Hellooo!!! I love love loveee your work. I fell in love with ur FrUK fics (esp stargazing and the Grace of forgetting) before your btt fics. I rlly rlly rlly love your headcannons as well.

So I was wondering what you’d think of a fic where Antonio and Gilbert are secretly following Francis on his date with Arthur (maybe they’re doing some silly shenanigans, or trying to wingman Francis but it goes wrong, or maybe they’re just going to use whatever content they get for blackmail later) hehehehe tysm!! I really love your writing!

I'm afraid I couldn't give you the exact silly fic you asked for but I don't see Francis needing a wingman at all, or being possible to blackmail with his exploits. He's too confident in himself and with his choices and his friends know this

‘Tenner?’

Gilbert shrugs, ‘I bet a tenner.’

Antonio shakes his head and takes a sip of his drink, ‘Waste of money.’

‘Ten pounds isn’t a lot.’

‘It is if you’re throwing it away.’

‘Don’t offer to bet on something so stupid then.’

They both watch Francis up at the bar. From their table they can’t see much of him- the pub is crowded and he’s well covered by the huddle of thirsty and already rowdy patrons waiting to be served. But they can see his face well enough, with his easy smile and low lidded eyes turned towards someone on his right. It’s just his profile, but it’s enough. The look is one they’ve seen him wear many times before.

His target, a thin blond man next to him, is frowning at him, dark eyebrows drawn low with the threat of a sneer.

Antonio waggles his drink, consideringly, ‘Maybe.’

Gilbert grins, ‘Yeah?’

‘Yeah.’ Antonio reaches out his glass towards Gilbert, ‘Tenner says he fails.’

‘Tenner says he takes him home.’

‘Deal.’

Gilbert clinks his glass against Antonio’s and they both drink. At the bar, the crowd of people part for just a moment to show Francis’ hand resting dangerously low down on the unknown man’s back. Antonio hisses and Gilbert laughs.

‘Might as well buy me a drink now and get it over with.’

‘They’re not home yet.’

‘They will be.’

‘You don-‘

There’s a sudden shout of alarm. Both turn their attention back to the bar in time to watch the crowd step back and reveal Francis clutching his nose, his face now one of thunder. The blond he was talking to shoves him and Francis shoves him back, blood dribbling freely down his top lip. The crowd closes around them again, nearby men grabbing them to haul them apart as others shout and hurriedly step back.

‘Shit.’

Antonio raises an eyebrow and looks at Gilbert in askance, ‘Should we help?’

Gilbert finishes his drink, ‘Nah. We deserve to enjoy it sometimes.’

Antonio laughs and pushes across his leftover chips to Gilbert in offering, jerking his head towards the mess at the bar. Francis is shouting something, his French too quick for Gilbert to translate, ‘That doesn’t mean anything though, does it. He might still get him.’

Gilbert thinks back to all of the times he’s come home to find Francis in bed with a stranger, and all the other times he’s found him with people whom he claims to hate. Francis always likes a challenge and this blond stranger was a challenge indeed. Gilbert gets the feeling too that the man, whilst shouting and gesticulating wildly in response to whatever it was that Francis said, oddly seems to be enjoying himself.

Gilbert sighs and picks at Antonio’s paltry offering.

‘I’m staying at yours tonight.’

‘It’ll cost you a tenner.’

‘Fuck you.’

Time ago, in the city of Vierlès existed a group of heroes, holders of magic jewelry and accessories called Miraculous, each one representative of an animal and power meant to be used for the good and protection of the city’s people.

However, as time passed, this group of heroes fought, each one having their own set of minds with how they used the Miraculous, causing it to fall apart… never to use them again. Or that’s what everyone thought.

Now, 20 years later, three of these well known and loved heroes are raised again… but to use their powers for their own selfish ways. But along with them, came a new generation of holders that would use their Miraculous to fight for good, though another few also followed their steps.

This being said, future holder… which road will you choose? Defend the citizens of Vierlès, or cause them mischief and chaos?

Snowball

“Throw that snowball, and you’ll be in big trouble!” 

Antonio and Gilbert both halt. Each carries a snowball in hand, and they share a look between them that, to Francis, spells out only mischief and madness.

The three of them have gathered for their annual holiday celebration in Germany. Snow has blessed them this year—a pleasant surprise, particularly for Antonio and Francis who do not see it so often—and, as would only naturally follow, the trio have ventured outside. 

Perhaps only somewhat surprisingly, it had been Antonio who had started the war. The first snowball had flown just shy of Francis’ person and hit Gilbert square in the chest. He’d sworn, laughed, and then instantly taken to gathering up snow to launch his counteroffensive—and the rest is history!

Now here Francis stands, in the middle of a spontaneous warzone, two friends throwing snowballs at each other and narrowly missing him until, at last, he is faced by a brazen Gilbert, poised and ready to throw his next load of ammunition right at the Frenchman.

So, “Throw that snowball, and you’ll be in big trouble!” he warns his friend, wanting him to see sense rather than his usual mayhem.

It earns naught but a grin, toothy and cheeky—Gilbert all over. 

"You should know by now that he's into being told off!" Antonio reminds Francis out of left field in due course, just as he lobs a fresh snowball at Gilbert, which hits the other cleanly in the shoulder. "Aha! Gotcha!"

“That was so underhand, Fernández!” Gilbert calls back at him, and, once more, Francis is forced to duck and avoid an incoming ball of snow and ice. 

This is not exactly his idea of fun, he has to admit. He doesn’t want to think he and his two dear friends have interests that are that different, but in winter, they are certainly different creatures:

Francis much prefers the indoors at this time of year, huddling in front of a fire, a glass of warm spiced wine, watching those terribly entertaining straight-to-TV Christmas rom-com films; Gilbert is more the sort who likes to be outdoors, who embraces the cold, who visits Austria to go skiing (and pester his old flame while he’s at it), who can’t sit still; and Antonio is like a fine blend of the two.

And a… an avid fan of starting snowball fights, it seems…

…Speaking of snowball fights—

“Ow!”

“Haha! Take that!”

“Children, please,” Francis tries to placate as Antonio recovers from a direct hit. “Can we maybe park this little Spanish-Prussian war for now and, uh, retreat back inside?” he suggests. “You know, I am struggling to feel my fing—”

Antonio gasps, loud and mortified. His ready-to-go snowball drops down to the ground and his hands fall over his face, masking his shock for a few seconds, before he cries out a furious, “Gilbert!”

Gilbert, however, gives no response nor reaction. Perhaps he is in shock, too, just as Antonio is, and just as Francis is.

Because Francis has just received a faceful of hard snow. It feels as though winter has exploded across his skin, so cold, so icy, so horrid. He’s aghast. He’s deeply offended. He wipes the remnants of snow from his face and slowly turns to look at his assailant—his friend turned enemy—with betrayal threatening to spill over his rim.

He takes a deep breath. 

“Gilbert…”

“Oh, Scheisse…”

“Gilbert, mon ami, where are you running, huh?”

“Just, uh… Just saw something really interesting over here! That’s all!”

“Go easy on him, Fran, you know his bones are as brittle as breadsticks!”

“Then he should be more careful about running so fast, no? He could slip! He could hurt himself!” Francis calls over his shoulder as he finishes forming a snowball of his own, marching rather fast in Gilbert’s footsteps. “And that would be such a shame, especially on our special weekend together!”

Antonio doesn’t doubt it. But, on second thought… Perhaps he should not interfere with Francis’ revenge; he would hate to be caught by the backswing of his rounded, snowy sword…

I think it depends on the era, as well as how fond they're feeling towards each other. These days, when things are light-hearted and relations between their countries are good, they're as likely to carry each other home as they are to cheer on shenanigans and stupidity.

Spain is the nicer: if he sees someone getting into mischief or situation that they'd find embarrassing he might pull them out or lead them away to spare them but he's just as likely to use what he witnessed as blackmail material later. France would film it or follow to enjoy the entertainment to openly and loudly talk about later, whereas Gilbert would try to actively make the situation worse by egging them on or encouraging them to go further
