I went to two thrift stores and got myself some clothes (& for my brother) and it made me want to clean out my closet. So I now have 3 bags of clothes in my car waiting to be donated!

I can barely begin to express how much the course of my life has been altered because of a 40 minute highlight video done by @jelloapocalypse and friends riffing over a 20 year old sky pirate game.

I made an off-handed comment after watching it together with two of my longtime friends, about how much I wish I had what Vyrsa had, and one of those friends STRAIGHT-UP TELLS ME that her and her wife have been crushing on me for a while.

The feeling was mutual, though I'd been of course hesitant to even hint at it.

Anyway now a few months later, we're a thruple, and we decided to honor the genesis of our relationship by cosplaying as the trio that made it a reality for my 30th birthday!

PinkCatNinja, me (CatComixzStudios), and ArtieStokes as Aika, Vyce Vyrsa, and Fina respectively, from SKIES OF ARCADIA!

And as a bonus, a comment I left on the video before my egg would crack completely (was still IDing as genderfluid at the time)

i designed a fun new hatsune miku design to cosplay, including a few alternate color schemes!! :D

turns out there are very few miku outfits where she has space buns, which i think is a real shame. they're super cute! i took this issue into my own hands and made a space themed design for her with buns and a big ol bow. it also has lights in it!! very spacey :3

A closer look at panel 1 of my gift for the mcytblrholidayexchange!

Had to include the signature sunglasses in the memes of course! My giftee also requested some reference to the Herobrine origins and the wither cult, so I left Eret with her actual glasses in the piece so that you could see his white eyes! For the wither references I added a netherite rib-cage corset and rose detailing on the underside of the cloak! I feel like wither roses are under-utilized. I also added some rainbow lens flare just for fun! My first time adding a lens flare and my first time drawing Eret!

i'm not the most well versed in animated princesses so i'd be happy to take other suggestions on this front, but when enchanted (2007) came out, every single goddamn person i knew (including some of my university professors) took the time to tell me that an animated movie had been made starring Me 😂

so i guess giselle, because starstruck is still a sona and shares a huge number of my core traits! i haven't seen the sequel or heard much about it, though, so i'm not sure how well it still holds up!

My first thought after seeing the new season six trailer: oh no, now Rayla's trauma is manifesting as corrupted Runaan!

Quickly followed by: Wait, the only other time I can remember seeing glowing red eyes like that in the show or graphic novels was when Kim'dael was on screen...

Went to a gay bar to hit on girls. It’s full of straight men????? SO. MANY. Who won’t stop trying to pick up chicks! And almost all the girls are straight and there’s so few of them too? Like at least they’re not bothering everyone like the men but come ON.

Anyway next time I guess I’m just going to a party at anime expo bc it’s a law of nature that no chick at an anime con walking around in a gojo cosplay has ever been straight in their life. ah the eternal cosplayer struggle: which version of the show’s color grading do I take as canon?

#cosplay #cosplay plans #RRD cosplay #I'm still waiting on my red fabric to arrive #and I want to make just a couple of tiny adjustments to the mockup before I start in on the black silk organza underdress #but in the meantime I thought I'd spend some time trying to figure out her earrings #there are a couple of versions for sale on Etsy that are eh pretty close #but I feel like I could get closer and probably for cheaper #the question now is really just what sort of red I should be going for in the lower stones of the earrings?#carnelian red? ruby red? garnet red??#I've found some carnelian bezel-set charms that look like they'll work #but on the cusp of ordering I suddenly worried that they'll be too bright or orangey-red #hrmm #both the necklace and the red fabric are on their way but shipped internationally so taking their sweet time #maybe I'll just bookmark stuff for now and come back to the earring question once I have those two in my hands #hmm hmm

This has been haunting me since forever. How tf does Kourin’s hair work.

Like yes I know she’s not the only person in cfv with Anime Hair but at least Aichi’s lil swoopy bang thing and Kai’s hairstyle and even Chrono’s fucking spiral could happen with enough hairspray and patience but how does Kourin’s ponytail hold her hair up??? The ponytail only seems to be connected to the hair in the loop, by all logic it should fall off the top of her head but it doesn’t how does it work 😭
