I love the college of winterhold. everyone there is casually deranged and there's like an alarming number of students and staff who threaten you immediately when they meet you. it's always one of the first questlines I do. which makes it even funnier when you get made the arch-mage of the college. I'm level 12 and got through this questline knowing exactly 3 spells. what do you mean you want me to lead the college. this school CANNOT be an accredited institution

#fun story #i ordered 3 things from hot topic. they shipped but never arrived so a couple weeks later i messaged them abt it #and went back and forth with them for a while bc their customer service agents cant read apparently #before being told i had to call bc one of the things i ordered went out of stock and i was replacing it w smth more expensive #so i call and im on the phone for like a fucking hour missing the 15 minute window i have to eat between jobs #and being on the phone at work for a while lmao #i finally get it done and the guy fucking forgets my apartment number in the shipping address. it's in the billing address tho??#so i email them AGAIN and im like yo your man forgot my apartment number. they cancel that order and place another #the effect this has is that the $14 payment for the more expensive item is cancelled as well. bc again they don't read #so im like sick i will effectively get these $60 pants for $15 (im very good at sales and also manipulating customer service)#but apparently when they replaced the order they put ny apartment number not in the address‚ but as part of my name?????#so i think its fucking up usps. but it came in 2 packages and 1 has arrived so i still have hope. but thats not the end #yesterday guess who fuckin calls me. its hot topic. my original order arrived to the fuckin store in my local mall #and theyre like i think we fucked up bc we just found this package but it says you picked up your order already. do u want it #and i was like yes? not really sure what package to be expecting and its my ORIGINAL FUCKING ORDER #so once this package arrives i will have gotten 2 of the same shirt‚ 2 kiki sign things‚ a sweater‚ and a pair of pants for $40 #and i figure i can return one of the shirts and one of the signs that i have duplicates of for store credit of their full price #so anyway yeah. thats been the past 3 weeks for me.

my personal headcanon for where plvspw falls in the canon timeline (since its not technically Actual canon BUT we know it has to take place post introduction of luke atmey since maya makes a zvarri reference) is that phoenix and maya were in london for the trial during maggey’s original trial with fauxnix and that’s how furio got away with pretending to be wright, because he and his assistant were off huffing hallucinogenic ink in the british country side and playing house while baking bread

alternately it happens RIGHT AFTER bridge to the turnabout and it was supposed to be a fun, relaxing trip for phoenix and maya after the trauma of hazakura temple and instead nick has to immediately watch maya ‘die’ Again and just continue to have the worst time because neither him or maya can catch a fuckin break

#plvspw haunts me that game is so fucking bonkers and also its so fucking narumayo coded #i just Know both phoenix and maya go home to their normal lives and feel this weird sense of grief for their lives in the town #LABYRINTHIA i forgot what it was called #anyway despite knowing those five years they spent as bakers were false memories they still miss that life in some way #because they got to be normal and together and hang out with any of the baggage of their lives #they were just bakers and friends and then suddenly theyre back in the real world where they have names and reputations and jobs and trauma

well. I added my recent work stuff to my resume today, but then got stressed and didn't even manage to edit it. the day isn't over so maybe I'll get more done, but aaaghaghghaghag

#I thought I just needed to add my new experince and call it good #except it is definitely made for applying to a job not a school #and i dont know how to change it or what all i need to change to make it better #like i feel like i should remove things but then it just seems really empty??#and i am also trying to plan a trip with my mom to go look at one of the schools tomorrow #because i completely forgot that was a thing i should maybe do?#i just started applying places without even thinking about the schools themselves #outside of if they were good/had the programs i want #i didn't look at price or the campus or how big they are or what cities they are in #and the one im looking at with my mom has two campuses and i have to pick which one i want to go to #and trying to figure out which one would be better is very confusing #wish they would just be like you will have access to these facilities at this campus and these facilities at this one #but they dont have that #and then also i need to figure out TA/GA positions and applications #and i am so stressed about that and keep putting it off #but like. i have basically given myself two weeks to get everything done and haven't done any of it yet #and i am going to cry and puke #do i actually think i can do this if the application is making me feel like this?#but i cant back out now because i have told too many people and asked for refernce letters #and also i do want to do it #but then i am also supposed to look for even more schools and have to do all this for them too #*sobbibng*
