Hi, hello! Oh gosh, there's so many great fics out there! Can you believe we have 6000+ caitvi fics and counting??? It used be like 100 lol. I personally have a very long list of backlogs too haha (staring at my 30+ opened fics who are mostly 100k+ words lmfao). I'll list down some that are, at the top of my head, my favorites!

Do note the AO3 warnings too. Some can be NSFW, or some tropes might not interest you, and that's okay! Fandom should be fun for YOU! And if they're not your cup of tea, you can always just read something else that might pique your interest.

Even if some stories have tropes that I don't usually read (e.g. high school, ABO, royalty, etc etc), I end up loving them and getting into the tropes itself. It takes a great author to do that to me, personally.

My faves are King of Zaun and the Hunter and the Hunted series from Medica, and What a Week and the When we’re together series from Sunset, but ALL their stuff are great and you should definitely check them out.

but now he’s really fucked. god he’s so very fucked. he should have told you no the second he heard your folks weren’t home and ‘specially when you told him they weren’t coming back til tomorrow. no no no it wasn’t supposed to be like this. he was supposed to go slow with you, with this; to take you on dates and give you his last name and protect you but now you’re beneath him, thighs parted, heel of your foot digging into the dimple at his spine, satin sleep shorts riding dangerously high up your leg. he hadn’t expected you to know how to move like that; caught him by surprise you did, such a sneaky thing but now he wants more and knows he can’t have it. shouldn’t have it. shouldn’t want it the way he does but you’re repeating his name like a prayer and he hasn’t even touched you yet :( so what are you going to be like when he does :( the thought makes him shiver.

“baby,” he says, but he’s a weak man. so weak for you, for his preening little lady, that he has to stop, clear his throat, and try again. “baby-oh fuck-honey, hey, hey, shhh.” “just need you benny.” you’re in tears. “want you to be close. gotta have you so close. please? please more.” he’s dizzy. so dizzy dizzy dizzy that he’s gotta lay his forehead on yours and try to collect himself, his thoughts, but it’s impossible when you sound like that and when you’re asking so nicely? :( his polite girl. “don’t you love me, benny?” you’re playing him. there’s not a doubt in your mind that he loves you. he’d do anything for you and your lust addled conscience weaponizes his unyielding affection. anything to get him closer closer closer. “love me, benny. c’mon. please? please love on me.”

and when you put it like that… how can he turn you down?

More Tommy referring to himself as daddy stories pleeeeaaase!! They are so good!

what about. they're at buck's loft, and tommy's sitting on a stool at the counter, watching his boyfriend cook for them. he'd tried to offer to help, but evan had put a beer in his hand and gave him firm orders to sit down and relax. he sips at his beer, tries not to make his heart eyes too obvious as he watches his boyfriend work, his face adorably focused as he cuts up various vegtables- and then in the next second evan's cursing, "shit, shit, shit, ow," face wincing in pain as the knife slips, slightly, and cuts into his thumb. tommy's out of his seat in an instant, making it to his boyfriend's side just as evan presses a tea towel to the wound.

he grabs at evan's waist, tugging at him and turning him until they're facing each other, "are you okay? let me see, baby," he says, hands already moving to hold evan's; he cups one gently underneath the injured one, brings his other up to the tea towel, tugs, carefully, but evan doesn't budge.

"i-it's fine, tommy. i can handle it," he says and turns slightly, moves to step out of tommy's space.

tommy stops him with a hand on his elbow, his other still underneath evan's injured hand, says, firmly, "evan, let daddy see," and waits for the way his boyfriend's body softens, turns pliable in his hands, waits a second longer for evan's small nod before he makes a move to remove the tea towel again.

"good boy."

or what about tommy saying, "tell daddy what you need, baby," when buck's having an anxious, very bad, no good day.

saying, "daddy can't help you if you don't talk to him," after buck comes back from a shift all wound up and agitated.

saying, "hey, look at daddy, please baby boy," when buck's brain is being mean and he's feeling insecure.

saying, "it's okay, baby, daddy's got you," after a particually bad nightmare as he presses kisses into buck's curls.

Ughhh the thought of a Link becoming aware and trying to get out of the game but the game crashes.

Imagine have that lingering feeling that there's something else beyond during his journey but focused more on saving Hyrule. Maybe it's just because of the whole ordeal, right?

When the game ends, it's at that moment he feels something pulling him. He reaches out but a sudden force pushed his away. What was that? He already defeated his enemy. Was there more?

Link would go through wondering once in a while what was that until one day he meets Reader and feels that same feeling again.

oh the angst that could come from that, they're back to a normal life not knowing any better besides this empty hollow feeling that no matter what they can't seem to fill, like a puppet cut loose from their strings. It could be a trick from ganon or any other villain but he's dead dead and gone. so why does he feel worse for killing him?

there's two different paths that could happen after that I reckon, one where they're suddenly back at the start of their adventure and everything comes back to them (new game+) Or Linked universe starts, only this time the link that was aware finds that he's the only one (or maybe not) that feels like he's missing a driving force behind his actions but maybe he's just imagining it and should take zelda up on her offer of therapy, until you fall into hyrule, and suddenly it all comes crashing back and they're like a puppy being reunited with their owner never to be separated from you again, they'd sooner see Hyrule burn.

Architects can change their form right? I mean their bodies are pretty much a few dozen organisms frankensteined together, so it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to imagine that even though it isn’t desirable to them they would be willing to get a new body that is based on only a quarter of said organisms, a form that isn’t akin to their usual bodies but more specific for certain planets / solar systems. I mean canonically we know that they can transfer to different bodies so it isn’t much of a stretch to imagine they do have different types of bodies for different planets and solar systems. So what would a humanoid body look like? I’d imagine it wouldn’t look like an actual human does, perhaps a little uncanny (eyes too far apart, nose too far up, lower arms too long, you get it) or just full alien, maybe a mix of features too. Would they have hair or would it be considered inefficient? Would they be taller or shorter than the average human? Female or male presenting? Or androgynous perhaps?

TLDR: if architects would create a humanoid(ish) body would it have hair or not?

It has been far too long since Clive has read a decent book. He'd tried when he first came to Cid, he could often be seen reading books, but then he stopped. He never said why, never explained where his love of reading went. The truth is - it never went anywhere. His capability to read is what went somewhere.

After all, the army didn't exactly care about keeping up with his education and he had only been fifteen. He can still read some books just fine but the ones he really wants to read? He struggles with and so frustration makes him avoid it all together.

So when Cid suggests a quiet night in of reading, Clive tells him to read the book to him. There's no explanation as to why he asks Cid to read it, he's too embarrassed to admit it - though he hides that well.

And Cid never denies him such harmless things. Clive wonders if he questions it but that doesn't matter right now because Cid isn't asking.

Eventually, they're curled up on the couch with a blanket and a book that Clive has picked out. One he's been wanting to read but couldn't. One of grand adventure and fantasy and drama and the like - truly he's a theatre kid at heart and that will never change.

Clive curls up with his head against Cid's shoulder, but careful to stay out of his way so that he can read. His eyes close, listening to Cid's voice as he reads through the pages. Cid's voice is soothing, if he had realized how nice it was to be read to by Cid specifically, he may have asked a lot earlier than this.

Clive is silent the entire time but it is clear that he's paying attention to every word. It is only when one chapter finishes does Clive speak up.

"When I was younger, you could rarely catch me without a book or play of some sort. I miss it sometimes so.....thank you, Cid. I enjoy hearing you read to me."
