Since Y/n had just moved in with her boyfriend and his brother, none of her furniture was with her, and therefore she couldn’t film in her new office, unless she wanted to sit on the floor. So she made sure it was alright with both brothers if she could film in the living room. The two hockey players of course said yes, not having a reason not to.

“‘Why don’t you believe Italy is real?’”

Luke had just walked in to get water from the kitchen, not thinking anything of it as he listened in on his brother’s girlfriend’s video.

“Okay, ‘Italy’” Y/n says, making a quotation motion with her fingers, “There’s no way a country is actually shaped that way. That is the dumbest shape I have ever seen. Italy is filled with a bunch of goofy little guys too, number one being the Pope.” She says, both Y/n and Luke bursting into laughter.

“What the fuck?” Luke laughs out looking towards Y/n.

“Sorry about him. Anyway… I wish Italy was real.”

“Listen to me. The best post nut clarity-” Y/n gets cut off by her boyfriend laughing, while entering the front door with Luke, both back from practice. Y/n getting a “WHAT?” from Luke.

“Ignore them- the best post nut clarity is quitting a job you hate, you just think ‘what the fuck was I doing?’ trust me, quit your job. Next question.”

“You don’t know what that means.” Luke says, from his spot leaning against the kitchen counter, not looking up from his phone.

During Y/n’s first visit to the Lake House, Trevor asked if they could do the deaf, mute, and blind baking challenge. And of course Y/n said yes, together they got Jack to agree, as long as Trevor was the mute one.

“I need a towel.” Jack says, his hand covered in egg yolk, and being blind he couldn’t exactly grab it himself.

“Whisk it, love.”

“A towel.”

“Whisk it.”

“Baby, a towel.” The hockey player said, over pronouncing his words, hoping his girlfriend could read his lips. Trevor was just listening, while grabbing the whisk himself and whisking the batter.

“Whisk.”

“Babe. A. Towel.”

Y/n gives a confused look towards, what she calls their peanut gallery, looking towards Quinn for help. He points towards the towel for her.

“Ohhhh. Baby just say that.”

While Y/n was helping a blind Jack wash his hands, Trevor decided it would be best for him to pour the batter into the cupcake trays. All the while getting the batter seemingly everywhere. After drying Jack’s hands, Y/n turns around to see Trevor trying to clean up his mess.

“What the fuck?”

“What?” a clueless Jack asks, “What he do.”

“He got batter everywhere, it’s crazy because you’re not blind. So in theory you should be able to do that.” Y/n says, causing Trevor to nod along.

Also while on the Lake House trip, Trevor asked to film a podcast episode with her, which included all the guys. Y/n had to have some structure for the episode or it would just not be usable, the guys would talk over each other. 

“Would you rather never cut your hair again, or never cut your toenails again. Never cut your hair obviously.” Y/n said, reading the questions off her phone. 

“Yeah, hair.”

“Hair.”

“Never trim toenails again.” Trevor said into his mic. 

“Trevor. What?” 

“I would file my toenails.”

Y/n rolls her eyes, before saying, “I- yeah.”

“Smash or Pass Smurfette?”

“Pass obviously? She’s a 2 inch Smurf”

“Nah, Smurfette lowkey-”

The group turns to look at Luke, mouths dropped, as Y/n says, “We simply have to move on from that.”

“Yeah.”

“He hates it so  much, if it’s even close to his meal, he won’t eat it.” Luke cuts in.

“Okay, so how close to your meal could ketchup be where you would still eat it?”

“...Baby tomatoes.” Jack says, before all the boys burst into laughter, Y/n still laughing while saying. “Jack baby, we’re talking distance, sweetheart.”

“Can I ask you something?” Cole asks Y/n, looking from over Trevor. 

“Yeah.”

“Who are your top celeb crushes?”

“Just three?” Cole nods, while Y/n needs to think, “Have to be Harry Styles. Duh. Then… Florence Pugh, I love her, and Andrew Garfield.”

“Now fuck, marry, kill those three.”

“No.” Y/n says immediately, causing the guys to laugh, “No… Okay, Marry- No! Kill… I can’t. We have to move on or the rest of the hour will be me sitting here thinking about it.”

“Trev, to be honest, I can’t say I know much. I know that…”

“So that answers that.” Quinn says, after Y/n pauses for a few moments.

“No, I know somethings, I know that there are only five guys allowed on the ice, plus the goalie. But you know that.”

The guys are quiet for a moment assuming Y/n will name a few more rules she knows, but Luke speaks up when she’s still silent, “You don’t know much, huh.”

“Okay, what do you know about Digimon? We all have our areas.”

Despite everyone thinking Harry had a secret tiktok account, he really didn’t, sometimes YN would show him funny videos but he didn’t have the app.

YN obviously knew who Brittany Broski was because she was so famous on the app, first from the kambucha video and then for her love of Harry.

They were throwing around ideas of who should host the One Night Only in New York for Harry’s house and YN had thrown her name in the ring because she thought it would be amazing.

When Brittany accepted, she was already in New York for the show luckily, and YN was ready to greet her with her friend when they were led backstage before the show.

As soon as Brittany spots YN, who is waiting near the dressing rooms, the tiktoker gasps and looks at the camera that’s filming her.

“Oh my god, she’s more gorgeous in real life,” Brittany whispers to the camera, “I’m about to meet YN Styles better known as the luckiest girl in the world. She gets to kiss that man whenever she wants. Life goals.”

Brittany’s obviously nervous as she walks towards YN who is chatting with Lambert and Jeff, they haven’t noticed her yet.

Unfortunately the first thing she blurts out when she arrives in front of them and they look at her is (all in a British accent), “Hello, I’m Brittany. Harry’s future second wife. It’s a pleasure.”

She wishes she could swallows those words back up, her face turning bright red, and her eyes widen comically - terrified she just offended the real Mrs. Styles.”

“Thank god, you can have him. He’s a pain in my ass,” YN laughs loudly, ignoring Brittany’s handshake and pulling her into a hug, “Thank you for agreeing to host this tonight for Instagram!”

Brittany relaxes a bit, hugging her back tightly, and when they pulls away, Brittany speaks to the camera and says, “Note to the viewers, YN smells like vanilla and lavender. It’s amazing.”

Then Brittany is pulling out her phone, remembering she has a job to do, “Okay, I am supposed to ask you some fan questions. But can I ask you a few first?”

YN still has a wide smile on her face, Brittany can’t help but notice her large diamond ring sparkling in the light, “Ask away.”

“What is it like to have your name tattooed on Harry Styles’ arm and your wedding anniversary on his thigh?”

A startled laugh comes from YN, Jeff and Lambert also chuckling in good spirits, YN pauses not quite sure how to answer, “It’s nice. They were actually both a surprise to me. He got my name one random day in LA when he was touring there for Take Me Home with the band. And got our wedding date on our honeymoon in Italy.”

“Nice nice, what a romantic lad,” Brittany responds before asking, “Harry Styles’ recently told Rolling Stones Magazine that nearly every song he’s written is about you. Thoughts?”

“I think he was just trying to get on my good side,” YN jokes fondly before becoming more serious, “We’ve been through a lot together. We’ve gone through these good and bad experiences as we were growing up together. Most of our time and memories are intertwined and that really influences his music.”

“Awesome, one finally question,” Brittany states and is still nervously giggling because YN was so pretty and nice, “What does Harry do that gives you the ick? TikTok argues that he doesn’t do anything that can give anyone the ‘ick’”?

YN purses her lips as she thinks, “He sometimes takes a nap after he works out, still sweaty and gross. That definitely gives me the ick.”

“You heard it here first, ladies and gents,” Brittany announces to the camera before hugging YN again and cutting the video.

It was made clear to Brittany that she wouldn’t have the chance to meet Harry because he was too busy before the show - which honestly she was okay with she always joked that she couldn’t meet him.

Management and the camera crew had led Brittany to a set of doors where they told her she would be interviewing some fans but when she walks in, she freezes when she sees none other than Harry Styles.

She automatically walks away, giggling wildly and not knowing what to do for a moment before walking back in where he greets her warmly with a hug and laughs at her fake British accent.

Harry thanks her for hosting the pre-show and coming to the show - sincerity in his voice as he makes eye contact with those glimmering green eyes.

Brittany can’t help but say, “Honestly, this is so exciting. I got to meet YN earlier and she’s even hotter in person.”

That makes Harry bark out a laugh, looking back to where YN is sitting on the couch with Glenne, beckoning her over.

“I can definitely agree with you on that one,” He chuckles before wrapping his arm around YN’s shoulder and kissing her temple - they’re so cute she could cry.

Later on, Brittany hops on live as she’s wiping off her makeup and back in her hotel room.

“It was the best experience ever. I’m actually glad I met them. They are by far the most unfairly attractive couple on this earth.”

“Harry smelled just like the Tom Ford cologne. YN smelled like vanilla and lavender,” Brittany responds as she peels off her fake eyelashes.

“I saw Harry grab her ass like ten times in a matter of minutes. They are definitely not a fake couple. They’re married for Christ sake. It’s blatantly obvious how in love they are, Harry followed her around and kept kissing her.”

I love Brittany Broski. Like genuinely. She has made me able to realize that I don’t need to be dressed to the nines to still be pretty. She has made me realize that I can be funny AND still be taken seriously. She has helped me get through times that I didn’t think I would get through. She honestly is such an empowering and amazing woman, and I would do anything to be able to just give her a big hug and tell her this to her face. I appreciate her so unendingly much and I would genuinely do anything for her. I am able to go out in public in yoga pants, a baggy tshirt, and some fugly ass shoes and still be confident because I seen her wear similar things and thought that she looked stunning nonetheless. 👀👀 is there tea on Brittany broski that I don't know about? I've never liked her either but it's always just been based on Vibes™ for me

I'll preface this by saying: all of this is very petty and Brittany, to my knowledge, has not done anything horrific. I just find her kind of annoying. so if you're reading this and are like "Del this is petty and kind of bitchy" yeah, you're right, sometimes I just don't like people lmao. But there are a handful of things that annoy me and I've seen other people say annoy them as well

Some people don't find her funny or like her sense of humor; I personally have enjoyed some of her videos and I do think she's funny when she's just doing her thing and making silly sketches.

For me, the biggest thing that irks me is she reminds me so much of other straight women that put on gay culture for fun and are very performative allies. Some examples off the top of my head: she did a video with Trixie Mattel and said "ugh, straight people" and then got awkward and backtracked when Trixie pointed out that she was straight (Trixie was clearly very annoyed about this). She wore a "daddy I love him" shirt to an event (inspired by Harry) when the shirt was created by a queer band to celebrate MLMs and it feels weird for a straight woman to wear it (I have the same criticism for any non-MLM Harry fans who wear that shirt). Recently she made a video like "happy pride month, I'm clocking in my ally duties" and it was her dancing around in a sparkly dress, which is...whatever but it's very much "I'm a straight woman who loves to make pride all about me"

Specifically for Harry fans, most are annoyed about the way she talks about Harry or they find it very cringey; people have also said she talked badly about Louis but I can't find any receipts about that so I can't confirm that happened. But HSHQ obviously likes her bc they sent her Pleasing PR in the past and literally asked her to host an event, so I get it that she probably won't be detached from Harry any time soon. I'm just going to have the image of Harry clearly looking for an exit while she asked him about pasta burned into my second hand embarrassment memory forever.

I really love the show Bad Buddy. I think about it at least once a day. But there’s very few people I can talk to it about. It’s a little more niche in the west and I always fear that I’m annoying people with my rambling. Even when they said they were okay with it. I’m somehow convinced I’m not entertaining enough or I’m being annoying. But about Bad Buddy, I absolutely adore this show. There’s many aspects that I love but let’s start with Pran Parakul, one of the main characters. His character personality is how I see myself and want other people to see me. Because those two are very different. At home I can ramble for hours about the mundane things. Talking with other people, though, is always horrific and I constantly doubt myself.

If I could, I would hole up in my house and never leave. Sure, always being home isn’t healthy or good for you, trust me I know very well. But somehow I can’t help yearning for being alone all day and having no one to talk to, because I never embarrass myself when I’m alone.

All of the characters I’ve ever kinned have been representations of what I could be if I cared less, was more free. And it makes me feel hollow. These fictional characters have more confidence to be themselves than I do.

Pran Parakul is confident and assertive in his needs and wants. He’s sarcastic and witty, always coming up with a funny reply in the heat of the moment. And yes, that is a fictional character. They have their lines written out and rewritten to be as funny and clear as possible.

But a real person that I, stupidly, look up to is Brittany Broski. I’m sure you’ve seen her a hundred times before. Famous for her extremely funny anecdotes and comments. Never ashamed about how pulling a certain face might look. She’s so quick and witty and it makes me feel like those goals that characters like Pran Parakul, Jake Peralta, Dylan Lenivy and so many more have set for me, are actually attainable. There are people that are funny like I want to be.

I’ll most definitely never be who I want to be. And I honestly never try. Being alone is so much better and the absolute worst at the same time. It’s a wish to be extroverted, to live a life of normalcy, but never being able to achieve that when your brain is, and will forever be, wrong.

Brittany Broski is a TikTok personality, podcast host, YouTuber, Call of Duty cosplay lover and overall relatable human being. Brittany has a huge following, her following count ranges from 1.3 million to 7.3 million followers across all platforms.

She skyrocketed into Internet fame when a Snapchat video of her trying kombucha went viral on Twitter, she was then dubbed the ‘kombucha girl’.

Brittany Broski is the definition of beauty and I truly believe that. I really do. Not only is she physically beautiful, she’s also genuinely beautiful from within. It’s a quality that I think is so rare to find in these new influencers that seem to be popping up left and right. The way she loves and cares for the people around her is just so beautiful and pure.

I feel like it’s incredibly hard to dislike her, you can say she’s loud or annoying but she represents the kind of girl I am. I actually think that most people can find something in her that they relate to. Whether it’s her sense of humor, her love for the arts, the passion she has for the things she’s interested in, the way you can tell she truly loves the people she has surrounded herself with or her love for Harry Styles. There’s something about her that you can find yourself relating to and that you can identify with.

I think the reason she is so relatable and why she has amassed such a large following is because she lets herself be herself on the internet. With Brittany you get the funny YouTube or TikTok videos about art history or videos that make you laugh until your stomach hurts or videos of her quite literally on the toilet that also make you laugh until your stomach hurts but, you also get her tears, you get to see her meet her favorite people. She has met Harry Styles, Greta Van Fleet and most recently Peso Pluma, she has posted videos of each one of these meetings and each time I’ve watched them I have cried. I cried tears of happiness for her, because I can’t think of someone who loves those artists more than her and to watch someone so deserving of having these encounters is such an exciting experience.

It’s hard not to be happy for her.

She started a podcast recently, The Broski Report with Brittany Broski, and I’ve listened to every episode, it has a wide range of topics such as Rosalia’s cultural impact to TikTok whimper audios. My favorite episode of the podcast is episode 19 titled Why I Left the Christian Church. Brittany grew up in Texas, her family has strong Christian beliefs and values. However, Brittany has left the Christian church as the title would suggest. I can relate to this as just a couple months before the pandemic hit in the US my family seemed to collectively decide that we also didn’t want to be apart of that anymore. We never told each other until we received emails saying that were to let us know that we could attend church in person.

This whole segment of the podcast began when Brittany was doing a slight deep dive into an Ethel Cain album that is about religion. Brittany goes into what it’s like to leave the church and to have certain opinions your family that is still in the church and in this mindset would never have. But, it’s this vulnerability that she allows herself to reveal on the internet that is just so cathartic. It’s so reassuring that you can see her, a strong, intelligent and impactful woman openly cry and be so immensely vulnerable, the feeling, for me, is indescribable. It reaffirms the idea of ‘she’s just like me’.

Brittany Broski has helped me be more comfortable with myself. I see so much of myself in her and I know everyone says this about her and maybe that’s why she is so loved. I honestly do, I see myself in the way she laughs, the way she is so infatuated with her interests, the way she is just like a little gross (burping in her videos or being on the toilet). She has single handedly helped me be more self aware and more willing to accept love from my friends and to give that love back. Watching her being more open and vulnerable has made me more willing to be vulnerable and honest with myself.

I have to thank Brittany Broski for these feelings and lessons that I’ve learned from her. I hope she knows how much she is loved and how impactful her influence has been. I wish nothing but success and happiness for her. Thank you for reading.

Surprise! Just as Drag Race’s 14th season hits its home stretch, All Stars is gearing up for one helluva seventh season, set to debut on Paramount+ on May 20. But this is no ordinary All-Stars: It’s the long-rumored and anticipated all-winners season, with eight previously crowned queens returning to the competition to vie for the title of “Queen Of Queens.” In other words, who is the super-est of these Drag Superstars?

Yesterday, the new season was teased with an early peek at Werk Room entrances, a classy RuVeal video, and hilarious queen interviews hosted by Brittany Broski and Sarah Schauer on Twitter Spaces. With so much excitement to take in, we’re recapping it all, queen-by-queen, to preview the wild season ahead. And, in an Official RuPaul’s Drag Race Newsletter exclusive, we’re sharing never-before-seen BTS photos of each queen from that gorgeous RuVeal video, which you can find below.

Prepare to re-meet the cast of All-Stars 7, eight worthy winners ready to slay the house down boots.

Jaida Essence Hall

“Hey bitches! She’s… back?”

Look right here, baby! One of the first to enter the Werk Room in All-Stars 7 is none other than the lovely Jaida Essence Hall, who memorably snatched our hearts and the crown in Season 12 after putting on one hell of a show in her living room (it was the early days of the pandemic, after all). Looking back, Jaida had the makings of a winner all along—she won her first challenge in the split premiere—but her superstar status became undeniable with the one-two punch of the political debate and makeover challenges, racking up three Maxi wins in total. And with some sickening lip-syncs, she’s even been minted a Lip-Sync Assassin. The polished pageant queen really proved she could do it all and be effortlessly funny while doing it.

A current cast member of Drag Race Live! In Las Vegas, Ms. Hall has dazzled audiences far and wide since her win, and comes into All-Stars eager to show her “full self.” Her sparkling RuVeal and entrance looks show that the queen has somehow found a way to perfect perfection, and her energy is just infectious (I died at, “America, I’m your favorite bottom!”) As she teased in the Twitter Spaces chat, “anything can happen” this season, and I can’t wait to spend more time watching this queen on my television.

Jinkx Monsoon

“Line???”

It was easy to see Jinkx as an underdog back in Season 5, especially as she faced off against the three-headed drag Glamazon known as “Rolaskatox” (Roxxy Andrews, Alaska, and Detox), but the truth is this Monsoon was a force of nature throughout the competition. I mean, she scored high placement for nine weeks in a row—who else can say that? She claimed two wins in her original season, including one for her uproarious and unforgettable Little Edie in Snatch Game (truly an all-timer), but Jinkx even made her off weeks look like wins, like when she smashed the Lip-Sync For Your Life to “Malambo No. 1.” Years later, Jinkx stands out as one of the most uniquely talented queens to ever become America’s Next Drag Superstar.

Jinkx looks like a goddess in this new RuVeal video, admitting it’s a bit intimidating to return to TV for the first time in nearly 10 years. The thing is? Jinkx never went away, with appearances in everything from Steven Universe to Happiest Season to her own hit show with BenDeLaCreme, The Jinkx And DeLa Holiday Special. With her perfectly delivered anti-entrance line (“Line???”), Jinkx proves she hasn’t lost an iota of that magic spark that made us all fall in love with her in the first place.

Monét X Change

“You know what they say: Monét changes everything.”

Hallelujah! Monét X Change is back on Drag Race, so you know we’re going to soak it up! She ranked in sixth place on her original Season 10, leaving an indelible mark on the competition with her sponges, pussycat wigs, and fierce lip-syncs, ultimately claiming the title of Miss Congeniality. But that was just the pre-game for All Stars 4, where she stepped it up big time, earning three Maxi wins before sharing the crown with her “twinner” Trinity The Tuck (more on her in a second). Funny, fresh, and with the operatic voice of an angel, Monet really does feel like she was born for Drag Race.

One of three previous All Stars winners, Monét enters the Werk Room as one of our most seasoned competitors with a star quality elevated by successful forays into acting and music. In the Twitter Spaces chat, she said she’s just there to have a good time, but, in the RuVeal, she also mentioned she watched a lot of Survivor during the pandemic, so she may have picked up a strategy or two. That, coupled with her hours of Drag Race talk on the hit podcast Sibling Rivalry (with co-host Bob The Drag Queen) and her current stint hosting The Pit Stop means Monét’s been studying up on the competition and did not come to play!

Raja

“Did somebody call for an eye-con?”

Feast your eyes on the return of Raja, the original fashion queen of Drag Race and the crowned champion of Season 3! Believe it or not, it’s been over a decade since Raja last competed on the show—when she bested a number of future All Stars including Manila Luzon, Alexia Mateo, and Shangela to end up on top—but Miss Raja is just as sharp as ever. She scored a total of three Maxi wins her season and quickly developed a reputation as one of the most sickening stylists to ever hit the runway, raising the bar for fashion on the show with her own two (perfectly manicured) hands.

Of course, Raja has remained a crucial part of the Drag Race canon thanks to her recap web series, Fashion Photo RuView (one wonders who might fill in for her to cover All Stars 7), so you know she’ll be bringing some top toots to the runway this time around. But will she also be bringing some villainy? In the RuVeal, Jinkx points to Raja as the shadiest of this new bunch, while Raja concedes she’s probably the most “skeptical” due to her age and experience. At 47, she might be the oldest of the season, but she’s determined to push back against any ageism in the fandom and showcase why she remains such a legendary performer.

Shea Couleé

“Oh, I didn’t know I needed an introduction”

Herstory repeats itself when the stunning Shea Couleé makes the first entrance into the Werk Room, just like she did in All Stars 5. I don’t know how it’s possible that this Chicago queen keeps getting more gorgeous, but just look at the material! Shea has always had Big Winner Energy, dating back to a stellar run on Season 9, during which she scored a whopping four Maxi Challenge wins—setting a record for a single “original recipe” season. She was the odds-on favorite for the crown if it weren’t for that finale lip-sync (you know the one), so it was only a matter of time before she came back to face off with stiff competition in All Stars 5 and join the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

So what could Shea possibly have left to prove in All Stars 7? In the Twitter Spaces chat, she hilariously revealed she’ll be channeling “Kerry Washington in Save The Last Dance” this time around—I’ll admit I don’t know what she means by that, but bring it on! Shea also said she’s evolved into her final hero form, which she’s eager to show off, and is just thrilled to be part of this cast’s special sisterhood. Even though she’s the cast’s most recently crowned queen, Shea Colueé has come to play and slay all over again.

Trinity The Tuck

“Body, body, and more body. The holy trinity has arrived.”

Guess who’s back in the house? It’s Season 9 finalist and All Stars 4 “twinner” Trinity The Tuck (née Taylor), quick to remind us that, among this cast, she is the queen with the most Maxi Challenge wins at seven. Yes, it’s hard to bet against this Southern charmer, a connoisseur of shade who made it all the way to the finale of her original season alongside Shea. Then she came back with a vengeance (and a new face) on All Stars, where she conquered a wide variety of challenges and knocked her lip-syncs out of the park. It’s no wonder RuPaul couldn’t resist making space for her in the Hall Of Fame: She’s as well rounded as those cheeks!

With Monét among her competitors, one can see how All Stars 7 might present an opportunity for determine who is the ultimate All-Star between them, but Ms. The Tuck says this season is all about having a little fun (and redeeming herself for her original Season 9 promo look, she joked in Twitter Spaces). At this point, Trinity is a veteran performer who’s traveled the world and won an awful lot of national titles, but she never fails to surprise, so I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us.

The Vivienne

“Don’t you just love a long, hot, stiff competition?”

Say “‘Ello!” to the first-ever international season queen to compete on All Stars! I think it’s safe to say The Vivienne is probably the hungriest for the win among this cast because, if you’ll recall, there is no cash awarded to Drag Race UK winners. That $200,000 grand prize has got to be looking extra juicy!

Checks aside, Viv is one strong competitor who more than lives up to the title of UK’s first crowned drag queen. She’s certainly rich in RuPeter Badges, having earned wins for the premiere runway, the bottled water campaign challenge, and, of course, her impressive turn as Donald Trump in the Snatch Game, which the entrance video reminds us Michelle once claimed “may be the best Snatch Game character in the history of the show.” Coming into All Stars, Viv feels a lot riding on her dainty shoulders as the sole representative for her sisters across the pond, and it’ll be intriguing to see if she gets chummy with the American queens or keeps them at a distance. But she should definitely not be underestimated—I mean, just look at that fabulously fierce entrance look, not a hair on her horned head is out of place! Long live the queen.

Yvie Oddly

“Don’t mind me, I just evened the odds.”

Hear that? No, it’s not the villainous howl of a mad scientist who just unveiled their monstrous creation onto the world, it’s just Yvie Oddly having laugh! This one-of-a-kind Colorado queen is always a breath of fresh air, and I’m thrilled to see her bending over backwards once again for Drag Race. Her ascendancy in Season 11 was an unprecedented one: With only one shared Maxi Challenge win under her belt, Yvie proved that snatching the crown isn’t just about track records (though, let’s be honest, had there been a winner for those “Queens Everywhere” verses, it would’ve been Yvie’s). A gifted performer with a chaotic streak, Ms. Oddly made for damn good television, and her win firmly planted a freak flag in the franchise’s history.

And her legacy stands strong, especially considering her drag sister Willow Pill has made it to the finale of Season 14. Beyond that, Yvie’s accomplishments include her unveiling as All Stars’ first-ever Lip-Sync Assassin competitor, being part of the inaugural Drag Race Live! cast in Vegas, and a triumphant Denver Pride performance (her hometown), which she considers a highlight of her post-Drag Race career. Even in shimmering All-Stars attire, Yvie is unapologetically herself, joking in the Twitter Spaces conversation that she already knows what it takes to be successful, so she’s just here to start fights. Burning Questions

New Formula

The All Stars series has made a habit of switching up its format with each successive season, so we can expect its seventh all-winners edition to be unlike anything we’ve seen before. Will lipsticks and cast voting continue to play a major role? Could we see a return to the team competition, a la the first All Stars? Might there be a game within a game… within a game? One thing’s for certain: With just eight queens, this is our most intimate All Stars cast to date. And, given that there will be a grand total of 12 episodes, we can hypothesize that this won’t be a straightforward season where one doll sashays every week. Again, I’m just a newsletter writer, so I promise I don’t know any more than you—but I’d love to hear your theories: What kind of All Stars are we headed for?

Am I The Drama?

The overarching vibe of the RuVeal video and Twitter Spaces interviews is that, since all of these queens have already earned their titles, they’re mostly coming to All Stars for a little fun. But that doesn’t mean it will be all smiles and laughter—this is a competition after all. Raja’s already been singled out as the shadiest, and Yvie shared how much she loves to stir the pot, so keep an eye on them for brewing drama. Plus, there’s the aforementioned shared win between Trinity and Monét, which will no doubt come up this season as the two go head-to-head once again. And what of alliances? Trinity and Shea have a sisterly bond that dates back to their time on Season 9, and I’d also love to see Jinkx and Raja sticking together, since they represent the halcyon early days of Drag Race.

Surprise, Surprise!

How will the Challenges evolve to test these queens on a whole new level? Who will stop by to guest judge? What other twists are in store? Beyond some sickening entrance looks, we ultimately know so very little about what to expect of All Stars 7, and that’s what makes it so exciting! May 20 can’t come soon enough.
