hi!! i’m sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but i always wondered what does “afab reader” mean? i’m genuinely curious bc i never understand😭

nooo! dw its not a stupid question. afab means “assigned female at birth”! its used for readers who may or may not identify as female some or all of the time/also used to clarify private parts!! i personally just use fem!reader but just recently i did use afab!reader for a fairy au that i’m working on, just cuz fairies aren’t technically “real” but you can expect a fairy to have the anatomy of a female!
