Let's go! I'll try to answer for both Tokyo Ghoul, because it's you asking =D, and LOTM which is definitely my primary fandom at this point.

E - Have you added anything cracky/hilarious to your fandom? If so, what?

I've made incorrect quotes and memes for both fandoms and I consider those pretty cracky :p.

But in terms of fics, not really ^^;. I do have light-hearted / humourous fics for both fandoms, but I overall consider myself terrible at writing comedy. In fact, there's one fic I've written in my entire life that I would consider "crack" and I deleted that one off the face of the internet because I was too embarrassed days after posting it. It remains the only fic I've ever deleted to date (my general philosophy is not to delete fics since someone out there, now or in the future, might enjoy it, but I made an exception for that one, it also had zero hits which made the decision easy :p).

F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?

Tough question. I never really leave a fandom once I've joined it - even if I move away from it, I'll continue to sometimes read fanfics / metas / see fanart etc. Case in point, Tokyo Ghoul. So my answer would likely be ~9 years, for the first fandom I ever joined (not naming it because it was before this account of mine :p). If that's not counted and we're talking about truly immersed in the fandom, I guess the longest is 3 / 4 years for Tokyo Ghoul.

L - Say something genuinely nice about a character who isn’t one of your faves. (Characters you’re neutral about are fair game, as are characters you merely dislike. Characters that you absolutely loathe with the fire of ten thousand suns are exempt, as there is no point in giving yourself an aneurysm over a character that you hate.)

Tokyo Ghoul: I choose Seidou. I think he's a very interesting character, an ordinary man in the CCG who contrasts everyone else then went on to become a half-ghoul in the most tragic way.

The reason I somewhat dislike him is his interactions with Akira in the first series, but I can't deny those feelings of jealousy, envy and admiration are all also very realistic.

It's been a while since I read Tokyo Ghoul so maybe I'm off, but I always thought of him as a half-ghoul who rejected his past humanity and only looked to his future as a ghoul. Meanwhile Amon was a half-ghoul who could not look to that future and only clinged to his past humanity, so I enjoyed how they were excellent contrasts to each other.

LOTM: Hmm... let's go with Cattleya. I don't really care for her and feel her role in Book 1 was less about herself and more about the people she was connected to (Bernadette, Frank Lee). But I also think she has an interesting past (growing up with Bernadette, links to Element Dawn and Moses Ascetic Order, becoming a pirate admiral) as well as future (her task to infiltrate the Moses Ascetic Order), and I really hope canon sheds light on it.

It's also great that she was the first Tarot Club member to openly defy the Fool, it was realistic of her to not have loyalty to a random gathering that she was pulled into by accident. Like, yes, the Fool saved her, but she didn't ask for it and of course she'd be wary of the powerful being who showed her kindness out of nowhere.

N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice).

Tokyo Ghoul: (disclaimer I no longer deeply interact with the fandom so my answer may be outdated :p) Generally I just want to see more of certain characters or relations, especially Akira, she's such an endlessly interesting character to me and I adore all sorts of fanwork for her.

Recently due to a blog on Tumblr (idk if it's fine to tag ^^), I've also gotten very interested in everything to do with Eto and love reading metas for her.

Finally I guess canon-compliant post-canon stuff, probably an unpopular opinion but while I have some issues with TG's ending, I'm more interested in reading what could have led to it than the ways it should have gone (which is most of what I've seen in the fandom regarding it).

LOTM: Tbh the English fandom is small enough that anything I like I could say there's not enough of :p.

I've answered this in regard to fanfiction before and I will reiterate one part of that- more Azik and platonic Aziklein in any form.

Second, more nuanced anything about the Demoness pathway and its members (currently reading COI on Webnovel and taking damage from some of the comments I see...).

Then... idk, I have like a dozen characters and relationships I'd like to see more content of :p, tough to choose between them. Probably because I just posted Blessings of Today, I'm thinking about Derrick + City of Silver + Moon City.

Tokyo Ghoul: Not a song at random, but I want to say Trust Distance by grief art always makes me think of Akiramon in the first series. It's about two people revolving around each other, never able to get closer, never able to define their relationship :p.

Tokyo Ghoul: Hmm... do we mean a completely different world or canon divergence here? I'll go with the latter: I've always wondered about a world where Kureo Mado lived. He sees his daughter train a group of half-ghouls, he might even be friendly with them over time. Then he gets to see his subordinate as a half-ghoul, his daughter joining him to help the ghouls... would he change his mind for the people dearest to him? Or would he continue to hold onto his prejudices?

Nothing for LOTM, finding my way through canon is hard enough without adding AU ideas XD.

the big theme is going to be past and future, i’m calling it now. i don’t speak japanese, so forgive me if this is incorrect, but to my knowledge “korai” means something from ancient times (aka the past) and “mirai” means future. also, sada could possibly come from “pasada” (past in spanish) and turo from “futuro” (future in spanish)

it looks like you go to a school at the start of the game, so the story probably starts with you going out to fill the dex as part of an assignment or smth

we’ve got a look at the box legendaries! they’re okay, i guess, not BAD or anything, but i’m not super big on them, they feel like the least creative box legendaries aside from dialga and palkia, but those two at least have different body shapes and types. also why do they have wheels for chests, is that necessary, what the hell

pawmi looks to be the pikachu clone this gen. having it unveiled so soon is new (at least to me, i only started paying attention to this shit at the beginning of gen 7), as is the fact that it looks like it might evolve into something, which the pikachu clones have never done, iirc

we seem to have moved away from early-route rodents to early-route farm animals as the first normal types. gen 8 had wooloo AND skwovet, but now we’ve just got lechonk (so far, at least)

also excited to find out what the early-route bird is, that’ll be exciting

so far, the previous confirmed pokemon are pikachu, fletchling, flaaffy, chewtle, bagon, larvitar, venonat, coalossal, toxapex, cryogonal, lurantis, talonflame, flabebe, starly, hoppip, petilil, psyduck, drifloon, combee, meowth, stonjourner, clauncher, pelipper, swablu, blissey, seviper, magnemite, and lucario, plus (by extension) all of their respective evolutions and pre-evolutions. seems like a good balance of pokemon from all the previous regions, though i’m unsure of if this means we’ll get the natdex or not (i’d guess probably not, though. this game will likely bring the total number of pokemon over 1000, and there’s no way they can fit all of them (plus alternate forms and possibly mega evolutions and such) into the game without sacrificing a decent amount of quality)

no regional variants have been revealed yet, which is kinda disappointing. hopefully we’ll get some later (maybe with the reveal of the region name), but if they get rid of that, i will be very upset

also i know we’ve only had two regions with variants (three counting hisui), but meowth is the same as its kantonian form in the og trailer, which means that this is the first time since that feature was introduced that he won’t have a variant. just something that i found interesting

speaking of nemona, this is the first time we’ve had a girl as the main rival! the closest we’ve gotten to that before were gens 3 and 6, where the rival depended on the player’s gender (and also shauna was in gen 6 ig), gen 5, where we got cheren AND bianca, and gen 8, where marnie was a rival, but not the main one (which was hop). tldr, i’m very excited to see what they do with nemona

continuing on the nemona train, according to the website she apparently has a smoliv on her team, which means there’s probably going to be an early-route water-type and early-route fire-type to balance it out and she’ll have one of those plus the starter depending on which one you chose

alternatively, i’m completely wrong and she breaks new ground by NOT having a traditional starter and having a preset team that doesn’t change based on your choices at all instead

we’ve got two professors now! they differ based on version, and i gotta say, as much as i love the futuristic aesthetic and prefer it over the historical one, i might pick scarlet JUST for professor sada

also, this is probably just me here, but i don’t like professor turo that much so far? maybe it’s the outfit (it’s definitely the outfit), but i’m also not a fan of his face, if that makes sense. definitely a “me” thing, but i’m not super big on more masculine looking characters, which professor turo seems to be. i know a lot of people disagree with me on this (callout post for @yamakagashiz /j), but i still wanted to put that out there

i mentioned this a bit earlier when i was talking about the past/future thing, but our professors aren’t named after trees! they’re not named after any sort of plant at all!!! at least, no plants that i’m aware of. this is unprecedented, as far as I know. like, there’s probably some random fuckoff professor in the anime that’s not named after a plant that only showed up a few times or something, but i never kept up with that religiously and also it’s been a hot minute since i watched it at all. regardless, another first in the series!

Reader Quirk + Some Basics

Quirk Knowledge

Reader’s Quirk is called Flora and Fauna. It’s a hybrid quirk like Todoroki’s.

Flora Overview

You can grow any plant in a matter of seconds, as well as control its limbs and such. You can also control preexisting plants.

Flora Drawbacks

When you use the flora half of your quirk too often or bite off more than you can chew, you get symptoms that are very similar to the Hanahaki Disease.

For those of you that don’t know what that is, you basically just start coughing up flower petals, but unlike the Hanahaki Disease, it’ll clear up in roughly half a day.

Fauna Overview

You can shape shift into any existing animal. So that means fictional creatures (i.e. dragons, unicorns, etc.) and dinosaurs aren’t possible. But rare or endangered animals are a possibility as long as you know what they look like.

Fauna Drawbacks

If you stay as one animal for too long, you’ll retain an attribute/feature (whether it be physical or personality/characteristics) from that animal even when you’re human for the next 24 hours. But only for the next 24 hours in your human form.

Example: If you turn into a cat for too long, you might have a cat tail or feel the need to sleep for the majority of the day, but if you turn into a bird 15 minutes into your 24 hours, then nothing about your bird form will resemble a cat. But the cat features will be back when you turn back into your human form.

Basic Things about my Upcoming Fan Fiction

The fanfic will be titled “Flora and Fauna” much alike the name of the quirk. Unlike my Incorrect Quotes which are gender neutral, the fanfics will have a female reader for the simple reason that I myself am female and it’s easier for me to write for something I’m familiar with (although the incorrect quotes are geneder neutral bc those are quite easy to make that way). But this might change depending on how comfortable I get with it, so idk.

I would like to take requests for one-shots in the future, but as of now, I kinda just want to establish my fan fiction and get more comfortable with (actually) writing for the characters. When I do eventually start accepting requests for one-shots, I will make another post about rules for that.

THERE IS A LOT I WANT TO TALK ABOUT HERE! For one, it might be one of my favorite pages that really hit me hard to the point of being my emotional mess of a self- I feel as though Bon really portrayed them reacting to being dead rather well? Or at least he did with Daniel and it hit in the feels right enough. Being someone who would die for Daniel, it hurt reading this for the first time because I'm sure we all want to do what Bianca does and just give him a tight hug. Did them freaking out happen in the original? I don't remember actually? from what I remember, Bianca was the one reacting the most to all of it- Bianca just crying over how Daniel is having this mental breakdown really hurt because she wants him to be okay and realizing they aren't would just hurt to the point of actually going and comforting him. I REALLY WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT HOW SHE FEELS WITH THE SITUATION- Was her breaking down because of Daniel being all sad mixed with her just reacting to the entire thing?? It's also shown in Chapter 3, but Bianca is really caring towards Daniel and most of the time wants to make him feel better in certain situations. If she wasn't able to save or even help him before, this is her chance now.

The part I feared the most, but actually turned out really good? Around the beginning at least! In this version, Francis has much more of a reason for actively being really upset at Michael especially due to what he just said. Although maybe he should chill a bit because some things he says are really eh?? Michael never meant it like that and Francis is just freaking out and yelling at him, but like I said, he actually has a reason and I can't stay that mad. I would hate this entire thing too, although I would be a lot more emotional than angry

1: sexuality headcanon - This is a complicated one for me. Reading fanfiction about criminal minds it makes me pretty uncomfortable when any of the characters are shown explicitly having sex, or even really… interested in it at all; my sex-aversion is just wierdly strong with this fandom. I find it easier to imagine him as solely attracted to women than at all to men, so any suggestion that he’s not heterosexual because he’s bi just feels. Incorrect? to me. But I do, on occasion, find it fun to think of him as being sexually attracted to Dave Rossi. In a really really abstract, I don’t want to read fics about it but I can enjoy moments that tease at that on the show. Like… the beginning of episode 8x02 when, in canon, Garcia calls Rossi’s Altruism sexy as Hotch walks in and says yes it is. I mean. Honestly I’m just more used to straight as default is all it is. He could be some degree bi, I don’t think I’m really against that. Lol idk. I do really really like a demisexual Hotch headcanon and have for years now I think. Demisexuality needs still the specification of if it’s restricted to a gender or not. I lean towards probably heterosexual demisexual but maybe when the mood strikes I think David Rossi is the only man he’s ever been attracted to. And I don’t exactly think he’s had a *ton* of women he feels that way about.

2: otp - definitely a complicated close call between queerplatonic shipping of Rossi&Hotch and me feeling weirdly strong feelings for Hotch/JJ (Jotch) which I had zero of the first time I watched the show but this time around I take notes and I just love their dynamic and believe they’re attracted to each other. Rossi & Hotch have more scenes that are emotionally intense in canon, are easier to ship in the fandom context, etc but I like them more platonically (platonic commitment-ly?)So for a definitely romantic and sexual type of OTP for him, I currently lean more towards JJ. Tbh I prefer platonic bonds on this series though.

3: brotp - as I said in my Arrow answers I’m not a fan of this term although the more all of fandom uses it, the more I’m worn down and i don’t hate it the way i once did i guess. It still feels really weird to me as encompassing of all platonic bonds, even between women? Even when “bro” would be the last thing out of either character’s mouth? Etc.

Ok so my answer. Well I’ve already said I adore Hotch&Rossi in a queerplatonic way actually as like my OTP. I love all of Hotch’s relationships so much… this is tough. Probably BroTP is Garcia&Hotch because he appreciates her in a really unique way, she calls him Sir, they have such clashing personalities and yet they both are some of the most sensitive and most aware of everyone else at all times. Their moments I’ve been collecting notes on as well for future potential vidding. (And btw yes I take notes on Rossi&Hotch scenes and other things, too)

4: notp - As i said when i answered for Arrow, I like this term more. Hmm. I’m not 100% sure I have a hard NOTP for him in terms of ships I’ve actually heard of people shipping. I’m pretty uncomfortable with any of his ships being sexual but a good fic could probably convince me. The biggest NOTP I can think of off the top of my head might be Foyett/Hotch lol but now I am tempted to see what kind of fic is out there out of like morbid curiosity for crack-fic level something or I don’t even know. I prefer a lot of ships not be shipped but I don’t have a particular NOTP right now.

5: first headcanon that pops into my head - that the only person on the show who knows about the trauma in his childhood (an elaborate sub-headcanon I’ve made up) is David Rossi although the other profilers suspect lots of the pieces. Even Haley knew less of the details than Rossi.

6: favorite line from this character - like with Oliver… Not really something I have memorized lol.I do remember really liking Hitch at the end of 4x17… Morgan and Rossi are on opposite sides and then they bring Hotch into it. M: “Rossi, don’t tell me you believe in evil.”R: “Don’t tell me you do this job and you don’t.”M: “I believe there are evil acts, but those are choices, brain chemistry. Reposting because this one is actually showing up in the tag. I have just finished up the design for the Spideychelle Network. Board member applications have just opened, if you click “FAQ” on the blog. While the network will be officially open Saturday, I figured I should do something to celebrate. Here goes: let’s try a weekend of fanfiction.
