My name is Char/Heart, you can call me either. Neither are my real name, just nicknames! I go by She/They, but I really just don’t care. I’m bisexual and am currently (8/31/24) questioning my gender. One of my nicknames is Heart because I like Chonny Jash and am a Heart Kinnie!! So Mind, go cry me a table.

You know why I hate having depression? beside the obvious DUH, is cause it doesnt make sense, Im here with my awesome siblings, drinking (not alocohol for me though) eating cupcakes and singing to the top of our lungs, every friking song we love, from Glee, to Bollywood, going throug anime OST, Metal Family, I LOVE METAL FAMILY, and crying watching Bluey, have you seen Bluey, wtf, why does it made you cry?

I started singing one song to my dog and then I just kept going. My throat is still a bit wonk from Saturday but it only affects my upper register right now so at least I can still sing lol

Most of my internet experience has been me making up personalities to live out confessional social fantasies that didn’t require putting my personal self out into the world to be judged, but something in me has changed. I really want to be my honest self, no lies, no adjusting stories to sound more interesting, etc etc.

Here are some things I love:

1. Music

Music is the most important thing in my life ever, period. It has been my imagination station, my getaway, my best friend, my friend maker, my anxiety pill, my weighted blanket, the gasoline I pour through my ears and into my brain to function like a normal human being. I have always wanted to be a performer for as long as I can remember. Little me was looking up karaoke versions of songs for as long as I can remember, no matter the genre. At the time, I had a very powerful voice. So powerful, in fact, that musicals were my favorite thing to perform with my sisters. All of the ones that were popular with neurodivergent animaniacs on the internet with their cute little animation music videos, those hold a special place in my heart and memory. I have to say, Hamilton is one of the greatest things to ever happen in my life, but I have water boarded myself with Hamilton content to the point where I can’t interact with the fanbase anymore. I look back with loving memory, but I must put that long gone special interest to rest. Steven universe is also one of the greatest things to ever exist in my life. It is my all time favorite tv show, nothing comes close. The music, the art, the emotion, the understanding, the beautiful metaphors and easy to understand explanations for real world problems, etc, etc. And last but not least, Taylor Swift. Not only is she one of the greatest cultural phenomena, she’s my favorite writer of all time, at the very least, the most important. I may only be 15, but my family has loved Taylor since the beginning. My mother fell in love with her music and introduced her to my dad, and he recognized Taylor’s pure talent. There’s a million videos somewhere lost in the depths of my mother’s Instagram archive of me singing Taylor swift songs on my hp laptop, my karaoke machine in the basement, on the piano, etc. Our song was the song I played on my birthday, my ten year old self was obsessed. I would also like to mention that I was so obsessed with Ariana Grande when I was 11-13 that I nicknamed myself Ari and blasted her music in my ears for two years straight

Amy Whinehouse, SZA, Lauryn Hill, Lana Del Rey, Beyoncé, Aretha Franklin, Ethel Cain, Every Disney musical ever, Halsey, Billie Eillish, Frank Ocean, Florence+TheMachine, and Mitski. Don’t get me wrong, I love the pop queens, but these specific musicians have been particularity significant in MY life.

Turns out, I don’t love a whole lotta other things, I’m sure I’ll find some more things to love later in life :)
