i know we’ve already talked at length about how like. most of the messages this show tried to have were undermined by how it wrote magic users, but. genuinely. sometimes the weird morals just drive me insane

Oh definitely Chloe would try to get Marinette into joining her for the littlest crimes just to spend time together and while marinette doesn’t want to join she may get dragged anyway but honestly I imagine it can be a stress reliever for Marinette since sometimes just going bat shit crazy can help you (which brings me to bats not being so happy about this 🤭)
The shenanigans they would get into together but Marientte is still a hero/vigilante so they would stick to at the very least anti-hero things

#manifesting it for tomorrow. baby boy we have got to get out of the dorms#I took pictures of his cage with a ruler so she’ll know how big it is and I’ll be like.#his cage is small with heating pads (no chance of fire) theres no way he could escape or make a mess#I’ve had him for 8 years and he’s never made a sound or smelled bad. he’s 7 inches long (shorter than my dick)#well maybe I won’t say that last part. but like overall Al is such a nonassuming pet#she wouldn’t even know if I moved him in tbh but I have an honor system so I’m disclosing him#he’s so much less messy than a dog or cat or a fish tank#he’s also an ESA so technically she can’t deny me housing because of him :/#anyway I’m very excited. One of my biggest problems is that I hate conflict and I’m a people pleaser, but man, for some reason that goes completely out of the window the second someone asks me to knit/otherwise craft something for them
#i was reading aita posts earlier because i am nothing but a timewaster and honestly.. the amount of people on there who are like#‘am i the asshole for not wanting to knit a king size blanket for my dentist’s daughter’s cousin; completely for free; including shelling#out £300 of my own money for yarn?’#bro i would’ve bitten every single person who was involved in that request#i have point-blank told people who asked me to make complicated stuff for them ‘i don’t like you that much’#at one point one of my mom’s friends and his family got kind of entitled and i shut that shit down Immediately#it started off with me making his wife two chemo caps and a pair of slippers while she was going through chemo#and then her man and the kids got jealous of the slippers so i was like ‘sod it why not. i have a bunch of spare acrylic and these are fun#to make’ so i made them for the whole family and called it an early christmas gift#then i made a ball for their cat and the dad sent a picture of it to my mom saying ‘this would make a good hat’#(meaning the colour scheme of the ball) and without missing a beat i said ‘tell him to put it on his head then’#‘but you like making hats’ ‘yeah but that yarn was discontinued. i used an oddment of it for the ball. i made myself gloves with the rest.#tell him i don’t like him enough to track down a discontinued yarn or unravel gloves for him’#then his wife found this fucking pattern for ‘monster pants’ which were monster-themed pyjama pants for toddlers#and had the nerve to ask if i would make a pair for both her and her husband#she was in the middle of offering to pay me when i said ‘you can’t pay me enough. you can’t afford my rates’#the pattern was only available in a toddler size. i would’ve had to convert it to adult size. and then it would’ve been a ridiculous amount#of yarn; and there were techniques on there like intarsia which are just an absolute bitch#i was like ‘straight up; if you’re asking me to do intarsia AND maths we’re talking down payment on a house money’#i saw someone on reddit say that knitting is like sex. if i like you and i find it fun; i’ll do it for free. if not; you can’t pay me enough#i just have absolutely no time for people who act so entitled to my labour. ‘no’ is a complete sentence and i will say it copiously#until you leave me alone. there are so many better ways to spend time than knitting for idiots#personal#rant

THE OTHER DAY i remembered this one OC i had when i was like 10-14ish and got in the ZONE
he was a witch named Lucky and his whole deal is he was. painfully unlucky. unlucky to a physically dangerous degree. fatally unlucky. now that i think about it it would make sense if he was cursed or something but i dunno i didnt think about that when i was 10 asjfasjfhsuhrjefsd ANYWAY his personality was very chill and his peers and neighbours don’t regard him super highly (they think he’s a little lazy and also kind of dangerous to be around because of yknow. the luck thing) but he’s a very skilled witch, he’s weirdly calm about the constant almost dying tho. he likes to make lame jokes
he had a friend who was an angry little talking cat who could turn human and for some mysterious reason made it her mission to stop him from being killed by the forces of the universe. he doesn’t know her name (neither do i to be honest, i think...it was Echo? its gotta be echo mist or mystery those were my go-to cat OC names when i was 10) and she’s not his familiar or anything (she might be someone’s familiar, just not his) but it’s nice to have the company

#hoo boy it's been bad#sudden extreme paranoia??#last night was the worst#like thats when i really realized something was wrong#i have been diagnosed with anxiety#ive been incredibly anxious all of my life#i have some meds to take as needed but i dont like how they make me feel so i dont take them unless its an emergency#yes i know i should talk to my psychiatrist about that but thats not the point of this post#anyway the point is that im used to constant anxious thoughts and i have coping skills and i manage it fairly well#but last night was like something ive never felt before#i closed my blinds because i was afraid someone would watch me while i was asleep#i locked my door because i was afraid my roommate would try to come in and attack me#both of those are very unfounded fears#but i couldn't shake them and i couldnt stop myself from shutting the blinds and locking the door#i made my gf delete *intimate* pictures of me because i was afraid she'd use them against me#even though i know she would never do that#i know all of these fears sre completely unfounded but i cant stop myself from thinking or acting on them#i dont know why this is suddenly happening and i hate it! i feel so silly to take these measures when i know theres no reason to#its fucking with my life and my relationships#im used to anxiety but this is a whole new demon#i keep looking at my window thinking that ill see a face looking back at me#i refused to tell my gf at first because it sounded terrible#'please delete those pictures because im afraid youll use them against me'#i finally got up the courage and texted her and explained the situation because she was not happy when i wouldnt tell her at first#so now i get to see her reaction to 'im going insane and its making me feel super paranoid and thats why im acting like this'#im gonna try to sleep now i guess

#I didn't want to rb this from anyone else because I'm having a fucking WEEK and his particular timing being rn is h i t t i n G#it's my 3rd day of very little sleep and today in particular I'm at a breaking point on the verge of tears#if you're like 2 people on my other socials you can confirm my sus posts today especially#my mom had hip replacement surgery Tuesday and everything went fine!! but changing plans and a lack of info made it more stressful#Tuesday I was awake at 430a to be at the hospital by 6a for the 8a surgery#originally she was supposed to be kept overnight and tbfh I was looking forward to the break and assurance#Welp. she was a-ok so change of plans to send her home. ofc I'm thrilled she's well but that was a long fucking day for me#and not a well rested night being subconsciously worried about her in the next room#I took Tues-Thurs off work but in order to not fuck myself I still worked! and took phonecalls from a couple people#I'm moving into a new department next week and I have zero brain capacity for that rn but I'm already committed#it will be great eventually but I have guilt leaving some people behind and idk what's really best for my future heh#with my T1D I live in fear of unemployment and being uninsured so stability is all I can focus on but I'm exhausted with work#on top of the overall picture that I've been caring for my disease my whole life. caring for family since I was 15 and it's never stopped#and I work 7 days a week out of fear so the next 48hrs? working a full day. caring for my mom. her pt coming. having our a/c repaired#then I drive to LA at 6. run the shop for the day because my manager is out of town. drive back home#I just have to make it to Saturday night for some rest#but guys I'm tired#and if you for some reason made it this far. this is the most fun I'm having lately#I spent the surgery day talking about Rian's inevitable breakup and that was so fun for me#I know my mom's cool and I almost cried several times today being overwhelmed so I'm now drunk and calming down but 😐#Alex Gaskarth tweets#yeah I'mma still tag it!! lol
