chris had waited his entire life to find a girl he felt comfortable enough around to express his love.

there was absolutely no doubt in anyone's mind that chris knew how to love. he just needed the right person to share it with.

he dreamt of his dream girl multiple times and with each dream, a new detail was revealed to him. the pieces of the puzzle were slowly coming together for him.

the first detail he had settled on was her eyes. he knew they'd be pretty, no matter what color they were.

he could picture the way the sun would hit them at the perfect angle and brighten them up even more so than they normally were. and with the seasons changing, he had a feeling they'd be even more perfect in the fall or winter seasons.

his girls eyes were going to be his favorite thing. he just had to find the right ones to fall in love with.

and i got a feeling that you laugh sometimes and i'm pretty sure it sounds just like heaven opening up

everyone around him knew that chris was a silly, goofy guy so it was a no brainer for him to determine that his girls laugh was going to be super important to him too.

and he hoped that even when he was being his normal sweet self, she would still laugh and put as much love into it as she would normally do.

he could already hear her laugh ringing in his ears & it sounded so much like heaven to him.

he didn't even know her yet and he was already in love.

and i know that i won't get enough of your long or short hair blonde, red, brown whatever

the hair didn't matter to him as much. she could have any hairstyle with any color and he wouldn't mind one bit.

he would love the right girl even if she was bald.

GIRLLL we need the part 2 of choises where ollie continues his life without y/n by his side but he still keeps in touch with her like after every race he sends a voice mail and also still sends messages even though he knows that y/n won't reply. It was hard for both of them, when you know how desperately you need each other and there's nothing you can do about it. Y/n always listened and replayed the voicemails that Ollie sent, at least it cured her longing. She still watched ollie's races, he was progressing well from race to race and felt a little relieved that her decision to break up with ollie could make him focus more on his racing, seeing him on the podium and smiling, it was the thing she wanted most in her life. But y/n was unaware of the fact that all of his smile was fake. Yeah, he was happy that his performance had improved but it was all nothing without y/n. He became quieter than usual, not more cheerful and even more moody, blue vibe, and once arthur caught him crying alone. Maybe during y/n's graduation, he came and brought a bouquet of her favourite chocolates and asked her to come back to his side? Idk brooo just get them a happy ending istg😔👊🏻❤

Hi. Sorry if these are getting redundant but I’m about to qualify in Vegas. I know you’re only four hours away. Ollie takes on America, I guess…  Miss you, Y/N. 

Hi. Abu Dhabi race! Last one of the season! ‘Bout to qualify. Look, I know it’s been almost a year and I’m not trying to convince you to get back together with me but I want to see if we can- What? But I- ugh. Shit, sorry, I gotta go, but… Come back to the paddock, love.

It had been almost a year since you left Ollie. Though you mostly felt bad about how you left things, there was a part of you that had made peace with it. You both had your own lives to live and your goals that weren’t lining up with each other’s. So why try at something that’s wasting your time?

You missed him though. You missed the pre-race rituals where Ollie held you tight in his arms hearing the joyful shouts and clamor of the outside world, thinking of nothing but each other until Arthur practically ripped down Ollie’s door to get him into his car. When he raced, you knew he thought of you. He made it very clear that you were a priority to him all the time. Although radio chats clearly proved otherwise, you knew in the back of your mind that he was thinking of you.

“Ollie, you need to box mate. Box.”

“But she said to not because-”

“What? Box, Ollie, box.”

“No! Please, I can’t-”

“Sorry Ollie, team orders. Box. Box.”

You checked in on him every once in a while, of course wishing him all the best in his career. You watched some of his interviews and still followed Ferrari. You were never going to completely abandon him; you still considered him a good friend. But you’d be lying to yourself if you said you never thought about him a lot. He looked and seemed happy through the screen that you viewed him through, his bubbly personality shining through his dazzling smile that you missed oh-so-much. Sometimes your mind had wondered what happened if you came back that night. Would you have figured it out? Would the outcome be the same? Was Ollie really going to desert F2 and possibly F1 just for you? 

You always forced those thoughts out of your head; they weren’t something that was a part of your life anymore. 

Similarly, Ollie felt the same. He could and would never cease thinking about you, even in the most serious of situations. He’d notice small mannerisms in other people that you had, like scratching your nose when you were anxious, and would be reminded of you through certain inflictions in peoples’ words. His pre-race ritual was never the same, knowing that the cuddles and silent comfortable moments you once had would never return. Arthur, being the good friend that he is, even offered Ollie cuddles and extra support when you’d left, but it never was the same for him. 

Now though, you were currently about to attend your graduation party for university. After you and Ollie’s incident, you moved as far as you could from him to focus on yourself and your career. You moved to the States after a month-long debate with yourself as well as your parents. You worked so hard to get yourself into and through school, buying yourself an apartment, and spent many of your days in your new environment with strangers who eventually turned into friends. You had turned over a new leaf, and you felt like a new person.

You could almost say that you had forgotten about Ollie. 

Almost. 

Your parents had thrown you a huge party to celebrate your accomplishments throughout the past few years. They had invited extended family as well as your old friends from elementary school. You flew in a couple of days before your party, getting used to the time difference, reverting back to your old ways of life before you left. 

It was nice to be home, the comfort of your childhood house and environment made you at ease, along with your family and friends you hadn’t seen in a while. Your parents did a good job of decorating the house, placing framed pictures of you in the front room, balloons covering every normally empty corner. You saw family members who you hadn’t seen in years, chatting with them until somebody else stole you away. A couple of hours went by, and a few speeches were made courtesy of your parents and a few close relatives. You felt normal for the first time in a while. 

That’s when you turned and made eye contact with him. Ollie. 

You felt your stomach drop. Why was he here? How could your parents invite him? How do you address what happened? Of course you knew the answers, you were smart enough to figure out your next move, but your mind spiraled as soon as you saw his warm, brown eyes. You excused yourself from the conversation you were having, speed walking to the bathroom. You locked the door and took a moment for yourself.

Okay, you thought. Just act normal and pretend like you didn’t walk out on him. Easy. 

You fixed yourself up and walked back out into the organized chaos. 

About an hour later people started to leave, wishing you luck in the next stage of your life, telling you how proud they are and all that. But all you could think about was him. 

After everyone cleared out, you walked back to your kitchen seeing Ollie having a conversation with your dad.

His eyes flicked over to yours, hesitantly looking back to your dad’s. “Oh, um. Sorry sir, do you mind if I…”

“Go ahead.” Your dad smiled and walked out of the kitchen as Ollie headed towards you. 

He anxiously took in a breath in as you studied his figure. He was standing slightly hunched over, wearing a white button down shirt with navy blue pants. You’d always told him that the blue pants looked better on him, a nice contrast to the black and red he wears. 

His voice was low. “Please don’t be mad.”

“Why would I be mad?” You slightly smiled. When Ollie would come to your house unannounced when you were little, it would bring you so much joy. 

“Dunno,” He said, sighing. “Was your big day, and I had to be all dramatic and show up I guess.” A chuckle rumbled from his chest; a sound you haven’t heard in a long time. 

“Oh, um, those are for you,” He said, gesturing towards a box of candy surrounded by envelopes and stuffed animals on a table. “I know you probably haven’t had those in a while. You know, moving to the States and all.” 

It shocked you that he still remembered the smallest things, showing that he still really cared about you. There was a comfortable silence between the both of you, you were surprised it wasn’t an awkward one. 

“I just want us to be normal again. I can’t stand not having you in my life, Y/N. There’s this hole that you left and I’ve been trying to fix it with racing, my family. Fuck, I’ve even starting up knitting. And I get that you’ve moved on and have healed and everything, so I get it if you don’t want to do this, but I need you back in my life. This time it’ll be different, Y/N. I promise.”

You gauged the situation. Did you really believe that things could be the same after what happened? He was the sweetest most genuine person you’ve ever encountered, but would he still want more after you established you were just friends? You fought yourself back and forth,  surprising yourself of what came out of your mouth:

“Okay.” 

“I promise I won’t- wait what?” He expression changed, 

“Okay. We can try to be friends again. That’s it though. No reminiscing of our romantic relationship, no calling me late at night because you can’t sleep. None of that. I can’t do that again, Ol.”

“Okay. Deal.” 

All of what you felt that night started coming back, the guilt returning to your chest. This boy was  utterly in love with you, and you completely fucked him over. 

“Ollie, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have just up and left. You deserved better than that.” You looked down at the floor, internally cringing at your past mistake. You were embarrassed. 

“It’s okay. I forgive you, Y/N.”

“Thanks.”

“So, friends again?”

“Yeah.”

It made your heart happy knowing that you and Ollie were okay, but something inside you knew that it would never be the same.

Soooo as always here's my opinion on First episode of Loki's Season 2 :)

Here are the things that i really liked and feel like highlight of this episode imo

FIRST THINGS FIRST IT WAS REALLY NICE TO SEE Ke Huy Quan as OB aka Ouroboros... nice addition to the marvel family

secondly WHY IS MY GUY MOBIUS SO OBSESSED WITH HIS SKIN LMFAOO😭😭 HE WAS EVEN READY TO DIE BUT LOOSING HIS SKIN WAS MUCH MORE IMPORTANT TO HIM

LIKE EVERYONE IN THE ROOM WERE LOOSING THEIR MINDS ABOUT TVA AND FUTURE AND ANALYSING THE SITUATION AND HERE IN THE BACK MY DUDE MOBIUS IS WRITING " SKIN " ON A DUSTED TAB AND WONDERING HE WOULD MAKE IT OUT OR NOT😭😂 made me chuckle

But in the End Mobius not only pulled himself off to do the task even tho he knew he could fucking die and risked it all because of his Long distance low commitment causal Boyfriend LOKI 😭💀

And in the end credits i really cried a bit for Sylvie ik you all hate her but listen to me behind the " Bad girl, boss bitch " behaviour she's is just a broken little kid who's never grown up, all she ever needed was love,affection and somebody to trust on and wanted to live a normal life but she never got that and everytime she trusted and loved someone they either broke her heart and left her alone and that's the reason she became who she is its hard for her to trust anyone bcoz she doesn't want to get hurt again coz she feels she had enough and finally when she looks at this people having normal lives and talking their friends and loved ones she finally has a little bit of hope in her eyes and has happy tears and smiles a bit THIS IS WHAT SHE ALWAYS WANTED 😭❤ And i am sure this is the direction marvel markers will go thru for Sylvie's character this season and i am excited for the coming episodes

Sooooo many. Tbh ive really only watched through episode 1- I ended up traveling and ive been all over so i plan to binge and catch up this weekend. I’m in the air on a plane as we speak and nobody is gonna be thrilled with me full body reacting to a TV show haha.

HOWEVER: and, spoilers for s2 episode 1 below the line…

What the FUCK do they mean PULLED OUT OF THE TIMELINE????

Like, maybe we get more in the next episodes so imma have to watch and dont tell me- but like, in a major way Loki is a catalyst for the ENTIRE Avengers plot line- from Avengers 1 all the way to End Game.

Ripping him from the timeline fucks so many things up so like…

I mean, the Loki we know in this particular timeline already had his timeline re-set, so his timeline doesnt exist anymore. So like… what are we pulling him from??? Are we pulling him from other timelines??? Are we pulling him from his own timeline??? Does he not really exist anymore??? Is he just one of the TVA like the others??? How did the TVA not know they were doing this if they knew the loom was there all along???? Side note- that’s not a time loom, it’s a time spindle. Like not to get all fiber nerd about it but, it’s combining a bunch of small fibers into one thread. That is a spindle. But also the design is super cool. Also, i know we’re not going to get this, but i kinda want this whole season to be them setting up all the things required to get loki out of that episode 1 alive, you know? Like, learning how to manage the timelines like Kang does. Maybe we will get that later down the line (again, im behind) but like… im so curious. We have waited so long and i need to sit with my TV and my dogs and VIBE for hours.

Hopefully it’ll help me get back to writing too. I’ve been just…. Terrible as of late…. And im so exhausted to the point where (not to be dramatic) ive just felt like i dont even believe human kindness anymore. That in this world you have to fight to the death because no one will ever give you an inch unless you wrestle it from their hands.

The first person to notice the snow is you while looking through the window. You're the one who called the boys so they could see the snow fall.

I feel like the boys would act all amused as if they had never seen snow in their entire lives 😭 But overall, they'd be excited for the winter season!

The first thing they'd do is definitely get themselves some warm clothes and go out to have a snowball fight.

Obviously you have to go out with them so they don't do anything stupid and get kicked back to Arkham.

^^ THEY DEFINITELY INVOLVED YOU IN THE SNOWBALL FIGHT, YOU WANT IT OR NOT.

"Boys, what are you? 5 years ol–" *gets smacked in the face with a snowball* "hEY JONATHAN NOT FAIR I HADN'T SEEN THAT ONE COMING!" "Stop complaining and join us, then!"

Eventually you stop complaining and join them, so honestly it was fun to get your face hitted with snow by them.

Jerome is crazy af, so when any of you hit him in the face with a snowball he immediatly becomes an ever living nightmare and bombs you w/tons of snowballs

He's also competitive as hell 😅 BUT!! What matters the most is that you had a nice time.

Failed snowmans all the way! As much as they'd try to make a ""normal"" snowman like everyone does, oh god... it would be a complete failure.

^ But hey! It looked funny! So you laugh it off and pretend nothing happened.

When it's winter season, hot chocolate is a must at all times 100%

You'd make some hot chocolate with marshmellows for all of you, and would prepare some movies for all of you to watch while covered in blankets

Somehow you always end up watching a random Christmas movie...even if it's not Christmas Day.

"Hey, why are we watching a Christmas movie? Today is not even Christmas" "Shhh it's the winter season, we have to switch into a Christmas mood"

Jonathan probably snuggling himself with you if he gets too cold, and so do you. You're now 2 curved cold balls.

He definitely lets you use his clothes if you want or need to. He as well would wrap his own scarf around your neck even when he's using it.

BUYING MATCHING SWEATERS FOR YOU AND THE BOYS!!! ❤ If you know how to knit, you'd knit some scarves for all of you, too.

You're always near or just literally in front of the heater or fireplace because being covered with blankets sometimes is not enough.

If any of them catches a cold, you're like the mum/dad of the group, since you're the one who scolds and takes care of them.

Definitely cooking hot food with them. You're the one who always suggests which food to eat and look up for it's recipe.

Also, it's always either you or Jervis the ones who cook. Jonathan doesn't know how to cook and he always burns the food, and Jerome...well, it's always chaotic when it comes to him.

Winter season is also perfect for tea time! And Jervis is perfect when it comes to tea 😄 So he'd prepare for all of you a nice, warm and good variety of tea after dinner.

Lots of sweets & pastries get involved in the tea time as well 😍

To lighten up even more the winter spirit, you suggest to play some games together. As always, it ends up disastrous and a complete mess.

^ ESPECIALLY if it's a videogame you're playing. You just end up straight murdering each other...and probably some NPCs that have absolutely nothing to do with you.

Even more messier if any of you gets your character killed because of your own fault

"Don't worry, I got this. I'm a pro gamer 😎" *gets all of you killed by an enemy* "IT'S NOT MY FAULT, THE GAME GOT LAGGED"

But you generally have a good time together.

Are they chaotic? Yes. Are they crazy af? Yes. Do you have fun spending time with them? YES.

When Christmas time comes...it's a complete disaster

But that's even more fun! Especially when setting everything out for the holiday (christmas tree, lightnings, decor, etc)

They're just like little kids, and you have to take care of them and keep them out of trouble. Good luck.

Max V. / Checo P. - Daniel R.

This might not make a lot of sense but hear me out, Max is obviously going to stay there because he has a contract AND the team would be stupid if they let him go before the end of it.

Now, Checo has a contract 'till the end of next year. Depending on how he keeps his performance this year and the start of next, they might change him in the middle of the season with Daniel. Why Daniel? Because Red Bull doesn't have anyone better to replace him with, not at the same level of performance and they already know Daniel. I don't think they see Yuki prepared enough for being in a top team and it's unlikely anyone would want to be the second driver to Max.

Checo performed well enough for what he should do last weekend in Spa, qualifying P3 and ending in the podium. Horner and Marko say that they are happy with his performance but qualifying P18 and then overtaking everyone WITH THE BEST CAR is not the flex they try us to think.

Mercedes

Lewis H. / George R.

This line up shouldn't change, there's no need to fire someone. The thing is, I am a bit weirded out by the fact that they still haven't announced Lewis' renovation, especially because of all the noise about him going to Ferrari at the beginning of the season. Mercedes should already have done the renovation to say "we're still here, keeping him, we still have the most successful driver and he still has us"

This makes me think of two options: Lewis is asking for too much, Mercedes can't give it to him and Lewis won't back down from what he asked OR Lewis might surprise us with his retirement sooner than later. Not next season but maybe if he can't achieve the 8th in 2-3 years

Aston Martin

Lance S. / Fernando A.

Another line up that I think won't change. Fernando supposedly has a contract until 2024 and we all know how Lance is there. I've seen English media say that Lance might retire by the end of next year, but I don't think that having a teammate like Fernando, who is winning by a far margin, would demotivate him so much. No more to add here.

Ferrari

Charles L. / Carlos S.

The team would be incredibly stupid if they didn't want this line up for next year. They have Charles, who might be faster in qualy but fails in consistency and Carlos, who might be a bit slower in qualy but has incredible consistency and reading abilities. From there, Charles might continue with them for years but I think Carlos would go to another team after next season. It's clear how Ferrari doesn't like Carlos and he should look for a team where he is appreciated.

McLaren

Lando N. / Oscar P.

Lando was the one who caused more controversy about this, with every team wanting him as soon as the car performed better. But that's exactly the reason why he won't leave the papaya team. He already said publicly if I'm not wrong, on the lowest of the team he thought about leaving and taking someone's offer but now that the team is working and the results show it, he won't leave now that they have success.

Alpine

Esteban O. / Pierre G.

I am not really sure about this one, after all, they are changing everything inside and thus could result in affecting the divers. Maybe it's because I don't like Pierre, but I don't think they'll keep him after 2024. He's not performing as expected (by the team) I think and has been involved in bug crashes. He's a driver with lots of points, on the verge of a race ban. If I were a team principal I wouldn't like a driver "problematic" as him. If they get to manage everything correctly, Jack Doohan looks like the best option for them from their academy.

Williams

Alex A. / Frederik V.

Okay, hear me out. Alex has a contract with Williams until 2025 (as Horner revealed) and Logan is a rookie who needs to be given opportunities but he should've stepped up next year, not this. He still needed a bit more experience.

I literally know nothing about how Vesti is doing in F2 apart from that he is second in the championship. My point is, Williams is powered by Mercedes and they could do a deal like they did with George, put him there to gain experience and then move him up to Mercedes. What could Williams get in exchange? Literally anything because that team has literally nothing, it is still surprising to me how good they are doing lately knowing how bad their installations are.

Haas

Nico H. / Pietro F.

Günther does weird things with this team, he loves drama. My only reasoning after this is that he loves to compliment a driver a lot during a year and the next year he'll fire him. He did this with Mick and I already see the same happening to Kevin.

Giving lots of content to Netflix as always.

Alfa Romeo

Zhou G. / Theo P.

Yesterday some rumours of the team renovating Zhou came out, that's the reason I keep him here. I'm not putting Valtteri here because I think this will be his last season in F1. Since the start of the season I've thought that he will retire this year and those rumours last month about him doing it kind of made this though stronger. That and the fact that he's doing all these "crazy" things that Mercedes wouldn't let him do in a thousand years. I think he's just enjoying this season as much as he can before giving us the last bye.

Alpha Tauri

Yuki T. / Daniel R. - Checo P.

Another year, another season Yuki will spend in AT. I don't think Red Bull will ever let him try a seat in their top team until Max retires ahahah. I would like to see him next to Max but there's some favouritism in the structure and Yuki is not the favoured one.

The second seat is already explained up.

Now, do I think Alex and Charles would leave their respective teams?

I think that Alex will. I don't see him as connected as Charles to Ferrari or Lando to McLaren. He's comfortable in the team because after all they are treating him correctly, with respect, not like the Red Bull structure. If he wants to be a champion he'll need another opportunity in a top team because I see it really difficult for Williams to step up their game in a short time. They need to renovate their facilities and that takes years (I do hope they can do it though, it'll be beautiful to have different teams between the top ones we've had the last 2 decades)

About Charles, I think he will realize he doesn't owe anything to Ferrari very late. Like, he loves Ferrari so much after everything they've done that I think that the only way he'll realize he won't achieve anything in there is if Carlos does well outside that team. Why Carlos? Because he'll be the only ex-teammate still in the grid, no other reason. He has too much confidence in that team and it will backfire on him. Probably the love the tifosi and the Italian media have for him won't help to make a decision.

Bearded men?The characters may be gods and therefore expected to fit the "perfect specimen" BUT the artists and sculptors who depicted the gods did portray them differently , Look at apollo ! I have to agree with you though I hate that there’s no real representation for the guys in this webcomic, I’m tired of them all looking like they hit the gym 24/7 and they’re just copy pastes of each other. I’ve said this before but one thing I absolutely (used to I guess) love about Thanatos was his lanky frame, he stood out so much to me because no one really uses a lot of skinny men or at least the media I consume doesn’t include them at all! but as soon as season 2 came in and they changed him I was so disappointed, I hate that everyone is just fine with the men being changed into a certain way but not the women. can you imagine if someone made Hestia or Athena skinnier and curvier like Persephone?? everyone would be outraged (which is completely understandable cause I would to) but because it’s the guys there isn’t much care for it. after the next season and the seasons after that, all of the mens body types changed and I genuinely felt like it took part of their personality and something that made them so lovable in the first place, they were literally shells of themselves and that upset me greatly. but yeah, we need more representation for all men I’m tired of this weird “the more attractive man has a six pack with a thousand muscles and blah blah blah” because it’s like saying they’re more desirable that way which is a theme for a bunch of characters in this damn comic. but yeah all men are attractive and worthy of being seen so there should be more rep for that. also another thing I’d like to add cause you brought it up briefly is how the fans defend Persephone being short and curvy, a lot of them try and say “short and curvy adults exist” and “i’m short and curvy and I exist” as an argument whenever anyone would critique just how short and over sexualized Persephone was in the early (and still going on now..) seasons and I understand that people like that exist in the world but we’re talking about Rachel making this design so childlike and innocent, “pure” if you will because there’s a bunch of purity culture going on LO, just so she can put that very design that not only resembles a child but acts and thinks like one too in various sexual situations where her boundaries are broken and she’s powerless or not even aware of what’s going on. I feel like the whole thing is really disgusting, mostly because there are times where I see myself in Persephone whether it be mindsets or just casual speaking and interacting and it probably has something to do with her still being 19 which I genuinely believe is barely legal and still scientifically deems you a child, and yet no one bats an eye about it and in fact they encourage it to happen more without any context… the way Rachel decided to make Lore Olympus is more terrifying than what it was supposed to be but there’s never not gonna be a time where I’m not deeply disturbed.

I finished the rest of it about an hour ago, am still working over the emotions that I've finished all there is. I want more, and I want it now.

Favourite characters are most of them. They're all so fascinating to watch, especially the Endless. And the Dreams! They've all got their motivations and aren't just there to fill in a gap.

Dream and Death are fascinating and amusing to watch together, and I hope we see more of them in S2. Johanna Constantine made me extremely happy, probably because of how much I love the Hellblazer series and Dr Who, and Desire has claimed a place high up on the liked list for being one of the first Genderfluid-Nonbinary characters I've ever seen in any of the things I've watched or read. Brain started screaming at me that they were like me.

Episode 4 has the most amazingly perfect 'battle'. Of course godlike entities fight like that, and not just a regular punching match. And episode 6 my beloved ❤

I've seen like 2 episodes of The Last Kingdom, I got really distracted

I've managed to convince a friend to watch Sandman so I have someone to ramble about it to, cause I've got a new favourite show

i found the first few episodes of tlk a bit slow. but it does pick up. season 3 is my favourite. and 4x09/4x10 are two of my favourite episodes in the show. love the introduction of sigtryggr too, they did a awesome job introducing him in S4. 😍

Top Manga/Manhwa I Read (2021)

These manga helped me get through 2021. I hope you all consider reading them in the future 🥰

1.) Blue Flag 💙

My favorite part of this manga was seeing the story through Touma’s eyes. Like we didn’t get his thoughts and I thought that was amazing.

I still feel like Blue Flag needed like 3-4 more chapters, but overall it was great.

I loved seeing how much holding Taichi’s hand meant to Touma <3 (which I will still write about! It’s in my drafts lol)

2.) Blue Period

Blue Period really resonated with me. Like writing and art are completely different mediums, but the creative process...the doubt...the anxiety...the joy...all of it is still the same. Blue Period did a amazing job of showcasing all of that. Seeing Yatora continuously work hard on his art made me want to work hard as well. I related to his character a lot. I have also cried during the creative process because I got harsh criticism or because I was frustrated. 🥲

Blue Period is a story I definitely needed and I can’t wait to see what happens to Yatora and his friends next!

3.) Diamond no Ace Act II

Diamond no Ace is my comfort series and reading the manga was a nice reprieve from my school work. 🥰 The Seidou vs Sankou game was intense! 😱 But seeing Sawamura power through and get the recognition he deserves was amazing, and I loved every second of it. I’m glad the third years came back to see the game.

I hope by this time next year, the Seidou vs Inashiro game has concluded and Seidou has gone to Koshien! I’m not ready to say goodbye to the current third years :’)

4.) Cheese in the Trap

I saw the creator of My Deepest Secret post about this on their Instagram, so I thought I would check it out! I fast passed almost every day since July and just finished it a few days ago.

It was a lot better than I thought! It wasn’t just a typical romance love triangle story. Every character had depth and the character development was amazing as well. I highly recommend checking out this series on Webtoon!

Season 3 was hard to get through because Younggon and Minsoo were unbearable. But knocking out two of the story’s antagonists in one season was a smart move.

I have a lot of love for Inho Baek ❤❤

5.) Waiting For Spring

I finally finished Waiting for Spring! It’s another one of my favorite shoujo mangas. I thought the art and character designs were beautiful! The story was pretty enjoyable too, and I’m glad it didn’t drag on for a long time.

6.) A Good Day To Be a Dog

This was another series I fast passed on Webtoon around early spring. Before I went to class, I would read a couple of chapters.

At first, I didn’t like it, but I decided to keep reading it because I wanted to know how Hana would handle turning into a dog. I’m glad I stuck with it because I really enjoyed this story! Lee Hey is a fantastic story teller and artist.

Well, that’s it for now! Hopefully, I can read more manga next year!!

I think you treat Dany too hard. I mean, her stans can be annoying, but that's it. She really is victim of bad writing. She certainly care for slaves (come on, she freed them), small folk and women in general. Her awful interactions with Sansa are just last time effort to make her look bad(I don't know why people jump to call Sansa the evil one, but still). She tries so hard to be good and sometimes makes mistakes, but it's normal for such young person. Crossing lords was bad decision but (1/2)

she did it under a lot bad emotions. She just saw unimaginable cruelty and wanted to straight things up. She messed up things along the way, but she is learning. I'm sure in books she will see through her wrongdoings and will be better. I came here after reading anon ex-Dany Stan. And I wanted to say that I disagree with both of you. She is good person (only troubled). I mean, come on, she loves her dragons. And Jon. She's gonna change her ways for them. D&D fucked her up, thats it. (2/2) 🤗❤🤗

look, I really appreciate that you ask nicely and I hope I don’t hurt you when I tell you that you really haven’t come to the right place. I firmly believe that Dany is supposed to be the fire threat for Westeros and that she is meant to become a tyrant and a villain. And there is plenty of foreshadowing in the books for that. There is also plenty of foreshadowing on the show. If you are interested you can look up my master meta post and look at the DarkDany stuff. I don’t know if anything I say will convince you though. I will try to give you some major points though.

Dany was one of the major selling point of the series and D&D always prioritized Dany. I can’t believe that they would have done the twist to Dark Dany if it was not what Martin told them about the ending.

Then there are all the questionable things Dany does on the show, and even from the very beginning: Season 1 : she lets Drogo attack a peaceful people so that he can enslave them and sell them and get money for their journey to Westeros:

Which is directly from the book:

     Slaves, Dany thought. Khal Drogo would drive them downriver to one of the towns on Slaver's Bay. She wanted to cry, but she told herself that she must be strong. This is war, this is what it looks like, this is the price of the Iron Throne.                  "I've told the khal he ought to make for Meereen," Ser Jorah said. "They'll pay a better price than he'd get from a slaving caravan. Illyrio writes that they had a plague last year, so the brothels are paying double for healthy young girls, and triple for boys under ten. If enough children survive the journey, the gold will buy us all the ships we need, and hire men to sail them."  (AGOT, Dany VII)

In the books and the show Dany backpedals and tries to “save” some of the women (by marrying them to their rapists btw), but the further we come along in the books the more Dany succeeds in teaching herself how to look away and how not to have pity if is inconvenient for her politics.

Then there is her freeing slaves. She was absolutely o.k. to have slaves in book 1 and 2, it is only when she tries to buy the Unsullied and does not have the money for it that she puts freedom on her agenda. Let’s have a look:

"Unsullied!" Dany galloped before them, her silver-gold braid flying behind her, her bell chiming with every stride. "Slay the Good Masters, slay the soldiers, slay every man who wears a tokar or holds a whip, but harm no child under twelve, and strike the chains off every slave you see." She raised the harpy's fingers in the air . . . and then she flung the scourge aside. "Freedom!" she sang out. "Dracarys! Dracarys!"     (ASOS, Daenerys III)

Please note that she first gives the orders to the Unsullied and that she only throws away the symbol of her mastery aside. Please also note that she basically ordered the Unsullied to kill literal children (or are teenagers who are thirteen not children?)

In Meereen she actually agrees to let people sell themselves into slavery again and takes a tax for that! So much for caring for slaves.

As for loving the dragons that might be the problem: Because the dragons are brutal monsters and not pets:

Mother of dragons, Daenerys thought. Mother of monsters. What have I unleashed upon the world? A queen I am, but my throne is made of burned bones, and it rests on quicksand. Without dragons, how could she hope to hold Meereen, much less win back Westeros? I am the blood of the dragon, she thought. If they are monsters, so am I.  (ADWD, Daenerys II)

Does she love Jon though? Is it love if you let him beg for help even though the threat that he fights will get at you after some time as well? Is that love? Is it love to demand of your lover to keep a secret from his family?

And sry, not sry. Sansa and Dany will not get along. Do you think Sansa would like the Dragonlady who wants the North’s independence? The independence Sansa was beaten for in King’s Landing? Do you think Dany would in any way trust Sansa when she calls Ned “the usurper’s dog” all the time.

Let me add just one more thing: There is foreshadowing for Dany burning King’s Landing:

But it was not the plains Dany saw then. It was King's Landing and the great Red Keep that Aegon the Conqueror had built. It was Dragonstone where she had been born. In her mind's eye they burned with a thousand lights, a fire blazing in every window. In her mind's eye, all the doors were red.   (AGOT, Daenerys III)

I mean I probably cannot convince you to rethink your take on Dany, but if you do not believe me you might want to give the Meereense Blot a try (here), a series of essays which GRRM approved of that show Dany’s turn to the Dark.

I agree that GRRM writes about hard choices and grey characters, but believe me, Dany is not grey and she is not a hero, only in her own head and she has already rejected the effort to build a slow peace in Meereen.

Again, I really appreciate that you asked nicely but I sincerely think that you are completely mistaken in your interpretation of Dany and Sansa is set up as a foil to Dany not as her future friend.
