I've seen alot of people say that bbh made it onto the boat (the big purgatory one) but then fell off- (bc he mentioned falling off the boat when questioned how he got to the mainland)

And honestly I think that we have to take what he says with a grain of salt, since right now (due to his scrambled memories and trauma) he's an unreliable narrator.

He also mentioned that he he got hit with the blast while shielding dapper. Then carried dapper to a boat. Then fell of the boat.

The boat is (in my theory) the ferry to the afterlife over the river of styx, or maybe a metaphor for it. Which means that bad and dapper were about to die and pass on but bad survived and dapper is still "sleeping". That also kinda correlates with the dream(?) Limbo-state he was in at the start of the stream. Where he walked towards the light but ended up turning back bc he 'forgot something'. Something he couldn't leave behind. Something he had to check up on. I think it's maybe the eggs, since they are the only ones remembers steadily.

But yeah so in short, I guess that means that we still can't be sure how he really got back to the island.

It’s really kinda sad painful and interesting that the Captain’s death is one of the few where we don’t see him become a ghost. We almost expect it but the final shot of that scene is just him laying lifeless on the floor (and I suppose there there’s some mirroring between his and Kitty’s death, especially through the cinematography). How horrific must that have been when he did become a ghost? To be able to see Havers and trying to reach out to him, trying to get through to him only for Havers to never know he was still there, alone. Having to listen to all the nasty comments made by the other officers. To watch Havers leave the house for a second time, unable to get his attention or say goodbye.

in light of the previous anon's ask, are there any confirmed/canon ships in jjk? i just got into the series this year and i've seen a lot of people claiming satosugu is canon, as well as yutamaki.

There aren't really many, if any canon ships in jjk now that I think about it??? There seems to be something between hakari and kirara but nothing has ever been officially confirmed.

They are both very popular ships, but neither satosugu or yutamaki are canon. I understand why lots of people ship them though.

I'm not 100% sure but I think a big reason for lots of people saying stsg canon is due to the 'my one and only' line in jjk0, but that is actually exclusive to the viz translation.

The direct jp to eng translation is 僕の親友だ。たった一人のね -> "It was my best friend. The only one I have"

Viz's version, 'my one and only', still technically works but tbh I kind of feel like they worded it like that on purpose, almost borderline queerbaiting, but yeah.

Aside from that the ship does have lots of other things going for it tho! Definitely an important relationship in the series and whether people would like to interpret it romantically or plantonically is up to them. As far as 'canon' goes I'd say it'd be platonic (as of right now with the information we have).

While love is a very prominent theme in the series (the most twisted curse of them all, 'teaching' sukuna about love, ect.) I feel its mostly explored in otherways than romantic. Whether it be familial, platonic, or whatever. jjk is definitely not a romance focused series, so I'm not sure if we ever will see any canon ships explored. I guess mechamaru was heavily implied to have a thing for miwa, but.. . well, we know how that ended 💀

do you think marlene ever told ellie about her mother. like, in the game ellie has anna's note, yet other than the recordings there is no mention of anna further; in the show there is only the flashback and nothing more to tell us that ellie even knows who her mother was. in all those years did ellie ever ask about her? if marlene knew anything, if she was just found by marlene and put into fedra and thats it. i wonder if she thought her mother was funny, if she was kind, if she looks like her at all. i wonder if marlene found it too hard to voice, to tell her, and its why ellie says "you my fucking mom or something?" in the first episode to marlene bc maybe she actually has no idea what her mother was like, what her name even was. it almost sadly alludes to ellie not even knowing that marlene was so close to anna. does she...does she even know the knife was her mothers? like....thats so depressing actually. in the show, what was left of ellie to know about her mother died with marlene. im biting my phone

If her daughter became the target after her death, then Reiko's relatives won't be up against those powerful exorcists nor do I believe they would take care of her that openly either way ...

If she needs protection and Reiko need to hide her daughter and the book then who can she entrust her to ?? If her husband is dead then who else is there ??

If her enemies are those powerful exorcist then she'll need someone that powerful and have the power to hide and protect her daughter till they shake them away ...

anyway gabi variant whose a reality traveller like wishi. she travels the same way wishi does (through portals but sometimes they kinda just phase in and out bc it's funny) except she's also able to dream-walk through realities.

(no super real visual differences between her and the usual csm gabi's. she just doesn't have the abnormal traits (ahoge, eye rings, and the line down her spine. though i'm contemplating letting her keep the ahoge bc it's cute. visual difference is because this gabi never needed wishi to give her powers, she kinda just spawned in with them 🙇🏽‍♀️)

she has a silly "meet-cute" kind of thing w/ denji after accidentally going into his dream while she slept normally. they meet each other more often in his dreams and they start falling in love w/ one another; denji thinks she's literally his dream girl (but also in a metaphorical sense because she is, in a way, his dream girl) while gabi knows the truth and just doesn't correct him. 🔽🔽

they do end up meeting irl after gabi actually travels to his reality while trying to escape something else. she kinda just gets spit out via portal into his kitchen in the middle of breakfast lowkey and denji goes "omg it's my dream gf !!! whaght is she doing in my kitchen ..." and she goes "...." cause she hit her head on the counter so she's outta there @-@

ermm other stuff happen I guesssss but that's unimportant !!! the real importance is the fact that they're actually together now in REAL life !!!! no need for gabi to hijack his dreams to see his cute ass face when she can kiss it in the waking world 😋✌🏽!!!
