I always find these kinds of comments to be polite on the surface but actually quite rude. It's like: the author clearly labeled the video as a Douxie x Claire shipping, so if you're someone who 'likes their friendship,' why would you click on the video at the first place and leave such a comment? Are you some kind of “The emperor of the internet”? Have you considered that this video wasn't made for you? I guarantee, even if you don't say anything, no one will care about your opinion. We're not interested in knowing it—you have your taste, so just keep it to yourself, I respect that and I promise I will keep distance. As someone who shares different opinions with you (and I’m not saying you can't enjoy their friendship), but at least under a video that expresses our viewpoint, I’m not interested in it, I just find your behavior strange and offensive.

And then there are those who privately define the characters' relationships as 'friendship' or 'siblings' and use their own standards to criticize others, saying things like, 'So if you ship them as lovers, it's really gross.' Don’t you find your behavior ridiculous? Darling, you are not the center of the internet; the world doesn't revolve around you, and the universe doesn’t exist just for you. Imagination knows no bounds, and characters are free to be interpreted in different ways, so please just put away your authoritarian attitude.

Okay, but there are two sides to how i want miguel o'hara's story to progress. On one hand, i want him to be redeemed despite his flaws, for him to acknowledge his own short comings and his trauma and grief so he can move on. But, on the other hand, I want him to fucking snap. I want him to get so exponentially worse you have no idea. I want him to have a meltdown, suffer total mental break, to crumble under the weight of everything he's had to go through and everything he's done. I want btsv to make me CRY.

Here’s my take on the whole audio books vs. reading:

Oral tradition of storytelling predates written ones by millennias, and honestly, which one you like is just a personal preference.

The actual difference is

when listening, you have no idea how to write characters’ names

when reading, you have no idea how to pronounce characters’ names

people are drawing Steamboat Willie Mickey doing all this crazy shit and whatnot, but you could always do that. you can do that now, with current Mickey, just fine. it's fanart and it's legally protected. hell you could take Disney-drawn Mickey and put a caption about unions or whatever on it and it would still be protected under free speech and sometimes even parody law.

what is special about public domain is that you can SELL him. you could take a screenshot and sell it on a tshirt. you can use him to advertise your plumbing business. people have already uploaded and monetized the original film.

you could always have Mickey say what you want, but now you can profit off it.
