Time for some a/b/o Clegan/Buck x Bucky headcanons:

Buck's an Alpha and Bucky's an Omega (I have thoughts about the other boys too but for now Clegan)

Omegas can't serve if they're mated, so even though they want to Buck and Bucky can't mate until after the war.

Its a tradition that every newbie falls in love with Major Eagan just a little bit. He's sunshine in a cloudy country during a dark war. He's touchy, quick with a laugh, and his eyes stare out with such love for everyone that they can't help their crush. Bucky isn't the innocent beauty type who will blush if you flirt a little. He's bold and in your space. The replacements stammer and blush whenever they talk to him or even stare down at their feet unable to meet his pretty blue eyes. They usually runaway in embarrassment pretty quickly. Bucky never seems to realize his effect on others, and he always pouts that none of the new guys want to drink or joke around with him. Buck just sips at his ginger beer.

Most of the crushes disappear when they realize how Major Cleven would ensure they get stuck cleaning toilets if they ever tried anything serious with his Omega. He's petty like that.

Speaking of, Buck is intensely territorial, in the weirdest ways. He's fine with Bucky running around with the others. He'd never begrudge Bucky something that makes him smile. But the second the pair head to their quarters, Bucky has to be covered in his scent. Buck can't sleep if he catches the scent of someone else on his boy, even if it's from someone harmless like Brady or Ken. Bucky likes it, likes pushing Buck to growl and push him against walls to scent him, low murmurs that Bucky's his.

Buck also likes marking up Bucky with love bites across his collarbones and neck. Bucky adores them. He loves the idea that wherever he goes he has something that's Buck's, that shows exactly who loves him. Buck likes to lay kisses against Bucky's mating gland once the other has fallen asleep, a silent promise to himself that one day they'll mate and Bucky will know that he's loved just as equally as he loves.

Bucky gets a lot of shit from the Brits (and later the Germans but thats for another darker time) for being an Omega in combat. For some reason they still flirt with him, annoying as all hell. He lets it roll off his back like so much noise usually. Until one time, one of the RAF boys says that Bucky's not an Omega you love, he's an Omega that gets fucked and dumped, not worth it, and how eventually even Cleven will leave him, which hits him deep in the heart. Bucky wears his heart on his sleeve for everyone to crumple and hurt, and he freezes. That's his biggest fear that he's unlovable and too broken for a deeper connection, and one day Buck will see that and leave him. But he always gives as good as gets, steps to the Brits and tells them to screw off.

Buck sees all this and it's only through the power of Benny, Brady, Curt, and Jack that he doesn't murder those RAF idiots. Buck spends the rest of the night whispering into Bucky's ear how much he loves Bucky, how he can't wait to mate him, how he'll never leave him. All while he fucks him slow and tender.

Bucky has one pregnancy scare during the earlier days of the war, which of course is a false alarm, but before they're sure, Buck can't help but dream. Buck is gone on the idea of little babies with Bucky's smile and blonde curls. Bucky grins at him and says he'd love them simply because they were another piece of Gale in the world. They'd be the cutest dads together.

Who fell first, Nami or Vivi?

This is such a great ask,,

The whole thing of "who fell first, who fell harder" doesn't really feel right for these two because I think they're equally crazy for each other. But, when it comes to who fell first... I probably think that Vivi. But it's hard to explain(?

Vivi fell first in the "crush" sense because she's a princess and has never had the time/right to look at other girls that way. So of course, when a hot pirate enters her life, her whole idea of love changes, and she realizes why she wasn't interested at all in all the men who proposed to her. She kept saying it was because she couldn't find the right guy yet and she had other responsibilities, but then she realizes that it's because they were, well, guys. Because Nami steps into her life pretty much suddenly and she's just so nice to her. She's ruthless but sweet and she has a playful and mischievous spot that Vivi isn't used to but adores. She loves all these new experiences and she falls hard for Nami the second they can rest together in between all the Arabasta drama. So it's not really love at first sight, but just a crush and wanting a taste of something she knows won't last because she'll have to stay in Arabasta in the end. I think, though, that during the whole Drum Island incident, Nami getting sick, and Arabasta as a whole, Vivi falls even more for Nami to the point of love. And it's weird because it happens quickly and turns her life around completely. Nami's kindness and the comfort she provides are so breathtaking for Vivi... She's a whole new world. So I think she fell first, yeah.

For Nami, I think Vivi at first is just a pretty girl like all the pretty girls she's been with before and she doesn't have a crush on her right away. She's more logical here, y'know. She finds Vivi pretty but focuses on helping her out and pretty much relates to her experience of losing the power over her home. She likes her, but she knows it won't last because Vivi will have to go back to Arabasta at some point and Nami doesn't let herself fall for somebody/trust them this easily. She flirts with her jokingly the same way she always does with every girl she meets, and because she's just like that. But I think that, when she falls for Vivi, she falls hard. She skips the crush thing to instantly have a bond with her that turns her whole life around and she knows she's completely fucked. Because of course she had to be cliché like that and fall for a princess they're helping go back to her home. Of course Nami would let her guard down with somebody she'll barely see. But damn, she's just beautiful. Perfect. She's kind but brave and she fights for her people and what matters to her the most. She has strong ideals about protecting people and she's also the cutest thing Nami has ever seen and the closest to comfort/home she'll ever be. Nami loves her because she's just that genuine. She's smart but silly and often forgets stuff. She gets involved in their shenanigans and fits in their family so well, that now that Nami has to accept her leave, she can't picture the crew without her.

I think Vivi wouldn't realize she's a lesbian until she meets Nami, and Nami would treat her like any girl she meets until she falls for Vivi. And it breaks my heart to think that they fall extremely hard for each other but then they have to be apart and- Ugh. Besides, they would talk much about their feelings at first because Vivi is insecure about Nami's experience with love life/girls and Nami doesn't want to get too attached to her (happens anyway).

So basically, Vivi fell first as in "having a crush" and Nami fell first as in "being completely head over heels". Vivi would be okay falling for Nami if Nami wasn't a girl, while Nami would be okay with falling for a girl if that girl wasn't Vivi.

so, as a grad student, i teach at the college level rn, and i've also taught at the high school and middle school levels. and like. i had an interest in teacher/student fics before that and would read anything, picturing myself in the student role, but now that i've been a teacher, it's extremely difficult for me to fully immerse myself in teacher/student bc there's sooooooo much going on to fuck with the relationship.

i address some of this in aizawa's route of soulmate trope itself: how students don't really function fully as People in your brain (i mean of course you are bc you're valuing them as an individual), bc you're always thinking of them as a movable unit in grading and group work. and like. at the end of the day, you are Tired of teaching shit. you don't want to bring work home with you, and, like, you don't want to talk about your students unless someone did something stupid that day.

and i know my experiences are not universal, but i find it hard to identify any students as people i would even want to be friends with irl, let alone something more as profs do in fiction, bc there's SUCH a level of disconnect of power/understanding/stages in life. students are very much Not Your Peers in a traditionally academic setting, and so--for me, at least--that makes it impossible to feel romantic things for a student. but, again, i don't experience everything the same way everyone else does. i know these things happen.

all of that to say that if a fic is strictly student/teacher, it has to fit my silly, extremely specific criteria of "ethical student/teacher," which is, at the fucking minimum, that the student is no longer taking that teacher's class.

so, i mostly read aizawa/reader in which reader either has never been his student or is no longer his student, bc while there's a ton of really sexy stuff out there for current teacher/student, i can't get into those without thinking about work, the on-paper reprecussions, and how much i would never want to get involved romantically/sexually with a guy who's that willing to sacrifice his morals/workplace dynamic. i know. personal preference.

Jake Peralta & Amy Santiago — that's an obvious one, I mean, who doesn't love Peraltiago? I personally adore how their relationship evolves from distracting childish rivalry to distracting childish courtship, finally to distracting childish marriage (and parenting!). Their chemistry is visible basically since pilot. They're always there for each other, taking one another's sides no matter what, they help each other grow. Not only are they lovers but also best friends and I think it's such an amazing thing. They care about each other and make each other feel good about the world and their place in it. Their relationship is not toxic nor abusive in any way, they embrace their best traits, not undermine them. They're so different but they don't try to change each other — they eventually do so but it's due to their loving relationship and it's change for the better. In summary: such a power couple.

Jake Peralta & Rosa Diaz — I guess what I love most in this relationship is that it doesn't evolve in ANY romantic direction. This is extremely rare in TV shows but GUESS WHAT, man-woman friendship exists y'all and these two are the perfect example of that. They trust each other, they're there for each other when they need it, I mean when Jake helped Rosa with her coming out or when Rosa was talking to him about Amy and always gave him advice, you can't tell me you didn't melt inside. I did. They're the best partners, Jake knows her badge number by heart and I BET Rosa knows his as well. Jake Peralta & Gina Linetti — it's just so cute they're friends since primary school both on-screen and irl, it gives them such amazing chemistry. I personally love how Jake calls Gina 'man' and Gina calls Jake 'girl', a perfect summary of their relationship and I'm here for that. They grew up together, they help out each other in all kinds of situations and they care about each other. They can be funny and they can be serious for a moment, they value each other's advice and the fact that their friendship lasts since childhood makes their scenes 100 times more adorable (just think of the forehead kiss!).

Gina Linetti & Raymond Holt — from an annoying assistant who never gets her job done (not that this has ever changed) to a dear friend who teaches captain Holt trashtalk and is on first name terms with his husband. Their scenes are just super hilarious and I love how Holt just can't imagine having as his assistant anyone but Gina. His Gina Moment is just amazing and he's really proud of his friend, even though he worries about her. I love how Gina takes his side and doesn't want Jake to ruin his career when Wuntch transfers him to PR. She teaches him, as well as he teaches her, they help each other, they appreciate each other when some can't, they know each other's talents and value each other's opinions. And you can tell Holt is extremely bummed when Gina decides to leave the Nine-Nine, because who will give him diction exercises before important events now? Gina Linetti Spaghetti Confetti.

Terry Jeffords & basically everyone (INCLUDING Sharon!) — I'm gonna start from Sharon because imo their relationship is SO underrated while it's such a great marriage. Remember when Sharon said she would always worry about him but he should get his ass back in the field if he was ready? Now that's the support. They love each other so much and, what's more, they let each other know that. The same goes for the kids — Terry always makes sure they know he loves them very much. And except his real family, he also has his other family with his stupid grown up kids. Because he treats squad like a family and it's the cutest thing ever. He loves Jake, he loves Amy, he loves Rosa, he loves Gina, he loves Charles, he loves every single one of them, values every single one of them, cares about every single one of them and lets them know that. They know they can count on him and ask him for help or advice and even when he's super busy, he's gonna find some time for them. The same goes for Holt, they're amazing friends and basically dads of the squad but Terry isn't afraid to tell captain off if he gives the squad too hard time. Raymond Holt & Rosa Diaz — both Amy and Rosa are so similar to Holt but in such different ways. I love how they talk about emotions and help each other acknowledge them. They have so much respect for one another which is growing stronger and stronger throughout the series. Rosa understands Holt's standards and contrariwise. Their friendship is restrained but yet powerful and based on mutual respect. But feelings? Ew.

Raymond Holt & Jake Peralta — this most obviously had to be here, because it's impossible not to love this duo. Their relationship evolves so beautifully and it's very clearly shown how Holt's opinion and appreciation matter much more than his actual father's. Not only does Ray have an impact on Jake, but also Jake teaches captain a few things, remember hot tub scene? They value each other's opinions, they literally make each other better people. And their father-son relationship is simply amazing and when Holt plays along with it it's just... daaamn, son.

Raymond Holt & Madeline Wuntch — when they're together, I'm like Rosa: this is amazing. I literally want to make popcorn and watch this beautiful drama and those insults OMG, I'm here for them so much. That's basically it, I love their chemistry of arch-nemesis and I love how they perform it and chapeaux bas to Andre Braugher and Kyra Sedgwick for not cracking up during those scenes. Norm Scully & Michael Hitchcock — this is a perfect example of how true friendship can last over the years. These guys do everything together and they simply don't care about what others say about them (cake for gay wedding has come to mind). As Hitchcock says, everyone knows they come in package and they both watch it'll be so, so neither of them would be left out. They're dorky but they appreciate each other for the little things (which to them are quite big things but let's leave it), they comfort each other and even when they fight they can't stay mad at one another for long. Victor (Male Protagonist):

Getting used to him not talking much, and learning how to decipher his expressions and body language in every little detail.

Being friends with Hop, mostly due to his friendship with Victor, and getting along well with him, ending up not only rooting for Victor during the Gym Challenge, but for him as well.

Him expressing his affection towards you in silent but cute ways, like holding your hands while walking or giving you a kiss on the forehead when he thinks you're being cute.

Although he may not talk much, he still has an extroverted and energetic side hidden within himself. Try camping with him once and you'll see what I'm talking about. He'll want to have you play with his Pokémon right next to him, and he'll find it the cutest thing ever if he sees you getting along well with his starter or with his wooloo. If that happens, get ready to often go camping with him.

If you end up camping during night and feel like sleeping outside, he'll want to cook you something to show off his cooking skills. And after that, he wouldn't find it bad if you so happened to want to sleep while hugging him. He really wouldn't mind. Really. Please hug him.

Him not initiating kisses at the start of your relationship, but as soon as he'll get used to it he won't have a problem with it and would probably be the one to initiate them, if no one's watching, that is. Supporting him and being his number one fan during the Gym Challenge, even if you're competing against him as his rival. You would still be his number one fan even after his decision of wanting to become a Pokémon professor. No matter what happens, you'll support him.

As his rival and significant other, helping him overcome his insecurities is your number one priority. You are always there to compliment him and raise his spirits after a lost battle. You're also his best friend, don't forget that.

You would not expect it from such a seemingly energetic and loud guy, but Hop can get surprisingly bashful and easily embarrassed if you say the right thing. You would come to notice that every time you compliment him he would turn slightly red, and that's just way too cute in your opinion.

He's very affectionate. Get ready for him giving you kisses on the cheek, on the forehead or even on the lips whenever he feels happy. I don't think he'd be one for PDA though. You two being the "power duo" of Galar. Significant others, trainers of the two protectors of the region, one the champion and the other an aspiring professor who got second place in the semifinals. You two truly are one of, if not the most, popular couples in the region.

Him being really happy to have you in his life. He's glad he got to be your best friend, your rival, your ally and lastly, your boyfriend. He really cares about you, and seeing you even once during the day really makes his world brighter. He might work at Sonia's laboratory, meaning he can't always be with you whe you're running up and down the region, but he doesn't stop thinking about you even when he's studying.

Hello, did anyone ask for a cinnamon roll? Because you’ve got yourself the purest cinnamon roll of them all.

He’ll give you the warmest, comfiest hugs you’ll ever get in your entire life. Who needs sheets when you’ve got Milo and his hugs to warm you up when it gets cold?

I can’t help but think that he really loves cuddling. Whether it’s in bed during winter, or in the living room on the sofa, he’d love to be able to cuddle with you. He obviously is the big spoon.

Dating Milo means signing up for one specific duty: running after one of his wooloos at least once a week when the Gym Challenge starts. Lucky for you, his Yamper’s always there to help you and him bring the soft ball of wool back inside the gym, or that’d take hours. It’s not bad though, you always end up having fun running after those cute sheeps with your boyfriend.

Trying to wear his hat… And failing because it’s way too big. His shirts are also way too big for you to wear, unless you enjoy over sized clothes. He still finds your attempts at wearing his things adorable, though.

L: To say something nice about someone who isn't my favorite: This one applies to William Zeppeli.

For such the short time that we see him, he's actually a fun character. How can you not love a Zeppeli? This man just shows up like "Hey kid heard your family died, wanna breathe weird and have sunlight powers???? Lets go" he's all kinds of funky and I honestly enjoyed him despite him kind of being a neutral character to me.

U: Three characters from different fandoms and why I like them

Jaskier(The Witcher): Oh let me tell you about this absolute KING. I love him for his sense of humor: "Are you perhaps short of a marble?!" "YOU NEED A NAP" "Aren't you just the cutest....most terrifying thing i have ever seen--gERALT"

I enjoy him because while he's pretty much just a goof, he doesn't once fall into the stereotype of being the happy go lucky friend that you can treat like garbage and he'll come back like its no big deal. He genuinely was MAD at Geralt for what happened on the mountain: "Don't you 'Jaskier' me" (though I do hope things get patched up in S3, I will be so sad)

But also how he is an amusing character in general. He meets this guy who could punt him halfway across a room and immediately makes it his sworn duty to accompany him in everything he does. He writes songs from anything from telling folk tales "Toss a Coin to Your Witcher." Highlighting(semi-exaggerating) the story of how Geralt saved him from the Snow Elves. To "Whoreson Blues" where he is just telling the guards who grabbed him that he's done with their crap and can screw off.

Just argh, I could go on about him forever but I won't.

Leon Kennedy(RE): Yes I know. I'm a basic RE fan, sue me.

Alright so let's start: His flirty, sarcastic, and charming attitude is what got me invested in his character in the first place. (That's not all he is of course but this is supposed to be fun and im not going into all the upsetting details of his character)

I love horror protagonist who absolutely despise their situation and are vocal about it, I don't know if its because it makes it a little more realistic or what but I adore it. A personal favorite note of his on this is simply "Fuck this."

I also like his character because he also falls in line with the "I'm don't like anyone-*sees someone in trouble* HOW CAN I HELP?!" category. As in he prefers to do his missions alone(aside from the help of Claire, Ada, Chris, etc)

Though the moment he sees someone in trouble he's on it, even if it is fruitless(I.e. the attempt of trying to help Marvin In RE2 despite him being infected.) and being so heart broken over the loss of this man whom of which he just met "Marvin...no...it can't be."

Sacrificed his freedom to joining the DSO to ensure the safety of Sherry, a little girl who he knew nothing about but he'd be damned if anything happened to her.

Risking the trust of Helena and many others to ensure the health and safety of Chris in RE6. "He's been in this as long as I have, I trust him"

He also just such a dork, he tries so damn hard to be this sly badass yet he becomes absolute mush when it comes to helping someone he admires/is in love with. Its adorable.

Otacon. Let's me tell you about this big nerd.(similar to Leon, he's been through a lot and I will be sparing some details to keep this fun and light hearted.)

I like him because of how much of how he is unabashedly a nerd. He is who he is and doesn't hide that fact.

His name being the reference to an anime convention

He is too kind for his own good, even if its to people who weren't kind in return. He just has so, so much faith in those around him and cannot fathom the fact that maybe everyone is not good deep down.

He knew his girlfriend was manipulatating him, but he refused to accept it. Refused to accept that she could be bad. "She likes dogs, she has to be a good person. Please don't hurt her Snake."

Also his undying loyalty to his friends, I love this aspect about him so much.

While they DEFINITELY not starting on the right foot(See the the Snake lifting him up gif), he and Snake had a friendship that couldn't be replaced. "We make a pretty good team, huh?"

Otacon stayed with Snake up until his dying days, refusing to leave no matter how bad things got or how much things changed "I will remember you and everything you were"

And, his unwavering kindness, he has every right to be bitter, angry, and cynical, but he isn't. He dedicates all the time he could be using on those feelings to greater things.

Adopting Sunny, a little girl who he saw himself, especially the pain he went through as a child in her eyes. Vowing to protect her from any harm that could possibly come to her in his and Snake's quest in taking down metal gears.

Accepting Raiden as an unexpected Ally, despite him being deeply involved in the reason why Sunny almost died in the first place.

Much like Jaskier, I could go on. But this post is already way too long.

J: A Fandom that I wasn't aware of until I saw it on tumblr.

Team Fortress 2. I was aware of the game and the memes. But I had no idea how much of an community and Fandom following it had. I was surprised to see actual fan art, headcanons, fanfic and shipping about it. (Personally I follow it)
