I love mythology so much and it’s taking everything in me to not write a full fledge fic about a Cupid and Psyche au omfg

justttttt Cupid Bakugou who is just so, so fucking beautiful. he’s always been recorded by other mortals for being akin to sunlight himself—all golden hues and sharp angles and high cheekbones and massive wings. wings that span as wide as an entire village, that sparkle when the light hits them, loud when they beat to send him soaring into the skies above. but his mouth? his attitude?

everyone always wonders why he was never the god of war, instead. but he’s damn good at his job, with his arrows propped up on his back, swift with discharging them into another stupid mortal who’s fallen for the local towns idiot. but hey, they’re in love, and it’s his job to enforce that love go over well.

and then he sees you—the most beautiful mortal, that you’re even compared to the gods, to his mother. he wants you so bad, if not to treasure and keep you against his side as he travels over the oceans cold waters, than to keep you safe from the vile men who want you as their partner and the disgusting women who envy you for having it all.

omg and the part where he takes you to stay in his palace and asks you not to ever look at his face???? it’s killing him, to wear that mask to your nightly dinners, to be able to look at the soft curve of your mouth when you frown and ask him to reveal himself. to be able to look at how you stare back at him, eyes pretty and furious, frustrated and mad, wanting to go back on the conditions you agreed upon because having to sit across from him without seeing him is absolute torture. I am. vibrating.

im off the thought that most of these warriors losses are due to coaching decisions (wrong lineups) and bad luck (injuries, dray out so no defense, random nba players turning into steph curry on the 3 line— grizzlies 3rd unit hitting TWENTY 3s on them today????) but today’s loss was just so indefensible and bad that its actually hilarious. the silly and stupid and pathetic 18 turnovers, icing out klay completely— just no one at all on the warriors trying to find him i mean 5 attempts until the 4th quarter are you serious— and then sitting steph and trying to run a “save us klay” lineup with 6 minutes left in the 4th when he’s ice cold due to your own offense choices its just very very hilarious. TJD butter fingers and Podz too many attempts not enough shots and a shit ton of fouling lol not their best game but i also think theyre just rookies and honestly have put a lot on their shoulders due to just. everything thats happened this year lol.

there’s things out of our control that we could be mad about (our lack of calls as usual and the 5v8 i mean the amount of FTA the grizzlies got esp considering we got to the paint more than they did so thats just ridiculous lol) but at the end of the day they didnt play hard enough and severely underestimated the grizzlies due to their injuries which was just. so so pathetic like whatever this loss the warriors truly did this to themselves

#person: six vets have told me i should feed my cat this clinically proven prescription diet that literally doubles the life expectancy #of cats with this condition. but ppl on facebook say i shouldn't :/ what do i do #me: FUCKING FEED IT TO HIM OBVIOUSLY #some other fucking dingbat: just lie to the professional who is trying to save your cat's life ;) and feed them raw chicken instead #im TEARING MY HAIR OUT.#they'll all be like “every single vet tells me i should feed the specially formulated prescription food. idk why tho”#BECAUSE IT WORKS. IT FUCKING WORKSSSSSS #and then i show up like “hey my cat has had this disease for almost 2 years and hasn't progressed basically at all”#and they'll be like “omg what's your secret bestie” and expect me to list off a dozen random supplements or meds #or weird products that have no evidence behind them except “someone on fb said it was good”#and im like IT'S THE FOOD. I FEED HER THE SPECIAL DIET LIKE I WAS TOLD TO. THAT'S IT.#it's so exhausting and im tired of having this fight #but also if i can convince even one person to actually follow their vet's advice and give their cat the proper food. how can i not #it upsets me so much tho. like im in the group because they are helpful in some ways. there are vets IN the group #and they help you interpret blood test results and stuff and they are genuinely good in some ways #but when food is the number 1 most important thing you can do for ckd cats #and EVERYONE in this fucking group will just immediately try and talk every scared newbie with a sick cat into ignoring their vet's advice.#it boils my piss honestly #im half expecting to be kicked out of the group at some point cos most if not all of the admins including the lady who runs the group #are on the same bullshit. but what can i do #at least i did get some satisfaction the other day when one of the admins (who is a vet but can't give advice bc like. that's illegal #when she hasn't seen the cat in question) asked one lady what her vet thought abt x #and the lady was like “oh i don't trust my vet i prefer talking to you guys :)”#and the admin was like. okay well you're a fucking idiot. get off facebook and talk to an actual veterinary professional
