (to the Lost MC bikers that died during that war I keep mentioning), Reid asked Ryan if he wanted to say a speech too back there. Ryan answered how he did want to, but he didn't want to upset Rudi, so he opted against it. And then Reid just telling him how he should've done it anyways, even if it would've upset Rudi. Idk, just the husbandos being comforting to eachother is always so nice to watch.

Also, Ryan and Reid just driving together in the most ridicolous car the former has [station wagons, drift wagons, small but fast cars, etc.] to "train" new cops in driving pursuits, which will include fun bantering and singing to whatever 2000s pop song they got.

Ryan, Gazz and Lucy's "SHOW ME YOURS TINTS" line when the three decided to go and have some fun doing small crimes together to try not to worry too much about Reid being in the ICU.

Ryan just being drunk with his friends- Erin, Vivi and Luther- and singing pop songs after finding the dreaded E G G.

Ryan doing some racing while Rudi was sitting passenger, to which the latter would encourage the former to spin out the other racers or just make them crash (which Ryan ofc didn't do).

Ryan winning (or getting 2nd place, I can't quite remember) a race despite 1. All of his tires being popped by spikestrips, and 2. Some cop cars being behind him, trying to make his car stop (to no avail).

Watching most gangs just treat Ryan nicely 'cause they either like him as a person, like him as a business man/old lady of the Lost, or just don't want to piss off the businesses he's part of/the Lost and other gangs that like him.

Honestly, anytime Ryan's racing or trying to escape cops is fun as hell to watch.

Can't think of anything else atm, but I might add on more moments when I remember them 🚶

I love the Otaku todoroki and Bakugou hc's! Maybe part 2 where they meet the characters voice actor and they look EXACTLY like the character and the bois are like 😳😳😳 HAVE I BEGGED GOD ENOUGH FOR HIM TO TURN MY ANIME CRUSH REAL and maybe the voice actor asks them out on a date sksksk— lol love your writing! (you don't have to do this btw, just a suggestion! 💕)

My first thought was the webtoon True Beauty 😳😳 I don't know if you guys know it, but it’s a great story (and free to read online!) and the author is kinda infamous for looking exactly like her MC!! Though Iida’s VA, Kaito Ishikawa, 👀 👀 looks exactly like his character IMO!!

The headcanons in question are here, and since the character is already referred to as [Name], I’ll be referring to the voice actor as [V/A] only, but it’s still the reader 😊😊.

“Shitty Half-and-half.” 

“Bakugou,” Todoroki replied, turning fully to face his former classmate. Several years had passed since they both confronted each other over Todoroki’s [Name] acrylic charm, and even now, both Pro-Heroes deep into their careers, their love for the anime character never waned. 

The series had finished up during their last year at U.A., leaving both boys a mess while Aizawa could only wish that he was able to nurse his headache with half a bottle of ibuprofen. Todoroki mourned the fact that they were able to defeat the last arc’s antagonist at the cost of [Name]’s powers leading to their ultimate retirement and Bakugou raged from the ambiguous epilogue where [Name] was seen laying their head on the protagonist’s shoulder while looking out into the sunset.  

“Don’t play dumb with me, you damned trust fund kid,” Bakugou spat, pushing himself off the spot where he leaned against the wall and striding over to the taller male. He had filled out in the past several years, nothing but toned biceps and broad shoulders. “You’re thinking exactly what I’m thinking.” 

“What?” Todoroki asked innocently. His time with Uraraka had paid off, but the cutesy look would only let him get so far. Bakugou was eye-to-eye with his “eternal” rival. Todoroki had only gotten taller recently. Still slender and toned, he was nearly his father’s height and had already surpassed Natsuo. 

“Might Con.” Bakugou really had grown from the way he didn’t rage from Todoroki’s feigned ignorance. “You’re going to be there aren’t you?” 

Todoroki froze. 

The blond smirked at his expression. “I know for a damned fact that your manager scheduled your panel at the exact same time my panel is held —” 

“We’re hosting the panel together with Midoriya, Bakugou —” Todoroki tried to say.   

“At the exact same time as [Name]’s fucking seiyuu’s autograph session, huh?” 

At Bakugou’s words, both boys were at a standstill. 

Due to the popularity of the anime, the voice actors were going to have their schedules jam-packed the entire con with panels, interviews, and meet-and-greets, but due to scheduling conflicts, every voice actor was allowed only one autograph session at a time. Bakugou didn’t care about any of those other shitty extras. He only wanted to meet [Name]’s seiyuu. 

The voice actor was infamous for hiding their face during the anime’s run, only doing radio shows or paper interviews. They cited that since they were still a minor by the time the anime came out, they wanted to preserve their privacy, but now that they were of age, they were going to reveal their face at the con for the first time. 

But they couldn’t make it. Their entire Pro-Hero career was stabbing itself in the back. 

He held a hand out. 

“If one of us can’t see [Name]’s voice actor the other can’t.”

It was otaku solidarity.  

After a pause Todoroki reached out and shook it once. “Fine.” The two boys dropped their hands as fast as it came. 

Yeah. 

Not. 

Todoroki Shoto: 

Tries to go incognito, but he sucks at it. 

He’s wearing shades indoors to hide his heterochromia and his scar, a bucket hat to hide his half-and-half hair, and he’s wearing regular, but not so inconspicuous clothes. 

Once he gets to the front of the line, he nearly drops his gigantic load of [Name] merch. If it weren’t for the fact that he’s a Pro, he would’ve needed a wagon to carry the entire thing. 

His face immediately flushes. 

You’re wearing glasses and a large sweater while smiling and waving happily at the last fan that walked away. His mind is seeing every equation. You look exactly like the High School spin-off your mangaka made after the protagonist wished that everyone was able to live normal lives.   

He stutters out, “C-Cosplay...?” softly the moment he gets to your table. 

This dude is blushing so hard his face is as red as his hair. 

Were you a secret love child, perhaps? 

You brighten up and laugh. “Oh, wow — you have a lot of merch,” you laugh and he nearly swoons. “And oh, no! I just look like this normally.” 

He mentally thanks his mom for giving birth to him. 

You compliment him on his casual Idol!Shoto cosplay and he’s so embarrassed that he nearly lets go of the left side of his Quirk. 

“Yeah! You make such a handsome Shoto!” You use your [Name] voice to say, “I love you, Shoto-kun!” and he nearly dies right there. 

He uncharacteristically even puts his face into his hands ;; and just screams internally. 

You hold up your pen and look at him with such wide eyes and ;;; YOU’RE SO FUCKING CUTE!! 

None of the fanfictions have ever prepared him for this. 

[“So who should I put these out to?” 

He inhales once and quickly goes, “Todoroki, please. Written with the character for ‘a roaring fire.’ I have admired [Name] since their character introduction arc and felt a bond from [Name]’s tragic history and my own. I hated my father for the longest time and wanted to forage my own path similar to [Name] and they gave me strength —”] 

You fight to keep the largest grin off your face, but then the door busts open and in walks Ground Zero. The security are all scrambling to stop him, but he barrels through them like dominoes. 

[”HALF-AND-HALF!!” 

“Oh, Bakugou —” 

“I FUCKING KNEW THAT YOU WOULD BE HERE WHEN YOU DIDN’T SHOW UP TO YOUR OWN DAMNED PANEL!!” 

Bakugou takes him by the collar and his shades and hat falls and everyone’s immediately fangirl shrieking as Bakugou forcefully drags him away. 

“Wait, Bakugou — ! My dakimakura — !“ 

“Fuck that!”] 

After his panel, he’s smugly going through all of the merch you were able to autograph with Bakugou sulking in the corner because he managed to go and Bakugou didn’t and he nearly drops his figurine when he realizes what you wrote in the corner of the box. 

“You seem pretty cute, handsome stranger! ;) XXX-XXXX-XXXX” 

He discharges his Quirk and Bakugou could be heard shouting, “WHAT THE HELL, HALF-AND-HALF!” in the background. 

Bakugou Katsuki: 

He doesn’t even bother hiding the fact that he’s there. Everyone’s so stunned by the fact that the Ground Zero is just storming through the autograph session that the autograph line splits like the Red Sea and he goes right up to you. 

When he sees your face he just stops in his place and he does the face above for like five whole seconds. 

Did he die and go to heaven? 

WAS THAT NOT T H E [SURNAME] [NAME] SITTING IN FRONT OF HIM???

AND YOU LOOK SO SOFT!! Who gave you the motherfucking right to look so cute??? You look exactly like the panel in volume twenty-one, page 105 where [Name] were first seen wearing glasses. (Yes, ofc he remembers the exact page and volume. What was he, a fake fan?)

He didn’t have a thing for megane 😳😳😳 until [Name].

[“You...You fucking look exactly like [Name],” he manages to stutter out. 

You blink out of your stupor at the Ground Zero at your autograph session because your manager just elbows you at your side and you nod quickly like an idiot. 

“Y-Yeah!” You laugh nervously. “Hahaha, I guess that’s why they chose me to be the voice actor, you know because the voice matches the face — or-or is it the face matches the voice??” The two of you have matching red faces. “I-I even have a Quirk like their’s!” You hold up your hand and activate your Quirk slightly and he goes still.] 

H-His wifu/husbando... in the flesh... 

All those years of reading metas and watching analysis videos and calculating the compatibility of your Quirks are coming into fuCKING FRUITION!! 

And he just grabs your hand out of nowhere, running on pure instinct, wrapping his hand around yours in a vice grip like a claw game and the both of you freeze. 

”S-So what would you like me to sign??” you say quickly because he’s holding up the line, but everyone else is watching his go down like a soap opera. 

He asks you to sign the manga. The first volume, the volume where you’re introduced, and the last volume. 

[“They fucking did [Name] dirty in the series finale,” he says while you sign the manga for him. “They don’t belong with the pissy protagonist.” 

“Yeah?” you ask, looking up at him. You gesture for him to lean closer and he does while you whisper in his ear. “Between you and me I don’t ship them either.” You lean back in your chair. “I don’t think the mangaka developed their relationship enough for me to root for them. Personally, I think that that they should just settle down with someone who’s going to make them happy and protect them — “ 

“I can do that.” 

“What,” you blurt out. 

“What,” he replies.] 

He’s in such a daze that when Deku and Shoto barge into the autograph signing and drag him away he doesn’t even fight back. 

HE WANTED SENPAI TO NOTICE HIM BUT NOT LIKE THIS!! 

Even through his panel that he nearly missed btw he’s so confused. Equations are spinning around his head. 

When he finally has free time and looks at the manga you signed, it read, “Ground Zero, you’re my favorite Hero! Glad you liked the anime! Wanna talk about it some more? XXX-XXXX-XXXX”

Akatsuki no Yona Chapter 170 Spoilers - “Front Lines”

it’s been a million years but I have the chapter and already started translating so I figured I’d throw up some pics!

Warning: a good percentage of these are Zeno pics, because I’m biased and love him. Also, I can’t take pictures worth a shit.

We start out with the battle progressing, Kouka is gaining the upper hand... but Kuel-bo is still smiling. Now that the Thunder Beast’s come out to play, he starts to move toward the front lines, and Yoon notes how the troops’ morale rises as soon as he does.

We then cut to the dragons fighting.

Kija and Jae-ha go at it for a bit, before Kija remarks, a bit annoyed, that Jae-ha seems to think he’s weak enough for Jae-ha to go easy on him.

Jae-ha’s facial expression in response is complicated.

Shin-ah is distracted by their fight, and Zeno takes the opportunity to knock him back, and then jump on him, so he can whisper to Shin-ah. They’re trying to prolong the fight as much as possible, to try to find an opportunity to escape and rescue Yoon, so Shin-ah needs to hit Zeno so the fight can continue.

Shin-ah goes “nuh-uh I don wanna.”

Zeno uses the infinite patience he has learned from his 2000 years of being alive and tries to reason with Shin-ah, because they need to keep the fight going.

Shin-ah: NUH-UH.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Zeno so, just... pissed before. It’s amazing. He’s not even enraged, he’s just annoyed because Shin-ah won’t cut him with his sword, or even punch him. Their argument gets more heated until even the soldiers keeping guard on Zeno and Jae-ha are like, uh, what?

Jae-ha thinks it’s hilarious. Zeno, decidedly less so.

The moment is interrupted by the sound of soldiers, excited by Kuel-bo’s arrival to the front lines.

We switch to Yona, being kept prisoner, who is brought food by Kuel-bo’s wife, who tells her that she won’t be able to escape. Yona brings up that Kuel-bo may not come back from battle.

The wife is very protective of her husbando, and gets in an argument with Yona about how great and admirable a man Kuel-bo is, and Yona ALMOST gets in a fight about how much cooler and better Hak is but restrains herself.

The wife also feels bad about losing her cool, and apologizes. Yona thinks it’s odd how polite she’s being, but the wife explains that Yona is to be the new goddess of war, so she deserves quite a bit of respect. Also, in the Tully tribe, first wives are supposed to help take care of second wives.

Yona: ...nani

Yeah, so apparently this wife is assuming that Yona is going to be Kuel-bo’s second wife. Yona is like, haha, no, also? Not going to be the goddess of war. Ever.

They reach an accord and seem to grow a small respect for each other, so that’s go--

--ooooddammit Gobi. He’s like a cockroach. I took this picture because 1) Yona’s face and 2) damn Kuel-bo’s wife is gorgeous.

Back at the battlefield, Kuel-bo has now found Hak, who has a case of the “murder everything that comes into my sight”s, at which point Kuel-bo says, “so hey, is Yona your woman?” and Hak immediately snaps out of it, because what kind of stupid question is that.

It comes out to the general crowd of Fire Tribe soldiers that Kuel-bo kidnapped the dragons and Yona, and just as Kuel-bo is gloating about how he has them now...

Welp, there goes the wagon.

Hak isn’t done being murdery yet!

They fight a little, and Hak demands to know what he’s done with the dragons and with the princess (”hime-san”). Kuel-bo recalls that that’s the exact phrase she forbade him to call her by, and asks Hak why she would do that.

Hak’s response is, “how the hell would I know?!”

Kuel-bo’s response is...

Can’t tell if contemplation or “I haven’t even been following this romance for the last 170 chapters but even I can see it, how stupid are you two.”

And then the chapter ends! Next chapter on 2/20.

QUESTION 1. What has been your favorite scene in the comic so far? What specifically did you like about it?

1. My favorite scenes have been where Aoi tries to recreate Neguri-senpai in various forms of media. I found the video game one particularly funny X') I really like the contrast of how proud Aoi is of her creation but how off they are from the original. It reminds me of how much I loved all my badly drawn husbando fan art as a kiddo. http://neguri-senpai.blogspot.com/2019/02/neguri-senpai-new-game.html?m=1 2. I think Aoi's eavesdropping and creeping on Sana when it comes to Neguri-senpai is pretty relatable. I definitely have felt a similar anxiety about perceived romantic rivals in the past. I think the strip where it turns out Sana was just talking about her cat is a really good example of this. http://neguri-senpai.blogspot.com/2019/01/neguri-senpai-what-did-you-just-say.html?m=1 As far as reflecting on life and media goes, while I think the feeling captured rings true to life, it also makes me kind of bummed that these two's relationship is just fighting over a guy (who I assume is unattainable since he's a teacher? But then again who knows since it's playing on manga tropes). I feel like that kind of angst is common for the teenage girl experience, but I also wonder if part of that is because it's a trope that's so reinforced by media that it just becomes expected. Anyways, two girls fighting over a guy makes me sad if I think about it too long. This has been my TED talk.

3. I think Sana is my favorite character. Maybe exclusively for her goth socks XD Aoi is also very good. 4. Man, my only experience with JoJo is the one episode I watched and all the Twitter memes so I feel like most of those jokes are probably lost on me TuT I do really love whenever someone yells NANI??? though XD I laughed a little every time reading through. I also don't get a lot of the coding jokes, but the ones I do understand have really landed home

1) My favorite strip so far I think is this one http://neguri-senpai.blogspot.com/2019/08/neguri-senpai-alone-on-roof.html where Aoi is suspiciously summoned to the roof but whoops, nope, it's just for a picture. I really like how this strip plays with the Japanese school roof trope cause it makes the comedic payoff that much sweeter when it's not any romantic or delinquent things. 2) A strip I found super relatable about going to school was this one http://neguri-senpai.blogspot.com/2019/07/neguri-senpai-finals.html where all the girls are discussing whether or not they failed a test. I think basically everyone has done that after a test, regardless of confidence, so it's just one of those moments that I think is universally connecting. I do not miss the stress of worrying about passing or failing a test. XD In terms of reflection, it did make me think that of all the school tropes media messes up, this is actually one that is very spot on to what real life is like, which is pretty rare. Yet, makes for good comedy because of this quality of being universally relatable.

3) My favorite character at the moment is probably Aoi. I just like how earnest she is, how crazy day dreamy, and how enthusiastic she is. It's the perfect combo where even her personality flaws really seem endearing, so I want to see her achieve happiness. 4) My favorite so far was this one where Aoi thought of Speedwagon: http://neguri-senpai.blogspot.com/2019/05/neguri-senpai-i-need-man-like-that.html While I don't know a whole lot about Jojo having been banned from watching it, my boyfriend really loves Jojo. So through him there is one fact I do know, and that's Speedwagon is a beloved character. So it really made me smile to see this show up in the comic and be proven true. XD In terms of what the comic teaches about how pop culture can be used for comedy, I think the biggest lesson is that it's a double-edged sword. If the people know what it being referenced, immediately creates that connection that's needed for comedy. But on the flip side, all those references will fall flat if the person doesn't know the references. So it's great to use, but also gonna be hitting some really niche audiences.

5) My fave composition is the last panel from this strip http://neguri-senpai.blogspot.com/2019/03/neguri-senpai-judgement.html WHat can I saw? I'm a big fan of angles and the whole dark overshadow thing to bring that nice oppressive atmosphere. It really sells the joke. 6) Until the end of the comic, I think the only date Aoi will get will be a joke one. Like one of those ones where she tots think she's going on a date but nah, Neguri Senpai just wanted her for some mundane reason. Like running errands for the school. But I do feel overall if and when the comic ends, it'll be on a happy note with Aoi getting with Neguri Senpai. If only cause there is no comedic rival yet after Aoi.

1. I actually really loved the lovingly recreated video game version of Neguri-San who dies five minutes later, as I found it to be the most relatable. I too take five hundred hours in character creation only to remember I have no hand-eye coordination. Also, I was quite glad when they showed Neguri-San’s younger self, because until that moment I thought he was another student and so I was quite confused. Not the dynamic I personally go for but it cleared up so much of my confusion. 2. When they’re all on the beach comparing bodies and Aoi’s like “but how will I compete with someone built so beautiful?” Man that was a MOOD. Been in a committed relationship almost 9 years though so I guess I figured it out. Also, if that’s foreshadowing Aoi’s eventual fall for Sana, that would be the best. 3. Sana is my favorite, because she plays off Aoi so well and seems like a capable and headstrong young woman. She’s really fun to watch. 4. The speed wagon joke was hilarious and you cannot change my mind. Also, wish I understood a lick of coding. 5. The strip when Aoi and Sana were in the classroom and Aoi was staring menacingly? Honestly? The best use of comedic tension that I saw. 6. I highly doubt it. She’s a student, and while it’s cute of her to have a crush, it would be inappropriate for it to be reciprocated. 7. I really enjoy Sana and Aoi interacting. I find their rivalry the most interesting, because Sana seems the most capable rival. She’s smart, she’s driven, and it’ll probably come to a final showdown with her. Also, her stand actually got me to nose exhale, which doesn’t sound like much, but before noon it is a monumental feat. I’d love to see them more directly interacting rather than talking about each other. and heck, maybe they’ll be the couple in the end. Love a good rivals to something more story. 8. Honestly I’m not too big a fan of wall breaks, but it does give me a chuckle every time they blame the author.

9. I think the layout is really funny. This comic wouldn't have worked as well with a "traditional" print-style format. The jokes are well-paced, too, something we don't often think about when we (well, I) read commics! 10. WHAT ARE STICKY KEYS FOR? I know them as the annoying suggestion that pops up everytime I use my shift key too much... In general, I can feel a lot of the programming jokes fly right over my head, which is too bad, but that probably just means that I wasn't ever the intended target audience anyway. And that's okay. 7) I think I enjoy seeing Aoi interact with Sana. They just have a really cute but funny comedic rivalry that is enjoyable to see unfold. Even when they aren't directly talking to one another their attitudes towards each other is pretty entertaining in itself, which is always a good sign. 8) I really enjoy the merch plug strip http://neguri-senpai.blogspot.com/2019/06/neguri-senpai-what-big-number.html if only because Aoi's face and reaction to that is hilarious and seeing Neguri Senpai enthusiastic about something just...it's laughs all around. Which while there are certainly comic's that do fourth wall breaks like this for self promo, I find this comic to be a bit unique just cause of its execution of the comedy. It doesn't really toe the line with what it is (which is something I see a lot), so I appreciate the energy of upfront in the face nature about it.

9) I really like all the little programming inserts in the comic. Like a lot fo the jokes surrounding them are so specific that I think for a lot of people they fly under the radar. But I like the accuracy for them. It's like that sort of niche inclusion that doesn't hurt the other comedy but really adds a nice chuckle factor for when you do recognize the joke being made. 10) And speaking of the above, my favorite one was definitely this one: http://neguri-senpai.blogspot.com/2019/03/neguri-senpai-judgement.html I have been on both sides of that situation before, and like the accuracy is on point. You're always going to judge people for their code editor of choice regardless of language involved. But I like that even if you don't specifically understand that part about it, it's still relateable in that one of them is being singled out for a potentially bad choice in a comedic manner. So just all around, A+ for that strip.

Oh man, this comic is a lot of fun. He's seen as this god by all the girls, yet he's awkward and almost a literal blank slate character. That sort of subtle humor is just really funny to me, so he's my pick.

I think the comic's biggest strength is, for lack of a better word, how bizarre it is. Like the comic does have recurring themes of course (programming jokes, pop culture references, parodies of the school romance genre), but in terms of each individual strip I have no way of predicting what'll happen next.

11) I have to agree with @snuffysam here on strengths. I think the comic is just extremely unique. Like individually you can find aspects in other comics, but all together it makes for a one-of-a-kind experience you cant really predict. And unpredictability is good for this sort of comic since its keeps things interesting. 12) It's definitely gotta be Sana imo. I think even if Neguri wasn't in the picture, they'd be destined rivals who would compete over everything. Yet they're both equally kind of exaggerated in personality in ways I would not peg for the typical sort of girl rivalry you see for school comics like this. In terms of other rivals, I hope Aoi has to deal with like a secret admirer one so that she can't exactly confront that rival. Maybe go the mystery detective route trying to figure out who it is.

13) I'm looking forward to more A+ programming jokes. They have some catching up to do if they want to compete with all the Jojo references. But also as I've complimented them, I just overall enjoy them a lot. 14) I'm actually hoping to see more gags with that one rival (whose name i forget) who is extremely blunt and vulgar about her intentions towards Neguri. Just the concept super entertains me, so I'm really hoping she gets to be in more gags that involve wordplays and stuff.

So here’s my Legacy founder, Amanda Ylisse!

She is a Virgo, Lifetime Wish is to become an Illustrious artist and her traits are: > Family-oriented > Nurturing > Artistic > Charismatic > Friendly

Quite easy and basic combination tbh, she’s gonna have a rough time managing with small amount of money so I wanted to make her a bit easier to handle personality-wise. Besides, family traits tend to fit founders pretty well considering that they wanna make sure that their legacy keeps going on, haha.

Also I forgot to take a clear shot of her face, so the introduction picture shall be this photo of her trying to impress the very first sim she saw with those pouty lips and peace sign fingers. Nice try, girl.

As a legacy founder, Amanda obviously has to start the husbando-hunt right away - we wouldn’t want to possible mates to go fuck around with some other bitches and then make enemies when forcing the future hubby to broke up with them.

The first fella in first picture was already take, so up we go to the second floor of art gallery (because that’s a perfet place for artistic Amanda) and found this good-looking dude checking out some horrible black-and-yellow square-patterned hideousity. He seems somewhat confused when Amanda approaches him, I huess he’s not used to attention there when it should be focused on art pieces everywhere.

The guy’s name is Connor Frio, an un-flirty bookworm (Amanda learnt the first part the hard way when she tried to open the conversation with a pick-up line) who is self-employed author and wants to be a professional one someday. And most importantly, he is SINGLE! Lucky you Amanda! Game Date is ON!

At least I hoped it would be on, but sadly the date was cut short thanks to Amanda’s lack of sleep (weak Amanda, weak...). So she said bye-bye to Connor and went night-night. In a sleeping bag. Because she’s poor.

How poor, you ask?

Maybe we should put seducing Connor aside momentarily to gather some money to get at least a better bed for the lady.

SO! Here we are, at the city hall. Despite her artistic nature, Amanda insisted that she wished to start a Political career as a Podium Polisher. Wow. What a great title.

Though she got quite a nice outfit though while going to work? She’s totally faking this “I’m super important person” look - sadly it was too effective when Amanda visited the fortune teller and ended up paying so much extra for such a “wise” advice as “Avoid people wearing orange!”. Why, why did you Amanda want to visit the gypsy wagon-!

She then burned last of her money in greeting card booth. You must be proud of yourself, missy, wasting your first paycheck like this.

Next days Amanda spent honing her skills and going on occassional jogs. She has actively participated in eating contests and chess tournaments to gather up more cash. As you can see, she already was able to afford the single bed and finally, the double trouble one.

Amanda is back to dating business, now with brand new charisma skills to help her out! Connor is happy about seeing the redhead, and the two spent the evening at Spring Festival playing football and laughing at people suffering from the aftereffects of the food eating contest. Then they headed at Amanda’s place.

The rest of the evening turned out to be eventful in more ways than one. After all the flirting and kissing Amanda and Connor had a wet woohoo session inside the shower, and they headed to bed, having earned a good-night’s rest. But this pervert stalker robber decided to invade the party, waking up Amanda who quickly called the police.

The police actually failed to catch the criminal, who ran towards the sunrise laughing manically, but at least that nuthead didn’t manage to steal anything. With a bit unsatisfied grumbles, Amanda went back to bed.

Aww, look at this cute couple. Connor’s all moved in now, they are both poor as crap but at least in love with each other. Rest of the man’s traits are loner, absent-minded and good, and he’s a Cancer.

Amanda decided that it was time to move on from Political career and instead went to pursuit sports! I guess all that jogging finally got to her head in some way.

Later in the evening Amanda threw a bachelorette party for herself after getting engaged with Connor. The party got a surprise twist after one of the guests went into labor! Connor was a savior and drove the lady to the hospital.

Time for the wedding! Thankfully there was no going-to-labor’s this time, so Amanda got to enjoy the tasty wedding cake in peace.

Finally the Ylisse couple was able to gather enough money to build actually walls around their furniture - good timing considering that Amanda was now pregnant! While Connor worked at home writing books, his wife walked around the town trying to stay fit and healthy.

HERE SHE IS!! The firstborn! Her name is Bernilla, Pisces, and she loves the heat and is athletic! We can’t yet see what genetics she got from her parents, but I wish she got her mothers - then she would be perfect heir!

That’s it for now! I have played up to the start of the third generation, so until then the pictures are kinda ehhh because I didn’t really put effort (since I didn’t intend to post these anywhere). I’ll probably try to take a bit more pics and stuff, maybe even write in a more story way.

Ugh… put this off to long, and they’ve been having me get up early for work on Mondays.  Oh wait, I’M ON VACATION THIS WEEK BABY!  WOO!!!  Ain’t going anywhere.  Probably just gonna take it easy, maybe see some local tourist traps.  Why not?  But first things first, let’s get some pony watching in.  This is “Uncommon Bond”

* Starlight seems a bit excited.

* That moment when you realize your friend is a giant nerd.

* I can believe Ponyville being antique central.  I mean it’s located fairly close to the royal capital, so it can receive goods from there, plus it’s also near the old capital what is now ruined and thus an adventurer’s wet dream.  …I wonder if anybody’s thought to ponify Adol yet?

* Seriously Brightboom, how long are you staying?  I’d hate to see how bad the return luggage is with souvenirs.

* Ooh, is this going to be about Starlight getting jealous that Twilight seems to be getting along better with Flareflash than she does?  I smell shipping triangle!  *sniff* Not a pleasant smell come to think of it.  Well, it’s garbage day anyway, so… *tosses ship in garbage*

* Well it’s nice that Solbang can tell his friend isn’t enjoying himself.  Too bad Starlight isn’t taking the offered out.

* I wonder how long phoenix feathers are good for?  Like, do they retain any magical longevity or reconstitution powers?  Outside of chucking them at downed party members, I mean.

* So do unicorn horns often lose control when they get… excited?

* I think it’s official guys, Twilight is a husbando thief.

* I’ll admit it sucks to feel like you’re just not worth hanging out with.  Blow to the self-esteem right there.

* Oh, Twilight’s pep talk is gonna lead her down the wrong path.  Magical mayhem, here we go.

* So is this illusion, or actual change?  Either way, this is an unhealthy nostalgia trip.

* Maud’s good at deadpan delivery.

* To be honest I was kinda hoping Starlight was going to use her new spell to make the game seem a bit more realistic.  I just hope she can repair the holes in the floor.

* Well that was an ominous note to end on?  Was that an evil artifact book?  I mean, I doubt it’s as bad as the Book of Darkness, but that’s pretty worrisome right there.  Also, it just occurred to me that blind barrel purchases in an antique store in a world of magic is potentially a really bad idea.

 Well that’s the episode. The moral was decent enough and the character interactions were OK.  Not my favorite episode, but it was decent.  Then in the last second they had the zoom in on the book and the ominous chord two seconds before the episode ended and what is happening has the finale already started or what?
