Special Delivery AU !

The whole point of this AU was just me wanting to see silly little puppet babies so I made a stork puppet who hand (or wing) delivers babies to couples' houses! His name is Sammy Stork and he tries to be quiet/sneaky about it, surprise baby lmao

This can be for headcanon ships or self inserts! It's all for fun! I personally made it so I could give my welcome home OC a silly bird baby with Poppy!! Please tag me (if you want to) because I just love the creativity that I see on tumblr !!

(Aaaah thank you!! Learning to draw Chuuya better has been a substantial driving force for me attempting to improve my art, so that’s great to hear :D)

This comic series has gotten very out of hand alskjdfj it really was initially just going to be a snapshot of skk being stupid together — but now that I’ve introduced the angst, it feels weird to leave it unresolved, so rest assured I have plans! :0

::Coffee Shop AU Drabble::

Mari ends up rambling about her story ideas as he listens with rapt attention, his friendly, inviting grin never wavering, chuckling heartily into his coffee every now and then as he takes a sip. She's not surprised to hear he's part of a band - by the way he's dressed, she figured it was either that or he drove a motorcycle? Maybe it's both, she thinks, but forgets to ask, because he's scribbling something down on a napkin and sliding it over.

"It's all good if it's not your kind of scene, but if you ever want to come by the club and hear us jam out, this is the place! We play on Tuesdays and Thursdays. First drink's on me!"

If it were any other patron, Marisol would feel skeeved out by the wink he tosses her, but she finds herself smiling back, butterflies fluttering in her chest.

"Thanks! That sounds nice~"

And despite her worries that he might not remember her when she does, she eventually goes to his set a couple weeks later, and he Does remember her. Introduces her to his band mates, who are all very kind and welcoming, each with their own idiosyncrasies - and it's so much fun. More fun than she's had in a while. From then on, she goes to see them once a week and Teeth comes in for coffee at least twice. Every time he visits, Mari absolutely lights up and it seems too soon that he's tipping his hat to her, heading out the door, leaving her giggling over his latest anecdotes, a big tip on the counter despite only having had a coffee or two. She's writing more these days and her head is full of music, golden teeth and golden tones.💖🎶🎹

fraggle rock au where the plot of “the riddle of rhyming rock” is what i thought it was gonna be when i first watched it, where solving the riddle would send a fraggle back in time

this assumption was based on three things.

1) the story about rhyming rock: “weary traveler, heed this rhyme, and you will dance in time”. dance in time? like dancing through time? it very well could be!

2) the fact that on apple tv the preview picture for the episode is of great uncle gobo. how could there be an episode with him? a flash back?? surely not!

3) i really like time travel

those things combined made me come to the conclusion that gobo would solve the riddle and get sent back in time

and to add in the details in the summary (as shown on the above picture) it could be something where solving it sends everyone in the room back in time, and the punishment for using the spell wrong happens only after everyone goes back, so that thing where wembley gets trapped under the rock could still happen

and then, idk, gobo goes to get help but the only person he can find is his great uncle? time travel shananigans you know

that’s pretty much all the ideas i had on this. though if this happened that would mean that wembley had gone back it time twice, and red would be the only of their group who hasn’t (thank you “mokey, then and now”)

“Are you breaking up with me?”

Hughie looks up from his stack of paperwork to stare at Ben at the other side of the table. “What?”

Ben narrows his eyes at him. “You fucking heard me.”

“I’m — yeah, I heard you. Am I breaking up with you? Dude, we’re not— We’re not dating.” Except now that he’s said it, he’s kind of unsure about it. Maybe he missed something. Are they? Dating would include, well. Going on dates. Right? And talking to each other outside of slurs (one sided) and headache-induced replies (one-sided).

“Of course not. What are you, gay? Shut up and answer me.” Ben has picked up his tortoise shell fountain pen and hauls it at Hughie, who has the presence of mind not to duck and lets it hit him square in the chest to make sure it doesn’t shatter against the wall. Which — ouch. “Why do you think I’m—“ he clearly his throat, “breaking up with you?”

“You complain about these like a pissy wife.” Ben raises his right hand, cigarette burning down between middle and ring finger. “Figured you’d go the whole bitch route and call it quits because you don’t like the taste.”

“I’m not— first of all, we’re not making out, so I have no reason to complain about the taste. Andbeforeyou— And before you say anything, no. I’m not getting a taste of them through any other second hand activities that involve my mouth on you, so I have no reason to complain ‘like a pissy wife’.” Brief pause. “Which is a misogynistic thing to say by the way. Not that you’d care.”

There’s a pause where Hughie catches his breath and Ben very slowly raises his hand to take a drag of his cigarette, watching Hughie with lowered lashes. He blows smoke through his nose. Licks his bottom lip, drags his Pearl-straight teeth over them. Hughie shifts a little, unsure whether the guy is about to throw the table and force them to spend an hour or two trying to rearrange their papers. “I mean, I’d be willing to drop the cigarettes. Cigars not so much and you don’t get to touch my fucking weed, but I can compromise. If it’s that important.”

Oh, Jesus.

“Butcher?”

The man in question doesn’t look up at Hughie’s desperate plea. Instead, he picks up a green text marker and pointedly circles something on his own printed out document. “Laddie, I’m not even in this fucking room right now.”

Hello there! Your jjk fix it au is a really interesting idea! Is it ok for you to tell how and why mahito became an assisted duo with shoko?

For sure! I haven't written or made any other notes on it so I'm just working from a loose idea. If someone wants to write or draw it out, go for it I suppose. (It got long, full text under the cut 😅. Tl;dr is Shibuya Incident goes not as bad as canon, Gojo snags Kenjaku and Mahito for some harebrained experiment to fix Geto and bring him back, Shoko is stuck working with Mahito because she's apparently the school's only medic. Things go better than expected.)

I'd have to re-watch the episodes to get the exact order of events but basically the AU begins around the start of the Shibuya Incident arc: the students and other sorcerers manage to catch up to Gojo and not-Geto in time to keep their teacher from being sealed. Instead, the school team is able to turn things around on the curse gang.

I imagined the turning point is that Yuji and possibly others manage to reach the station in the moments before the Prison Realm actually grabs Gojo, leaving it out in the open to be swiped and repurposed. Freed of his momentary distraction, Gojo does some quick mental math on the situation: his friend's body has been stolen - but his soul seems to be intact, the Prison Realm is within reach, as is the cursed spirit with a technique that can manipulate the body via its soul. He can work with this.

So whoever is there (probably Gojo, Yuji, and Todo?) take advantage of the stunning effect of Gojo's domain and the Prison Realm to get Kenny boxed up and grab Mahito while he's incapacitated (probably literally, since Gojo could probably safely 'touch' him with Infinity running), and drag the both of them back to the school for safekeeping.

Gojo's harebrained scheme is to surgically extract Kenjaku and use Mahito's ability to grow a working brain back into Geto's body. It's weird, but it's no worse than having to kill him all over again. Unfortunately to do this he needs to have Mahito's cooperation, which he initially does not. After some negotiation, Gojo enters into a pact with Mahito for his assistance; roughly a "Help us or we kill you" arrangement, since the school staff can guess that not-Geto was almost certainly planning to eat Mahito anyway.

Since Mahito's technique has extensive medical application, he ends up working alongside Shoko for the next little while. With supervision from Gojo at first, to ensure he behaves and to check up on Geto regularly. But the aftermath of the Shibuya Incident still needs attention so Gojo finds himself drawn away more often than not, leaving Shoko alone to deal with Mahito's shenanigans and care for a recovering Geto. Thankfully Shoko has enough experience dealing with annoying teenage boys (and Gojo) that she knows how to handle Mahito's childish temperament. She's the right mix of no-nonsense and easygoing to handle him and they eventually form a more cooperative working relationship. I imagine Mahito is one of those "problem children" that would thrive with clear instruction and strong boundaries. He'd be a good worker, he just needs someone to keep him in line.

If I do end up writing this in some capacity, my impulse right now is to make it 50% heavy SatoSugu angst, as Geto recovers in the care of his mortal enemies and the one person who never gave up on him; and 50% office comedy with Shoko and Mahito getting acclimated to one another and taking care of Geto and the rest of the cast as they heal up from the incident.

Part 2 of my silly impossible muppet adaptation of "The Cyberiad"

Fun facts:

Queen Ferocita and king Atrocitus used to rule the kingdom together, but after some disagreement they split the kingdom in half and possibly got divorced (But like in the original book, Trurl and Klapaucius resolve the conflict and all is well by the end)

The only difference between king Balerion in this version and his book counterpart is that all of his puzzles, riddles and silly games are related to fish in some way. His subjects still aren't crazy about how he runs the kingdom, but they at least appreciate his dedication to a consistent theme.
