modern sitcom family au where these guys live together is so important to me
now i will talk about them and what they are doing in Yurei's house
Yurei in this au owns the apartment. She is an officer at hoshido police department, and is doing pretty well financially actually. She lets these guys rent the rooms in her big cool apartment. She's also a single mom, Yukika is in 1st grade!
Melissa is not the most approachable of these. She had a fight with her father and ran away from her family, and this is as much as she revealed. She rarely leaves the apartment, but somehow makes money (secretly an heir to a big company). She also pays for Agathe and Lounn's rent because "kids should not worry about stuff like this" so they tolerate her.
Agathe has been kicked out and was just in need of a place to live that was cheap and close to his high school and a part-time job. He is best friends with Lounn! And they both are in their last high school year.
Lounn is a prep girl, a cheer captain but she goes to a different high school than Agathe. She moved out as soon as she could because her parents were too silly. She treats this as a test drive into adult life.
Camille is here to attend Garreg Mach University, and is too scared to admit to her dad that there was an error in the dorms, so she quietly moved to Yurei's place and is planning to cut off her family.
Theo also attends Garreg Mach Uni. He seems to have more ties to Yurei than everyone else. He was once abducted and is trying to find his mother, Yurei helps him with that and monitors if anyone reported Theo missing. Theo's also making a living by making "pov your boyfriend drops 15 metal pipes asmr" videos
Yully is just. there. she never leaves her room. she draws. ok she leaves her room to eat, but thats it. hedge is fine
BONUS agathe's fashion sense and this venn diagram

al-haitham’s the kind of guy who tilts his head slightly for a kiss before you even lean in to give him one. he just knows it’s coming. expects it. trusts it’ll happen.
he’s yawning when he sits at the table for breakfast, hair slightly disheveled from sleep. he sits down and when you place the mug of coffee in front of him, his head angles a little for that kiss you place on his cheek.
he’s drowned in endless paperwork at the akademiya when you stop by to visit, chuckling when he gives you that look of despair at the all the work he has to do. you don’t even manage to walk up to him fully before he’s leaning in and waiting for the kiss to the top of his head.
he’s shirtless in the bathroom, brushing his teeth at night when you walk in to brush yours too, bumping hips with his as you giggle. you don’t even have to turn before he’s tilting his head so he’s exposed and ready for that gentle peck you leave at his jaw.
“have you ever noticed how demanding you are for these,” you chuckle one day, pressing a kiss to his cheek to prove your point.
he grunts, leaning in and burying his head into your neck as you greet him at the door after a long day. “what makes you say that,” he mumbles.
“you’re ready for one before i’ve even come close,” you grin, “what if one day i don’t kiss you?”
“you’d stop kissing me?” he asks, squeezing your hips as he nuzzles into your neck. something tells you he already knows your answer.
and he’s warm. he’s close. he’s here and he’s everything all at once. he’s all you need and everything you’ve ever wanted. he’s the messy hair of your mornings and the pouty lips of your afternoons and that shirtless back of every night. he meets you halfway—maybe even takes the first step so you don’t have to.
he leans in for that kiss before you do. because he needs you, wants you, loves you—and he never lets you forget it. so you turn your head, press your lips against the side of his head and run your fingers through his hair as he sighs in content.
“no,” you hum, falling in love all over again, “no i’d never stop kissing you.”

It's so weird that in angel s5e2 they do a little flashback to Spike's blaze of glory moment in the last episode of Buffy... but they leave out Buffy saying "I love you". It's such a blatant omission, the ONLY omission from that scene, that it feels totally deliberate and kind of dishonest. Considering a lot of the Spike and Angel moments in S5 revolve around their jealousy and rivalry towards each other, and a LOT of that is to do with Buffy like... Why would you leave it out? It's a pretty big moment for Spike's character in general.
As far as I recall they don't even mention it, they just mention the fact that Spike and Buffy have had a lot of sex compared to bangel's ONE disastrous time (that they remember) but it does kind of cheapen it for Spike. A big motivation for him not leaving LA could have been him not wanting to hold Buffy to her words, since he clearly doesn't believe that she loves him (even though she does, as per Whedon). He presumably thinks she only said that to make him feel better in his final moments, because she wouldn't have to actually follow through on her words. Which is sad. But it makes much more sense as a motivation than the weird 'it cheapens my moment of glory' excuse like since when does spike give a shit about that
