Spent some time compiling my favourite bokris fics and here they are! This turned out to be rather long because I wrote little descriptions for every fic as well as why I liked them <3

Kisses by applegrass23 I think the first fic on ao3 that solely focuses on Bokris and the one that got me into this ship because while it's angsty and unrequited, I loved the focus on Kris and it's so well written. My heart broke but I loved it so much.

Pink by cursed_throwaway Explicit. Power dynamics and humiliation and a focus on Kris's 🍑. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea, I liked it though.

we don't talk about it anymore by vanvanvanvan Bokris get-together fic with eventual breakup (their “creative differences”) only they don't get back together as a band afterwards. They meet up again eventually and try figuring it out, loved their dynamic and the focus on early bokris.

measured intervals of absence by Anonymous Fell in love with this one. I'd call it a rather experimental narrative, with Bojan trying to negotiate his changing feelings toward Kris and the anxiety he feels. Beautifully written. Very poetic.

(go on) Leave me breathless by Anonymous Explicit. Choking kink negotiations. One of the best bokris dynamics. They're just so loving and the trust they have is beautiful and also, yeah, the choking kink.

Release from the What happens on the bus stays on the bus - Tour Drabble Collection by Anonymous Explicit. Kris has a rough time, Bojan makes him feel better. Sweet and full of comfort and trust.

Ko me tvoj objem zakriva (When I'm in your arms) by Anonymous Longfic, finished. Favourite bokris fic I've ever read but be prepared for a 60k slowburn. Follows Kris from first meeting Bojan to meeting Jan, joining Joker Out and falling in love with Bojan along the way. Includes a lot of references to the band's history such as Kris and Bojan's first meeting, their break, writing vse kar vem, Martin leaving etc. Has my absolute favourite Kris characterisation, addresses his need for control and anxiety moments. His eventual realisation that falling in love with Bojan was inevitable for him as well as him and Bojan figuring out what to do with it really hit me hard, personally. If you like slowburn you will be rewarded with the most beautiful scenes at the end because they're SO sweet to each other and made me cry. If you mention this fic to me I probably won't stop talking about it.

Breakfast by ludolefebvre Coffeeshop AU. Trigger for Kris depression episode. Bojan is the cute server who tries to get through to him. Loved the focus on Kris and Bojan's puppy behaviour, even if it's an AU.

I've never seen you looking so lovely as you did tonight by JuliaBaggins @occhi-verdi-come-il-mare Perfectly encapsulates the post-Stožice high everyone was feeling. Mentions our favourite Kris Stožice outfit and Bojan and him working out their feelings for each other. Their dynamic is beautifully written and I particularly loved how Kris acted in this one <3

Interregnum by Nothing_Rhymes_With_0range Deals with Bojan trying to deal with his feelings after Martin has left the band and finding his solution in Kris. They're so unsure in this but also very sweet and yeah. They'll figure it out, as long as they have each other.

K is for Kind by Calli_Thaala Bojan and Kris finding adjectives for each other. Short, sweet, captures their dynamic perfectly.

Be My Baby by zojassparkle Longfic, finished. One of the best bokris longfic out there, following a pining Kris discovering himself and eventually realising that his feelings might not actually be unrequited after all.

Slap Your Tall Friend Day by Calli_Thaala Peak annoying Bojan. Joker Out's dynamic is also absolutely hilarious. Enjoyed reading it a lot.

that song doesn't have distortion by honey_and_venom 5+1, Soulmate AU, ongoing. Kris is Bojan's soulmate but they Do Not Talk About It. Loved the idea of their first words being their soulmarks and how sometimes you need a lot of time to really see one another because life and relationships are difficult.

The Space Between by SamePlaceandTime @reserved-fruit Post-Thailand fic dealing with all the Bokris moments we've seen lately. It's them slowly discovering that they might be ready to push their boundaries a bit further than just friendship and it's full of sweetness and comfort <3

Speaking of, special shoutout to @reserved-fruit's bokris fic prompt series, here on tumblr and here on ao3. I haven't managed to read all of them yet but I particularly liked Eat the Damn Soup and The One Where They're Found Out.

MJ and Peter's romance, and his friendships with Harley Keener and Nat are great. Oh, and Tony turns out to be Peter's bio dad. READ THIS.

Things I Almost Remember by IcedAquarius - probably the most interesting Tony is Peter's bio dad fic, purely because Tony doesn't know. More angsty than most fic I read - and be warned: it hasn't been updated in a while. Ned, MJ, and Helen Cho are standouts!

The Second Hand Unwinds by The Party Prince - Mobius gives Loki the chance to go anywhere. He visits his brother post Infinity War. A short one shot, and so sad and wonderful.

Love is Pain (Well, Darling, Let's Hurt Tonight) by OverlyObsessed223 - a crossover with the X-Men movies, where X-Men Peter and MCU Wanda can feel each other's pain. A bittersweet look at sibling relationships. Slightly more X-Men focused.

RECOIL by VulpeculaAnser - a season 1 rewrite of Agents of Shield, focusing heavily on Daisy and the trauma that would ensue if she got her powers earlier. Focuses on the found family relationship of the team. Tragically unfinished.

Steve Rogers at 100: Celebrating Captain America on Film by many - a hilarious historical archive of Captain America movies. Absolutely loved all the historical references. Minor Steve/Bucky.

Best Stucky Fics

What I'm Looking For by TessaBennet - a long, sprawling series of stories that rewrites all of the MCU with a Stucky focus. If you have to read one fanfic on this list, this is the one for you. It fixes canon in so many ways, and completely changed the ways I view many characters for the better (especially Natasha, Sam, and Wanda). The second fic, focusing on WW2, and the 6th (on the events up to/Civil War) are by far the best, but every fic in this series is incredible. Seriously. Read it.

Don't Ask by AnnaFugazzi -a WW2 Steve and Bucky have a secret relationship, and are found out. Realistic and HEARTBREAKING consequences ensue. Ends on a bittersweet note, and is amazing. Be warned - the sequels get much darker and deal with non/con. Personally, I stop reading here.

A Long Winter by dropdeaddream and WhatAreFears - A Stucky fic looking at what would happen if Steve didn't go into the ice, but Bucky was still the Winter Soldier. Steve and Peggy's relationship, and the Howlies, are written so well.

despite the threatening sky and shuddering earth (they remained) by praximeter - The Winter Soldier's mask doesn't come off - a slow burn that delves into the torture Bucky endured and the slow realization about who he is on Steve's part. Very dark.

Never Like This by RobinWood - another slowburn Winter Soldier identity reveal fic. This one in particular writes the whole avengers team so well, especially Tony and his reaction to his parents dying.

Time Travel and Other Fic-It Fics

the reactions of a dead man by agloeian - it's down to Loki to arrange things to stop Thanos. Some really funny bits, and a good look at the limits of what can be changed with time travel. The Loki & Strange relationship is great.

god loves everybody, don't remind me by napricot - Erik Killmonger gets stuck in a time loop. He learns the meaning of family along the way. The author writes Erik so well!

Bringing Him Home by sancuary_for_all - A post No-Way-Home fix it. Ned and MJ have gaps in their memory. Eventually, they piece things together. Really sweet Peter/MJ relationship.

If I Could Start Again by Taarko - at the end of Infinity War, Thor is sent back in time. The amount of lore in this fic is incredible! And the characterization of Thor, Loki, and Valkyrie is great! Very Asgard focused and goes deep into their history.

The Wyvern by emmamagnetised - Tony has a younger sister, who is in the car with their parents and is taken by Hydra. The trial of the Wyvern arc is wonderful and sold me on this. It's loooong, be warned. A Bucky Barnes/OC fic.

The Siren by emmamagnetised - a WW2 story about a spy for the Allies in Nazi Germany - who is a childhood friend of Steve and Bucky. Cute relationship between her and Steve.

I know it's been a REALLY long time but here we are! I'm sorry for leaving everyone hanging but A LOT of shit happened... But anyway, here we are, chapter four!

Y/N Y/L/N is chosen as one of the champions in the Triwizard Tournament with one of her best friends, Harry Potter. Along with the struggles of being one of the champions, she also has to navigate her feelings for her best friend, Hermione Granger. But, as far as Bex knows, Hermione fancies Krum.

Music rings through the Gryffindor Common Room as everyone cheers. I grin at the crowd as I walk through it. I feel people patting me on the back as I come down from changing. I see Hermione standing in the corner next to a girl from the year below us. “Hey ‘Mione!” I call. She looks at me and ignores me as she returns to her conversation. I tap her shoulder, she still ignores me. “If you’ll excuse her.” I say politely to the girl she’s speaking to. I grab her arm before tugging her to a secluded area of the room. 

“What the hell?” Hermione seethes. 

“I wanted to talk to you! You haven’t said a word to me since this morning!” I say in a hushed tone. 

“Has it occurred to you, maybe I don’t want to talk to you right now,” Hermione replies. 

“Why don’t you want to speak to me?” I ask, confused. I hear a voice call my name. I look over to see Avery wave me over. I smile at her as I hold up my pointer finger. 

“That’s why,” Hermione scoffs. 

“What?” I say confused. “Avery?” 

“Yes! Bloody hell, I told you I didn’t trust her,” she replies. 

“You don’t even know her, H,” I argue. 

“I know I don’t like you being with her,” she seethes. 

“What?” I ask. 

“I don’t like you being around her,” Hermione repeats. “It pisses me off! You called her Dove.” Her voice grows quieter at the end of her sentence. 

“Sorry, but you’ve been so busy being shoved up Krum’s arse that I’ve barely seen you besides classes and at night!” I argue, my voice growing louder. 

“I don’t spend that much time with him!” She scoffs. 

“Notice how you were his treasure today? You know who mine was? Fred. You’d think it’d be you, but nope. You’re in love with Krum now!” I laugh. 

“His name is Viktor!” She exclaims. 

“I don’t give a fuck what his name is. You have no right to try and tell me I can’t be involved with Avery while you’ve blown me and the boys off every moment you can to hang out with that git. Or is it just me?” I ask. Hermione’s silent as I shake my head. “I gotta go. Avery wants me.” I turn and walk away from the small girl as I walk up behind Avery and wrap my arms around her middle. I rest my head on her shoulder as she smiles. 

“Hi love,” she hums.

“Hello, Angel,” I smile. “What are you doing?” 

“Just chatting,” Avery replies. 

“Sounds boring,” I whisper into her ear. 

“It is,” she whispers back. I grin happily as I tug her closer to me as I tuck my face into her neck. 

“How was your day, Dove,” I say against her skin. 

“Stressful, you gave me quite the scare today,” Avery says as she rubs my arm. 

“I’m sorry. How can I make it better?” I ask as I press a soft kiss to her neck. 

“You could stay in my dorm tonight,” Avery replies. 

“Sounds good to me,” I grin. Avery leans her head back against mine as I kiss her forehead. 

A few hours go by until the party dies down. I feel Avery’s body slumped against my side as I help her up the stairs. She’s babbling drunkenly as she presses her lips to my neck. 

“Ave, what are you doing?” I ask as I push her face away. 

“Kissin you,” she mumbles as she tries to kiss my lips. 

“You’re drunk, not right now,” I say as I push open the door to her dorm. I see one of her friends sitting on her bed. “She’s drunk, but I’m pretty sure she’ll be out soon.” I smile at the younger girl. I set Avery down on her own bed before I pulled her shoes off. 

“Are you staying?” Avery whines as she looks up at me. 

“Not tonight, maybe tomorrow,” I say softly. Avery pouts as I cover her up. She falls asleep moments later. 

“I have to tell you something,” the girl across the room says. I turn to look at her in confusion. 

“I don’t think I’ve ever gotten your name,” I say. 

“I’m Clarissa, but you can call me Rissa,” she smiles. 

“What did you have to tell me?” I ask. 

“Avery was dared to do this, the whole thing with you. I heard her and her friends talking about it. She was dared to make a champion fall for her, and she chose you,” Rissa says softly. My heart drops as my mouth dries. 

“What?” I say softly. “You swear to Merlin you’re not lying.”

“I swear, I have no reason to lie about something like this,” she says softly. 

“What do I do?” I say as I shake my head. 

“Don’t get with her, don’t do anything. You’ll get hurt,” Rissa says. 

“Thank you so much,” I say as I walk through the door. I walk quietly back to my own dorm before I push through it. I kick my shoes off as I close my door. I walk to my dresser as I pull pajamas out. I change quickly before I get into bed. I fall asleep staring at the brick ceiling. 

Once I wake up my mind instantly flies to what Rissa said last night. I stand up and slip on a pair of socks and trainers before going down to the Great Hall. I saw Hermione sitting next to Ron with Harry and the twins across from him. I quietly slip into the spot between the twins as I grab a chocolate croissant. I eat it silently as I stare at the table. I feel a shoulder nudge mine, I look up to see George looking down at me. 

“You alright, Y/N/N?” He asks softly. 

“Avery, it was a dare,” I laughed quietly. 

“What?” George says angrily. 

“Her friends bet her that she couldn’t make a champion fall for her. And I was the oh so lucky champion she chose,” I reply. 

“I swear to bloody Merlin, if she wasn’t a girl,” he says angrily. 

“What’s the matter?” Harry asks as he looks between George and I. 

“Fucking Avery, that right cunt,” George seethes. 

“What’d she do?” Ron asks. I look at George as he gives me a look asking if he can say. I nod softly before he bursts. 

“She was using Y/N! It was all for a bet, her friends said she wouldn’t be able to pull a champion,” George says. Hermione’s face hardens as she looks at me. She gets up quickly as her face scans the Great Hall before she disappears. 

“Where’s she going?” Fred asks. 

“No idea, should we follow her?” Harry asks. 

“No, probably not,” Ron replies. I get a bit more food before I drink my pumpkin juice. 

I make my way to the Transfigurations classroom. I push the door open to see Hermione already sitting at our table. Her face is hidden by her curly hair as she reads the book in front of her. I slide into my seat before I look to the front of the room. 

“You alright?” Hermione asks, not looking up from her book. 

“M’fine, H,” I say softly. 

“You’re not, you’re allowed to be upset,” she says as she places a hand on my arm. 

“You’re not gonna tell me you told me so?” I ask. 

“Well, of course not. You’re upset and I’m not going to exploit that because I was right,” Hermione says. I nod softly as I look at her. McGonagall makes her way to the front of the room. 

“Today’s class will be held in the Great Hall so we can have a discussion,” she says. “Everyone leave your things and follow me.” As we get there, every Gryffindor is in the room. I smile as I see the twins standing behind a bunch of chairs while leaning against the wall. “Ladies on the right, gentlemen on the left.” I scrunch my nose up as I move to sit on the other side. 

“What’s this about?” Angelina asks as I sit in front of her. 

“No clue,” I whisper back. 

“Today we will be discussing the Yule Ball. It’s directly connected to the tournaments. The house of Godric Gryffindor has been the most honorable and humble house around this time. I will not have you besmirching that name by acting like a babbling bumbling band of baboons!” McGonagall says. 

“Right, she’s obviously never been to a Gryffindor party,” I whisper with a smirk to Lina. She lets out a soft snicker as McGonagall shouts at Ron. 

“Mr. Weasley, please join me,” she says. Ron looks at her in shock as he stands up and walks over to her. “Please put your hand on my waist.”

“Where!” Ron screeches as he looks at her.

“On my waist, Mr. Weasley,” she repeats. Ron slowly puts his hand on her waist as McGonagall takes his other hand. She begins walking through a slow waltz as I cover my mouth to try to stop the laughs from bubbling out of me. 

“Oh I wish I had a camera,” I say in awe. I look to see Fred and George mockingly swaying back and forth. Hermione elbows me softly as she glares at me. 

“Now, I hope you gentlemen will each take a lady’s hand and ask her to dance,” Professor calls. The boys sit silently as I roll my eyes. I see Neville stand up as he offers his hand to Ginny. She smiles as she takes it and they begin to dance around. I smile softly as Ron walks over to me. 

“Your hand m’lady?” he says obnoxiously. I throw my head back in laughter as I grab his hand. 

“Of course m’lord,” I reply in the same voice. He pulls me up as his hand sets on my waist. We sway softly as he spins me. I let out a loud laugh as he dips me. “Wow, Weasley! You got some moves.”

“Oi! I’m not just a pretty face,” Ron winks. I shake my head with a smile as I lift his hand above his head. 

“Now, spin!” I laugh. 

“Absolutely not,” Ron says as he shakes his head. 

“Come on, Ronald!” I say as I wiggle his arm around. He rolls his eyes as he duck under our arms and spins. I grin brightly as I watch him. 

“Now you,” he smiles. He twirls me around as I let out a laugh. Ron tugs me back to his chest as we dance slowly. “So, when are you gonna tell ‘Mione you fancy her?” My eyes widen as I slap his chest. 

“What are you talking about?” I ask, my eyes pulling away from his gaze. 

“It’s painfully obvious, Y/N/N,” he teases. I groan as my head falls to lean on his shoulder. 

“I can’t tell her, she fancies Krum,” I replied as my head lifted off his shoulder to look at him. 

“You never know unless you try,” Ron sings. I roll my eyes as I look around the room. I see Hermione laughs loudly as Harry spins her around. My stomach fills with butterflies as I smile softly. “You’re absolutely smitten!” Ron laughs. 

“Oh, bugger off you git,” I mutter as we continue to dance. He grins at me as he spins me again. I let out a laugh as he dips me again. 

Ron plops beside me as he lets out a loud groan. I shift my seat on the couch of our common room as I smile. “You alright Ronniekins?” I ask as I nudge his shoulder. 

“How the bloody hell am I meant to ask a girl to the ball! They’re always together in their scary groups, staring at us,” Ron says as he puts his head in his hands. 

“It’s not that hard, just ask someone,” I shrug. 

“Have you been asked yet?” Ron asks. I shake my head as my eyes scan the pages of my book. 

“I’m probably not going,” I say. 

“You’ve got to go!” Ron exclaims. 

“Why?” I ask. 

“If ‘Mione finds out you're saying that she’ll skin you alive!” Ron says as he sways us. 

“Is she going with someone?” I ask softly. 

“I have no idea. You know she wouldn’t tell Harry and I, we’d take the mickey out of her if she did,” Ron laughs softly. I nod in agreement as I put my feet on his lap.

I walk into the Great Hall for my study hour as I see Hermione sitting beside Ron and Harry. I sit across from them, next to the twins as Snape sets my workbook in front of me. I give him a tight lipped smile as I open it and begin to work. 

“Have you got a date yet, H?” Ron says as he turns to the brown-haired boy. 

“Not yet, it’s terrifying!” Harry exclaims in a hushed tone. 

“I know! How am I supposed to ask a girl when they’re always together!” The redhead whines. I let out a soft laugh as I look at the two. Fred tears a piece of parchment off as he scribbles on it and tosses it at his brother. Ron reads it before glaring at the older twin. “Right, who are you going with then!” Ron huffs in a whisper. Fred smirks at his brother before crumpling up another piece and tossing it at Angelina. 

“Oi! Lina!” Fred whisper-yells. Angelina’s head snaps towards him as she glares. “Will you,” he says as he points at her. “Go to the ball,” he continues as he mimics dancing. “With me,” he smirks as he points towards himself. 

“Yeah, alright then,” Angelia says with a small smile as she turns back to her work. Fred turns and shoots an overdramatic wink at Ron. I laugh softly as I shake my head. 

“Right, Hermione, Y/N, you both are girls! Come to the ball with us,” Ron laughs as he mimics Fred. Snape walks up behind him as he smacks him in the back of the head with a workbook. Ron winces as he rubs his head. I laugh with Harry as Hermione turns to look at him. 

“I have a date already,” Hermione says. 

“You what?” I say as my head snaps towards her. 

“Someone asked me, and I said yes,” she replies. 

“Who!?” I ask. 

“None of your business,” Hermione says coldly.

“I thought we were best mates!” I say in defense. 

“If I wanted you to know, don’t you think I would’ve told you by now!” Hermione says in a tone that mocked mine a few weeks ago. My face falls as I look at her. 

“Cool,” I say dryly as I turn back to my work. 

“Y/N, are you going to the ball?” Harry asks. 

“Probably not,” I say as I don’t look up from my work. 

“What?” Ron says slightly loudly. 

“Not going,” I say as I look up at the trio with a tight-lipped smile. 

“Yes you are,” Hermione says suddenly. 

“No, no I am not,” I say as I shake my head. 

“You have to!” Hermione argues. 

“No I don’t,” I laugh. 

“You are going. No arguing,” Hermione says. 

“We can go together,” Ron says as he waggled his eyebrows at me. 

“Fine,” I seethe. “Only because I don’t want Ronniekins looking pathetic at the ball.” Harry looks at me in shock as he gasps. 

“What about me!” He shrieks. Snape glares at us as I apologize. 

“You’ll find a date. You’re the chosen one. Every girl wants to get in your pants. Ron here is a little more awkward,” I reply. Harry grumbles quietly as I finish my work. I get up as I hand Snape my book and leave the room. 

“You have a package,” Ginny tells me as she sets a long box on my bed. My face lights up as I move closer to the box. 

“It’s my dress!” I exclaim. I tug the top off the box as I look inside. I pull out a long  dark red dress. The skirt is bouncy and made of a soft tulle. It flows to the floor as I hold it up. The top is made out of a silky material, that was covered in shiny red beads and sequins. The straps are thin and cross in the back. The neckline is a wide V shape.

“Oh my god Bex! That’s gorgeous,” Ginny grins. “You’re gonna look so pretty!” 

“I hope so,” I say softly. There’s a pair of open-toed silver chunky heels, they’re covered in sparkles. It has a strap that goes across the top of your foot and one that fastens around your ankle. I dig around the box to find three smaller black boxes. The first box has a silver necklace with a silver rose as the pendent. The second has a pair of gorgeous earrings. They’re crystal dangle earrings. They look like frosty ice more than anything else. The final box is smaller, shaped more like a cube than anything. I open it to see the ring. It’s the same ring my mother wore everyday. It has been in our family for ages. I take it out and hold it between my fingers. It’s gold and has a tiara like design. There’s a small oval shaped red stone in the middle with two tiny pearls on the top and bottom. 

“That’s beautiful,” Ginny says softly. 

“It was my mum’s. It’s been passed down to the eldest girls in my family for generations. And it’s finally my turn,” I say as a smile breaks across my face. I made a mental note to write mum later. I hang my dress up so it doesn't wrinkle before putting the shoes and jewelry away safely.

OR Kara and Lena raising Lex’s son while slowly getting together with a bunch of cute fluff and some angst thrown in as they work together to be the best parents possible to a scared little boy.

Digs a lot into the issues with fostering a child who was neglected and abused. But its very well done and there's a lot of fluff too. Kara and Lena slip into the parent role very well. But of course this whoe situation digs up issues of theirs too. They build a wonderful family and support net and finally get to be so so happy with everyone at their side.

He shoots an arrow like it's second nature to him, he prays to Eywa like he's been doing it his whole life. Who is this strange recom and how is he so extremely Na'vi?)

I ADORE just simple happy slice of life fics. I could read them literally all day forever. I'm reading that really long Avengers fic rn where everything is just going right, they're healing everyone's trauma, and just sticking it to all the villains in showy ways. God, it's so satisfying. Please. That's kind of why I love my little ideas in the humans never come back au. I want to constantly think about how great and healthy their lives are, or how great things are going and they're healing in Spider Sully lol. That is my absolute favorite kind of fic. It's like a slowburn life.

And that idea is fucked up. If he has Spider's memories though, he'd be Spider, and if not he's just a recom body. What makes the recoms recoms is the memories, I think. I am obsessed with the idea of them making Spider an avatar and letting him return to the Na'vi but keeping his human body hostage. It's so fucked, and I saw so many people mention it back when the movie came out I am shocked I've never seen a good fic of it.

Every night they don't know where he'll go back to, when he might get his link broken. Is he okay there? They want him to stay where they know he's safe and healthy in front of them, but the longer he stays in the avatar, the more his human body deteriorates. LIKE IMAGINE IT. Yes this is Spider Sully, but I'm on my aocorro or rocorro shit. They don't know what Spider looks like as a human. Falling for him in his Avatar while he's going through this, and then when they find his human body when it's at it's worst? Fucked. The potential is boundless.

It's not only the amazing story between Jaemin and his girl, but also expands the au so much and brings it to life. The ending made me feel like I was watching the finale of the last season of a TV show. So so good. Like I said, the parts can be read separately, but they're stronger when read in order. <3

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

241,146 since 2018 which is absolutely wild to me, particularly as i have about another 30k waiting in the wings. three novels’ worth. WILD.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

largely motorsports (formula 1 and formula e) although i do occasionally dip a toe into other fandoms. largely RPF, i’m generally not that interested in writing non-RPF although i do read it sometimes.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

there was always warmth between us (maxiel)

lol, my magnum opus. the stats on this one still blow my mind (almost 1400 kudos at time of writing). sometimes people tell me it’s a comfort fic for them which really makes my day. there’s a lot about this fic i would change if i wrote it again now (the dialogue especially) but there you go, hindsight and all that.

i was very surprised to see this in my top 5 but honestly i think it’s only there because it’s my oldest fic so it’s just had time to accrue more kudos? it was my first time writing fic in about 10 years, the characterisation is all over the place, it’s just…not that great i don’t think? but it’s sweet and porny and it’s lovely that people are still digging back through the archives to give it a go, so i’m not complaining.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

i try to! i went through a phase last year where i just got very easily overwhelmed by life and gave up on replying for a while (which sucks because i received some of my favourite ever comments during that period, so if i ever didn’t reply to your comment please know that i DID read and treasure it, i am just very bad at carrying out simple tasks sometimes). i tend to save them up and reply in batches, which is probably why i get overwhelmed 🫠

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

idk if i’ve written any with an outright angsty ending tbh! i am a sucker for a happy ending, or at least an ambiguous one. also frankly a lot of my fics are just porn and don’t really have endings per se lmao.

i guess my weird toto/christian all the blood runs hot before it’s cold has a not-happy ending in the sense that it’s clear that they doomed to repeat unhealthy behaviour with each other (to be explored in the sequel i nearly have completed once i get free of the landoscar brain rot) but it’s not angsty, really, because christian’s too far in denial to be angsty about it.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

i think there was always warmth between us, being a slowburn friends to lovers that ends with a declaration of love, probably takes that crown!

8. Do you get hate on fics?

not so far, fingers crossed it remains that way! i do remember being very nervous before i posted my first hardkink fic (the watersports fic eight of swords (reversed)) and feeling like i would be driven from the fandom with pitchforks, but thankfully that did not come to pass.

i do quite often receive comments that are just sort of…baffled? because i have a tendency to write extremely sexually explicit fics that are deliberately not actually that sexy. i like writing about the weirdness and grossness of sex, i like weird kinks and psychosexual oddness, i like unbalanced power dynamics and i like it when sex scenes aren’t all soft focus and simultaneous orgasms. so i think sometimes people go in to my fics expecting one thing and coming out with something else, but the comments are always very polite! also i think i have accidentally awakened something in quite a few readers but i consider that a public service.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

looool. do i. as above — i write a LOT of smut and it is usually far too detailed, generally very informed by kink and power dynamics, and unnecessarily verbose. i’m a huge fan of the writing of JG Ballard who wrote the most clinical, bizarre sex scenes that make you horny and disturbed in equal measure, and that’s what i strive towards in most of my fics.

even the ones that are actually incredibly sweet and romantic (to me anyway!) like just found me a brand new box of matches (landoscar foot fetish gremlin weirdness) or playboy in the grotto (landoscar piss fetish gremlin weirdness) are still not sexy in a sanitised way, they’re about love and connection being found through cherishing and honouring the weird and gross and unconventional parts of each other. this is a political standpoint for me as much as anything else, not to get overwrought about it — my queerness is as expressed through my love for the unsanitary and unsavoury and taboo as much as it is my love of people of different genders, and i want to reflect that in my fic.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

i don’t! i don’t tend to read them, either. maybe this is just a side effect of my preference for RPF but i just don’t find the concept all that interesting or appealing. i’m also not that much of a fan of AUs in general (rule 63 excepted), although i will make exceptions if they’re well-written and i like the concept enough.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

yeah someone reposted there was always warmth between us on wattpad a year or so ago and had to do the copyright strike thing. i felt very famous.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

i don’t believe so! if anyone wants to translate any of my fics, please feel free to ask.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

not officially! i think i am too much of a control freak for that tbh. but i have written a lot of fics that have been hashed out in forensic detail with @lost-decade and/or @scenetocause and so they probably should be given co-creator credits for half my fics.

14. What’s your all-time favourite ship?

oooooh this is a hard one yknow. I tend to love a ship very intensely for a few months and then lose interest. i guess max/daniel is the one i have liked for the longest time, although i don’t really read it much anymore because i…frankly don’t really like either of them irl all that much anymore? lmao. but yeah it’s probably them! i will also always have a soft spot for jeandre.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

honestly my jeandre opus a universe hesitant to grant us grace is not technically finished, i just left it where it was due to real life events impinging on it at the time. it’s a shame because i did love what i was doing with that fic but i can’t revisit it because it’s too wrapped up in other stuff.

16. What are your writing strengths?

i’m good at vibes! good at small details that give an insight into a character or setting, good at seeding ideas and at description. I think i’m fairly decent at writing snappy dialogue too, and people tell me i’m good at writing humour too which i am always quite taken aback by but i will gratefully accept!

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

long-winded sentences, not enough verbs/not making the verbs work for me, and too many adjectives. tight plotting (lack thereof). getting a bit too forensic in my sex scenes.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I do it occasionally when i’m writing people whose first language isn’t english, but i don’t speak any other languages well enough to be confident in using anything other than the odd word or phrase.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

ah, i’m ageing myself here… It was for placebo, on the fan forum they had hosted on their own website (god bless them, no wonder i’m so chill about the concept of RPF) around 20 years ago when i was 14. i learned a LOT from that forum. placebo are indeed largely to blame for stoking my degenerate tendencies at an impressionable age. good for them. the first fandom i wrote for on AO3 was in 2018 and it was F1.

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

aghhh it’s hard to choose but i think it has to be all the blood runs hot before it’s cold, the toto/christian madness. it took me such a long time to write but i feel like i really achieved what i wanted to with it and caught the weird psychosexually unhealthy vibe i was aiming for. i’m also really fond of playboy in the grotto, the landoscar watersports porn. it was my first time writing them and it kicked off an obsession. piss kink is my holy grail kink and i just found this so easy and fun to write, and i think you can tell that i had fun from the writing.

Favourite fics of 2023

Now that the year is over, I figured I'd cast my eye back over the previous year to see what were my favourite fics I discovered that year. Notably, they may not have been published last year--just the ones that I read during that time period.

I have absolutely no idea what they will be, so I'm curious to dive into my bookmarks...

MDZS/CQL

Stunted, Starving Juvenility by TomatenMark -- oooh, apparently it was last year that I consumed this. It's a behemoth of a story at over 700k words; it's a slowly sprawling tale, and I read and reread it during the same year. And it's been one of the rare WIPs that I have been following faithfully. It's an AU in which WWX and LWJ, early on during the Gusu lectures, have the extra-canonical chapters' dreams about each other (that's to say, the ravishing in the library and the peaceful domesticity) and this triggers them realizing their feelings, which in turn changes rather a lot of things. This sounds underwhelming, but the fic really is very good and rather epic in scope! I have appreciated how it depicts WWX--intensely intelligent, precocious, but in need of guidance; and he and LWJ are darling together. I only hope it keeps being this good for the next 700k words or however much it takes!

You'll See Me Again by anon -- oh man, I loved this one. It's sadly a short-ish WIP (12k> words), but the concept is brilliant: it's NHS, who's time-travelled back and is determined to fix everything by getting WWX as his younger brother, and it's told from NMJ's baffled point of view. It's very good! I just wish it were longer.

Mourning Dove by jaemyun - a WIP featuring a dark LWJ who's very fed up with the hypocrisy of the cultivation world. Hasn't updated in a while, though...

This was the year I read SVSSS! Boy, did I ever love it. This naturally unlocked a new fandom for me, so here are some of my favourite fics:

A Transmigrator and a Time Traveler Walk Into the Bamboo House by VeryCharismaticDragon - this is super lovely! This is Binghe who time-travels from after SQQ's self-destruction to the start of the story. And he's determined to change things, even as he's trying to understand them. The whole thing is great.

The More You Don't Know by Neery - this is sweet and angsty in just the right way. Binghe is convinced SQQ only loves him because he doesn't realize he's a demon, and does his best to hide. (There's also a canon divergence in there.)

The Peace Between Divine Pec- ah-hm sorry - uh…Peaks by AceOfDivineChlorophyll - I need to catch up with the latest chapters of this, but I have it bookmarked as "absolutely love it, mega oblivious SQQ thinks he's LBH's advisor and not realizing that he's effectively the empress (something everyone around him sees) and of course not realizing also that he's super in love with LBH."

This is also the year when I consumed this canon!

Born of Fire (We Shall Not Fall) by TheDefenestrator - I loved this fic so much. So much. It's my favourite take on omegaverse I've ever seen in any fic, ever. It's got a super lovely Ye Xiu/Han Wenqing slowburn and Ye Xiu joining Tyranny, but it's also set in this universe which brings this omegaverse context into everything and makes it extra delicious. It's so well done. I just hope it updates one day.

what fandoms do you write for? i have primarily published for zelda and one fic for honkai star rail, i've been working on a number of genshin impact fics but we'll see if i ever finish any haha. i miss the days when i could get myself to just post chapters as i wrote them but now i feel like i have to have all or a significant amount done before publishing :')

what are your top 5 fics by kudos? to hold the sun (zelink, complete), pawn structure (zelink, complete), i could only have you in my dreams (danstelle, slowly whittling away at another chapter), thunderstruck (zelink, complete), all in a day's work (working on a re-write!)

do you respond to comments? always and i feel guilty if it takes me too long to respond!! writing fanfiction is fun and cathartic but the reason i publish it is to talk to people about it. please comment on fanfic and feel free to respond again when/if authors reply - it's one of my favorite things!

what's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? ummm i'd have to say i could only have you in my dreams but that's mostly because it's "unfinished" as it stands right now. i love reading and writing angst in a fic but i'm too baby to give something an actually angsty ending :x

what's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? EVERYTHING ELSE but maybe to avoid a cliche (zelink, complete) because the entire thing was a cliche and predictable and i just wanted it to feel cozy

do you get hate on fics? umm i'm sure i have but i don't really dwell on it. if someone's hating on skill, go off, i'm not a writing major and i'm publishing fics for free. if they want to hate on content/themes, different strokes for different folks. if they think i've done something "wrong", then i'd much rather they bring it to my attention respectfully so i can do better and learn. but at the end of the day, fanfiction is for fun, and i publish things i love and am proud of, and i've been lucky to receive a warm reception!

do you write smut? if so, what kind? absolutely i do! i feel like what i've published is on the kinkier end of the spectrum for a more vanilla reader, but on the vanilla end for a more seasoned reader. i like playing with power dynamics and desperation and worship/infatuation/obsession.

do you write crossovers? if so, what's the craziest one you've written? i haven't, and i don't know that i would! i really like coming up with plots that rely heavily on canon (even if it's just in my own way lol), and struggle with writing concepts that don't. i'm not sure i could get myself to write a crossover, unless it somehow still felt possible within canon!

have you ever had a fic stolen? not to my knowledge!

have you ever had a fic translated? i haven't! i'm working on a specific fic that i'd love to have translated into ukrainian eventually, so if there's anyone reading this that might be able to help, hit me up!

have you ever co-written a fic before? yes! to hold the sun with @obsidiangst and @hyperphonic, and pawn structure with hyperphonic. i learned so much through both experiences (and, yes, i'm tagging you both to do this xo)

what's your all-time favorite ship? easily zelink, i've loved them ever since i was a kid. it's the pure love, the cyclical romances, the trauma and the angst and the slow burn... and the forever and ever and ever. i've been really into chilumi lately too - the dynamic of "more than meets the eye" childe and "aloof intergalactic goddess that cares, believe it or not" lumine. i just love pining hahaha

what's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will? *looks at wips folder* all?!?!?!?! just kidding (?). i'm really not sure! i did start a midzel piece a long time ago, inspired by carmilla, and i don't know that i'll pick that one up again. maybe i'll try to polish up what i have and put out a one shot instead of the slowburn longfic i wanted to do :')

what are your writing strengths? the easiest thing for me to sit down and write through to completion (pun very much intended) is smut! that's very often the part i finish first, while doing everything else in bits and pieces. i'm generally going for sexy but artsy, with the right mix (for me!) of blunt words and prose. i also feel that i'm good at characterizations that align with/expand upon canon.

what are your writing weaknesses? i definitely struggle with getting all of my thoughts onto the page, and i often have to read and re-read and RE-re-read to see if what i wrote makes sense (i.e. i didn't forget to include anything critical because my brain assumes it's already there). lately i've been having trouble with really connecting to writing, too, which makes the text feel shallow to me. working on being patient and writing one good sentence at a time!

thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? i love the idea and have a lot of thoughts so let me try to summarize! logistically, i would do it either in brackets (a la to hold the sun) or italics (if it was like a particular phrase in an otherwise english line) or just mention it, depending on the context. creatively, though, to me it's important (and fun!) to start by researching the culture. i also would be more comfortable including specific phrases/pet names rather than entire bouts of dialogue, unless i found a native speaker to help me!

first fandom you wrote for? zelda HAHA if i ever wrote any fanfic before that i don't remember it!

favorite fic you've ever written? hylia's greatest gift. it was something i felt was missing in the fandom, for a lot of reasons, and i think it represents what i'm best at writing as well as what i want to read. it's funny, it's lovely, it's sexy, and i really put no pressure on myself while writing it. i have something upcoming that can hopefully feel similar to me :)

Donghyucks aunt had recently given birth to a baby boy just a few months ago, who had been named Oliver. Donghyuck had only ever seen pictures of the kid and since there hadn't been very much communication between the two of you before the summer itself, you hadn't even known that Hyuck now had a cousin.

So naturally, you were surprised when Donghyuck showed up at your house and demanded you come over to his to help him babysit. A few moments later, you found yourself in his living room, playing peekaboo with the little boy.

The seven-month-old was absolutely adorable ("As adorable as I am?" "Shut up Hyuck"), with curly brown hair and bright eyes. His mother and father had gone out shopping and had taken Hyuck's mother with them, which was how the responsibility of taking care of Oliver fell upon the two of you. Not that you minded, of course, because babies were cute. Messy and a lot of work, yes, but the cuteness factor made up for it all.

The baby of the house wailed in despair when Hyuck made a motion to take it from you, his little hands tightening around your neck. You couldn't help but laugh at the offended look on your best friend's face, at the way the sides of his lips were turned downwards and his bottom lip jutted out in a pout.

"Baby whisperer," he accused, throwing you a weak glare. You shrugged, securing one arm under the baby and the other around his tiny waist so you could hold him better.

"I guess he just prefers pretty ladies," you teased, and he huffed, grabbing the bottle from the baby bag you had been provided.

"I can bribe him with baby formula."

Obviously, because bribing a seven month old is exactly what one should do.

"Don't corrupt him already Hyuck, not before the age of five at least," You shook your head in mock disappointment at his suggestion.  The cherry on the top was how Oliver completely disregarded the bottle, turning his head away and resting it on your shoulder. It seemed as if nothing Hyuck could do would impress him.

The aforementioned boy threw his hands up in a mixture of defeat and exasperation. Normally, Donghyuck was great with kids and they loved him, and Oliver was the only one who seemed to be completely immune to his charms. The irony was delicious.

“You have to warm it,” You instructed, “In the microwave, than you check the temperature on your wrist. Babies are like goldilocks, they can’t have it too hot or too cold, it needs to be just right.”

"Time to get some coconuts," Hyuck grumbled, and you raised a questioning eyebrow at that statement, confused as to what he meant by it. Rolling his eyes, he put his hands on his chest. "So I can fake having boobs, maybe then my own cousin would love me!"

This elicited a peal of laughter from your end, and he couldn't help but look at the way your eyes turned into crescents and the sides of your eyes creased with amusement. You always looked extremely pretty when you laughed, and this Hyuck loved being the cause of said laughter.

"Get a skirt out of palm leaves and go dance on a beach while you're at it," You snickered as you took the bottle from him, placing it to Oliver's lips, who was now open to the prospect of having it since you were the one giving it to him. "I think a coconut bra would be really uncomfortable though."

"I'll get balloons then."

"One grab by this little guy and they'll pop." His eyes widened at this statement of yours, looking down at himself and then at the little boy incredulously.

"They grab them?!"

"How the hell do you think they drink milk?" You pointed out, entertained by the fact that he hasn't figured this out sooner. "Not all the time, no, but sometimes. You know, to stablize themselves!"

He scoffed in disbelief. "My god, I can't believe babies get more action than I do."

You placed the bottle down and pat his back in consolation. The thought of Hyuck in that get-up was much too pleasing for you to not think about, or at least, make another joke at his expense about it. "Time to invest in that leaf skirt, buddy. Maybe then you'll be able to get your dick wet."

"Don't swear in front of the baby," He scolded in a motherly tone. "They pick this shit up so easily you won't even belie- oh fuck, I did it myself-"

You put your hand over your mouth to help stifle your laughter at his antics, shaking your head. There wasn't any other person in the world who could make you laugh as much as Donghyuck did and you loved him for it.

"He's barely a year old, he hasn't even taken his first step. All he can say is 'Mama', and that's the extent of his vocabulary, so I don't think you need to worry too much."

"Aunty would kill me though."

"I'll plan the funeral and make sure everyone gets cake," You said as seriously as you could. "Now, back to the skirts."

"I'll do it if you will," He responded without missing a beat, a cheeky smile on his face. You adored that smile, it had your heart skipping a beat and your stomach doing a little flip-flop on its own accord. You stared back at him with a softly smile of your own, and he didn't break the eye contact even for a second, holding it firmly as he looked back at you. Oliver once again wailed at the lack of your attention, snapping the both of you out of your little staring contest and you had to swallow the warmth that had been making its way up to your face.

I don't think any of mine have an angsty ending tbh... Mostly because I write a lot of porn but also because even when I write for myself to vent there needs to be a way through all of the horrible shit. Otherwise I'm just adding stress to my life!

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I'd say they're all fairly happy with a similar type of end goal! HOWEVER....... there's one I have planned that might stand above the rest in terms of happy endings, but it's like... a long term project that I have no idea when I'm even going to properly start.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

So far I haven't! I usually moderate comments, and the rude ones I got were more of the 'you clearly missed the mark of what I wrote' or not finding a polite/nice way of asking me to continue writing the fic

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Yes! The realistically unrealistic kind! Also, usually involves some kind of BDSM or kink related thing.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I won't say I'll never do it but I don't even have another fandom I'd be willing to write for at this time, let alone smash them together.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

No, unless I haven't come across it! I think it's cool if someone gets inspired by something I write though, especially anything that's not already common in ST fandom!

No, but it'd be cool if someone wants to!

I haven't! I've like.... done a lot of yelling about potential things to write though. I have a lot of WIPs because of some of you LMAO I think the actual writing part of things is a very solitary activity for me usually, but I'm open to trying something short and sweet with someone (if things like time and energy line up as well)

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

Steddie, if we don't consider fandoms I'm no longer actively reading things for! However I'm pretty easy to please, I love Steve and Eddie as characters and so seeing them in other ships (like Stommy and Hellcheer or a threesome version etc) is always a good time!

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I have two fics I started writing before I wrote the first one I published. They're important to me and also my writing has changed so much that I'm scared to even try editing them, because I don't want them to lose that specific thing they have that I might not be able to conjure back up.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Tension, when I get it right, it becomes the best thing about what I've written, no matter what the context is! Also I keep finding I write gay sex between two friends who are in love but just haven't Gotten To That Part yet, so I'd also say an emotional slowburn but a sexual flashfire.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Outlining, keeping up with motivation if I at all try to organize or plan in on purpose. I have to trick myself, like hiding a little pill in a piece of cheese, in order to have planning and organization in a fic. That's part of the reason why I operate in series instead of really long multi-chapter fics, because that's one way I can hide the pill from myself.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I haven't ever and I don't know if I'd be confident enough in my resources to do that! But it's cool when other people do.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

...so I was like 11 years old writing Inuyasha and Kagome...

ST is the first fandom I've published for in over a decade AND it's the first fandom that I've published more than one fic for.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

That's really hard to answer. I really like a lot of aspects from all of them! Dive (microfic, july prompt "pool", body worship) was my favourite for ages, though. And it's still my fave microfic for sure!!

Acceptance and Negation might be my favourite longer fic, there's just something about the antagonism and complicated feelings about being so horny over everything that I find really fun to write!

You Tried to Be a Hero by highkingpenny. 16k, no explicit sex really despite the rating, but I loved the banter between Marc and Steven (still crying over Marc calling Steven his little noodle boy)

If you haven't already, I'd also say check out anything marcsteven that's been written by the AO3 writers TheCarrot, usurp, lostmagician, gloss, pardillo, nakimochiku, It's_brilliant_thor, kika444, and snapdragonpop007. I'll read anything they write, and total, they make up probably half of my reading list anyways.

And if you don't mind WIPS (most of these update semi-regularly), Consider the Flowers (They Don't try to look right) by sacrificeplay and Narcissus in Blue by chashuu are two of the fics that gave me the most Moon knight brain worms. Fall Into Line by Yersifanel is a beast of a fic that hurts so good, What the Right Hand is Doing by ErinPtah has been really interesting so far (and you might consider checking out their Cover of Knight series if you like crossovers and headspace polycule fic), and if you're looking for angsty Hate to Love fic, friight just posted the first chapter for Love Song for a Deadman (i'm assuming you have but if you haven't, also definitely check out their completed beast of a slowburn fic The Measure of Things.)

also! you mentioned in that post, and iirc also alluded to it in My Saint, that Felps only became Pac's saint after they landed on the island and became coparents and such - I'm interested in that! what's your interpretation on Felps becoming Pac's saint? like how'd he get the idea to start praying to Felps in the first place?

(also: is this the same cinematic universe as It's Not A Fashion Statement where Felps is already a saint prior to everything else? because then I'm also wondering how that fact is generally perceived by people (including Pac) once they find out! unless that's planned for a later chapter of that fic in which case disregard this question LOL)

i think felps keeps the fact he's a saint under wraps until building the festa junina church where he kind of goes like: hey… do you know what would be funny? by this point it's less something he's actively trying to hide (we can maybe blame the memory tampering upon arriving to the island for that) and more something that just… hasn't come up. and feels kind of awkward to bring up because of how long it's gone without being brought up

i think pac started praying to him as a joke at first once he realised felps is actually a saint, and then everything went super downhill in his life so it became a lot more real. and then as felps' image spread to more churches + with pac starting the trend (i think it was him? apologies if not) it caught on to other people and just became more normal for the island (it fucks with felps a little… but that's too angsty for this)

cellbit i think is delighted when he finds out (because he loves that felps is strange) but then immediately devastated (mostly jokingly*. mostly) that felps never told him before. in which felps would argue he's left hints and it's not his fault cellbit never picked them up. i don't

(*this is going to sound weird if you don't know the scene, but imagine how cellbit was acting when he was being jokingly upset that felps compared his banana to foolish's yeah okay sorry for bringing that to mind for everyone. it holds a special place in my heart because joking about that was the first domino for "it's not a fashion statement" if i recall correctly)

i don't think mike is too phased by the concept, even with felps having "hidden" it from him. he's married to a god so divinity isn't a big deal to him i suppose and he has other things to focus on. i think he would also maybe be the most understanding as to why felps hid it from people for so long. no logic to this right now just vibes

pac definitely acts the weirdest about it overall. but again--i don't think he'd blame felps for hiding it? to him and mike it would probably be the same as them "hiding" their mind link (they don't really think to bring it up sometimes). but also pac likes to be petty sometimes and he loves gossip so he'd probably put on the same act as cellbit--complaining about felps keeping such an interesting piece of gossip for him!

i think all of them are wondering what the fuck he did to become a saint and how the hell that worked (his jokes about coming back from the dead suddenly don't seem too much like jokes anymore!) but especially because as mentioned in "my saint"… felps was a corrupt prison guard lol. (chapter 2 of "it's not a fashion statement" will go into more detail on this \o/)

i think pac is the only one who treats him differently, but it comes and goes depending on the context. cellbit was already weirdly devoted to felps so it didn't change anything. mike has mine and doesn't need anyone else to pray to. that kind of thing \o/

when i finally started reading the manga and hit the hidden inventory arc inspiration struck WILD at first i just wanted tbah to be a long angsty fic but i kept goin and goin and hot damn the whole series is a soft 85k :D ... not including some pieces that might come after the series is concluded...

and i love baby gumi (and tsumiki!) writing for them as kiddos was so so fun. as well as writing for my favorite trio (now a quad lol) all around this fic is my everything and i enjoyed every minute of it.

i was a lil nervous when i first started posting it, it's kinda a slow start and i know the romance is a bit less than present. it's a lot of relationship-building between reader and the fushiguros, and honestly she fights with satoru more than anything (and her and shoko prolly have more sweet moments than anyone else so far lmfao) but i wasn't sure if people would stick around for it since it's such a slowburn (85k of slowburn)
