I'm not sure where that previous anon is seeing people say that Ghost's Vault should be disqualified? I haven't seen ANYONE saying that.

If they mean the 'these bribes shouldn't be allowed', we mean going forward. Ghost's Vault won fair and square (or, well, with highly coordinated voter fraud, which is allowed and we did it too. So it's as fair as it gets for this sort of thing). It wasn't disallowed, thus it's not really something we can say should disqualify them. We're not saying 'no they shouldn't get their win', we're just worried that any FUTURE bribes of that nature could end in a very ugly situation.

I think some of y'all who think it's not a big deal haven't seen any of the horrors and think we're exaggerating when we say we're concerned about potential consequences. Like, please understand; Dreblr has had people deal with serious things like stalking, doxxing, and utterly deranged shit like people threatening to kill pets over MCYT fandom darma. It can get NASTY-- just look at what happened with the USMP and QSMP. People were in literal, actual, physical danger because of fandom shit.

While Dominionblr and their ccs seem fine-- lovely, even, and excellent opponents; we think highly of y'all-- we've seen other ccs (and their fans) dogpile on fandoms and ccs that they don't like.

The concern is that someone with that kind of mindset and that kind of fanbase might see the results of the previous poll and take the wrong lessons from it-- ie, that if they dangle goodies above their fans heads they can get clout. They might actually not release that stuff if they lose.

We've seen multiple ccs decide to get involved with various tumblr polls, so I really don't think that's a huge stretch to imagine someone deciding to do those kind of bribes again but not release the goodies at all if they lose.

What happens if a less chill fanbase genuinely loses something they care about? People don't always lose gracefully, and it would be so easy to point the blame at the winning team.

Does that sound paranoid? Yes, yes it does, and I fully acknowledge that fact! But it's a genuine concern because we've seen and been through too many horror stories of hatred and harassment.

Plus, again-- adding Actual Stakes for a dumb tumblr poll feels weird! It can make the other team feel like they're bad people for voting for their side and potentially making the others miss out on stuff they really care about.

While Dominionblr knew that their prizes would eventually be given regardless of the results, WE DIDN'T. We thought that us winning would lock you out of those prizes. There were a lot of people who felt guilty for voting, and that's just not fun! It spoils the enjoyment of the poll because it felt like we'd be huge assholes for pushing to win when there were Actual Stakes Involved.

Someone in both fandoms did assure the server I'm in that the prizes wouldn't be lost, which very much influenced me deciding to commit massive voter fraud. I don't know that I would have done it without that knowledge. But not everyone saw that message, meaning a lot of people still labored under the assumption that prisonfuckers winning would mean that Dominionblr lost a lot of really cool content forever.

All we want is for the polls to stay silly. We don't want to grapple with the ethics of potentially depriving the other side of important things for a fuckin' tumblr poll. Even if it's not us who goes up against a fandom like that, it's unfair to whoever does so.

TL; DR: Ghost's Vault won completely legitimately and Dreblr/DSMPblr has zero issues saying that. Nobody wants it disqualified. We're just asking for FUTURE bribes from ccs to be disallowed out of worry it could lead to harassment & generally suck the fun out of the polls.

Yeah I understand the problem, smaller ccs will want to interact with a poll about them if they find one, you cant really stop them from doing it, and this things as been made for fun and was never supposed to be some sort of accurate classification medium, just silly polls. But we dont need more drama in the mcyt fandom so I understand where you're coming from

So I've had a little DSMP "AU" sitting in my head for like three months. And I need to be unhinged about it for a minute. More under the cut.

So the gist of it is that Dream gets out of prison early, not by his choice. The server panics, Sam tries to kill Ranboo in the chaos, fails, gets thrown in for his Daedalus arc, and is released four months later after the server finds out he's been in prison for so long. Sam flees into the Greater SMP. Meanwhile four years pass and Dream never returned. The server has been bracing for him to come back for vengeance, and it just... doesn't happen. Tommy is starting to heal, he's getting closer with Tubbo and Ranboo again, and being a proper uncle to Michael (i.e. teaching him to be a gremlin). And then Tommy and Tubbo go to the L'Manhole.

It's big, it's awful, and it still hurts Tommy to look at. Brings up all the bad memories. But he's moving on, he's moving past it, he'll be fine.

They turn to leave and suddenly hear someone crying.

Tubbo goes into dad-mode. That's a kid, they're crying, they need help. So he digs under rubble and pulls out a kid with bad facial scars and missing the tips of two of his fingers. The kid is terrified of Tommy and Tubbo, but they can only assume it's because he was abused.

They take him home, get him some food and a bath, and discover he is covered in scars. Tommy and Tubbo are in shock, who would do this to such a small child?

They take him to see Phil, who is also horrified to see what's happened to smol child, and then Techno shows up. And he instantly recognizes the kid based on one of his facial scars. Turns out when you smacked the mask off your rival's face, it leaves quite the mark.

Tommy does not take this well. Tubbo and Ranboo kind of are okay with the fact that they helped Dream of all people. It helps that he's still terrified of the three of them. All of them are left wondering who turned Dream into a literal kid and who traumatized him so badly that he assumes everyone is going to hurt him over the tiniest of things.

At some point Dream is forced to run further from the SMP. Maybe being chase by Quackity, maybe out of paranoid terror, but he ends up a long way from the SMP. And runs into Sam, who is in his original body from the castle, and has been living alone in the woods for the past four years.

Cue Awesamdad and baby!Dream arc where Sam has to come to terms with everything that's happened and Dream has to learn to trust others again.

This has been sitting in my head for several months, and I am forcing myself to work on the Dreblr Gen BigBang event (which I am also very excited about) and a few other fanfics before I really dig into this one. Because I can fee this one is gonna take a while. But I had to tell someone about it, so here it is!

Watching Tommy's pov and man it feels nice to realise that I actually understood c!Dream pretty well. Like I get why dreblr is celebrating because if you pay attention to c!Dream lore nothing there was new. Also seeing c!Tommy actually listen to someone and understand them feels so nice too. Him realising that c!Dream is human and not just some kind of terrible villaine who hates him and specifically him. It felt so nice.

Another interesting thing if you look back at the previous stream in this lore marathon the idea of missing the time when things were simple has been always there specially with c!Tubbo mentioning it many times as well as the both c!Tommy and c!Tubbo talking about nostalgic things that happened.

And then there is the incident. A total destruction that connects everyone. It has this dark idea that in the end when everyone dies nothing really matters. It doesn't matter that c!Jack went to help c!Tommy nor it matters that c!Tommy understood c!Dream because they all are humans and humans aren't really imortals. It also is a nice symbol for a new beginning. I enjoyed it

Its important to remember that other cc that want to finish their lore still can do it the thing is it will happen before it in the time line and possibly and with it as well.

don’t worry, it’s from a while ago!! in the stream q did where he forces c!dream to write a letter to c!techno, c!dream calls him sir. despite this coming out in 2021 i (and everyone else in dreblr) have never recovered from the implications and questions (we are so normal)

I don't think I could ever leave I'm too dreampilled but like. I don't agree with what the bigger dtblr blogs are saying and I'm not particularly interested in what everyone else is doing, like dreblr talking about c!dream. The general vibe has been super negative which has been affecting me and making me not interact as much.

This plus how I really just don't feel like I fit in anywhere here and other self worth depression things has really negatively affected my experience. I haven't even been very happy with fanfiction recently, it's been either stuff I hate reading, so good quality-wise that I end up beating myself up for not being able to write like that, or a horrid mix of both.

I'll most likely just try to be offline from here, with periodical check-ins. My DMS and asks are forever open of course. That is, if I even do decide to take a break. I haven't before and I don't know if I can start now

I love how it'll be my busiest month and all this stuff is finally happening and I've been around since 2019 WHAT IS THIS TIMING acjjugdxvk. drama concept: Sam Awedamdude vagued reading Awesamdream fanfic on stream (and enjoying it) but was so non-committal about the fic description that the seven or so relevant Dreblr blogs were all pointing fingers at each other as they tried to figure out whose story it was or even if it was by any of them

Specifics:

This occurred sometime in December

Sam was in a VC but he might've been on someone else's stream, nobody can quite remember.

He talked about prison lore, and mentioned he;'d read "other people's writing" that he "thought was really interesting if intense" and that he started to say he'd "even read some stuff that was uh- well, I learned new like, terms. For how people label stuff." And then he mentioned that he and Dream's characters had a ship name, which he thought was neat. "It's a fun- fun concept. I guess. I read some interesting stuff." <- last thing he said about it.

For anyone that wants to go make fake posts, use the backdating feature to set posts to be in december
