But, instead of being shocked or scared, she is very happy about that, because she can share her food with him, and seeing his confused look, explain to him that she is cannibal.

You and Muzan were quite the couple, a power couple, should it be called.

You had been together for about eight months now, Muzan was considering tying the knot already.

But one thing stood in the way, he was a demon, you weren't.

God, he didn't want to even tell you, he couldn't imagine the look of betrayal on your face.

He was cruel and cold hearted, but for whatever reason, not with you.

It took a while, but he mustered up the courage to just tell you.

He opens the door to your room, where you sat on a coushin, brushing your hair.

You look back and smile at him.

"How are you doing, darling?"

Your voice is so sweet he can barely take it.

"My dear, I have to...talk to you about something. Something important."

The sincerity in his voice worries you.

You stand up, setting your comb down.

You walk over to him, taking his hands into yours.

"Is something wrong?"

"It..it should be nothing, dear. I don't want to trouble you."

He puts a finger under your chin, raising your head a bit to face him.

"Darling, I...well.."

You cock your head in confusion.

"Are you aware of...demons?"

Your eyes widen just a bit.

"Yes, I am. Why?"

"Well..." He sighs.

"I suppose I should have told you sooner, but, I am one."

You look shocked, initially, but that soon fades.

You smile at him, which confuses him.

"Well, that explains a lot, especially since I've never seen you eat, or go out in the day."

"You're... you're not upset?"

You shake your head.

"Of course not, now I know I can share my meals with you."

His brows furrow, his blood almost runs cold when you say that, if it wasn't cold already.

"Share your meals? What do you mean?" His voice is laced with confusion.

"I eat people too, silly."

His eyes widen, he hesitate to speak.

"You what? I...are you a demon as well?"

"No, I'm a human who also eats humans." Your tone is oddly cheery and unbothered.

It takes a moment, but he realizes.

He sighs a bit, feeling like a fool.

"I understand. What a lucky man I am to have found a lover who understands me like you do, while also sharing a diet. Well, I don't see any reason to hide anything else from you, dear."

He smiles handsomely, you giggle and hug him close, excited about your future meals together.

"Hmm...what would you say is the tastiest part of a person?"

"Well, that's hard...I suppose the more meaty parts, the thighs, stomach, and sometimes the biceps if they are stronger."

You nod in agreement.

uhhhh. it varies. depends on my mood. i go through things in cycles. in the last few weeks i’ve watched growing pains, king of the hill, broad city, the golden girls, and disney stuff. for games stardew valley, doctor mario (nes version), and harry potter legos just hits all the right spots.

13. talk about an au or story you came up with

i have so many! i love aus!

i’ll talk about the steddie i’ve been working on for over a year. basically, no pennywise. they were born early 90s ish. the losers were friends all through middle school and high school. they moved away to their various cities and kind of lost touch, but also social media is a thing so they maintain some friendships. mostly richie and eddie stay friends.

this takes place about 6 years after they graduate. stan has come home to stay with his parents while he looks for work all over the country. he’s just graduated from graduate school and he’s ready to start his life eddie is also in derry because his mom had a stroke and he moved in with her to take care of hers.

eddie’s back story is so fucking sad, lmao. i have like 20k of him and an oc named david, and how eddie finally came out. (i love david so much. he deserves all the good things (spoiler alert: he gets them, although not with eddie))

it’s really just a soft summer fic where eddie and stan become friends and then start dating. they go on camping dates, pokemon hunting dates, and just have fun.

sonia is a fucking piece of work, but stan’s parents are very, very supportive. donald still gets it wrong a bit. he immediately assumes that they are going on a date when they go see movies “because they’re both gay” lmfao.

i’m almost done writing it, and hopefully will be posting soon. it’s going to be so soft and so good, you’ll see lmao.

13. Are you interested in creating an oc and roleplaying as them?

Hmm I never thought about it, at least not for the Inuyasha fandom. I do have a few old Inuyasha OCs from my teen days though none of them make a bit of sense (one of them was actually Hakudoshi’s daughter lmfao). 

But if I were to make an OC now, it would probably be my multi-fandom OC: Eleanor (whose name is Erin in series where the names are strictly japanese), however while I don’t mind RPing with OCs, I do know many aren’t comfortable with it so I am not sure if it would be worth the shot.  

18. What’s the one thing you want to try the most on your blog?

Three-way RPs. I know it can get messy and complex to have three people (or more) working on the same thread but I think all the possible dynamics, especially in action ones, could turn into something fun to do! And it can work out if we all coordinate who answers when or what.

19. Give us a headcanon about your muse that you never shared to anyone else or wanting to explore deeper.

Uff...boy okay. Let’s see...I can’t remember anymore if I have shared this with anyone else or not but here it goes: 

Hakudoshi is actually capable of love, the problem is...he has absolutely no clue how to deal with it or what to do with it. If there is one thing he doesn’t know what to do with is the positive feelings, the love, the friendship. He is also too proud (and also busy with his plans to overthrow Naraku) to even ask for help on how to deal with them, who would even help him? 

Kagura? They are too far into their ‘I hate you’ relationship to be able to sit down and talk about love. Kohaku? Why would he talk to a human about such things, especially one who doesn’t even remember where he came from. Kanna? Well for obvious reasons she is more clueless about feelings than he is.

And because of this he never talks about it. To him it’s so much easier to make himself be hated, be distant and pushing others away than actually trying to understand what love is. Besides who would even try to love a spawn of Naraku?

27. What songs do you listen to when wanting to get into the mood of roleplaying?

Mostly anime openings (currently it’s Naruto/Boruto, Inuyasha, BNHA and KNY ops), they inspire me for writing and for AU ideas, existing or new ones (which are so many right now). Disney songs as cheesy as it sounds can also do the trick sometimes!

Oh boy LOL I would love to be able to name a cute memory but all that I can think of was being in grade 2 (or maybe 3?) singing American Idiot by Green Day with my friend taking turns saying different parts of the word ‘fuck’ so that we weren’t technically swearing lmfao

Actually while I was writing that I also remembered that while in Grade 5 or 6 I was at my Aunt and Uncles house listening to Hollaback Girl by Gwen Stefani while on my old ass laptop in their backyard

I really didn’t listen to age appropriate music when I was younger and it shows

Ava would have a really nice blog, an Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter.

Talitha would have a blog where she hosted her own articles and research for free, as well as posted answers & such to people’s questions. She would have two Twitter accounts--one for her pseudonym and the other for her personal life; as well as an Instagram and Snapchat. And probably Tumblr.

9. Why do you write the genre you write?

I grew up with fantasy. Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, the Hobbit, Disney... Also had a lot of Sci-Fi in there too (Star Wars, mainly, but my parents both enjoyed Star Trek as well). So that’s part of it. But when I was about, I dunno, 8 or 9? I saw the Eragon movie, & the only part of it I really remembered was the baby dragon. I wanted to read the book something awful, & then I did, & I found out the author was pretty young when he wrote it & that made me realize that I could be an author one day & I wanted to write about dragons & cool adventures &... 

Thus fantasy is my main genre.

woodland creatures - day 4 (orlando pt. 2)

was i excited to be on tour? yes. was i also super nervous about going on tour before leaving? also yes.

was i excited to go to disney springs? Y E S. was it the one thing i knew i could look forward to even if i sucked at every fucking show???

my poor bandmates. i said the night before, “hey, i just realized, we never actually really discussed going to disney springs.” and they were like, “yeah.”

but! we went anyway!!! bless their hearts!!!

the morning after staying up and partying was rough. i had the NASTIEST hangover. my headache was so severe that i couldn’t even fall back asleep following 5 hours of rest. i popped some advil and tried to get a couple more hours in but it was impossible, so i just got up and showered. the guys brought back panera for lunch, and then once everyone was ready we were off to disney springs. i could tell everyone was worried it was gonna be lame, i felt it in the air lmao. i was also worried i was leading them to a miserable afternoon in the hot florida weather. but i figured if they hated it we could always leave.

we pull up to disney springs and there is some semblance of what i remembered from the last time i was there but also a lot that i DID NOT recognize. the parking garages were definitely new. they had sensors over each parking spot that could indicate whether or not a car was in the spot, and it would update an LED screen outside the entrance with how many spots were available on each floor. i thought that was really cool. there were gardens on the sides of the garages too. we then go up some stairs and down an escalator to get in, and hooooly shit i was blown away. there was a brand new area that had a fountain and all of the shops looked reminiscent of spanish architecture. it was so beautiful. 

we got group pictures in front of the fountain, and then i decided to get a happy birthday pin from guest relations lmfao. i wanted to see if i could get any free shit by just waltzing around with a birthday pin on. i was unsuccessful but i had never been in or near disney on my birthday anyways so i just rolled with it. we started to the right and went to world of disney, marketplace co-op, the lego store and the pin trading shop. 

i was completely overwhelmed by how big all of the stores were. there was so much cool shit. i really thought i would have an easy time abstaining from spending money, since my sister was literally just there and got me the one thing i wanted, but i did NOT. at world of disney i bought ANOTHER pair of minnie ears, the rose gold sparkly ones lmfao. not usually my style, but there weren’t any others i was crazy about. joe got a shirt and ryan bought some stuff for his girlfriend christina. i wanted clothes but i decided to wait to see if there might be better merchandise elsewhere.

we moved on to marketplace co-op and i immediately found a disney world long sleeve shirt i loved so i grabbed that. i alsoooo balled out and got a print of the most beautiful mulan painting i have ever seen. it was a depiction of one of my favorite parts in the movie, when she is singing reflection and chops off her fuckin hair, but in the garden instead of the shrine. that movie means very very much to me as an asian american!!! besides that i got emperor’s new groove patches later on in the afternoon and that was all i spent my money on. $138 later. yeesh.

my friends eton and jeri who came to the show the night before wanted to meet up for food and drinks, so i walked over to frontera cucina. i thought maybe my bandmates might join us but they weren’t hungry and it was more of a sit down place, so we parted ways for an hour. i hadn’t seen eton and jeri since they moved down to orlando in january, holy shit. it was so good to hang out with them. we caught up and enjoyed some really good lunch. i ordered a gin and tonic that had a whole ass cucumber peel wrapped around the glass and pork belly tacos. i bugged out bad because eton wouldn’t let me pay nor could i get his venmo from jeremiah to cover my portion. it was so sweet of them to treat me. i met them through jeremiah, i always tell him how much i love his friends and how they’ve become my friends the more we all hang out together. it sucks our time was so damn brief but i’m just glad i got to see them.

after late lunch i met back up with everyone and we walked around a little longer, but i mistakenly let us stay a little later and lost track of time. it was just about time to start heading over to hail the sun. i felt really bad because people mentioned wanting to go swimming or take a nap and i effectively robbed everyone of any allotted leisure activity time by wanting to gallavant around more. i was definitely just as wiped as everyone, but i hadn’t been back to disney in forever. we hurried back to the van and drove back to kissimmee. 

pulses. had been grilling and chillin at the airbnb all day, so they were ready for the gig when we got back. we got back just in time to leave when they did, like 15 minutes before. we both hopped in our respective vehicles and we were off. they always dropped snails in the tour chat and called us with snails ahead because we were slow with the van lmfao but it’s not MY FAULT the shit is SO HUGE damnit. i drove the van to the gig with josef, jaime and kris while ryan and santino stayed home. 

it’s interesting to go to a show in another state, it does feel pretty weird to go somewhere unfamiliar, but it really does feel the same as attending a show at home. people really are pretty much the same everywhere else, just different geographical locations and climates. the gig was really good but the venue was SO SMALL. too small. i like the soundbar but i might like it better if you didn’t have to wade your way through a crowd of swamp ass to get to the bathrooms alllll the way on the other side of the venue opposite of the entrance. plus, it got so packed that it was really difficult to be near the stage, let alone inside the building. for most of the show the 10 of us camped out in a really great spot near the bathrooms that wasn’t getting too much traffic and had its own bar so we stayed there.

we were at the show where sergio broke his headstock. i don’t think i’ve ever seen a show where sergio stands still the entire time, in the dozens of times i’ve seen him play. he was so close to that monitor/the ceiling but i didn’t suspect his guitar was going to break. i completely missed it because i was looking down at my phone (womp) but i heard everyone audibly gasp. that sucks dude. i think that was the only bummer the whole show though besides the heat and some sloppy drunks. pulses. are friends with zach garren so he was hanging out near us here and there throughout the night. daisy came to the gig so she came and found us, we hung out for a good portion of the show, too! it was a really good chance to talk more too after the gig the night before. she told us a lot about what the florida scene is like. we told her it’s infinitely better than the tri-state area LMAO. at least like, people show up to shows and STAY on a monday night which is insane. and then joseph arrington is a friend of ours so he said hi a couple times during the gig, afterwards him and i talked more when it was quieter. 

it is one of the greatest honors in my entire life that joseph arrington sees me as a homie. writing this under the presumption he’s never gonna see this lmao, but i have to pinch myself sometimes. we’ve been friends since we played the last ALLB tour september 2017. i introduced myself and mentioned that we had opened for sianvar’s 2016 tour at webster hall and he actually remembered us. ryan also introduced himself as one of his patreon donors and they talked for like 45 minutes. that show he asked for a CD (and it was years in waiting our older album too yikes lol there’s bangers on there but it doesn’t sound like us anymore) and he messaged me later that night like, “we’re listening in the van right now, you’re a great singer”. we’ve hung out at gigs a couple more times, whether we played together or either ryan or i went to go see him play. the fact he considers us peers is one of the most validating things i have. i’ve learned a lot of helpful insight from him. i have tremendous respect for him and couldn’t be more grateful that he actually likes us as musicians and as people. 

all of the bands of course were awesome, i couldn’t stand the heat enough to be inside for every single hail the sun song but i caught most of their set. it’s pretty insane to see them blow up like they have. they deserve it. and i think donovan is one of the best vocalists i’ve ever heard. that whole camp of blue swan musicians are just so talented. 

josef, jaime and kris graciously waited outside for me to finish talking to joe arrington, and during that time josef actually caught will swan outside. he said he had the chance to tell will swan deathstar is the reason he plays music and it made him very happy to do so. it had happened like a little bit before i came back outside. we then got lost trying to find the van and hilariously passed the actual entrance to the parking garage like 3 times. it was literally across the street and i led them around the block twice. 

we went back to the airbnb for one more swim and we almost had another super late night legit just talking to pulses. kris sat outside editing photos while some of the guys swam, some of us just sat with our feet in the pool. when we got back ryan and santino had been sleeping and i think i maybe saw santino get up once to go to the bathroom. i did really want to go to sleep but ughhhhh i also thought to myself, i can sleep when i get home from tour. i get really bad FOMO every day of my life. so we stayed up and we talked about all things dance gavin dance, blue swan, our local scene, and bein in a band. it’s insane how alike we all are in our way of thinking. i also find it hard to open up to other bands though because it seems like no one else sees playing music and trying to grow a band the way we do. i just wanted to eat up any time i could bonding with pulses., taylor and tyler. thankfully we weren’t up until 4 am again but legit any time up spending time with all of my friends was worth it.

ok so this is very very off topic. but the driver era dropped a single tonight (it’s called leave me feeling confident. i am giving it a first listen as i type this). and like seeing the tracklisting for the album that’s coming out in october really has me like ???. they’ve already released 10 of the 15 songs on the album. why are they still releasing singles. and one of the 5 songs left to be released is an interlude?? like. it’s just weird tbh. like a kiss and forever always are both on it and those songs were released on like a mini ep as singles nearly TWO YEARS AGO. omg plz don’t come around (my fav fav fav song by them) and flashdrive are also both on it, which both came out like a year and a half ago. it just seems like such a weird way to release an album.

Why did you pick your muse? Well, I’ve been a big fan of OP for nearly a decade and have always related to Nami? That, and she’s cute and my gay ass draws her all the time anyway so might as well have a reason to lmfao.

Do you cosplay? Yes, who? No, do you want to? I do! I’ve been doing casual cosplays for a few years now. I have cosplayed Luffy (well, fem!Luffy), Nami (Enies Lobby arc outfit, featuring @ask-captain-usopp as Sogekingu), aaand Mirai from Kyokai no Kanata. I think I’m probably forgetting one or two cosplays but whatever lmfao... on a slightly more embarrassing note for a few years I used to co-run and work at an annual Maid Cafe event at my college, which is coincidentally how I met @ask-captain-usopp.

Do you like writing as well? Gimme the deets I love to write! I actually minored in writing for my Bachelors. I have plans for a novel buuuut so far all I’ve really done is write short stories and fanfiction lmfao (No One Piece fics yet though.)

Can you cook/bake? I love to cook and bake! I don’t bake as much as I used to, mostly cooking these past few years. My favorite thing to cook right now is this chicken bacon spinach alfredo recipe I found a few months back--hmu if you want the recipe it’s super easy.

When was the last time you gave yourself a compliment for all the great work you do? I’m the type to regularly give myself a pat on the back for getting stuff done, so yesterday after I did like 3 loads of laundry.  

Do you have any pets? Yes!!!! I have an old man cat named Maximus and a beta named Shouto. Maxy is a shorthair maine coon mix, and Shouto is a red and white fantail. If you ask me for pics I will send you 1 billion.

First Fandom I joined: Oh boy this is a good question. I was just talking to Boyfriend the other day about how Han/Leia was my first OTP before I really knew what that meant? Like watching the movies as a kid I felt in my heart like “yes they’re so good together please be happy together forever” I wasn’t on the Internet at all until 2008, and not on tumblr until 2011, and not on stan twitter until earlier this year lmao. When I started the tumblr, it was mostly disney and then avengers when it came out? This blog is my first like dedicated I’M IN A FANDOM venture.

Favorite book: I hate this question because I know someone out there will hate me for it *squints* but the honest truth is “The Outsiders” by S.E. Hinton it’s been my favorite since seventh fucking grade so fight me about it!!!1!

Worst thing you’ve ever eaten/tasted: Oh no this is horrible because I’m a fucking picky ass eater lmao uhhh I hate rice?? bad texture.

What class do you wish you paid more attention to in school? This is not the answer you’re looking for but I had some severe problems in my life when I was in high school so really I wish I had been able to pay more attention to everything in school. I would literally time travel back and redo it all if I could. I would have taken my government classes more seriously, gotten more into my history classes, and would have signed up for AP Art History because I fucking wanted to but I didn’t. If those problems hadn’t been there or hadn’t affected me so badly I would have gotten better grades and could have chosen something different for college. In college, I might have looked for something more like anthropology and focused more on language in a cultural and socio-historical context and not just language and teaching language. Similarly without those problems I would have been able to pay better attention in college and have gotten better grades, done more academic research, etc.

Just hypothetically, if you could get rid of one entire species and not have it screw up the ecosystem at all, what would it be? Humans :’) we’re the worst.

First foray into fanfic? How To Train Your Dragon on that fanfiction net website. I remember seeing the second film and feeling so, like, when are those two going to kiss and get married and live happily ever after? I needed that closure. Then I discovered AUs and ~lemons~ and then I was reading Frozen fic for a while(??) and finally Supernatural. Apple Pie Life by @heyacas​ was the first fic I read on ao3 after it was recced to me and I never looked back.

OMF TLK2—I wholeheartedly agree on Zira??? There was always something that bothered me about her, but I could never figure out what; you just put it into words—she freaking popped out of nowhere... also I was always slightly bothered by like?? Simba's HUGE personality shift? Like, don't get me wrong, I think it was interesting to see how becoming a father made him overprotective and super cautious (especially because of his younger years), but the change felt so *jarring* from the simba we knew from 1 who was at first a daring adventurer who went to the elephant graveyard without permission and then raised on a philosophy that was literally "no worries". His own parents were never *that* protective over him, and to me, it never felt right that he got *so protective* over her because I don't remember there ever being a "threaten your daughter" scene. At the very least, TLM2 had this to explain why Ariel suddenly started doing *exactly* what her father did in the first one, because it literally started with a scene that showed Melody was in serious danger if she ever tried to go to the sea while the second sea witch (I'm blanking on her name) was around. I get that Zira and the others who defected were definitely a threat, but there was no evidence in the first one (like you said) to even make us think they existed, which makes Simba's reactions seem all the more extreme because like... really how much of a threat were they? When we finally DO see them threaten her, it's bad of course, but idk... ANYWAYS wow I've rambled long enough, basically I agree, idk why I'm adding my Discourse-inducing™ opinion on a Disney sequel post....

Hahaha, well, I basically just dropped a Discourse™-flavored post before I swanned off to bed, so don’t worry about adding Discourse™ to the Discourse™. =P Although, the idea that there could be Disney sequel Discourse™ at all is a funny one, though I don’t know how legitimate it is for me to say that when my coworkers (especially K) and I have had discussions about animated movies at work that are so serious they nearly rival the “is Hilary Swank hot” discussion that the employees of Dunder-Mifflin Scranton had, so.

But yeah, Zira’s existence made absolutely no sense given what was set up in TLK 1, especially since the hyenas were apparently just gone (at least, I don’t remember them at all in TLK 2). It isn’t like the lions defeated the hyenas in TLK 1; rather, while some of the lionesses did engage in combat with the hyenas, most of the hyenas followed Simba and Scar, and when Scar said that it was all the hyenas’ doing, that they were really at fault et cetera, the hyenas turned on Scar and ended up killing him. I mean, we don’t see every gruesome detail, but we can tell from the shadows that’s what happened. We aren’t explicitly told what became of the hyenas after that, but I would assume that they would be the ones banished to the Outlands, not some lionesses who---for some wildly inexplicable reason---supported Scar. Of course, I guess they figured having a hyena/lion romance wouldn’t really work, and they really wanted to create Romeo & Juliet, but still. They didn’t have to break canon to do it. (Though again, it’s still not broken as badly as The Lion Guard breaks it, and TLK 1.5 was also godawful with the way they did things like trying to ruin “The Circle of Life” with a frigging joke. That’s one of your most majestic musical numbers and you want to ruin it with a joke, Disney? Really?)

As far as Simba being overprotective of Kiara, I would argue that Mufasa and Sarabi were similarly overprotective, actually. Like, I feel like more emphasis was placed on Simba simply because he kept warning Kiara not to leave Pride Rock et cetera, but remember, Sarabi would only let Simba go to the watering hole if he had Zazu there to supervise. Simba at least told Timon and Pumbaa to follow from a distance, so that Kiara wouldn’t feel like she was constantly under supervision even though she was. So I do think there’s some precedent there, and I think that for Simba it might even be less because of example, and more because of what he got up to when he was a cub. When he was a kid, he staged a musical number to ditch Zazu, ended up in the elephant graveyard, and was nearly killed by hyenas until his father showed up. Then he decided to show off in the gorge (under Scar’s encouragement, but still), and Mufasa was killed. And even though Simba now knows that Scar set that up, I think it’s reasonable to think that he still blames himself for some extent, like, “If I hadn’t listened to Scar and showed off that day, that wouldn’t have happened.” Even though Timon and Pumbaa raised him on hakuna mattata, I think Simba used that more as a deflection for the guilt and trauma that was still clearly bothering him even as an adult (and is the reason why he fights with Nala at first when she wants him to return to Pride Rock). He carried that with him, and perhaps still does even as an adult, and he doesn’t want Kiara to end up in a similar situation that he did. So he’s protective, especially since he knows that (thanks to the retcon) there are lionesses out there that are just like Scar, and he wants to shield his child (rightly or wrongly) from that.

That said, I do agree that there was never enough of a threat toward Kiara shown in the movie. Even in the confrontation over her and Kovu meeting when they’re cubs, Zira only makes a move after Simba pounces at Kovu first. And I think that that was pretty out of character for Simba, for him to act that aggressively toward a baby, because this is the same guy who refused to kill Scar because, “I’m not like you.” If he wouldn’t even kill the person who murdered his father and destroyed his home, is he really going to act aggressively toward a child? Are we really supposed to believe that he only holds back when Zira reminds him that Kovu is a child and offers up said boy for the slaying? That doesn’t feel right to me, no matter how protective Simba is over Kiara. That’s where I feel like they went too far, but again, we didn’t even see a real threat to Kiara in that scene, especially since I don’t think Zira ever considered her worth much of anything. I think she only ever saw Kiara as a way to hurt Simba. (Her villain song, “My Lullaby” illustrates this quite nicely, I think, with how much focus is put on Simba and how little is put on Kiara. Namely: “The sound of Simba’s dying gasp / his daughter squealing in my grasp / his lionesses’ mournful cries / that’s my lullaby.” Simba is referenced by name, whereas Kiara is just “his daughter,” and I think that does a good job of showing how little Kiara matters to Zira.)

. . . anyway, I didn’t think I’d be writing meta for The Lion King today, but here we are lmfao. Also, I can say this: For as little as Zira’s character makes sense, I do love her villain song. It’s probably one of the best ones that Disney has ever produced. So while TLK 2 was, by and large, terrible, it did at least give us that gem. That is something.
