(bruhstation) hey neil! thank you very much for supporting fortezza bigg city so far :] I really appreciate the thought you've put into analyzing bits of my silly little AU, and I've also gained a huge appreciation for your own works as well. it's so clear you've put a lot of thought and research into your AU and it really blew my mind because everything is so meticulously thought out!!! and I'm looking forward to more!!! here's a quick sketch of your gal zaffre! once again thanks :3 (also you're inspiring me to make my own z-stacks oc! haha)
OHHH MY GOD LOOK AT HER MY BABY GIRL MY SWEET CHEESE SHE LOOKS AMAZING AHHH YOUR ART IS SO GOOD I LOVE YOUR FORM AND VOLUME AND HOW YOU DO YOUR LINE WEIGHT WITH THE OPACITY AND LINE DYNAMICS your handle on anatomy and rendering is really interesting to me, reading you work in Fire Alpaca with a mouse is mind boggling to me, i remember when I was doing the same years and years ago and the skill you show is really fascinating and i am jealous, the way your art is put together is scratching my brain. i have been doing art studies of it and trying to dissect it, it'd have such a interesting feel for animation, you have a wonderful style for breaking down into a limited animation style with a emphasis on dynamics with animation in a 8s, 6s, and 4s with 2s detailing and a hard tweening style [<- just professional animator things lol] The way you render shadow and lighting is also ough. This Zaffre is genuinely so wonderful, new desk top background moments. I love her gesture and expression here, it really captures her as a character! Also the way you draw hands, augh, just augh I wish.
You, my friend, are a fabulous illustrator!
And oh my god your AU is scratching my brain in ways I didn't think possible! I know so little yet there is so much there. When I genuinely say that it is affecting me as much as if not more that @askthefamous8 that is the highest compliment I can muster [that AU has been one of my special interests since 2015,]. I am legit making a post it note wall over FBC just like ATF8 had when I was in middle/high school
You have the most loyal human AU fan on your team now, I genuinely smile thinking about Fortezza Bigg City all day long, my friends and partner are getting annoyed to death from me ranting. sorry dear if you are reading this: I know you hate tugs
Also thank you! I really love doing in depth research, its the autism at work. I am a proud vehicle autistic. I've said it before but working on a ship for a summer just to know the mechanics of how actual sailing works is probably the most unhinged thing I can say I've done for accuracy sake. Loved my Captain and fellow crew, very sad I got sick and had to leave. Honestly would love to be a sailor if my heath wasn't bungled up and I wasn't like $200k of debt in animation college.
My humanoid vehicle AU's are partially based on my sadly never going to be picked up pitch bible for a science fiction based historical vehicle show [my fatal flaw is niche interests] And it literally makes my day to sit down and work on the most expansive and historically researched BS on earth, my AU is both a lovely love letter to TUGS as the show it is and a Love Letter to what TUGS wanted to be! At the end of the day TUGS wanted to be it's days Steven Universe or MASH [something I am gonna elaborate in another format later] but unfortunately it just didn't have the right ingredients. Its the Same as the TUGS musical I'm working on, it's a love letter to what TUGS both is and was supposed to be along with being a love letter to the characters themselves

Hi guys and gals and nonbinary cuties 🤗
I had a wild thought: Why not try to take some commissions 👀👀?
It is a sort of experiment since I have no idea how big the interest is on tumblr next to my other social platforms (mostly deviantart) 😅. Yet I wanted to give you the possibility to commission me if it turns out that some of you are interested 💛💚💗.

I am amazed of the "#ask doodle" you put under a drawing for a question or ask but I wanna now what's not a doodle ..could you sow us a drawing you really spend a lot of time or maybe hard work into it? Inkneo you work hard fir all of your other drawing and I'm proud if you for that 💕 I just want to see a old or maybe recently drawing you did that took effort and stuff yk what I mean- could you show us one of the drawings or maybe more if yiu have any??
Ooh here's a few recent "not doodles" haha
The line work is cleaner and usually I start with actual sketches, but personally I feel like the main difference is how I color them.
The fastest step in my "doodles" is the coloring, while in the others it's usually what takes the longest :)

do you have any drawing tips? i'm just starting out and your style inspires me to keep going fr!!
HIYA !!! thank you that is so kind of you, i would say to keep drawing with references and do studies!! typically art studies (in like art school lol) are of old masters (da vinci, etc) but doing studies of styles that you like, like trying to copy a certain artist you like, also helps you develop skills !!
for example, lots of people (especially fanartists lol) do studies of artists like leyendecker while making the models their favorite characters/ocs, so it helps to make studies fun. literally look up leyendecker study on tumblr dot com and you will see hundreds.
(gets a bit long and rambly so i've thrown it under the cut :')
Tumblr media
style studies can be anything! above was done while watching wolfwalkers, just loose sketches that copied the style as the movie went along. i love the design and style in that film, wanted to incorporate it in my character design work, so i tried it out myself! it let me know the kinds of shapes used in the construction, the way it moves (wrt to animation) and silhouettes. by copying something, you learn how to do it on the way (so the kinds of colors used, what works best with shading, etc) it's like. reverse engineering
even very loosely copying something to identify what you like about the style helps! these were modelled after the way slimsense on ig paints (her work is 2nd + 4th examples below, my attempts at 'paint' 1st and 3rd lol), but doesn't really look like her work. i'm not necessarily trying to make perfect copies. i liked that her paint didn't blend perfectly, was blocky, and the additional lineart over the painting, so i brought that into my own art. i tried to create a painting style that was 'my own' off of lots of trial and error, and seeing what stuck!
Tumblr media
also find brushes you like! adobe has a bunch on their page (if you have photoshop, but i know there's some for procreate and other programs) and if you want the adobe brush files, lmk. i will send a drive link to you LOL (sketches of the same characters, using different brushes below. the two i used the most often, one being a solid inker and the other being a paintbrush)
Tumblr media
generally doing figure drawing is good too. i've heard advice about art where you can only start breaking the rules after you understand them, and a good grasp on anatomy, proportions, etc is definitely a good place to start! good sites to use for this are line of action for poses, and the morpho books (if you need pdfs of this let me know, though you should be able to find them if you look lol) !
i would also say learn perspective early on. i have no tips for you here i am so sorry. i didn't and now it bites me in the ass, but there has to be a youtube tutorial for this out there that can help you AND me. same goes for color theory. quickly dropping my favorite van gogh quote of all time:
Tumblr media
(quote is from a letter to his brother) just everyone needs the fundamentals first. don't worry about a personal style: that just comes naturally as you develop as an artist, and i was certainly inspired by a lot of the things i watched/consumed and artists i admired which absolutely shows in my work i think (manet. western comics. fma. avatar. pjo fanart. there are tells. you know how it is.)
also flip your canvas !!! like see below ... frankly this marcille is so lopsided (her entire face should shift to the left) LOL !! flipping horizontally makes the anatomy mistakes obvious, and shows you you what you need to fix. i should never have posted this as is but sometimes it works for humor and an artist is lazy </3
Tumblr media
AND ALWAYS USE REFERENCES WHEN YOU CAN!! i should use more references tbh!!! it helps with posing, getting anatomy correct, etc, and my friends use pinterest a lot, though i tend to just google when i need to LOLLL
Tumblr media
also draw what you like. there is genuinely nothing that is better for your art than getting into something REALLY BAD and then non stop drawing it. time + practice will lead to improvement no matter what the subject is!
i hope this was not too much information all at once !!! and some of it is helpful!!! it's a lot of basic improvement tips that i try to practice and use when i can :) so sorry that this got so long!!!!

writeblr positivity tag!
tagged by the lovely @serenanymph here! tysm!
no-pressure tagging @saltwaterbells @memento-morri-writes @sam-glade and @loopyhoopywrites <3
1. What motivates you to write?
The desperate urge to read about the characters and situations in my brain. If I don’t write them nobody will. I am trapped in a hell of ‘if I want content for my OC’s I have to make it’ and I simply cannot type fast enough.
2. A line/short snippet of your writing that you are most proud/happy of. If not maybe share a line of someone else's work you love (just please credit them)
Recency bias is showing, but honestly this bit from feel me from the inside still makes me happy. (that fic is a vivisection dead dove thing, read at your own risk)
After an age, the pain is nothing but a faint ache, dysphorically familiar—he hasn’t felt like this since he was Xunhrae, though even on her worst days she never suffered so intensely.
I just really like writing trans bits into my characters narrations. I have two trans mains in my two fic series rn, and I have not anywhere ever said the words ‘they are trans’ explicitly, it’s all implication and more subtle references. and i like it that way. (also i apparently did a good enough job of telegraphing how trans ashenivir was that fox clocked him before anything was mentioned which is perfection to me. that boy is pure transmasc magic.)
3. Which OC makes you smile every time you think/talk about them and what are they like?
Now normally I would be insert Sorrow here, but @lawful-evil-novelist has recently bestowed Rhylfein Dyrr upon the blorbo-rotator in my brain. He’s a drow, the spare body for a lich, and knows it. He’s pretty (he’s got long red hair and i just. pretty) and violent and has so many issues he, like all my blorbo’s, is not going to deal with.
He has been immediately shipped with my boy Vizaeth and now they both have something in the vicinity of a relationship resembling healthy and it makes me so happy. Also they have opposite kinks and it’s really funny.
4. What process of writing do you enjoy the most?
Second drafts. First drafting is super fun, but second drafting is fun, and also a puzzle, and also it’s when the story for me starts to actually take on the shape it’s meant to have. I know the characters, I know what I want it to look like, and I have the stabilisers of pre-written stuff to get me started/keep me going when I’m stuck. It’s like refining a sketch: I did the hard part of blocking it in, and now I get to make the shapes fun.
5. What part of writing do you think you are the best at? (Yes stroke your own ego it's okay)
Lately it’s consistent metaphors. I’ve been doing a lot of editing, and picking and applying specific types of description to fully realise a theme and motif in a fic or a chapter is very satisfying, and I think I’m pretty good at it.
Also dialogue. I’m great at dialogue.
6. What is something in the writeblr community is most enjoyable?
The community! When I made this blog a couple months ago i was dead certain it would be me, my handful of beloved loyal fic readers, and maybe a couple bots. I have been blown away at how welcoming everyone is, and by the level of creativity constantly on display. It’s like a free inspiration machine logging in to see everyone’s work every day!
7. A writing tool/device you use that helps you with writing? (It could be speech to text, a writing program etc)
have i mentioned obsidian yet? :p
i also use the free version of pro writing aid but honestly i spend more time arguing with it than accepting its advice, so at this point it doesn’t count as that helpful.
8. A piece of worldbuilding that you like in your own story? (It could be the magic system, a particular place in the story, a law etc)
infernii my beloved.
also actually, yeah, my magic system. I like that it’s simple but fun. I like playing with components for my spellcasters!
9. What piece of advice would you say to encourage others to write if they are having a rough patch?
take a break. take a walk, take a nap, get a snack. five minutes. a week. I know you don’t want to, but you’re going to get through this with way less pain if you step away from it. If it’s a writing problem, chances are you’ll solve it the minute you step away from the words. If it’s a life problem, you need the energy to deal with it. Take a nap. The words will be there when you come back.
10. Tag some people whose works you love/have been your biggest supporters
@foxboyclit has been screaming in my inbox about my fic for months now, and is the best possible cheerleader. im putting you in the dedication for this book, bestie, you can’t stop me
@lawful-evil-novelist has hands down some of the best visual concept writeups ever, and working on fic with her/hearing about her fantasy wip inspired me to pick mine back up. i would not have written half as much this year without you
@britta-ashcroft has been like. the og #1 fan for obedience, and also yells about half the other stuff i write with such enthusiasm that i want to write more purely to cause more yelling. im sorry for inflicting so many terrible, unhinged boys upon you (← lying)
@saltwaterbells was one of the first writeblr’s i followed when i decided to start in here, and their writing style is so unique. hunger like smoke is just aaahhhhh!! every time you post snippets i am devouring them with both hands
@serenanymph is also going in here because Beast has so much cool worldbuilding and magic
if i keep going i’ll end up just. tagging everyone in my writeblr folder. you’re all awesome!!

Hey there! Welcome to my corner of the world!
Hi! You can call me Bugsy, or Bugs, Atari was my old handle and I haven't bothered changing the tags here lol. I run a couple of blogs, the ones you might recognize being:
@violetcottontail - I voice act here as many Habits! Got an ongoing story in the works :)
@beyond-the-rabbit-hole - Over here, I write things related to violetcottontail. Some are canon, some aren't ;)
@addispam - My first blog that got big, was Spamton focused! This is on indefinite hiatus since I lost the hyperfixation on it.
@atarispam - Used to be my art blog, now I just reblog stuff there
I'm currently in animation college, so I'm a bit slow when it comes to updating violetcottontail and beyond the rabbit hole, but I will post when I can! This is just my main blog, feel free to message if you like! Also, I do take commissions :3

I’m NOT okay with drawing: Loli, racial/transphobic stereotypes, harm to animals or children, heavy gore, explicit art, explicit art of real people PLEASE don’t be that guy! What I need before starting your commission: I will need references for the character/s you want drawn, the more the better! Do NOT send me explicit references! I will also need your email/tumblr blog url so I can send you the finished commission. Payment is 100% upfront and will be sent to me through Paypal. I will send you my Paypal once we have your commission figured out. Average waiting time: The average waiting time for a commission can be between 1 to 2 weeks depending on the complexity of your commission. Please be patient. Ti's Commissions
I'll be going by Paypal for commissions. Basically to start a commission, if I do NOT know you, you have to put a 15$ deposit. If you make sudden changes or change your mind when I am past the sketching phase, you will NOT receive a refund. The moment I start line art, you're getting what you asked for. If you refuse to pay for the finished product, I will blacklist you and you will be unable to commission me or interact with me period again. If something HAS come up and you have a REASON you cannot pay, it's two strikes and you're out.
I will try almost anything out once. If I tackle a piece and I cannot finish it cuz I bit off more than I can chew? You will get your deposit back. I will NOT be doing fetish art or any of that stuff. However, I will do tasteful nudity. I will do furries and humans, anthro and what not. I am not the BEST with feral and mech, but I will try if I think I can do it.
If a character has many details or looks like a challenge for me to draw, I may charge more. The prices below are the base price. Drawing something simple will not be the same price as drawing a very detailed character. I will DISCUSS pricing first.
For OCs, I NEED a ref, if you give me a face claim I am drawing the face claim. If you want me to design an OC, you have to pay me a WHOLE entire separate payment for it.
How my commissions go. We discuss what you want and how much it will be > You deposit the fee. >I finish a rough sketch and clean it up and I show you it. >Tell me if you want any changes or if it's good to go. >I finish it and get the rest of the payment. >I give you piece once payment goes through.
Under the read more will be my prices and examples for each piece.. For my own comfort, I do not do sketches or lineart. It never looks good to me alone. So I will be doing flat color and shading+highlights.
I will only do up to two characters per commission, they are double the price. I also only do basic backgrounds. I am NOT good with backgrounds.
PATIENCE IS KEY. You may ask about your piece and how it's coming along but please do NOT nag me. I have other art projects I wish to do and have a job.
Down below are pricing and examples.
RP ICONS
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Will ALWAYS be flat colored or roughly colored. 3 for 15. 6 for 25.
AVATARS
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Avatars will be 25$ Per avatar, fully shaded. They are 20$ for flat color.
HALF BODIES
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Half bodies are 40$ for fully shaded and 30$ for flat colors.
FULL BODIES
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Full bodies are 60$ fully shaded, only 50$ if flat colored.
CUSTOM OC
Tumblr media
Ask for more details. They will be 70+ depending on what it is. The more references to give me an idea on what you want, the better. Humans are easier for me to do than furries/anthro.

do you have any tips how to doodle? i want to have some drawings around my writing but i have a hard time making it look effortless. love your art btw!
thank you for the compliment anon! as flattered as i am to be asked for drawing advice, i absolutely don't feel i have enough knowledge or skill to give it. still, since you asked i'll do my best to give you an answer! ( ◡̀_◡́)ᕤ
just to be clear, i am a self-taught hobbyist ⁽ᶠᵒʳ ⁿᵒʷ⁾. this isn't going to be a definitive 'how to draw' post! do not take this advice at face value if you are trying to learn how to draw professionally, because well, that wasn't the question and that's not what this post is about. it's just your rando tumblr artist giving silly advice on how to draw silly doodles :3
so here are my tips and tricks on how to doodle:
1. firstly? relax. you're doodling for fun and for yourself! it doesn't have to be perfect (as cliché as this sounds). your works are important because you created them.
i find that a lot of the time i don't even start drawing because i don't think i can pull it off the way i imagined in my head. don't fall for this, it's your inner goblins trying to deceive you. you will never get to a point where it looks like you want it to if you don't try at all!
draw even if you think it looks like shit. don't be overly critical of yourself but also don't give up. it's okay to change something if you feel it looks weird or just cause. but also step away from a drawing from time to time, so you can see it with a clear mind - maybe you will catch some mistakes or maybe you'll realize that it looks better than you thought it did!
2. doodle all. the. time.
the more you do it the more natural it will feel. silly expressions, random objects, your ocs, anything.
you said you want to have drawings to go with your writing, so i suggest trying to draw whatever moment you wrote! i'm gonna use our life as an example, since that's the fandom i draw for at the moment. when i play the game and i like a line or a certain moment i quickly draw it on a sticky note. even if the doodles look bad i still feel good looking at them, because i drew a moment i enjoyed and i managed to show the emotions i wanted in the doodle.
3. use references. like a lot of them.
from my experience, i usually have an idea on what i want to draw - what pose or expression i have in mind. first i sketch it out on my own and then i look up references. sometimes for an entire doodle and sometimes for a specific part, like an arm placement.
if you don't have a clear idea of what you want to doodle, but you know the moment in your writing you want to draw, let's say two characters dancing, look up photos of people dancing and look at art that other people drew to seek inspiration.
references are really helpful but they can also feel constraining, as if they are limiting what you can draw. to that i say if don't use only one reference! the pose can come from one picture, an expression from another, body type a different one and so on. personally i have an entire board on pinterest dedicated to photos and drawing advice i find useful. when i can't find a specific thing i usually take pictures of myself and use that.
this is a really nice deviantart post about using references! you can also find it here on pinterest, where i found it.
4. simplify your refs!
when you have a reference it still may be hard to draw with it. i used to do the thing where you start drawing with a ref by focusing on one part and drawing it in an extremely detailed way and then moving on to another. needless to say it did not look good at all - the proportions were off and it looked stiff and unnatural.
what helps a lot is simplifying your references and your drawings in general. here's what i mean by that:
Tumblr media
imagine references not as a whole but as a bunch of shapes. you can draw over the reference directly to get a better feeling of what shapes make sense.
5. what i learned from my book about drawing is that your hand movements shouldn't come from the wrist, but rather from the arm. most of the time using only wrists is good for details. it may feel a bit awkward and clunky to implement the entire arm into drawing at first, but it helps a lot with how your lines look!
6. and last but not least, we are talking about doodles! not detailed, complicated art pieces.
it's okay if they are messy or imperfect in any way.
so tldr; doodle because you like to, draw a lot and everything, use references and simplify them, use the entire arm while drawing, and don't worry about them not looking like a museum art piece!
i think in the end what is most important is that you draw because you like to. progress will come with time.
sooo there you have it! i took some time with replying to this ask because i wanted the advice to be good,, i hope it helped you in some way anon! ৻( •̀ ᗜ •́ ৻)

For the fic ask game, I'd love to know, since its my fave Carrillo story of yours: 1. Favorite scene or line from (Home Again)?2. Did you have any ideas that didn’t make the final cut of (Home Again)? <3
Home Again is a fic that I love so thoroughly, and am so proud of. Very rarely do I write things that I dislike, but I just really loved this one, you know?
I was proud of myself for the buildup in that story, because description is my kryptonite as a writer. Something I work on getting better at each time I open up a word doc 😅
But I'm sure it comes as no surprise that my favorite bit is a line of dialogue when the two of them are sitting in her apartment sharing a drink.
"You deserve more than this worn-torn city had to offer you. Still do."
I like this line for a handful of reasons. Their whole conversation is just. Loaded with subtext. And every time he asks her about Medellín, he's also asking about their whole relationship. He told her to leave not just because she deserved more than what Colombia had to offer her, but more than what he had to offer her. And he's so bad at dealing with his feelings that he pushed her away back then, and in a way is still very much doing it now.
I also like this line and his intent behind it because if/when I get around to writing and posting the next part of this story, he's going to be eating those words. He's all for her finding better until he has to watch her have it with someone who isn't him.
And I think that sort of leads into the next question. Originally this was just going to be a one and done fic, but you guys were amazing and showed a lot of interest in it and I have been sketching out potential follow-up installments. Plus any excuse to toy with my ocs is a good excuse. But this first piece is exactly what I set out to write. Which like. Is so interesting because that hardly ever happens 😂 i usually end up getting carried away as I go but I really picked a track and stayed on it for this one.

🏃💨🧍2, 8, 14 and 23 for the artist asks!!!!!!
US RIGHT NOW ⬇⬇⬇
youtube
(thank you for the ask n patience!! @_@ i ended up spending last night finishing up an old wip. ♥)
2. 5 favourites of your own work?
That's hard to say uhh...in recent terms and under no particular order it is:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
8. What do you like most about your own work?
If I'm going to be honest it would be the line art and coloring/color palettes. Even if I find lining tedious, I can appreciate that I am improving slowly. I just hope I learn on some shortcuts soon. @_@ also adding in fun filters, messing with the background and adding lil highlight shapes rly do spice up the work for me.
14. How has your art changed over the years?
The wip I mentioned was actually a redraw of one of the first few drawings/concept art of my blorbo oc, Ollie. That old drawing was from 2016 iirc. It was around the time I started my first year in college so my anatomy a little wonky. Was really into Big Anime Eyes and simple shapes. Granted my workflow was. much more simpler so I would be able to finish pieces faster. That being said, I don't miss it all that much. Here's a comparison below. :3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
23. Do you listen to music or watch shows while you work? If so, what’s your favourite?
:'o) Oh I consume media when I work alright. Usually music only when I'm sketching since that required more mental work to focus on the process and I wouldn't be able to take in anything if it was a podcast/stream or a show or something. When I'm lining/coloring is where I would have a yt vid/stream on the background. Shading is a mixed bag as I don't usually plan out so I would either return to the sketch to block out or Wing It on the spot. For music I usually play either an oc playlist or a dedicated artist/genre playlist. So my favorites are a mixed bag.
For streams I tune into whatever is on. Pikamee is good as well as some of the vinesauce crew sometimes (binty/rev/jabroni mike/limes), robcdee is chill, esp at the late hours where no one in your timezone is online and then you have this guy in some other part of the word cycling/walking around.
For yt I just watch video essays and w/e is on my sub tab. NezumiVA/Noah Samsen/Kuncan Dastner/SuperEyePatchWolf/J Aubrey/LS Mark are some content creators I watch while I work. Noah/Kuncan being a couple of breadtubers that covers internet trends in a social lens and influencer controversies sometimes while Nezumi and and SEPW have more content related to anime/manga analysis. LS Mark is a cartoon critic that makes good long form videos to have the background and J Aubrey is one of those creators that covers influencer/celebrity controversies and drama.

artist asks, 1, 10, 17, 20?
aww, thank you for sending me numbers! <3
1. Show your most recent wip
I literally was about to start on my next thing now so I don't have a WIP but I do have its storyboard lol here is a panel that makes some amount of sense
Tumblr media
10. What’s that one thing that inspired you to make drawing your consistent hobby?
Emphasis on the consistent part: self-improvement. I've been drawing every single day for about 7 years now, and the purpose of the daily sketch is to practice Things to facilitate learning and make my digital pieces as limitless as possible. I want to be able to draw whatever my brain wants me to draw. I also bought a shitload of sketchbooks so I should probably do something with them. I'm currently on #55 and there's probably like 100+ more so I'll likely be sketching into my grave. When I die, I hope it's after my daily drawing and not before.
There was a great quote floating around on tumblr about how creativity is like a specific type of dog breed and you don't want to leave it alone bc you'll regret what it does if you do, and that really encapsulates why I still draw. I have an imagination much like any other person out there, and I want them to manifest by my own hand. Drawing is probably the most easily accessible creative outlet. I did pick up writing again but I am more visually inclined as an individual so drawing suits my needs better and it is fun to make the lines go brrr and suddenly a tree is on a piece of paper.
17. What inspires you?
This is a fun one. Other artists, art history, fashion illustration, architecture of places with actually nice architecture, graphic design, comics, stories (books or other media) and presently Xiaolumi lol. The brain will find a way to make a series of unrelated things into something.
20. What works have you drawn fanart of?
A lot lol.
With commitment and feeling: Mystic Messenger, Ikemen Sengoku, Ikemen Vampire, Genshin Impact. I gave so much energy into cybirb fandoms and it stings lol
For shits and giggles: Totally Spies (my eternal well of good vibes), Sailor Moon, W.I.T.C.H., Persona 5, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Monster High (on a different blog lol).
People generally don't give a shit about OCs so it's normal I lose followers whenever I post things of them. Bc of that, the bulk of my stuff of substance has been fanart which I don't mind bc I do love the series I draw stuff for.
Thank you for sending me numbers! <3

Ive realised I have a certain procedure for making ocs right so it starts of with
inspiration
Tumblr media
I saw the the coat style and design from somewhere and went omfg I need it but I am no good at sewing so make an entire character to show it off.
2. Details
Tumblr media
Just upscale that mf give it lore and patterned clothing that you will never find enough time to draw out
3. Colour
Tumblr media
Make a teeny tiny pen sketch and give it a buncha colours and pray your aesthetic sense kicks in while scorning the fact that your marker have big tips and so the colours don't stay in the line (and it's definitely not your lack of patience/precision)
4. Trauma
Tumblr media
Give the Trauma™
It builds character
5. Draw them in dynamic poses but realise you've run out of attention and move onto your next oc
6. Repeat until you find
The one
Thanks for reading through this silly process
